So i'm not looking for a wuxia style martial art system, something that's on the low end of supernatural combat would be fine since they're all on that spiritual martial arts bullshit to some extent but i'm mainly looking for something focused on doing a more grounded martial art ttrpg focused on martial technique and the like.
bump for interest.I once had an idea for a baki (video) game, where you have basic moves like punch, kick, etc. and each would scale with your body stats. but the body stats would basically be a collection different muscles. so maybe if you had absurdly strong biceps, your punch would gain abilities such deals extra damage, or goes through block, etc. it would be pretty complex to manage this in pnp form, but it would produce ridiculous builds that baki charactera have.
>>93928305GURPSIt's the only system that can emulate Itagaki's Autism

>>93928305If such a system does not exist it would be necessary to create one
>>93928305Ninjas vs Superspies has a robust set of martial arts to pick from but I don't know if it'd fit a Baki style game since i've never used it.>>93932047Video game wise there are a couple that fit the mold of what a Baki game should probably play like, those being Garouden Fist or Twist Breakblow, Karate Master 2 Knock Down Blow and the Yakuza Black Panther Duology in particular.
>>93928305I've heard Mythras has good combat but I don't know how well it handles unarmed fighting
>>93928305I'd imagine one of the rpgs that are meant to emulate fighting games could probably do it, something like the Street Fighter RPG, Iron Street Combat, Fight!, Panic at the Dojo, Fists of Chaos: Beast Mode, etc. etc.
>>93932047>>93928305GURPS Technical Grappling, GURPS Martial Arts, and GURPS Basic Set are the only three books (technically four since Basic is two books) you need for any realistic or cinematic martial arts game.

>>93934683Yea, GURPS TG+MA is autistic enough for it
GURPS seems to be that wayAs always
What's with the atrotious "Tom of Finland gone weeb" art style?
