Jumper can open portals anywhere in the world and was that one drunk guy that can never be left alone. So just gonna do a two for one deal build wise here since Runescape isn't that notable development wise. Though introducing a new magic system long term for Hyrule-Gem is always nice alongside bending and evokers.

Jump 22:Runescape
Background: Mage
Religious alignment: Other
Race: Human
Location: Al Kharid
Perks
>Unassuming:Free
>Rune mage:Free
>Magical specialization (Elemental):Free
>The balance of nature:-100
>We are all equal:-100
>Lobster healing:-100
>Jumper the enchanter:-100
>Master of the mystical:-300
Items
>A guide to the mysteries of magic:-300

Innistrads gonna be a bit more interesting though. Jumpers going to basically just scramble to keep his own kingdom safe, Save Avacyn from whats controlling/driving her mad and also putting down the various vampires and monsters with extreme prejudice. Couple that with him hearing peoples prayers/ Hopes and dreams/ Pleas and he's probably gonna end up running himself ragged a bit all hours of the day trying to do as much as he possibly can. Thankfully at least Gem has some evokers in it and hyrule to a lesser degree to alleviate the burden.

Jump 23:MTG Innistrad
Origin: Church of Avacyn
Starting location: Havengul
Perks
>Avacyn will protect you:Free
>Benevolent protection: Free
>Gather to me:-100
>Blessing:-200
>Take shelter beneath my wings:-300
>Protector:-1000
Items
>Silver dagger:Free
Drawbacks
>Rumor monger with a grudge:+100
>Lab escape:+200
>Court of the three day king:+300

Hylia:...Are you alright How do you feel?
Jumper: Tired... like I'm still not doing enough.
Hylia: You've done a lot, you've been going for a week. The tides are starting to turn slowly but surely I promise you... So just rest for a moment.
Jumper: ...Alright. I just hope there be okay.

In any case I do urge you to rewatch the very first episode of the first season and give the show another chance. Its legit a decent comedy if you're into visual novels or at least familiar with the cliches in there. TWGOK does a great work at using those cliches and playing around with them without ever going overboard.
I genuinely enjoyed the first season (same with bakatest) and its the anime that made me want to read the manga and get into the actual weebshit.

What quest?
>>
>>94185160
I had one Jumper who was a warlord during the Warring Clans period that would later become the First (and only) Mizukage. Jumper being the Eternal Shadow of the Mist somehow made things better, or at least more peaceful, simply because it turns out, not many people are willing to start shit when it could mean someone who fought evenly with Hashirama and Madara at their peak might take offense. Especially since unlike Hashirama or Madara, Jumper didn't age. There was no 'growing weak with age' or 'dying to some disease' or 'losing power'.

There was only someone who could slaughter armies and rearrange the maps singlehandedly. Didn't help either that, thanks to that one perk from the TMNT 2012 jump, any one who fought under and with Jumper received a tremendous boost in skill, power, and morale, meaning there was also an elite army following said army killer.
>>
>>94185265
>Just wait until Link becomes a Champion/Dawnguard and Zelda becomes a Stargazer/Listener.
Oh I didn't consider that possibility but there's honestly a chance they may of already become those given this is a bit after stone tablets and assuming they were in the country when it jumped. That goes a long way in holding down the home front at least.
>>
>>94185235
Msle elves and dwarves don't mamonify. Mamono mana decides that if something LOOKS close enough to a human man, then it is "human". That and Gohan and Goten are half-human, so even less chances they'd be mistaken for mamono.

I know people having one Exaltation is the norm but how would they react to one person having multiple? Would they freak out or just shrug and go "Meh creation is broken this is probs a glitch or something" then move on with their life. >dwarves are just immune to jobmanos for no reason
They aren't, dwarves and elves incubize like everyone else. The dwarves even went so far as to turn all their women into succubi, so there are basically no non-corrupted dwarves anymore.

If ki can't make Gohan into a productive fighter, then Gohan would just find a way to misuse his mamono mana potential, transcending fate itself and even the author's out of universe fiat to just fuck up and fail so hard he has no sex at all and causes everyone around him to have more sex than him, and at his expense. It's that simple.

How does Mamono Energy stack up in the metanarrative weight department?

>If ki can't make Gohan into a productive fighter,
Gohan CHOOSES not to be a fighter. Its not about any external power altering him. And when he bothers to actually try, he's outright stated by word of Toriyama to put everyone else to shame thanks to his Beast form.

He wouldn't even have to do anything beyond fucking Videl to accrue enough power to bitchslap anything short of maybe a non-sandbagging Whis.

>If Runescape was uneventful, then it seems reasonable to assume that jumper spent some time finding Link and Zelda, training them both, making them Avatars, and insuring Zelda can manage Hyrule when he’s busy.
Yeah I was thinking Runescapes mostly uneventful aside from some standard (For him) adventuring.
So I could totally see Zelda and link getting trained as evokers.
...Assuming they reach apotheosis thats really gonna break down the timeline given they'd live for a long time after.
Actually how the hell do I handle future jumps if Jumper goes back to hyrule given hyrule is following him? And if Link and zelda are in that travelling Hyrule. Maybe his is his original timeline and they've hopped into a separate one-time continuity wise?
Maybe something breaks just a little bit for the hyrule that specifically follows him and the another timeline continues as if he wasn't a factor i

No. The only allusion to such is KC comparing how mamono mana can exist beyond the multiverse and function acausally to "an ink spreading and infecting the canvas from beyond the story" or something to that effect.
>>
>>94185429
Because Empty Is My Hand is pretty much just Bigger Fate from MGE. So Mamono Energy wouldn't be able to overcome it, it'd just be twisted to the advantage of the metanarrative singularity that is you. That's not to say it would completely disregard Mamono Energy. Rather, everything about Mamono Energy would be twisted subtly and overtly towards your benefit and desires over time.
>>
>>94185173
So.

Mechanically it's fair.

Realistically it's kind of not.

What it boils down to is that you can make a stupid simple build with no bells and whistles and probably be fine... or you can be a badass with twelve beauty perks and almost certainly get ganked if you don't have the ocp to keep yourself safe. And jumpers are vain creatures, so I've kind of never seen a build that didn't dive headfirst into the "you probably got mind controlled but who cares you're hot now" territory.

On the flip side to that, you get like eight freebies in a world where most of these characters have maybe a single 400 or 600 cp perk as their primary gimmick, so you can technically overpower them. You just need to not sign up to be mind controlled/have plot armor.
>>

Plot twist: Link and Zelda reach Apotheosis and become immortal, but more Links and Zeldas are born anyway, until eventually the positions of the seven sages and seven maidens are all held by Zeldas.

>Actually how the hell do I handle future jumps if Jumper goes back to hyrule given hyrule is following him? And if Link and zelda are in that travelling Hyrule. Maybe his is his original timeline and they've hopped into a separate one-time continuity wise?

