The Sunday comic for March 19th, 2023 was briefly uploaded to the site a week before it was taken offline, but was removed soon thereafter. Image file is thread's opening picture.

Are there other torrents like this? Entire torrents of old comic strips?

Finally, no "le reddit" comments. Don't care the pieces of shit are different that the pieces of shit that are here, backed up things and information is welcomed regardless of the source.

Did Dilbert get cancelled? Has Scott Adams been cancelled?
>>
>>1217018
He just relaunched Dilbert as a webcomic last week
>>

>lost and censored media
>dilbert

My good culture warrior, there's literally THIRTY YEARS of Dilbert books out there. Unless someone goes into every bookshop, library and house in the world and sets every last copy of The Dilbert Principle on fire, this isn't lost or censored.

I know you're desperate to find martyrs to throw on the Pyre of Cancellation, but be honest with yourself for five fucking seconds.
>>
>>1214861
Why would anyone intentionally read Dilbert? It's the most mediocre newspaper comic. I wouldn't force that strip on even my worst enemies.
>>
>>1217047
I don't know but that TV show was pretty good for a while there.
>>
>>1217456
Is there a torrent for Dilbert TV show?

>Did Dilbert get cancelled? Has Scott Adams been cancelled?

Yes, very recently.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2023/02/25/scott-adams-dilbert-canceled/

>Newspapers across the United States have pulled Scott Adams’s long-running “Dilbert” comic strip after the cartoonist called Black Americans a “hate group” and said White people should “get the hell away from” them.

>The Washington Post, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and the USA Today network of hundreds of newspapers were among publications that announced they would stop publishing “Dilbert” after Adams’s racist rant on YouTube on Wednesday. Asked on Saturday how many newspapers still carried the strip — a workplace satire he created in 1989 — Adams told The Post: “By Monday, around zero.”
>>
>>1217471
yes, it's... fine. I guess. Not really worth tracking down IMHO.
>>

It's worth a watch, in my opinion. Not amazing, but pretty funny.

If there any Maximum Exposure fans from the early 2000s hanging around, I managed to scrape together the entire series and throw it on Archive.org
Some of the episodes have an awful watermark from the original uploader, but I cleaned up the audio the best I could

I tried to get the archive out of the university of ohio of Sherman on the Mount.
The department that will scan it for you says that they need persmissions of the copyright holder for high rez scans.
I emailed the LA times copyright detp without response.
I have not yet asked the university for the scans but I may yet.
It's a press or media package of some type I really don't know what is in it.
That may be a way to get what you are looking for.

Nah, this isn't anything to do with /co/, this is a bunch of /pol/ assclowns getting the Big Mad because a comic no one's read in 30 years got shut down. They care about the fact that he hates the same people they do, so they've got a ready-made martyr they can bring out whenever they feel scared or threatened. It's really no deeper or significant than that.

>>

>What would they have removed?

https://decider.com/2023/06/07/the-french-connection-censored-criterion-channel/

For those who dont remember a LOT of those 70's films were loaded with casual racism. It made the characters seem more real. Just like violence in real life, I dont approve of racism in real life. But it does happen, and you cannot censor real life, so I do not understand censoring a movie unless you think you will make MORE money somehow. Not sure what Disney's plan is, but I'm not surprised they did it. When they bought out 20th Century Fox I knew some bad shit was gonna happen.
>>
>>1252116
Criterion did it?! Fucking seriously?!
>>
>>1252220
No, the Disney company did it. Criterion apparently run some kind of streaming service and the master they used was licensed from Disney which is the new censored version.
>>
>>1252330
That's not how Criterion is supposed to work.
>>
>>1252339
Criterion's literally just a distributor. They don't own or make any of the films they release, they have to work with the things they're given. If they want to have, just purely for example, Titanic on their channel, but they receive a version with all the nudity removed and a few other cuts here and there, with no chance of having the uncut version, it's up to them if they choose to use that.
>>
>>1252404
>They don't own or make any of the films they release
The specifically go out of their way to get the best prints and conversions and do director commentary and other enrichments.
It's why they can command 2x or 3x prices for their media.
For them to turn to a mutilated cut is jawdropping.
>>
>>1252489
It's just goycattle streaming shit. I'm sure they wouldn't approve a censored version if they were doing a physical release.
>>
>>1251428
>>1217047
if you've had a job where your boss was a 50 year old loser who still forwarded you emails about spermjacking and killary, you'll at least appreciate the mindset of where these comics come from
>>

