Fun fact: her original appearance was based on a character I originally created for a webcomic that never ended up happening (the guy who was supposed to cooperate with me on it flaked out), and who I for a while used as a sort of mascot. The final design just shares the basic color scheme, though. Funnily enough, while I never went into details on the backstory, the description of the demon kingdom does more or less match with the idea of the original setting (namely, it's a terrible place stuck in an eternal war between rival demon lords who have ruined their lands and enslaved their people to keep the forever war going).