>>94185653

They do. Kinda. Blood of the Hero and Soul of the Goddess; theoretically only Hylia/Zelda keeps reincarnating, and Link is just a series of descendents of Link.
>>
>>94185583
Remind me again whenever I start work on the S4 update.
>>
>>94185686
Do you really want to know?
>>
>>94185685
It's actually a huge plot point that Zelda's not Hylia after all the shenanigans in Skyward Sword. All of the Zeldas that came after the original Zelda who was Hylia reincarnated are her descendants but aren't themselves reincarnations of Hylia. Which is why they're all wildly different and why they don't have Hylia's memories or full power, although most display some affinity towards light magic or something similar.

Likewise, I believe Ganondorf actually overcame Demise's curse of hatred after he claimed the Triforce of Power. He's no longer the incarnation of Demise's hatred, he's absorbed Demise's own power and become his own existence as the King of Evil. Whatever was left of Demise's curse is long gone and absorbed into Ganondorf who's become vastly more of a threat than Demise ever was. So in a sense his curse ended technically but broadly speaking you can argue that his curse did its job because it created Ganondorf even if his own spirit is no longer present.

Mostly I think you're just shitposting and spamming images, but I'm vaguely curious.

So world of darkness... theres bound to be a lot of stuff under the surface Jumper probably can't handle truth be told. But he can slay a vampire (as long as there not a elder or even a werewolf with some luck just fine. So thats what he's gonna do maybe try to find some hunter group or another to help out. Hopefully he can bring a bit of light to this world of darkness.

Noooooooooo, anyways the "Poor Communication" drawback title is written twice for both of the 100+ drawbacks. I don't mind the Try Again capstone at all, the "retry" taking place in a "cut off dimension" & having no greater impact on the world is a nice trade off. Thank you so much for making a Mischief Makers jump Genre, loved playing that game when i was younger. Technically even though they're not in the game (only in the mini introduction manga) I could go out of my way to companion Marina's other sisters...maybe.
>>
>>94186055
Library and University synergize on their own as well. And that makes me think there should also be a basic school available. Something else that could be interesting (but possibly more hassle then it’s worth) is buildings of a given tier discounting related buildings, like a tier 3 General Stores discounting Digicard Shops.

Hey jumpers, do any of you have a 1 jump chain, or at least a 1 franchise chain that you know would let you "win"?

Basically what I mean is there either a single jump or a single media setting you enjoy and know how to exploit to such a degree that you could achieve immortality, godhood, personal happiness, etc. without needing to go to any other jumps/settings?

Basic idea: reality is Nonexistence putting on a play and trying to convince itself that it is Something. Cultivation is facing the Nonexistence that underlies reality and having the Will to say "No, fuck you, I exist". This is called Royalty, because I'm shamelessly ripping off some ides from ES. There are nine-ish steps to it.
>Serf: you are fully bound by material existence and have no access to Will.
>Squire: you have awakened your Will, generally through some incredibly traumatic event that forced you to face Nonexistence and scream "I exist!" at it. You are slightly unbound by physics and can do some minor magical shit.
>Knight: You have strengthened your Will enough to create Declarations, formal magical abilities that are far stronger than raw Will-shaping at the cost of being a good bit less versatile.
>Lord: You have created at MINIMUM three Declarations and used them to form a Name-a sort of mystical identity for yourself. This makes you fully unbound by physics-unable to be harmed by "mortal means" and able to survive the destruction of your physical body as long as your Will exists. You're ageless, but still fairly weak on the totem poll.
>Baron: You've derived a Symbol from your Name(s), which is basically a super-powerful magical artifact incarnation of your Will that lets you take your reality warping from "lift a house into the air, with great effort" to "casually rip mountains out of the ground and throw them at people". Also makes your reality warping a lot more versatile and allows you to Speak your Will into reality-making permanent effects.
>Earl: Via staking a claim on a concept/idea/territory, you form a Crown-which is your conceptual dominion over [thing] that enhances and sharpens your Will by drawing on the strength/existence of [thing]. Staking your claim requires using your Will to fight off other claiments and can be contested, but in return allows you to do reality warping for effectively free via [thing].

(1/2)
>>
>>94186150
>Duke: You form a Lore, which is basically your own understanding of reality filtered through your own Royalty. I'm not exactly sure what a Lore should even do, but I want it to be Important.
>Prince: You form a Legend, which is effectively ontological inertia; you've killed so many people that you have a fundamental advantage to killing people; you've defended against attacks so many times you have effectively perfect block; you've charmed so many people that your very existence charms the world around you. Takes a lot of time and effort to build up, but basically makes it so you no longer need Will to warp reality-reality just warps by your very presence. Most powerful when you Remake your own Legend by doing something that defies it; when a ruthless killer swears himself to peace, they gain unique powers; when a pacifist goes to war, they gain unique abilities.
>King: You form a Prophecy, which is a conditional form of absolute immortality and truth that you willingly abide by. Every Prophecy has two parts: the Boon and the Bane. The Boon grants you a unique power that no amount of Will-shaping or Legend can match, while the Bane guarantees a method that can absolutely kill you. In return, you can ONLY die by the Bane-nothing else will do the trick. Prophecies can be broken at any time by their holder, but doing so will immediately shatter their Boon while the Bane will linger for much longer-possibly forever or until they make a new Prophecy.

I've been tinkering with this idea for what feels like weeks now, but still can't quite work out a few things. Critical things at that.
>What's the world that this system takes place in like?
>What's the actual powerlevels at play here?

Well not with jumper around. I really took a liking to her. She's got high INT but low WIS and is a vindictive and spiteful girlfailure that couldn't even become an exorcist jk for lack of spiritual power (to the point that even with the drug the monsters consider her body useless, lol)
Seems like prime companion material for me.
>>94186186
isn't it?
>>
>>94186199
Makes the body produce too much spirit energy to the point they start lactating. Not technically bad but the fact the girls didn’t know about it temporarily disables them, which gets them killed.