"Canceling" isn't real. He faced repercussions for his words and actions like anyone else.
>>
>>1252489
Yeah, and if they're told 'this is all we're giving you, take it or leave it', that's their choice to make. That's how these things work, they can't just bypass the distributor and upload a copy they bought off ebay
>>
>>1252695
No, dude, Free Speech is when I can say whatever I want with no limits or pushback, but if you tell me I can't say 'all trannies should just kill themselves' I get you banned because anything else is unfair.

Amir Shervan made many films and some of them are seriously hard to find these days.

Young Rebels is probably worse than Samurai Cop or Hollywood Cop. Its not any better than Killing American Style. But if you ran out of shit to watch, its pretty good.

Happiness (1998)

This movie was never released in HD. Everything you see claiming 1080 or 720 is just an upscaled DVD, which your media player can probably do on its own anyway. It wasn't popular at the time but some critics loved it. Also helped the careers of people like Philip Seymour Hoffman. This version is ripped from a DVD I got from Netflix several years ago.

>>
>>1271290
well you can look it up on google or whatever but mostly its a few scenes where Popeye says "nigger" or something like that. Whenever Disney buys another studio (too often an occurrence these days), they have been known to censor or change things to be more family friendly. Now for those of us who already know about The French Connection, that seems like a pointless endeavor. One of these days we really gotta bring that company down.
>>
>>1271316
Yeah, bring down one of the biggest corporations in the world, sure, get right on that, buddy, the boycotts against Nike, Budweiser, Target and all the others worked so well, I'm sure no one's ever bought any of their products since.

Besides, hasn't the so-called 'protest' against Disney been going on for more than a decade? I remember fucking Bill O'Rilley calling for them to be brought down, and when was the last time he was remotely relevant?

Uhh, none of the boycotts have been more than a blip on a report for part of one year and most of them went on to report record profits in the years since. And even ignoring that, none of the companies you may care to mention that have received calls for boycotts in the last decade have changed their practices or direction in the slightest - you know, the things boycotts are supposed to achieve? But good job believing that you're achieving things by buying a different Anheuser-Busch-owned pisswater to the swill you usually drink!

Oceangate took down all of their videos.
Most of it is just footage from underwater, but there's a good video about how they built their submarines. And the explorers' club lecture has a few moments that are embarrassing in hindsight.

F Troop is a satirical American television Western sitcom about U.S. soldiers and American Indians in the Wild West during the 1860s. The humor in it is not politically correct and therefore is not shown on regular tv channels.

Every major newspaper comic is mediocre, mostly repeating the same formulaic jokes ad nauseum to inoffensively appeal to the widest possible audience. Garfield is a prime example where the author, consistently rejected on more creative ideas, created essentially a phone-in algorithmic comic based on what was phenomenally popular (Snoopy being the most popular character in the most popular comic). Sure enough, he eclipses everyone in his IP value.

There are notable exceptions in the US, like C&H, Farside, Boondocks (which came much later), ... but even these use fomulaic gags much of the week for every truly remarkable piece.

Dilbert over decades is still funny because it's the same rotation of maybe 100 or less jokes that sure enough, have been funny as long as capitalism has existed.

>bunch of nonsensical opinions, conspiracy and hyperbole
>"I can't argue with those facts"
Not even the person you're replying to but - Talk about delusional.

The reality is, Dilbert is a product on the free market. And every publisher of newspaper has a choice what comics they will pick up and license. If the author of the comic attracts negative attention to anyone publishing it, the comic being dropped is just free market at works.

