There was appeal in Premium. But there were also several ways to defend oneself against high numbers.

Sometimes, not even your clan and just your grade 3, because you'd have 8k/10k vanillas, a 7k that could CB1 for +1k, 4 PGs, maaaaybe a Gojo clone if you had one, a superior interceptor, then a 9k that situationally hit 11k.