Is it like souma where the milk can power abilities if drank?
>>
>>94186138
Getting the Forbidden Fruit in Kamen Rider Gaim canonically makes you Multiverse tier. All you gotta do is just kill the other riders early on, since thats when they're at their weakest. You can just assassinate them since they're all weak humans before they've transformed.
>>
>>94186210
Teeechnically, I guess? It’s more like the milk is raw power, so the monsters drinking it levels them up.
>>
>>94186210
>>94186219
Unless you’re human in which case pretty much any exposure to spirit/demon energy damages your genetic code and causes you intense pain until you melt into a puddle and die. Or you get super powers. So…. Yes, but it’s unreliable if you’re human.
>>
>>94186204
I really need to look into how to kill most of the monsters (except for the cute ones) in that place in one go. Some kind of extremely racist area of effect curse on the planet maybe?
>>
>>94185352
Danzo doesn't start the plot though. The plot is the Akatsuki and Kurama killing Minato and Kushina, both of which happen with or without Danzo since that was Madara/Obito's whole plan. To stop the plot you'd have to stop Obito from getting crushed by rocks because Madara seemingly had no backup plan besides Obito.
>>
>>94186209
Madara's plan is retarded since it would result in everyone eventually dying and the human race going extinct. Even discounting the fact that they would all turn into Zetsu, which he wasn't aware of, it's not like being trapped in Infinite Tsukiyomi makes you immortal. Without being able to reproduce, all he's achieving is like 100 years of happiness at best followed by humanity literally dying out. It's not even the Matrix since at least the Machines in the Matrix had the decency to put all the humans into the same simulation and also ensure that they reproduced enough to continue the species. Madara never even thought that far ahead.
>>
>>94186163
Interesting. I’ll take a crack at a few of these.
>What's the world that this system takes place in like?
This feels like the place where you want to go for something completely different. Maybe the world draws on the aesthetics of Genshin Impact or Ar tonelico. Maybe they’re Native American or Minoan. Find something different that you like and run with it.

>What's the actual powerlevels at play here?
It feels like the raw force part should cap at mountain busting level, which would be reached at Knight. Past that, you’re altering reality to do your work.

>The fuck even is a Lore?
Are you familiar with Mantling from Elder Scrolls? Basically you act as much like a person as you can until reality itself can’t tell the difference. A Lore could be that, but you design a new persona and act in accordance with it.
>>

>>94186231
Madara doesn't care about whether people reproduce or not. That wasn't his goal. His goal was to be right and win.
>>
>>94186242
But he ended up being wrong and losing. His plan didn't work, not only because he lost but also because it literally isn't feasible. The guy was stupid enough to get rolled by Black Zetsu because he never stopped to actually question the validity of all the info he was receiving about this mythological super tree and also consider the logistics of how his utopian Matrix would work.

Kinda? in JK the girls can produce spiritual power from the womb for a period of time (that's why they're all JKs, the spiritual energy output reduces and stop around college time)
That's why they're used as broodmares and milked to death. Each bit of them while they can still produce spiritual power can be used. They're basically taken as raw materials lol
you can prolly drink the spiritual power-filled milk but if you're a human dude it will either give you powers or melt down your body. The latter is the usual end
In Hisui's case she produces next to nothing so after some rape and stealing her drug recipe they just toss her aside. She's kinda funny. I like her.
>>94186242
Sounds like another uchigger with no bitches.
>>
>>94186242
It's more like his goal was to bring about world peace. But like Hashirama and everybody else, Madara is a retarded child soldier whose education consists of how to murder as many people as possible. So he's in absolutely no position to make a judgment call on how to achieve world peace.
>>
>>94186248
The real problem is that he didn't question why a shadow creature somehow manifested from his body without his knowledge. Since black Zetsu didn't actually do this I have to wonder what the hell his sales pitch was to Madara on that
>>
>>94186228
Yeah, I mentioned starting early. I guess I did say a bit but I generally mean like a good twenty or thirty years in advance. Like yeah save Obito, but also without Danzo around fucking up and pulling strings you end up with a Leaf Village that has a stacked deck, significantly fewer doomsday tier enemies in the future, and greater chances of controlling the situation that was a serious series of unfortunate coincidences one after the next. I genuinely believe you tell Minato about Zetsu and give him time to polish his skills a bit more and he basically solves the whole situation with the immortal war profiteer monster in the shadows of civilization by himself. If not, well then hey he has his senior apprentices to go ask for help after they were given control of the Rain Village by an old and retired Hanzo. That little motherfucker skates by because nobody knows he's around but not much longer.

>>94186236
Making friends with god is one thing yeah, but also just specializing in PC technologies I think would allow you to eventually do some wacky bullshit if that's what you're doing all the time. The Trainer Origin also gives childlike enthusiasm for life as a freebie iirc, so there's that too. Also since it's one Jump you don't gotta care too much about living the whole way through so fuck it, drawbacks out the ass.
>>
>>94186240
I saw a pretty cool idea in a quest once, combine that with the boil/steam bloodline and it could let you jet around and shit.
>>
>>94186263
If I'm not mistaken, Black Zetsu literally fucking gaslit Madara into thinking he created him as an extension of his will. How he even achieved that is completely unknown. My personal fan theory is that Madara suffered from senility in his old age and Black Zetsu just showed up one day and pretended like he had always been there. Madara, not wanting to admit he's losing it, never confronted him about it and just pretended like he knew already.
>>
>>94186264
Can I make the world cutting slash from JJK a custom jutsu?
>>
>>94186263
To be fair, iirc Madara thought he created Black Zetsu. He believed Black Zetsu to be a manifestation of his will which would guide Obito. Black Zetsu had hidden within Madara while he was dead, whispering to him and manipulating him after he came back to life, so Madara thought this was something totally natural.

Time/Space Ninjutsu like Hiraishin is a branch of techniques that exist and Kamui is a thing that Mangekyo Sharingan can potentially do for some who get it, so it's probably expensive with that kind of company but yeah I think so.

Kimimaro's cool until you realize that the only reason he really had such a good showing is because he fought two people he was perfectly matched against. If he'd run up against Neji he probably would've gotten shredded in a matter of seconds.

Girls that take it experience an increase in sexual sensitivity and it also acts as a strong aphrodisiac, not cripplingly so but significant enough that regular masturbation becomes common. Eventually once it's taken enough it causes the girls boobs to grow massively and all their spiritual power starts leaking out via lactation. Their boobs are each bigger than their own heads, possibly even approaching torso sized, and with their spiritual power leaking out and an inability to properly empower themselves physically with it they basically just fall over and immediately give fucked by monsters.

A "working" version of the drug in theory would include everything except for the bit where they lose all their spiritual power via lactation. The few times I've included the jump in chains my jumpers usually go out of their way to refine and improve the drug into a working version so they JK's can enjoy a power boost and jumper can enjoy a bunch of big tiddie JK's jiggling everywhere.
>>
>>94186309
The Byakugan can see tenketsu points. Unless Kimimaro is dead, Neji can clearly see his tenketsu no matter how fucked up his bones are. And his chakra strikes pierce his opponent's body to close off their tenketsu points, shutting off their ability to use chakra with even just a few hits unless they're a Jinchuuriki or something and can forcibly reopen them. And also Neji at that point in the story is faster physically than Lee.

