Ok so to be honest I think it’s a good thing to have a team in Melbourne despite the cheating. By now we should have seen more juniors coming through and thriving local Victorian competitions, possibly a Victorian state league. Kids throughout the state should be able to access junior footy. It’s my opinion that the NRL should force whatever the Storm corporation is called to sell the controlling stake to the Victorian Rugby League, they can borrow the funds from the NRL interest free of course, and then the profits can be invested properly into a grassroots approach.
