meanwhile, doncic has still won more playoff games getting carried by the mavericks' defense than he has taking up anthony davis' street clothes mantle and the lakers just lost james, reaves and probably hachimura because SGA got to take some late free throws again.

Nah they haven't. Reaves has a player option, which he'll definitely opt out of to get paid. James isn't going anywhere because all the money is in LA. He's not leaving all that business/money/deals behind to leave unless he can go somewhere where is he 100% certain to be playing for a ring...which that isn't happening unless he signs for the minimum or some shit which would fuck the CBA and set a bad precedent so that's not happening either. Realistically, Hachimura is the only person in actual danger of leaving but he's one of a very few valuable assets they have, so they'll just probably pay to keep him unless someone throws a bag.