It's just a bad match-up for Kimimaro. If they fought, Neji would absolutely win.
>>
>>94186236
Isekai at Peace is arguably the most powerful jump on the drive. It's definitely the best in terms of power to danger. It offers shit like the ability to casually kill omnipotent beings with feats of multiversal reality warping, complete immortality against even omnipotent beings, the ability to make the powers of omnipotent beings mutiny against them by turning them into waifus, etc.
>>
>>94186296

I was more joking about how his physiology is apparently so fucked up weird that even Orochimaru and Kabuto had no idea how to cure his basic bitch tuberculosis which is what he eventually died of. I don't think it's a straight victory though for a few reasons, one of which being that we see that chakra infused armor serves perfectly for blocking gentle fist strikes. Kimimaro very regularly makes use of subdermal bone armor as a means of protecting himself which we see at multiple points in his fights against Lee and Gaara. Presuming he does not just instantly get merced by Neji - which he shouldn't given that he's still strong enough to make the rest of the Sound 4 piss themselves even while he's sick and dying - they'll have an exchange where Neji maybe blocks off his tenketsu, Kimimaro picks up on how this opponent works, and starts preparing countermeasures. Given he can shape his bones in all sorts of different ways, there's no reason to believe he'd use the exact same techniques he used against Lee and Gaara.

Furthermore one of the chief reasons that Lee was kind of a weird matchup for him and got so many (admittedly ineffective hits) in was because of the weirdness of his movements rather than his speed. Neji is a lot more logical and straight forward and easy to deal with in that specific regard. It's hard to tell because we don't see Kidomaru actually affected by gentle fist until the very end of the fight, but it's possible the Curse Seal could be used to force Tenketsu back open considering the way it alters and buffs the chakra flowing through your body. If it does, Kimimaro gets to scout, get hit, activates Curse Seal, and Neji is back to square one with the guy.

Anyways, regardless of who wins, I don't think it's as simple as "Neji shows up, easily defeats the captain of Orochimaru's private forces, moves on to help the others."

iirc outside the breed ones they form from the energy around or something.
so you could theoretically just cast some AoE to kill them all and then create something that take away whatever energy allow them to form.
Most of them aren't that bothersome unless they're left to gather energy at which point they usually become too strong or numerous to be dealt with using normal methods.

Hey, I'm probably going to sleep any minute after taking my medicine so I don't know why I'm posting, but I figured I'd ask anyways. I made the basic framework for a Generic Xianxia setting and put it in a paste here.

Does this work? Is it fine? Sorry for being a bit annoying.

Unrelated, but another question came to mind as well and you guys might be able to talk about this even after I fall asleep. What's your favorite color? Do you ever make this relevant to your Jumpers or chains in some way? I enjoy purple a lot so I often make it the color of my Jumper's hair, and the color of any particular energies he can wield when that's an option.

Let's see... One time I was fresh off about thirty years of nonstop war, so I hung out on the turtle island and hoped no one would bother me. Did not work, but I tried.

Another time, I built a clan over fifty years in a random minor village using Generic NTR. That thing is really overpowered.

A third time, I went to Naruto Blacked and used it to demo my never-going-to-happen fanfic notes involving a steampunk Konoha and the insane anarcho-diabolist cult on their border.

Most recently, yes pic related.

Hmm trying to world build some decent holidays for Jumpers nation Aside from one every decade thats a festival for the journey between worlds. Any suggestions on what could make good ones? Trying to think of some decent hylian ones.
>>
>>94186765
Your four basic holidays are probably going to be the solstices and equinoxes. That is, the longest day of the year, two two balanced ones, and the shortest. This year is March 20, June 20, September 22, and December 21. So, something for the start of each season, such as not!easter and not!christmas.
>>
>>94186765
Jumper's Birthday (even if it isn't actually your birthday, the figurative day to celebrate the ruler's birthday is common in monarchies)
>>
>>94186779
Oh I like that. Jumper is fond of christmas and he met santa in narnia so I could see him maybe wanting to do something similar at least.
A spring festival could be cool though maybe not something to close to easter thats pretty specific.
>>
>>94186793
Hmm maybe. Its a bit self glorifying for him though.
>>
>>94186765
Following seasonal stuff, you’re probably going to have a number of minor holidays that correspond to the start dates of various jumps. Like one jump will have you start at the beginning of the school year which is usually in July, but another might start you out three weeks in, in June. Or another will start in March. It isn’t all synchronized. These will vary between major and minor for how noticeable they were and how important they became. Jump where nothing happened? Kids get a half day at school. Jump where you picked up and new companion or another major land purchase? A solid week of holiday.

>>94186798
Well, technically it’s a month early to be Easter, but that’s the closest major holiday to it. There are a lot of things from a lot of religions and cultures around those four points because anybody who figured out how stars worked quickly realized they were important.
>>
>>94186823

oh I like that. I'll probably use that model going forward a bit. Kinda want a holiday celebrating or about adventurers a bit in general. Given Jumpers been one for so long and he probably encourages it a little bit as a practice. Maybe kids dress up as heroes and get put off on "Quests" by their parents and family friends for treats or gifts. And have it be a day of appreciation for proper adventurers.

While I don’t think you’ve been there, Wind Waker shows that links home island has a tradition to dress boys in green on their tenth birthday. That’s why he has the green outfit at all, any other day of the year and he’d have the lobster shirt he starts with.

You can either keep that as a pseudo-coming of age thing, or perhaps have it drift more towards ‘Halloween but you have an actual sword’ as things progress.
>>
>>94185552
how would you modify it to work with other jumps?

You missunderstand. The point was not making the war against the Primordials easier, it was to make it harder for the Exalted and their physical armies.
Against modern mechanised forces, you won't have things like a Dragonblood holding up an entire army solo on a chokepoint.
>>
>>94187246
Ah, you're fighting on the side of the Primordials. A different thing to consider then:

The Primordials didn't even fucking realize they were in a war for most of the Primordial War. Explain to me how you'll sell them on the idea of mechanized forces when they're all hyper-autistic, hyper-focused on specific concepts that they embody, and largely don't even realize they're actually fighting anything.
>>
>>94187246
Dragonblooded don't solo anything anon, they're Dragonblooded. What's going to solo is Lunars or Solars, and being mechanized won't stop them if they're properly equipped (which in the Primordial War they very much will be).
>>
>>94187246
The Primordials were almost entirely unaware they were even in an actual war, which is the only reason the Exalted won. They're not going to notice you trying to industrialize their forces.
>>
>>94187253
>>94187264
So all anon needs to do to fuck over Creation is stop the Primordials from being too autistic to realize someone is attacking them?

She Who Lives In Her Name has 999,997 crystalline spheres that orbit her. Before and during the Primordial War, it was an even million. She was distracted from the Primordial War proper by a Solar writing her the most atrociously written letter ever conceived, which caused her to focus autistically on correcting every single error in said letter for the ENTIRE WAR. When she finally finished correcting said letter and realized that the Primordial War happened, she threw three of her spheres as Creation in a huff.

This obliterated 90% of existence, even outright destroying concepts that only existed back before the Three Spheres Calamity.

This is what happens when a Yozi intentionally acts.

