When you have the next potential GOAT and the potential to get a ring every season it comes with a ton of unpleasant pressure. Every game you lose, even in the regular season, is a national humiliation ritual that you never live down, as you can see with the week 1 Lions W poster and the Jaguars webm poster. And that's ratcheted up even more in the playoffs. Losses in the 'offs are harder to take as well because you KNOW you can win the owl any year, unlike a team that's mostly just hoping like the Bills or Chargers, so when you lose it's like FUCK, that was another ring, we're running out of time. Whereas the Jaguars would be like eh, we're building something at least, you never know what the future holds.I will say it was really the first few super bowls that were really stressful, now that we've gotten those rings and established a dynasty it's a little easier to breathe. We still want to make history, maybe be the first franchise to 7 rings and see Mahomes become as great as possible, but it's less of a pressure situation now and more of a cherry on top. But if we had lost more than one of those first few owls it would have been a disaster, imagine Mahomes having a losing record in the owl.
