Thanks to Messi, now the MLS worth more than the Ligue 1 from France
Eresisters........
Could someone who is mockingly called Pissi, Missi, Missoy, Riggi, NIGGITINI, Cuckitini, Dicksuckitini, the garden gnome goblin midget etc etc truly be considered a great athlete, a goat even? He's had no lasting impact obviously and is nothing but a lol cow to be mocked and ridiculed. I can't even recall the last time I heard his "true" name. He IS Pissi Cuckitni for all intents and purposes. And his so called wife, Antonella, is the greatest whore in human history.
Wasn't the MLS always in that range ?? I thought it generated more revenue because it's a closed system and they have like 32 teams as opposed to 18-20 like most euro leauges
>>154662496Woah
>>154662648Pretty much. MLS, like all American Institutions built by a mix of New Yorkers and Californians is built to make money. People don't understand how important profitability is to these organizations. The Vancouver Whitecaps have perfectly good attendance, a devoted fanbase and still may move to Las Vegas because they don't own their stadium, therefore they are seen as less valuable.
>>154662117Funnily enough, MLS surely will be in 2nd place relatively soon. >30 teams, closed league, focus real estate ownership ... even if the league remains comparable to the 2nd Bundesliga in quality
>>154663150Is it really 2nd tier quality still? Was watching a Championshit/PL promotion game and it genuinely looked lower quality than MlelS. Not saying it’s decisively big 4 quality bc it’s not, but it isn’t that bad anymore, at least starting XI wise. Depth quality sucks bc of salary caps of course, but now their academies are actually consistently producing decent talent for American standards (low bar, but we had jack shit 20 years ago). Never watched 2 Bundesliga so idk.
>>154662117I can attest to this, in my moment of financial weakness I bought an AppleTV subscription to watch MLS games. And the level of football while isn't as good as Europe its free flowing and entertaining far better than watching Nantes vs Brest mull out a 0-0. Theres no haramball and its just teams attacking and attacking. Its still gonna be memed because Europeans can't imagine a world were free flowing football, a free for league where any team can win the league is real thing. They'd rather watch their farmers league or Bayern or Inter keep winning the league its farcicical its to be laughed at
>>154663443Shut up Pissilover
>>154663132Most American pro teams don't own their stadiums but it doesn't devalue the team at all, in fact owners see it as a benefit because they can threaten to relocate for a new stadium. Is the MLS different? I thought their stadiums were publicly financed too.
>>154663308Hard to compare, of course But looking at what players I know are succeeding there, I find it hard to compare it with a top league. The best 2nd tiers are better than many first tiers of other nations. So it’s definitely not bad. I agree the league has improved in recent years, though. I think the salary cap makes it fairly balanced, so I would have guessed the worst MLS teams are better than the worst elite 2nd tier teams. But the peak? That seems far-fetched to me
>>154663132so they will move and rename themselves? is it even the same club at that point
>>154662117>>154663132>>154663443fake newshere is the ranking by player market valuesnobody gives a shit how expensive your stadium hotdogs are
>>154663132>>154662648NoBefore Messi the MLS worthed less than the Brasileirão
>>154667622What is even the table representing? Is it market value or revenue generation ?