I kinda jump between Green, or rather Teal,Brown, Some shades of Grey and Black, even if it ain't a color according to color theory, and others. I don't have a top color as much as I have a pallete that I go through on my whim.

Also enjoy them for my energies. Though I do still love Ichigo's Old Black with Red Outlines Energy aura.

As for clothing? Its pretty basic. I imagine my jumper having a lot of normal clothes, or a very boring wardrobe, with maybe one snazzy outfit or two. He would be the one showing up in a xianxia fight where everyone wears all sorts of incredible stuff, in a T-shirt, hoodie jacket, baggie bell bottoms, and either sneakers or slippers for footwear.

Also interesting stuff for the Xianxia stuff NuBee.
>>
>>94187275

And caused a bunch of people to take up the Oil business instead, causing widespread pollution and destruction of nature.

And the Ebon Dragon laughed.
>>
>>94187283
Actually she only did that when she lost and was denied surrender. But yeah, she fucked up all of Creation out of spite.
>>
>>94187253
You don't really need all the Primordials on board to win. The Exalted armies mostly fought against servant races or mixed humans like the Linthia Empire (who only were able to be defeated once Kimbery was sealed and they stopped receiving her blessings). Some Primordials probably never knew much of what was going on and even then it was close.
>>94187254
There is was dragonblood who held against an army of demons on their own to let their army escape and that was a big event in the war.
Also, Solars and Lunars weren't fighting Primordials or Third Circles all day. They fought against first and second circles, servant races and wild Behemoths most of the time. Deprived from support, Celestials can be worn down much easier before they reach any of the big targets. The defeat of the Primordials were big events in the war, not an everyday thing. And the solo combats that were succesful were even rarer.
>>94187283
She was in grief over the death of a Primordial, the letter just strongly informed of that in a way that left her depressed for half of the war. Not autistically fixing little details.
Also, it wasn't a causal act but a permanent dimonishment.
>>
>>94187253
Consider this: The reaction of a Primordial to any outside context anything is:
>What an interesting thing, I'm going to vivisect it to figure out how it works
The problem with helping the Primordials isn't going to be defeating the Exalts. It's going to be the job of Tard Wrangler in Chief for colossal autists with no sense of empathy who honestly, sincerely see nothing wrong with breaking your toys because they felt like it. The best way to do this isn't actually getting the Primordials on board with anything. It's doing it without the Primordials knowing what you're doing, because when you're on the side of the Cosmic Principle of No Sense of Right and Wrong/ Old Testament YHWH Superdickery/ Screwing People Over For Fun your best bet is to not get their attention. No matter what you're trying.
To be honest, actually fighting the Exalts sounds simpler than trying to sincerely help the Primordials.
>>
>>94187283
It should be noted that the Three Spheres Cataclysm permanently fucked up her symmetry in such a way she couldn't replicate it even if she wanted to. It was a very strong "Fuck you, neither of us are getting what we want" situation.

Tbqh I'm more tempted by the fact that Behemoths/Hekatonkhieres have bullshit Charms on the level of copying Solar ones (hi Arad!) and the fact that despite being a cosmic engine of destruction the Daystar is highly implied to be kind of dog-like at a spiritual level. Apparently it has a tail it can wag.

...the problem is if I DO choose Celestial Throne it's hardlocked to the Daystar and the idea of one of the random Daystars that the Primordials created to test the Unconquered Sun by having him shoot the fake ones to death running away to me to survive makes me, the writer, sad.

>>94187540
Viable sure but I cannot in all honestly tell you if it's "optimal" because of how arbitrary and semantic theme-based conflict resolution has historically been in the setting-except to point out that Divine Attributes and Estates are probably redundant. I believe one given example for a "meta-Estate" was the status of being Imperial at all.

Huh, I thought attributes Divine Attributes and Estates have basically nothing to do with each other, since a lot of attributes don't even really involves estates. But then again, I have no interest in other Imperial beings, and I really can't think of any other similarly meta Estate, except maybe the Void/Ninuan. Either way, it seems like the metadroid Transcendent is a go.

Another question I just thought of: do Estates give you some sort of passive advantage when doing Estate stuff like normal godly domains in fiction? I've been reading through the 2e book and haven't really found anything. I'm asking because I still need to come up with my nornal Imperial Estates, and I have Scholar of Perseverance, so Creation (the act of) would fit, but I'm not sure if that would even matter at all. Scholar just kind of seems to cover everything you would want to use that estate for, after it has some time to build up.
>>
bored but dumb thought since im tired assuming a jumper starts as as a second rank God. How high up the celestial hierachy do you think they'd be be able to get with the stuff available to them in the Jump? >It seems to have just kinda happened.
To be entirely fair, that IS how Strategists work.
>>
>>94187582
>since a lot of attributes don't even really involves estates
It may help to understand that most Divine Attributes are associated with Imperators, and Imperators are the things of which Estates are literally their flesh and blood

>do Estates give you some sort of passive advantage when doing Estate stuff like normal godly domains in fiction?
The miracles and Gifts/Bonds/Geasa (which explicitly can include things like "fire itself refuses to burn you, turns against your foes in battle and does your taxes if you want. Badly unless it's a reasonably expensive Gift, despite being tireless. Because...fire" ARE those advantages, by and large. It mattering is why Lucifer talked other angels into joining his cause, why after losing they were cast down to Hell rather than executed, and why he still managed to strip Heaven of Pride.

>>
>>94187612
Eh I imagine the budget they'd have available (1000+ with drawbacks probably) given they wouldn't be spending any of it to start higher. Fair though if nothing else a jumper there would probably be notable and not second rank for terribly wrong if they wanted to change that.
>>
>>94187617
Okay. 5th rank easily, especially if you get all the networking and bureaucracy stuff in the Celestial perkline. Or Sublime Appearance. You can briefly transcend the rankings entirely if you get Turning of an Age but well...without going REALLY far out of your way the problem is it's going to be temporary. And probably unsupported by most of Heaven.
>>
>>94187608
>Gifts/Bonds/Geasa
Pay to win games haunt me once again. How hard is it to make those by yourself anyway? I only remember seeing a vague sentence saying it's exhausting for an Imperator to give Gifts to their Nobles.
>>
>>94187629
Oh danm really? I was thinking fourth rank at best. Wasn't expecting for them to make incanae in a 100+ years regardless but thats still pretty god danm good. Could set him up in the bureau of seasons or humanity and he'll be good.
>>
>>94187617
Also to qualify my answer, two of the most powerful gods in the Age of Sorrows started out as the gods of bureaucracy and walrus breeding. The former became one of the most powerful goddesses below the Incarnae themselves just because paperwork drastically mounted up in Yu-Shan after the Sun wasn't around to run things smoothly, and the downfall of the Solars was interpreted as a massive upheaval of the order established by him to the gods. The latter leveraged his ambition and some large scale sacrifices during the Primordial War to impress the Unconquered Sun, which eventually got him promoted to the Southern God of War (and bulls)
>>
>>94187636
Incarnae rank is a whole other beast that needs extreme circumstances to get to but yeah, if you get both Celestial capstones you can likely get to Fifth Rank in a century without too much issue.
>>
>>94187548
Shard, I'm not too solid about Nobilis shenanigans but I've already played with this Royalty idea too much to abandon it. Be honest with me: on a scale of 1 to 10, how Strategist-like is this system so far?

