Besides, a CB/DM usually is older and used to have unused subs in 23 men squads. 3 extra spots in 26 men squads and one was given to a player that's well-suited to a mentor role and won't be sulking when he doesn't play a minute.There were lots of better DMs but went with a more gradual overhaul. It's RB were options were scarce. Meunier doing alright in LOSC but Castagne not so much. Brugge's kid got injured. If needed some of the lefties can play on the right.All in all Belgium won't do much in WC26. Very young defense that gets to gain experience. KDB already said WC26 won't be his last trny as long as he can keep up his level. Promising midfielders in the pipeline. Attack is starting to come together and even more talents waiting in the wings. Maybe Belgium will be back soon, WC26 is a bit early.
Doku and Trossard could destroy some weaker defences if kdb can pass some killer balls to them, and if they're not forced to feed Lukaku. Beaten easily by any of the better teams
