Well you know, sometimes VAR can be used and other times it can't.

Simple as.

Ps. Fuck football, football sucks
>>
>cam of god

The odds are low but they're never zero. Camera cable interference has fucked with games before. The older cameras required MORE cables to stay above the field.

That’s why they orchestrated the Trump call. They wanted the US(no shot of winning anything) to be the “riggers” of the world’s “beautiful game”. In reality the rigging is built into the sport since it’s foundation and has nothing to do with us or Trump.

that's not how it works. the rematch is only an option if the referee sees something but punishes it in an unorthodox way (for example awarding a penalty instead of a corner, or something equally daft)

The ball hits in the part of the shot where it's engulfed in video compression and shit. This game was filmed in 4k so where the fuck is the conclusive video evidence from FIFA that it didn't hit anything? Should be easy enough to produce but instead they give us the dream graph and blurry blairwitch project shit.

To address the flag we lost and probably would have even without this goal but how can they not have actual high def imagery of this?
>>

English are currently blind due to the outcome of the game, but yeah it hit the cable. This will not change anything though. The game is over.

It feels like a fever dream. Even the Qatar World Cup felt more like a World Cup than this one. This one has had some great moments and the fans seem to have loved being there, but it just hasn't really felt like a normal tournament, more like a manufactured progression towards a saleable, big-name ending (France, Spain, Argentina, England, etc in the final stages)
>>
>>156652125
Yep

Infantino was seen pressing a big red button on his desk which signalled all the players to get in position

Norwegian players also didn't stop it going in on purpose
>>
has their keeper tried NOT kicking the ball at the cables? nobody forced him to do it
>>
this is more fifa covering their own arse because they can't deal with another controversy in this tournament. why would it be rigged in england's favour if it's argentina next
>>
>>156651813
No, the ball would spin the whole time. It wouldn't just start spinning mid air. You're thinking of a knuckleball, which changes trajectory in unpredictable ways, but that type of trajectory has no spin period, clearly that's not what happened. The keeper didn't strike it hard enough nor straight enough for it to be a knuckleball.

You can clearly see the moment the ball hits something and goes down like a dead bird. Norway lost their concentration because they expected the game to stop and that cost them the goal. The whole game was like this. Not necessarily rigged but ref's poor decisions were working in England's favor the entire game. One of my favorite moments is when Jude kicked Norwegian player in the balls, dove like a bitch and the Norwegian got fouled instead of Norway getting a penalty against England. Absolute joke of a game. And to top it off Norwegian team decided they're going to be divas today and everyone tried to be the star of the game, except they don't have the talent for it, and no one passed to the one guy on their team who does have it.

When viewed from behind, the further the ball gets from the camera the straighter the drop will appear to be. Combined with the white background camouflaging the ball for a few seconds, the drop appears to be much more sudden than it actually was.

ABEism has gotten so bad that they literally have to imagine the ball hitting an invisible wire nobody can see and when the sensor confirms that this never happened they triple down on it.

It's not even a phenomenon based on observable reality at this point, its become pure blind faith on the level of an African's believe in pagan voodoo Gods.
Can you see the wire? Well, no.
Can you see it hit the wire? Well, no.
Does the in-built sensor detect the ball hitting the wire? Again, no.
But it has to have hit an invisible wire because if it didn't then that means England won.

This is literal, undeniable, stark mental illness.

You can't see the wire in the footage, you can't see the ball hitting a wire in the footage, and FIFA's response was bafflement at wondering why people have said this when it clearly didn't happen.
They are literally imagining an invisible god-like force that would have rendered England's goal invalid. That's how desperate they have gotten.

You're assuming that the backspin was perfectly straight, the spin might be slightly angled, and the spin affects the flight of the ball the most after the apex, hence why it is called a drop ball. If there is a slight angle on the spin then it will also move that way slightly just like and spinning wall would. This is known in tennis but I guess that is a white man's sport so the average IQ is higher.