Ah yeah I remember hearing about Ahlats backstory. He's cool but kinda a dick.
>>94187646
Yeah Incarnae rank would be something to look into after like a couple dozen jumps/A thousand years or so post Spirits of creation.
Of course the most impressive thing Jumper could probably do in spirits is just getting there department of Yu-Shaun to run properly.
>>
>>94187634
Complex but far from exhausting, and I think you might have been conflating that with 2e's detail on how difficult it is for most Imperators to INTERACT with their Nobles without deafening them with their shear aura of (concept)-ness, or the broad traits of their being. In-game you basically buy Gifts/Bonds/Geasa with XP, so I'd say anywhere between a few weeks to months' of subjective effort for a Noble (depending on which Estates you have and how you're using them, time travel may or may not be relevant) depending on what you're going for.

>>94187636
Yeah like I said here >>94187641 Ryzala and Ahlat aren't particularly likeable as gods go, let alone having a "you're bullshit pretty by divine standards" perk, and while competent in their fields are primarily self-interested and relatively short sighted. What you really need is some of that old House of Cards-level ambition and cutthroat ruthlessness (assuming you start in the Age of Sorrows; probably a bad idea to go all Don Draper while Conky's running things) and theoretically, you run rings around them and everything they've built in the political arena even if they could squish you in a 1v1.

I am running with the idea Jumper would be in the age of sorrows. maybe continue where things left off in the exalted mortals Jump. Cutthroat ruthlessness though? Thats... a big weakness of his. Jumpers not good at being ruthless he generally puts the greater good and trying to help the world in general above his own ambitions even if he does still pursue those ambitions in a way he see's as appropriate.

>carry a shard of Nonexistence within them
>One must understand themselves so utterly and intrinsically that they will never again mistake the sensation of Nonexistence for anything else, and feel it yawning within them at all times. The easiest and least painful way to achieve this is to be dangled between the edge of life and death over and over until one memorizes the transitory sensation between the two; within that moment they will see, feelt, taste absolutely Nothing, and from there they may understand Nothing until they realize it exists at all times within them.

Yeah... though thinking about it I'm actually okay with that. It makes it more interesting almost. Achilles is a inspiration for Exalted after all. It gives a reason why Jumper would work with the solars to aside from them just demonstratable making things better (In some some cases) If it'd help gain a bit of ground in heaven and help shake some of the corruption loose.

>>94187703
The face-eating parasite was a thing I made up for introductory reasons-basically, MC and a group of friends/excited people will go into a special training labyrinth to become squires! Cue a horror scene where everyone slowly loses definition and existence until MC suddenly realizes they're close to nonexistence and awakens as a Squire, regaining existence (sans memories) and realizing they're only surrounded by mannequin-people who have lost all definition at this point. It's considered an average day in this xianxia since they had one survivor. I seriously, genuinely didn't intend for this to be some sort of Strategist cultivation thing. Cards on the table, it was going to be a system I was going to use for an original xianxia that I planned to write. Might end up scrapping that plan now. Might just take that cringe on the chin and soldier on.

Either way, I'm still going to keep writing this and see where I get with it.

Probably. I miraculously don't feel burnt out yet, but I'll take a few days or weeks off at the very least. Just to be safe.
>Also how did job hunting go? Found anything neat?
No real progress. I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to get conspiratorial. Like maybe there's some giant red flag in my resume that I'm completely oblivious to. I don't know how else I'd be having this much trouble for this long. Still, not much I can do but keep trying until someone gives me an in.

Sounds reasonable. But, what was on the back-backlog?

As for the job thing, is it safe to assume that you from the US? If so, I watched some videos about that. Your job market is sus as fuck. It's either an unending wave of interviews, or job postings that they aren't offering in the first place, but keep the thing up to trick investors that the business is constantly growing.

Dunno what to say man. Eeeeh, maybe try to make various CVs to send in? Apparently these days AI CV sorting is all the rage.

Wish you the best of luck.
>>
>>94188037
>But, what was on the back-backlog?
There's a complete Hitman skeleton, which I had to take off the backlog due to it just being too damn big. There's also a handful of jumps I've promised without a specific idea of when I'll start on them, like Touhou (Windows) or Black Butler.

But really, I don't think I'm going to stick religiously to a static list this time. I think it'll be better for my own enjoyment if I just make whatever I want whenever motivation strikes. At least for a little while.

>>
>>94188349
So going off of that... would you say being a god of a singular element like Air would be a fifth rank God? Though thinking about that that could also fit a celestial position if its not about the elemental pole itself and it as a concept- Weighing different possibilities for a Jumper to go down a bit and terrestrial seems more down to earth which is appealing.
Apologies for a potentially repetitive question.

Yeah, that's reasonable. Having an element as your domain is usually an elemental thing but there's no restriction that gods can't have that either. Fifth would be enough for one element all over Creation and Fourth one element over a specific Direction I figure.

And yeah, as a Terrestrial your domain is probably the Elemental Pole itself while as a Celestial it'd be the element in general.

This jumps good for digging into a bit and stewing ideas for me. Planning out things broadly for Jumpers eventual visit. (Im very grateful there are some Bureaus left over in heaven that aren't directly overseen by incarnae that gives some wriggle room.)
Gonna finagle a build to see if I can't make a companion a new Incarnae rank god with Jumper as lower level god in a different department. Reminder that Ichibe is the one who fucked everything up. I'm not even talking about all the atrocities he committed to ensure the Shinigami reigned over existence forever. The anime reveals that when Yhwach took the Right Arm of the Soul King, Ichibe cursed him with his naming powers to seal away The Almighty until "the day he died." But then Ichibe, in a moment of absolute fucking stupidity, kills Yhwach after defeating him in the Soul Palace... which reawakens The Almighty and causes all the bullshit that happens afterwards.

