Dudes, what do I need for sneaks for DZ-BT01? I haven't even bought a DZ trial deck yet... (hopefully my shop is selling them).
>>92641795Do people actually play in Sneaks unironically? Pretty much all the LGSs just sell the kits to whoever wants them here.
Rewatching OG series and you really do realize that Misaki hard carried Q4 to their first run of nats. Kai was just lazy and never cardfight. Aichi sucks and Kamui drops his spaghetti mid fight.
>>92641757>LightConditionless heal on drive check>DarkConditionless damage on drive check
>>92641795If you want to play sneak peek format, you need a G0 starter (you'll prob get one in your pulls), 9 vanilla Triggers(2 Heals max and discuss with your locals if OT is banned or not), and 30 sleeves since the main deck + ride deck is 30 cards total. You go to 4 damage as well instead of 6.For set 1 and going onwards, I would hope you get the Energy Crest since most of the commons need it to function but discuss with your locals if you are going to use them. My locals is using the Energy Crest since it'll be more fun that way.If you want some tips, almost always go 2nd and try to rush them down with G1/2s. Fronts over Draws imo since you could deck out with the smaller deck size and Fronts are actually really good defensively in this format. Look for 2 of the same G3 for your rideline so you can potentially Persona Ride and you just win if you resolve 1 Persona Ride. At the end of the day, don't take it too seriously. If someone pulls an incredibly good generic G3 Van, then they prob just win the whole thing but it could be fun to just see if you can crit sack them out of winning the sneak acks

Why isn't the energy counter card on TCGPlayer?
>>92648566Because for some reason the Counter isn't counted as "a card from the deck" per se and you are expected to use the Energy cards from the sets anyway.
I just want the lyrical reveals. Nothing else matters. Daiyusha can go die with the jews.

Can they put keter in their own boosters already? Most lame nation by far. Rezeal is just a reject Neos too minus the ass shots
>>92649790>Most lame nation>Keter SanctuaryMost lame nation is Dragon Empire. Everythings a slurry mess of red and its mechanics are all over the damn place with their bosses being very selfish in what they can play which cucks their freedom.
>>92649790Finally something I can agree with. They literally can't do anything creative with Keter.>>92651030Dragon Empire has Tachikaze, only reason it's not the lamest
I love how when Kamui and Misaki showed up as store clerks in G it was exciting and fulfilling. And then when Megumi does it, they're just like "look, this bitch is here. She doesn't even need to be here because she's a dumb rich girl" and she's like "ok bye" and that's it. It's like the show is actively aware how useless Megumi is.
>>92651820I bet old characters will barely return because they realized nobody gives a fuck about most of overdress cast.
>>92651551>>92651030Dragon empire has no generic rideline. The closest is the bav one but its just an overglorified engine for discard fodder.
>>92648533She only reached adulthood due to her strong will to live to win the fated clash and help Akina live, if not, she would've succumbed to the illness and died. That's my headcanon anyways
>>92652400You just need to mix two ride lines to get a generic one, grade 1 Virgila and grade 2 Shojodoji. Every dragon empire deck is using Stealth Fiend, Shenryi, and most likely other "stealth" units as well, so grade 2 Shojodoji is basically generic.
Does anyone here still play Buddyfight? I decided to try it when it officially died off, but I still haven't finished either of the decks I've been building to give it a go. Probably going to finish them off soon so I can try the game.I watched the first series of the anime and it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life.

My buddy at the gamestore convinced me to buy into Weiss Schwarz. I've never played it before. I bought two of the Spy x Family starter decks to smoosh them together into a deck that's okay enough for locals. I opened the Assassin, Yor Special Rare card that is apparently really hype. Additional Effect - Draw up to one card for every two of your opponent's open (RC) and (GC). Then, retire all of your opponent's rear-guards and guardians.
Additional Effect - Choose up to one card in your damage zone, add that card to your hand, choose up to one unit card in your hand, call it to (RC), and that unit gets PWR +10000 until end of turn.

>>92661120Blanking Sentinel doesn't actually do anything unless you get to negate the "cannot be hit" effect like OG Daikaiser / Linka.
