Unlike everything else in cycling you can't be great at TT on pure watts alone. Pogacar for example said he dislikes TT but has to work extra hard on it just to stay competitive.

So unless you're 50kg if you're not at least average in TTs you're just lazy and don't want to train on the TT bike.

>>
>>154938302
But he did have good TTs in the past. Visma used to be good at TTT as well. I get the 'flat TT' cope, but to me it seems like something with their material is fundamentally off. When was the last time a Visma rider had a decent performance in a TT in the last 2 years?

I think Affini had a decent one last year in the Tour.

But I agree that these days you see wild performance swings in TT due to setup. It's the same with UAE where some years they look unstoppable and others it seems like they're underperforming every TT. Even this year they're looking a bit iffy in TTs. You'd expect Vine and McNulty to have have farmed 3 or 4 TT wins by this point of the season.

As long as it's not a measuring error then its really their own fault. Just go slightly above 6.8kg and dont worry about it. If they let it slip then everyone will shave off a few 10's of grams and if they end up being under they just say it was a small mistake "who cares?".

Is it on a splined bottom bracket, like an FSA power drive or an octolink?
Most likely scenario is that your bb is rounding out the matching connector on your crank arm.
This is normal on older systems since the bb spindle is usually made of a harder metal than the crank arm receiver.
You'll probably need to replace the drive side crank arm (and rings) but as long as you aren't running something high end should be a cheap fix.

I've yet to see any evidence of this supposed "motopacing" other than a bunch of whiny sprinters saying "we asked our team to pull really really hard and we didn't win, the other guys were obviously cheating"

We have so much motor pacing in this sport and the retards jump on one of the few times where it wasn't an issue. People like that should be put down.

No.
As long as they make the WC's winnable he's going to keep skipping the Vuelta.
>>
>>154951381
most likely not
>>
I found the giro not memorable unfortunately. I don't think anything stood out that I'll think back on

Imagine Fishboy winning the tour this year, so next year they both ride the Giro as prep.

Turns out Italy and Italians are fake things invented 200 years ago.

>>154950741
Why does every single car these days look the same? It's all some suv-kind off shit.
Cars used to have soul.
>>
>>154951417
And still not even close to the worst Giro in recent time. The coverage was surpricingly good for RAI. Just a little imprecise timing here and there.

>Shame about the insane crowds of tourists tough.
Says the tourist
>>
Vingegaard is now the reigning winner of Vuelta, Giro, 8 GT stages, P-N, Catalunya, and reigning 2nd of TdF, 6 GT stages, and Dauphine. I think this will be the maximum UCI points he ever achieves.
>>
>>154951434

>>
>>154951508
? UCI points are awarded to the cyclists based upon there performance in the most recent edition of a race. Once Dauohibe finishes he will lose the points gained by coming in 2nd in 2025. The only way I am wrong, is if he wins the Tour this year.

This WC is more or less tailor made for pogi.
I'm hoping Sexass at least follows him on the first attack over the mont.
The circuit at least will make for great in-person viewing.