To be fair, the whole premise of Bleach is that might makes right. Or more specifically, as noted by Ichibe and Yhwach, "peace" is something that can only exist when one side is so overwhelmingly superior that they have the ability to define reality for all those below them. The ancestors of the Shinigami did so by sealing the Soul King and dismembering him to claim his power for themselves, allowing them to redefine reality into a world where they reigned supreme over all of creation and thus imposed peace upon the world. Yhwach is doing the exact same thing except with the Quincy instead. In a turn of tremendous irony, the only one who seems to go against this trend is Aizen himself. He even calls out Yhwach when they have their encounter in the Muken, stating that he won't follow someone who's simply imitating the Shinigami. Which itself implies that Aizen, whose goal was to "fix" the setting entirely, didn't intend to just destroy everyone who opposed him and institute a new order. In fact, he states that his plan was to go to the Soul Palace, destroy the Zero Division, and then meet with the Soul King himself. Which comes with a huge number of implications given Aizen's capabilities and the Soul King's current state.
>>
>>94189124
Sure. But unless the author(s) are putting their money where their mouth is, I don't see the point.
>>
>>94189124

>>
>>94189160
Aizen is well aware that the Soul King is the one who divided the worlds. He's also one of the few who's aware of both his current status and what ultimately happened to him. Aizen's beef with the Shinigami and Soul Society is extremely similar in nature to Yhwach's own, which is why the Quincy King offered him a chance to join him fully thinking that Aizen may take it because their motivations line up. They're both disgusted by the unfairness of the world and the ugly truth behind how it was created and continues to function. But Aizen rejects him because he doesn't believe that the solution is to destroy everything and remake existence. Or at least, in a bout of tremendous irony, he isn't arrogant enough to think that he alone has the wisdom to define what the world should be. All Aizen knows is that he is discontent with the current state of affairs and that alone is enough for him to rebel against the whole world and tear down the Soul Society to change it if he has to. It's telling that Aizen never marches his army directly into the Seireitei like Yhwach does. He never even goes there until he's tricked into doing so. He knows that Soul Society itself isn't really to blame and simply turtles up in Hueco Mundo until he has everything ready to make the Ouken.

His goal is the Zero Division and the Soul King. But unlike Yhwach, it seems like his goal wasn't to kill the Soul King or even replace him. It was to meet with him, possibly restore him, and then basically cooperate with him to fix the world into something that's more fair-minded compared to its current state. He holds himself as a transcendent being just like the Soul King but Aizen himself isn't interested in ruling anyone, as evidenced by his complete apathy towards his imprisonment and Yhwach's quest for godhood. In Aizen's mind, he already IS a god and he rules existence by being there no matter what delusions people like the Central 42 might have otherwise.

Correct, it works by having these warp points throughout the dungeon and a kind old man with a knack for warping you away in the nick of time. >>
>>94189514
There's no explanation for how the dude always knows the exact time to teleport you. This makes it fair to me to assume he's like a magical force who will always know when you need to be teleported away.

Once again, then it makes far more sense to let you be such a force than ensuring you always have an ambiguously omniscient wizard in every setting to bail you out at the last second.

>The Last Story - [400]
Hope you don’t dislike meta stuff too much. With this, you will become a being similar to Shallow Vernal, as a being that represents that very ‘last story’ that exists, the life that extinguishes at the very end, something that will not disappear as long as other stories exist, the very last light before the darkness of the void claims everything. Now, you’re someone who can’t die until all others and everything else has died as well. True Death can only come for you last of it all. By that I mean that as long as ‘something’ or ‘someone’ else exists you can’t die, no matter what. The ultimate type of immortality. Therefore, there’s no magic, no technique, no weapon that can truly kill you. Even if something capable were to appear, you would only reappear a bit later. Although, you can still be sealed or overpowered with this alone, so I suggest you search for something a bit more offensive in nature.

So what do you anon's think of the Evil Zone jump? I know it's not one of ours but i've come across it recently and for a very particular chain idea I have, being a metal hero in star wars, and it's the only option I have for it but I feel like it's lacking for a better word. I haven't done the deepest of dives yet into the game but even with my light paddling I feel like it's not got everything the jump should have even if it's got the main stuff i'd be wanting from it in it.
>>
>>94190109
For such a sparse game, I think it's a decent jump. I just wish Absolute Existence wasn't so explicit about negating the timestop in other Jumps. You can't control them so it isn't as broken as it sounds on paper, but it still leaves a weird taste in my mouth.

>“Oh! I was yelling at the universe to give me a husband already and you fell out of the sky. That means we’re soulmates!”
>Lover from another world: Search your deck for a Plainswalker card and put it in your hand.

>Which leads to me asking for a map of the world and the realization that I'm not actually on earth anymore.
Given your young age and the fact that you’re not an Incubus, I’m not sure you’d be able to lift the map.

>"...oh. Right. Humans mature slower than Succubi. Um?"
Don’t worry Anabel, childhood friends is a very good way to start.

>I’m not sure this world is really better than my last one, but things do seem to be looking up.
Considering how you exited DxD, it’s not hard for the next world to be an improvement.

>Generally speaking the amount of energy she put out meant that the few attempts at assassinating her monsterized before coming anywhere close
Hmm. Maybe my joke about the map was wrong, if you’re cuddling with a Lilim there’s a decent chance you are an Incubus by now.

>Oh. Oooooooh. Oh dear. Her sister was going to be utterly insufferable, wasn’t she?
It’s not just smug. It’s /young child/ smug. Even Mamono Mana can’t match this level of power.

>What are some food focused settings you'd want a jump
Camprfire Cooking in Another World could be a fun jump.
>what are some good food related perks/items out there?
Fate Legends Land of the Rising Sun got the Beniemiya perk, which makes you an incredibly good cook and lets you channel magical energy into your utensils and ingredients to enchant any meal you make with special effects.
Otherwise the jump got a few food items like the infinite rice barrels and thr summonable onibfeast, also it got lots of decently freeform options you could use for cooking purposes, like being a mage wirh focus on food related magic, having mystic eyes useful for cooking(maybe some kind of analysis abiliry), being a yokai or oni with abilities relevant to it or even using the custom magic blade option for a super kitchen knife.
>>
>>94190152
Delicous in Dungeon is the most recent one I can think of.
But there are several older series about food I wouldn't mind a jump for.
Yakitate!! Japan is about super delicious breadmaking.
Yumeiro Pâtissière is mostly about sweets, cakes and such.
I suppose God of Cookery could be fun?
Don't think we have a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory jump yet.

Which ones question the status quo and then don't change anything? Bleach doesn't question anything. The villains do that while out to destroy everything and fuck with Ichigo.
>>
>>94190296
It's funny as hell that Ichigo is a direct product of Aizen fucking around. Like Aizen essentially made Ichigo through his experimentation with White and then orchestrated everything because he needed transcendental reiryoku to feed into the Hogyoku in order to achieve transcendence and become a being similar to the Soul King. But then we find out that actually Yhwach foresaw all of this and is responsible for overseeing Ichigo's creation since he needed a being similar in nature to the Soul King in order to kill him since he wasn't actually able to do so himself.

Ichigo is a fucking group project. Or, as one guy put it, Aizen wrote the script and Yhwach read the pre-release leaks.