>>92657833Ive never seen that happen but if you cant do back to back 23k minimum power attacks then yeah Androld would probably fuck you up. >>92661183>bounce the thingIve been seeing too many Yuikas lately. It would retire it and do nothing to stop the cannot be hit part. Still really trash though. Regardless of draw youd be better off just using the other cray OT that gives another 100million
Now that we know all the cards in Festival Booster 2024, would people actually use the new version of Sanctitude or Radiant Caliburn (Draw 2 or "SC1 and CC1")?
>>92661438The new Sanctitude will probably be used by people using dragontree (all 3 of them) and grade 4 decks. The second is probably gonna be run in almost any CB intensive deck.
>>92661090Seem kind of mid, at least at first glance. You would think it's really strong until you remember that sentinels don't need to be in the guardian circle for their effects to be active. Not only that, most retire heavy decks are in clans with a stronger nation trigger. Seems like a very niche overtrigger. The fact I would rather run Olbaria than him in all of my decks except 1 speaks volumes.
>>92661102This one is really good, It can be useful for more defensive decks like Siana and Arnold along with CB heavy decks since it could be used to heal a face-down damage, not only that, you can gain an extra attack.

>>92661120>>92663505>>92666061I think it could be alright in Premium where there's still a lot of Axel spam if you can main phase retire there's a chance to get 4+ draws
>>92672707>Opponent>Doesn't PG vanguard most of the timeAre we playing the same game? Here is how the average turn would actually go:>Opponents PG vanguard and has 3 or 6 rearsLight trigger:>Draw 1 or 2 cards, retire rear guards and 100million to 1 rearOlbaria: >Draw 1 card, 100million to 2 rearsIf we apply this to Rezael for example:>Activate Divine Skill attacks>Enemy PGsLight Trigger:>Draw, retire, 100milion to rearsOlbaria:>Draw, 100million to 2 rearsThen you have the remaining 2 drives to make one of these rears a must guard with a critical and another one which will be a must hit depending on the number of pgs the opponent has and their damage. That's not even discussing all the decks where you will retire their rearguard and they will go "Oh no, anyways" like Zorga and etc...
>>92673156>Are we playing the same game?>he PGs the vanguard most of the timeAre we? Because if you're not playing against something like a hyper defensive Rezael build, a PG isn't going to come flying out of the opponent's hand every single time unless the opponent is super scared of an OT, which you generally shouldn't be unless conditions are right (low deck size, high damage and no OT seen in public zones). Or in a situation like you said with Rezael, because of course someone is going to try and use a PG against Rezael when crits are being shuffled back and triple drive is active. But in general it's not efficient use of guard to PG the VG all the time.>another one which will be a must hit depending on the number of pgs the opponent has and their damage.I already addressed that as a positive of Olbaria.>you will retire their rearguard and they will go "Oh no, anyways" like Zorga and etc...You mean just Zorga. Shiranui, Luard, everything that cares about having a board, the retire is still good against most decks. You at least really should have said Eva as something that the OT will blank against.
>>92673465>You mean just Zorga. Shiranui, LuardAlso, some a few less common deck but yes. Are you saying no one in your locals uses Zorga or Shiranui???>I already addressed that as a positive of OlbariaNo, you said the ONLY situation olbaria is good is when the opponent is in 5 damage, completely ignoring the fact an attack that perhaps could easily have been blocked ends up being an almost sure hit.>>92672707>isn't as effective in the early game, unless the opponent no guards the G1/2 VG and you have two rears, able to deal 3 damage unless the opponent decides to PG a rear, if the opponent guards the VG attack then you're forced to put one instance of the 100 million power on VG for it to break, putting it into the same damage situation as an early Meridzanblia check but without the draw/retireWhy do you say this as if no guarding the vg early game is some sort of mythical one in a life time occurrence? I do agreed that Meridzanblia is better early game but the chance of getting an over early game is significantly less than later, as you should be well aware. Not saying this isn't a good point but we should be honest.
