Needless to say, it synergizes extremely well with False Wizardry. It requires no resources, is only limited by time, its resource increases with the amount spells you learn while also recharging quickly, has infinite scaling and versatility, and also benefits from the best Companion choice in the cyoa, and much more importantly does not require Perks from other Power Sources to be fully functional . Archive Splinter is quite simply put, the best genesis Perk in the cyoa. Even if you didn't want to invest in False Wizardry it would be stupid not to take it. It's a free action that gives you full potential mastery of the power source and empowers you over time as a free action, while giving you one of the best "economic" perks in the cyoa, acquiring the monopoly for rare spells both in the World and outside of it.

New Moon in particular is likely the single most powerful 8 point Perk available, not only giving an afterlife fully under your control, but also more or less forcing/taxing a nearly infinite amount of souls that would want to have a access to it. This gives you an unbelievable amount of powers and resources available. Additionally heavenly artifice and constructs made using Stellar Pacts are probably some of the best possible available in the setting, and it also has the second highest industrial scaling of them all (just behind Half-Mad mechanisms, and even then surpassing it when mixed with other Powers). The only real negatives are that Constellation, while still very strong, is a rather underwhelming pinnacle Perk, and Combinatorial and Ties that Bind don't really give you much in terms of what Stellar Pacts needs the most help with (which is the fact that there are no "easy" ways to master powers) and are not truly necessary for a build.

Unbeing by itself may not be the best Power Source to wholly dedicate yourself to, but its mandatory nature means its value is in a way irreplaceable.

In addition, Unfold is very good, so you'd want to take it as well, leaving you with a full 40 point investment in a Power Source maybe you weren't going to focus on. The other choice for this would be using Excellence from Divine Transcendence, but that has its own issues which will be addressed later on. Beyond that, Worldblood is the best secondary resource you can have access to, making nearly all others better, and vital for any industry and scalable build for them work, though sadly not all that impressive on its own.

Its main weakness is that it's not a very good Power Source to fully invest into due to its unreliable nature, never being able to choose what you get from the gacha ot what beings you might encounter, or having to dedicate too much time into managing mutations for a net benefit. Mutating yourself is difficult, slow, requires much research and seems like a very slow path to power. On the other hand, its industrial application is quite literally unquantifiable, its potential for effects unlimited, but suffering from the fact that it doesn't work well with other Power Sources. All in all Prismatic Corruption gets hard carries by some very good Perks and its unique properties, but it's not recommended as a main Power Source for any build.

If you had 150 Chain Parts instead of 100. The truth is the main draw for this is the usage of Excellence when used for boosting other Power Sources. Since you're realistically only going to fully focus on 2 Power Source trees, investing in any Perk other than Light Within is a waste of time, with very clear diminishing returns. Light Within is a very good Perk, and worth taking, but beyond this only maybe Separation of Self may be worth it (due to the Willpower boost and how it affects things like Magical Mastery). As a main focus tree, it's clearly outdone in terms of power by Worldblood and Unbeing, and in versatility by Stellar Pacts and False Wizardry, without covering for any shortcomings of these Power Sources when fully focused on. Its at its best when used to support other Power Sources, and frankly, to do that you don't even need any Perks for it. Even the large accumulation of Faith is not mandatory, as Metamanipulation not only bypasses it, but the usage of Faith itself would be limited to only boosting your most important Power Source of choice for specific circumstances, and even then a lot of the hard lifting is from passives that don't need it. Even action limitations are not difficult to work around of, using Act As Mythos for thing such as research or industry, not limiting your actions in neutral development actions as it would on, say, combat usage. And to top it off, The World your Stage is the worst 12 points option available. As a result, this is without a doubt the worst Power Source to spend Chain on, as even the very good Light Within is a luxury choice.

Infinite Sun is busted but she's too dangerous to give a consciousness too (in fact you might want to leave the World as soon as possible before she gets any weird ideas). Literally You is a trap option, and while having 200 Chain Parts and being able to give Perks out has the hardest scaling of any choice in the entire cyoa, chance are it's gonna backfire on you. Hard. Ancient Evil is ass and only worth it if you have Numerical Supremacy (and maybe Every Limb in Motion). Forgotten Tower is a bit of an outsider in the sense that it's the best option if you're into world building (literally), but beyond that doesn't offer much.
