MAULED BY THE TIGERSGREEN STREET IN TEARS
>>154628555tbf i thought millwall was a fictional club for years
>>154628555Just like in Roman times the Tiger always beats the Lion
>>154628555>cringey 4chan /pol/tards can't bandwagon the bizarro St Pauli in the EPL based
>>154628746Met Police absolutely relieved
english people naming their club after tigers without ever seeing one
>>154628555Congrats. Hull kind of remind me of >Schalke, seems like soulful blue collar fans having funThat being said, I gotta say that I find the English playoff stuff a bit flawed. Millwall scored 10 points more than Hull across a whole season, they were stronger all in all. Now they had to risk all of that in a single game that not only randomizes things but also rewards late-season shape only. I'd be fuming if that happened to my club, I'm sure everyone would. 10 points actually seem like a somewhat small gap this time aroundOur approach is also not perfect, of course. We have the third-to-last of the upper league play against the third-best of the lower league. Generally, I think that is more fair, but it is beginning to look increasingly ridiculous since the financial gap between leagues makes the quality differ more and more
>>154628746Being a lefty is a mental illness, lad.
>>154628746>he doesn’t know Hull is objectively the chudpilled squad in the world Check out this maricon
>>154628746Are Millwall really disgusting enough to be compared with St Pauli? That seems like a stark insult
MAULED BY THE TIGERS
>>154628791We had lions and tigers in the royal menagerie under Elizabethan times before your non-country even existed m8
>>154628864Yes
>>154628885We had them as early as the early 1800s in sideshows and various menageries and proto-zoos. I would suspect by then tigers would be borderline endemic in the British isles.
>>154628822You also have to give into account Millwall got the advantage of facing the weakest team of the play-offs by being placed highest, compared to Southampton and Middlesbrough facing each other in tougher competition.
I love this stupid fucking football club
>>154629293I know. That's the least they can do. But you play a full season, 46 games in this case, to determine who is the strongest. Anything can happen in a single game, especially if both teams already have had 50 games or so in total and are therefore fatigued towards the season's end. But across an entire season, it's usually the stronger team that ends up third. Injuries, ref fuckups, bad luck - it tends to even out across a full seasonMy club once finished fourth in the 2nd tier, one point behind the club in third, the one who went to the promotion playoff against the 16th of the Bundesliga. I still couldn't complain. We were worse than them. Of course, it is somewhat arbitrary. You could also have 10 teams get promoted in theory, whatever. But I think a league format is the best for determining the best all in all, so I'm not a huge fan of another playoff between participants of that league. That being said, I don't doubt it is very entertaining