That's what you MAGA nuts don't understand, free speech doesn't mean everyone - especially commercial enterprises - has obligation to platform you. And as you're being slowly relegated to self-made trash platforms like Truth Social and Rumble, you slowly realize that majority of society wants nothing to do with you:

Not because society is run by leftist SJW types. But because people in charge of these platforms like to make money, and your views are unprofitable because they're repulsive to average person.

>>1281259
>>1294793
Cool, I'm gonna seed that.
>>
>>1297298
>majority of society wants nothing to do with you
True, but what you fail to admit is that the majority of society also wants nothing to do with leftie extremists either.
>repulsive to average person
This however is bullshit, as you should well know. The average person - and this includes you, ESL-kun - is exclusionary as hell. The content is not really at issue, though that's of course the excuse. De-platforming is a method of silencing your political enemies, simple as.
>>
>>1297429
Problem is, the kind of 'leftie extremists' you and the e-celebs you love so much like to endlessly fearmonger about simply don't exist. Wanna know how I know? Fox News is still on the air. Newsmax is still on the air. Tucker Carlson is still breathing. Alex Jones is still alive, Ben Shapiro is still alive, Nick Fuentes is still alive, the list goes on and on and on. If the Left was anywhere near as bad as you love to complain, there would be a smoldering crater where Trump Tower stands.

And as much as you wanna ratchet society back about 50 years, people are getting more progressive, more open and more inclusive. That's a fact.

ftfy
The left fucked up and pushed the boundaries too far. Moderates and the right tolerated feminism, progressive policies, the gay slippery slope, but as predicted by anyone with open eyes, you faggots couldn't leave well enough alone and want to push the west into Weimar era degeneracy and going after our children. You've turned our justice system into a mockery of even a banana republic. You could have let things lie and stuck to your crowd, but you're compelled to completely wipe out normal society. That was your downfall in the 1930s, and it will be again. America wasn't aware of the big picture yet, they are now. Hopefully these tolerance mistakes won't be repeated again.

Can't refute a single point, so fire up the projector instead? We all see what you did there, turd - an entire post based on absolutely nothing except your own fantasies. Also, thanks for
>Fox News is on the air, therefore leftist extremism doesn't exist
Your "logic" here gave me a hearty chuckle indeed. Indeed!

See how that works?

Yeah, thank god you're all a bunch of pussy-ass keyboard warriors or the long, long history of right-wing bombings, arson attacks, shootings and assorted shenanigans would be worse! Thanks for being abject cowards, your ability to confuse 'owning the libs' with anything worthwhile has saved us from countless Oklahoma Cities!

Name some then. I mean, off the top of my head, I can call out Timmy McVeigh, the long history of abortion clinic assassinations, arson attacks and bomb threats in the 90s and 00s, Dyllan Roof, the Pulse nightclub shooting and Charlottesville. Just to name a couple. If it's as widespread as you love to claim, you should be able to drop names and dates like its no big deal. So do it.

Bonus points if you can do it without resorting to the whole 'Jan 6 was Antifa' narrative, unless you wanna explain to me how people like Stewart Rhodes, Enrique Tarrio and Ashli Babbit were long-time antifa sleeper agents who were so good at their jobs, they not only made everyone look like retards, they got lengthy prison sentences or got shot for their troubles.

>Then - according to you - there is no such thing as free speech. Congratulations, you're an idiot.
Freedom of Speech does not mean freedom from consequences. You say stupid shit people don't like, people have the freedom to tell you to fuck off and no longer want to do business with you.

Wronger
Freedom of Speech with regard to the relationship between individuals/organizations and the government exactly means freedom from consequences, with certain well-recognized exceptions. Freedom of Speech with regard to the relationship between individuals/organizations and other individuals/organizations means the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation or censorship. Retaliation and censorship - nowadays in the forms of loss of livelihood, de-platforming, threats of violence, etc., etc. - are certainly consequences; wherever on the political spectrum they arise from, their effect is to abrogate this universally understood basic right. Those that support the denial of this right - you two are very much included in this list - support a groupthink dictatorship that can and does mercilessly punish dissenting opinions.
