J-League is a comparable league in terms of sporting level despite the nips spending a fraction in their league.

The fans and commentary are embarrassing. The whole franchise jewish thing is abhorrent. The quality is awful. But what the MLS does well, is they generally play football in the spirit of the game. They are just about vulnerable enough in defence, and talented enough in attack, to make it somewhat watchable. Teams generally try to win rather than avoid defeat. They should keep that up. If they shift towards "Lets become technical, tactical, stay compact, defend" it will be absolute dog shit unwatchable.
