I stopped watching the NHL for years after news about the world junior team broke in 2022. It really sucks that the year I started to watch again he is back. >! Every time a teammate celebrates with him, a commentator praises him, or the fans cheer for him, all I can think is that that he was accused of a violent gang rape and no one cares. Honestly as someone who reported a guy for assault and essentially watched him get away with it with close to zero repercussions, there is something so disheartening about seeing Hart make it to the WCF and potentially to the SCF. He is a good goalie, I don't disagree but I also know there's atleast a dozen other women like me who are seeing his success and realizing that the only people who pay the price for being assaulted are the victims.Edit: My bad for calling Hart a rapist guys.