>>92674604>Are you saying no one in your locals uses Zorga or Shiranui???Uh, what? Are you an ESL? Other than Zorga, I was saying the retire is good against those decks, Shiranui was listed as an example of what kind of decks that would be hurt by the retire.>No, you said the ONLY situation olbaria is good is when the opponent is in 5 damage, completely ignoring the fact an attack that perhaps could easily have been blocked ends up being an almost sure hit.No? I did say Olbaria is better in that early game situation if the opponent no guards and you have the rears for it so you can deal 3 damage. I didn't say it was the ONLY situation, I said it was at it's BEST. The situation you're talking about, making an attack into a sure hit, is even one that can be described about the early game 3 damage scenario.>Why do you say this as if no guarding the vg early game is some sort of mythical one in a life time occurrence? What kind of people do you even play against? If you understood the importance of early game guarding, you'd get why I put that as an example. I'm not saying no guarding is some unusual thing like you're trying to think I am. Also it was being used to address both situations, guard or no guard, for both OTs.>we should be honest. That's very funny considering the way you're acting, with all the exaggeration and such about no guarding in the early game and the opponent always having a PG.
Hey vangard friends.I'm getting roped into the game by a friend group. I heard I need the new $15 energy cards to play the game now. I also heard they're only obtainable in the new structure deck.So I figure fuck it. I'll pick one up.Only then I heard the deck is shit and no cards have effects.Only now I can buy the cards in the deck with effects from the next set.Only I also heard the deck is still shit even with the new cards. So I guess I want to ask if it's even worth it all right now. Should I just come back later when the game is more easily accessible? Because this sort of seems like bullshit right now
>>92676528Its not worth. Pick up weiss instead.
>>92676528What's your budget like? Are you hoping to get in for fun or to try and compete? If you're just playing with friends for fun, I think they would entirely understand if you bought a deck you liked and just proxied Energy Generator until you were sure you cared enough to shell out for it.

Basically, if I remember correctly, in the original standard you could use cards from series of the same side, the White Side(Weiss) and the Black side (Schwarz), but the powercreep became too much so they created neo-standard. In neo-standard you can only use cards from that specific series and mostly can't mix different ones.
>>92689424Think of it kind of like what happened with OG Vanguard when they had to intriduce the Clan restriction.
>>92689424Sounds easy to remember. Does it matterhow old the set is or is it just anything goes?
>>92689436How old doesnt matter besides the fact theres been powercreep over the years.
>>92688986>>92689034>Make a big deal about lyrical being in main set>Immediately still make them wait for their own boosters to play catch upThey should rotate out nationa each set so 1 gets its own boosters.
>>92691044>Clan Booster 2: Electric Boogaloo>Eugene will still get basically nothing in a Dragon Empire Nation Booster
>>92694044Eugene is a lost cause. Best to just forget that deck exists.
>sleeving card>it bendsMY AUTISM. At least it's only a 15¢ card. Why does this only seem to happen to Vanguard cards. I've never had any other game bend while sleeving, but I've managed to create a few commons in Vanguard...
>>92694901cool
tweakin' irlwatch out locals tho I'ma beat your ass with a colorful stage deck
>>92694044>>92694222I don't know why people complain so much about eugene when there are way worse decks
Do you guys have decks for more than one nation?
>>92696805What is worse than eugene that isn't meme shit like Shieldfisher or Mushashid? Even Baro is better.
>>92697114Baphormedes, Griphogila, Eredogrema, current Lilfa and a few others.
>>92696809Yeah, Bruce and Kheios. It's a bit annoying remembering to take out the PGs and triggers from one when I want to play the other.
Huh? Gyze's will is up and running again at the end of Divinez S1?
>>92697813>>92696809I just realized you were asking the complete opposite. My bad.
>>92694989Nice pull anon. Just wish we could get another Project Diva set instead of Colorful Stage because I don't give a shit about all the literally-whos in that game.
>these pricesFucking hell it's going to cost me over $400 to build a Rezael deck. This game has gotten way too expensive.
>>92700741lol you can buy a playset of a weiss set for much less than that
We will get a new trial deck once season 2 starts. However the divine skill version of the card will be in set 4.
Is there any brandth deck that benefits from the guard and bind set order?
