Meanwhile the Tangyuan/elemental powers would be a ranged option fitting the medieval world (and my plans to spend at least some of my time as a dragon) a lot better than psychic powers, with more flexibility too. But I went for TK because it combines offense and defence and I may not get other powers.Jade Ring seemed like it'd help with telekinesis, and the lucky charm bracelet is a useful warning tool so I'm not ganked in my sleep. So they can do whatever they want . . .as long as they stay low key. Most can't stop a sniper's bullet, after all, and they can be sued (if their actions can be mundanely explained). Some unscrupulous individuals from other factions have also hunted them down, to either harvest the Soul King's energy or more nefarious purposes.* Quincies are humans born with magical powers, and they're all descended from Yhwach. Back in the day, the Soul King used to keep concubines, and one of them bore him Yhwach. . .who went on to have a bunch of kids of his own.Unlike the other three groups, quincies don't use their personal chi to fuel their abilities. They can pull in the ambient chi of the area, which allows them to fight longer, with bigger effects, than any of the others. That also means they get a big power boost in supernatural realms like the afterlife.Quincy freedom is "complicated". They're living humans, but they tend to have the money and connections to do what they want. And Alat the start of the series, they're scattered across the planet, and rarely see each other, let alone try to boss each other around. Later on, they're given a choice to join Yhwach's army (with all the rules that implies) or die. Yhwach has oracular abilities (among other gifts), and merciless, so . . .

How many "stand in mid-air" techniques do you really need, after all?Time might play a factor, though. Quincies are organizationally weak until the Thousand Year Blood War, at which point they're all drafted and forced to work together towards Yhwach's goals (in exchange for training and a power boost). Fullbringers are around throughout the series, and don't reallly have a good or bad era. Early on Soul Reapers will get forced into a number of morally dubious actions, but are busy reforming by the middle (Hueco Mundo), and strongly the good guys by the end.The Arrancars start strong, but get beaten into the ground by the end of Hueco Mundo, and then further screwed over by the Thousand Year Blood War. Starting early with them would be key, so that (you) have the strength and resources to either escape or endure later events.

Initially there were two, made from power harvested from Fullbringers. They were ultimately fused into one with even greater potential . . .and supposedly could do anything the user wanted. However, the guy who had it was a big fan of mind games, so I wouldn't put too much trust in that claim.From what we saw, though:*a "lesser" hogyoku could forcibly change the power type, say from Soul Reaper to Hollow*a lesser hogyoku could also stop the power change halfway through, letting the person use abilities from both categories. That's how the Visored were created (soul reapers who could temporarily put on Hollow masks to boost their abilities).*a greater hogyoku could evolve a regular hollow into an arrancar, and even let the user play with the target's stats. One arrancar, for example, was basically lobotomized to boost his magic abilities. Mentally he wasn't much different from a small child - but he was also getting one shot kills in on even high level, named characters.*merging with a greater hogyoku allowed one character to immediately gain access to ALL the powers of both soul reapers and arrancars - even the extremely advanced stuff that should have taken centuries of training to even unlock, let alone get good at.However said character also went a little mad, and got very power drunk in the process. Slaughtered both his allies and enemies, then ditched all his careful plans to go on a mindless rampage . . .which annoyed a lot of Bleach fans.
>>94161626To an extent, the Bleach cyoa is an extension of the finale to Thousand Year Blood War. The good guys won - of course - but the antagonist had time manipulating abilities. Reversing his defeat by retroactively replacing certain key people, then rerunning the whole thing in a bid to win, is something he theoretically could have done.(And wouldn't necessarily have been out of place, either. Bleach had a lot of filler, including an Arabian Nights-themed recap, as well as a gothic horror one)I do see where you're coming from, though. There were definitely characters that would work as recurring rivals or allies, for example.And certain kinds of missions would work, too. "Recruit a Team" would fit right in to the general vibe of the first arc, and there's no bad point for "Desperate Life-or-Death Training to Unlock New Powers" (which happened throughout the canonical timeline)There are also some key events that the player or his team could get in on, that would impact the plotline. The Battle of the Fake Karakura Town was basically tower defense, with both sides stretched thin. Smash two out of four obelisks, and the arrancar win. Keep at least three up, and the Soul Reapers win. In the official timeline, the arrancar almost pulled it off. A single player or small team could definitely have made a differenceAssasinating Ichigo, Urahara, Captain Yamamoto, Aizen, or Yhwach (depending on faction and plot arc) would shift things drastically, too.Bleach killed remarkably few characters, but there are a couple deaths that - if prevented - might have made a difference. If Barrigan or Stark had survived among the Arrancar, for exampleStopping the guy from fusing with the hogyoku would likely change things, too.There are also a couple of "almost" participants who never quite made it out of the latent stage. Some fans are still salty that Keigo and Tatsuki (two of Ichigo's friends) never got active powers of their own. Just got stuck at "almost".
Bleach metaphysics kinda suck. Soul Society kinda seriously sucks. All the other factions are even worse somehow btw.The obviously right choice is to Awakened Fullbring your Hogyoku and pull off Aizen 2 Electric Boogaloo, less assholish edition.
