Do you clean up the mold lines inbetween the miniatures' legs?
Be honest.

Why wouldn't I?

Hard to reach this shit. I usually do it anyhow, because even though nobody will see it on the table I WILL, but I can't help but doubt if it's got any point.
If you're working some space marines or whateva, then it's less of an issue due to scale and that they usually don't have joint base at the bottom, but it's annoying on sth like picrel.

no, minis are often made in molds filled with liquid plastic before solidifying. no seal is perfect and if often leaves straight raised lines of plastic across/around the model

T. Nogames and no game.

Sounds like a skill issue. You will know whether it's there and that's what counts.
>>
>>93425325
that was very nice of you anon

>>93425071
if the mini has some sort of armor on where i can plausibly claim the seam is just a part of it, i wont. otherwise i halfass it with a dremel until i can't see the mold lines very clearly
>>
>>93425071
I don't by faulty products.
>>
If I can't see any mistakes or mold lines from play distance then they don't matter.
>>
>>93425071
what are mold lines?

Do you use cast iron minis?
>>
>>93426183
My army is cast in pure tungsten so that stealing it requires a handtruck
>>
>>93426462
Now I just feel stupid with my Uranium miniatures tungsten would have been much easier to get
>>
>>93425071
Yes, even for chaff mooks. It gets kind of tedious honestly but I know my autism will eat away at me if I know it's there but didn't do anything about it.

But uranium's so much easier to re-cast with its lower melting point. You can use the same furnace to make vases for your wife's floral arrangements and colour them with the dust you collect from the mould lines. You're on to a win-win.

If your plastic miniatures have mold on them, you have serious issues.
>>
>>93425071
if they have one is remove it to the point, leaving some in the crotch and pretend they're pantylines or lines from a jockstrap haha silly guardsmen is see you wearing those panties on the battlefield :)
