1) More English clubs (four) had won the European Cup prior to the formation of the Premier League than have ever won it from any other nation.

2) English clubs hold the record for the most successive wins by teams from one nation, Liverpool, Villa and Forest sharing six titles between 1977 and 1982.

3) No French club has ever won a major European trophy with an all-French team

4) No Spanish club has ever won a major European trophy with an all-Spanish team

The Fairs Cup isn't a real trophy anyway. Leeds and Newcastle think it matters because it hides the fact that Ipswich, West Ham, Aberdeen and Magdeburg have richer histories of winning European trophies. Barcelona also love to mention it as it disguises the fact they were of little importance in European football prior to the mid-90s

sister works in DWP and the amount of claimants for anxiety, depression and autism have skyrocketed. Vast majority are 'kids with autism' that parents are claiming for a few extra hundred quid a month to spend on fags and booze and sky sports. Very few actual kids with autism (i.e, crippling) get the money spent on them directly or even indirectly.

>we should have some bored state owner who wants to play FM with cheats IRL be allowed to spend billions on our club with inflated fees and wages because.... because... WE JUST SHOULD, OK????
I'm not seeing a single article about Villa planning to build a new 80,000 seater stadium that can host concerts, NFL games, has a cinema, go-kart track and so on all to massively increase their revenue. United get about £7.5m per CL game in match day alone, Arsenal get £5m (no idea if this is CL or not, since CL games get more). Meanwhile Villa get £2m for CL. If Villa doubled their stadium size to 86,000 they'd double their income and the stadium cost isn't counted in their shit. They could build state of the art training centres and youth centres and rent it out to local councils or businesses, they could build hotels, attach to the club and get income from that. Loads of ways to increase their income. In 10 years they'll likely have similar incomes to the big boys and can use that power. But people like you and Gabby Agbonlahor want to be able to spend £1bn right now on players and not have to earn it. Arsenal took 6 years of spending and selling to get a title winning team and that was with good income. Gabby and you don't want to do it in 6 years, you want to do it in 1 or 2. You want your billionaire owners (or state owners) to drop £2bn per window buying the best in the world and trying to get in there (ignoring Chelsea have done this and have finished highest of 4th under such ownership iirc).

Same with Newcastle. Even Arsenal (again, a team with a small stadium that expanded) are trying to increase their stadium to 70,000 or something just for the extra income. United want to build like 120,000 seater or some shit which would give them like £15m per CL game.