>>92700741It's honestly bullshit what they did. Every other season they always make the protagonist's ace easily acquirable in a starter deck. This is the first time they put it in a booster pack.
>>92700741Laughing at you as I built Androld for under $15.
>>92697114tbf Shieldfisher is not that bad. I can win relatively consistently using it even against Varga. Shieldfisher is 100% better than Eugene.
>>92701428Non anime decks will always be cheaper unless its meta.
>>92700741>>92701948If you wanted to build Varga, it's less than half of Rezael's price, and it's as equally meta. The problem is that most of what goes into Rezael is generic, so you either picked them up when they were cheap like pre spiked Teithfallt, or you're getting them now and fighting with everybody else who plays Keter. You're even competing with people who want to run Rezael as a tech option in non-Rezael decks. You had 3 months to prepare for this.
>>92701642Post list. I love seeing dogshit like Shieldfisher, Alterslaughter and Elehireseade
>>92703529Shieldfisher is the best out of all of those. Basically the deck is only really bad against decks that attack several times with extremely huge number. Against most decks it's pretty decent not top tier just decent.
>>92705152> top tiermeant to say great
>>92703529Grade 0:Source Dragon Deity of Blessings, Blessfavor x1Serene Maiden, Lena x3Bioroid Youth, Rorowa x1Tear Knight, Costas x4Battle Siren, Dorcea x4Peppery Pepper x4Grade 1:Awakening from Slumber, Rorowa x1Elementaria Sanctitude x1Custodial Dragon x3Tear Knight, Emilios x4Mythiarq Habitat x4Blessed Rain Fairy x3Conceited Noble, Philander x4Sunbathing Dragon x4Battle Siren, Eleftheria x3Grade 2:Coffin Shooter x2The World 3000 Years Later, Rorowa x1Atrocious? Moth Girl, Maple x3Grade 3:Shieldfisher Dragon x4Just a note: I keep going back and forth on whether to run Eleftheria or Sea Rumble Brave Shooter in her place. I also am not sure about the new megacolony battler as well, so this list may change very soon
>>92699855same I kinda don't care about 90% of the cast in colorful stage. but there are a few cs only characters that I do enjoy so I don't mind. I just don't think it's possible to get a new project diva set while colorful stage is the hot thing.
is shadow verse worth it in america?
>>92705998No idea, I put it in the same boat as battle spirits
>>92706329nta, but I think the "worst" aspect of SVE in English is that the gap between it and the JP version is around an year, which probably kills whatever hype the upcoming set has because you are basically an year late>Battle SpiritsJust curious where are they starting it in English?
>>92705998Shadowverse is fun kitchen-table play but I literally don't see any stores running it in like a hundred miles radius. I'm fine with that but it does make me wonder how long the game can keep publishing in English. The US-exclusive multiplayer product Gloryfinder might find some success this summer.>>92706443Not sure what you're asking about Battle Spirits but Battle Spirits Saga (an English adaptation, not just a translation) launched last year and bombed. Like $20 box bombed. But they have a Evangeliob crossover set launching next month that might get some hype.
>>92707187FWIW, most starter sets and a lot of booster boxes in my area are very low on stock, so it must be selling pretty well. Had to ship from a gamestore in another province to get an Abysscraft starter for my friend who was interested in playing.
>be me >way back in 2015>was 16 and played Vanguard a lot with my best friend and my little brother>had a Narukami deck>brother had a Gold Paladin deck>good times, man>kinda forget about the game as the craze wears off in my area>deck starts collecting dust>flashforward to 2024>I rediscover Vanguard thanks to falling into the VTuber rabbit hole>turns out they now have Grade 4 cards>mfwVanguardbros, what the fuck happened?
>>92706329>>92707187man, it seems like bushi should focus on its main games instead of pushing new ones when the current batch is shitastic. Like seriously I have played Vanguard since the original BT01 and dropped overdress entirely. V was hella fun if you play casual and only player lower tiers. If you can afford vintage its even better.
>>92708403power creep /thread
>>92708441They can probably afford it because they have fuck-you money.
>>92708762its not a matter of affording it or not. It is a matter of having a balanced game and caring about your product
