NBA is a nepotistic league. No nepotistic business is ever set up for long term success. The refs are HORRIBLE and probably in on some rigging

There's just too much contact during regular play to have such an all-encompassing definition of what a "foul" is, and so you wind up with the constant, perpetual stoppages in play that plague the game. Free throws are not fun to watch. Free throws are not fun to take. Free throws are basketball reduced to a single-player non-sport with no motion, passing, defense, athleticism....it's everything interesting taken out of the game. And yet half the game is spent shooting free throws. So it sucks to watch.And the issue is compounded by the bonus making teams shoot even MORE free throws, and the six-foul limit forcing players out of games every time a couple cheesy calls go against them. And that's not to mention the worst aspect of all which is that refs can essentially give unlimited points to either team on a whim and make specific players either sit out or play nonexistent defense by getting in early foul trouble. It's a recipe for corruption.
