For me it is 3 things:- the new format. It was already impossible to have 32 decent NTs. 48 will be a shitshow.- the hosts. Not only it is terrible to have 3 hosts, but two of them don't care about the sport. USA would rather watch: a spreadsheet of random numbers simulator (baseball), a competition where the opponent team never defends (NBA) and 3 hours of ads and 15 minutes of action (handegg) than Footy. Canada is a country whose whole identity revolves around reacting to what the US is doing.- lack of "generational" players. I grew up with Ronaldo (R9), then Ronaldinho and soon after him there was Messi. There is no one who can succeed them right now.
