I once watched a british tv show from the 70s where they had a tennis court in the woods behind the house and they needed to mow the lawn first before they played every time because it had grown so much since last time. Also, it was always raining or at least moist so they rarely played.
These are the only conditions playing on grass is reasonable.
Play at 34Degrees in the bright sun is not a grass court setting
