I‘d also wouldn’t use Seeler as a winger. He could do that, he was a surprisingly good playmaker as well. But having him combine with Müller up front? I actually think this duo in their prime is about as stacked as it gets. Müller is the best ever in the box, and Seeler could score from anywhere and in any position, including long range. Have him fall a bit back so that he can set up Müller … hard to picture a better offense. Seeler was a fucking monster that flies under the radar today. Appearance-wise, he looks like a clown compared to today’s players, but he was also underestimated during his actual career - and then he smoked everyone

Neither Seeler nor Müller were slow. Müller didn’t have amazing top speed, but his acceleration was elite. Seeler was among the fastest players of his era. And he was good at passing as well, as can be seen in various games when his sidekicks (primarily Charly Dörfel) were unavailable and he had to play a bit further back. Think of Hamburg vs Santos in 1962. And Walter? He was a great playmaker