I've wanted a Sleepy Barmaid jump for a while, but I always have trouble finding translations past chapter 31,
The Food Diary of Miss Maid would be a nice one. Simple and comfy.
Blend S would be a lot of fun too. I'm not sure there was ever more than one volume though.

>Food related perks/items
I have this list saved from the last time someone asked about this.

>Bioshock 2 - Circus of Value, Hop-Up Cola
>Breath of Fire 3 - Picnic Basket
>Divinity: Original Sin - Nurrid Ovrur's Never-Empty Beer Mug, The Pickaxe Tavern
>Etrian Odyssey 5 - Gathering Skill: Cooking
>FLCL - Family Bakery, Little Prince Curries
>Hades - Eurydice's Cooking, Crate of Ambrosia, Underworld Pomegranate, Crate of Nectar
>Inugamihime ni Kuchizuke - Tea Set
>Katawa Shoujo - Two Bottles of Wine, Whiskey and Pretzels, Take-Out Menus, Complete Tea Set, Convenience Store, Shanghai
>Little Nemo - Sleepytime Candy, WakeUp Mints, Dream Treats
>Little Nicky - Can of Coke, Peppermint Schnapps, New York Pizza, Popeye's Chicken
>Night in the Woods - Fiascola Machine, Snack Falcon, Pizza Scale Box, Donut Wolf, Lemonade
>Pyre - Harp Moonshine, Downberry Clinger
>Restaurant to Another World - Basically 3/4 of the whole document
>Stardew Valley - Brewer, Artisanal Goods, Botanist, Gatherer, JojaCola Machine, Convenience Store
>Zootopia - Pawpsicles, Doughnuts, Popsicle Stand, Bug Burga, Fish Taco Truck

That's basically everything from the Jumps I've made.

People in this thread get really mad and judgemental about Ichigo wanting to fuck off but honestly if he wasn't like that then he would have died faster and the villains would have won so much more easily. Think about it, this is a recurring theme throughout the series even before he gets powers. People interpret Ichigo as something he's not, antagonize him, and then they get fucking ruined for it. If Ichigo was a revolutionary with big ideas the chances of him actually just being recruited by the villains or nipped by Soul Society increase by like a hundred times over. Aizen and Yhwach both rail against Soul Society's tyranny but they presented no solutions better than what already existed. The badge he had was explicitly bugged and if he heavily invested in training for the sake of heavenly upheaval or expressed his discontent then bare minimum they just wouldn't have allowed him to reclaim his powers during the Fullbring arc.

By Aizen and Yhwach (and Ginjo) needing him for their plans, and forcing his involvement, they also bring ruin unto themselves through the same force they instigated.

Fate Japan Benienma perk, infinite rice item, oni feast item, technically also Shuten's Gourd, alcohol powers, and bone picking power.

So, it honesty turns out that the assassins and spies are just plain stupid. The dark knights of lescatie for example, almost all wear a small necklace, some with a name carved into it and some without. The order mistook this for a local custom and equipped their spies with some of those necklaces in order to have them fit in better. What the blank necklace actually means is ‘I’m available someone drag me into a corner to fuck’. So the spies mostly never come back because rather than disguising themselves as a knight, they disguised themselves as looking for a wife/husband. Trying to do so inside a very powerful demon realm rather than inside a new one is probably even more prone to failure.

As for being an incubus, not quite yet. The maid used miracle of recovery, which is why there’s the mention of a nun since that’s the card art, but until I start actively drawing on corrupted mana I’m going to be mostly human.
>>
>>94190537
How many Yugioh monsters do we have anyways? There's the original, and that one that's like "You are in the world of the card lore but expanded/reinterpreted by the Jumpmaker" or something, but I haven't kept track beyond that.

You would think the Order might have noticed the Dark Knight part at some point.

>As for being an incubus, not quite yet. The maid used miracle of recovery, which is why there’s the mention of a nun since that’s the card art, but until I start actively drawing on corrupted mana I’m going to be mostly human.
Anabel or Eve could also change you easily enough, but Anabel might not think of it and Eve would probably figure you’ll become an Incubus on your own anyway.
>>
>>94190572
>>94190587
For Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff, there's the original, GX, 5D's, Forbidden Memories, Capsule Monster Coliseum, Falsebound Kingdom, and Duelists of the Roses. For the card lore, there's Shadow Realm, Heroes, World Legacy Parts 1 and 2, Duel Terminal Parts 1 and 2, and the guy who made the World Legacy jumps is working on a jump for the Sky Striker manga/card lore as well as a jump for the Albaz card lore and a jump for the Magistus manga/card lore, whenever that gets finished. SMTAnon, assuming he's just on one of his year long hiatuses again and not gone forever, was working on a sci-fi themed card lore jump and would eventually do Duel Terminal part 3.

Jumper in MHA is gonna be a vigilante, Idea being that he is a former pro hero who got hid lisence revoked, but kept semi-secretly fighting villains, with authorities turning a blind eye towards him for his past record.

What would be a decent reason for getting your lisense revoked, that wouldn't harm his reputation too much or warrant legal troubles?
>>
I thought I would poke the Rosario + Vampire Jump a bit. I have a couple of perks see how they look. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

A Chimera in Sheep’s Clothing (600, Discount: Fairy Tale Spy) There are brilliant people able to out think everyone around them and weave complex plans like a spider weaves webs plotting many moves ahead of everyone else. Then there is you. You are a brilliant schemer among brilliant schemers. Able to create plans that achieve seemingly impossible results like plotting your own defeat at a band or ragtag band of monsters and a human so they take you to the one place you need to be and the one man who is holding the item you need will let his guard down enough for you to snatch it and enact your master plan. Your cleverness is especially effective against those who see themselves as schemers and master planners. They will for some reason tend to underestimate you and will be caught by surprise more often than they seemingly should.

Magic Item Creator (200) You are quite clever and creative when it comes to creating useful little devices of minor power. Anything from A Doll that can control the movements of someone who’s hair is placed within it to an Urn that when it releases it’s contents acts as a powerful aphrodisiac. These items may not be exceedingly powerful but can be very useful. Further you will be able to create these items fairly cheaply and out of mostly mundane items. The Maximum power of these items would be an item that switches the personality of the user and the target to start, though with work and experimenting that limit may be bypassed eventually.
>>
You get a chain, but you have to flex on your spendings. You have two choices:
>Only go through jumps of which you own of either physical media, physical merchandise or other physical goods, and at the end of them you get to go through QuickSilver's Dragon Ball Z endjump. Each physical good only qualifies for a single jump, in case it applies.
>Go through the above, but you may also go through jumps of which you own digital media too. You don't get to an endjump scenario or get a Spark, but may choose whether remain in your last jump or be sent home once you run out of jumps.
You may choose the order and choose to exclude jumps.
What do you choose and what will you be jumping?

Some malady or lasting injury, perhaps getting shellshocked over something like a Max Payne kind of guy.

>>
I wonder how many views the World Seed story got from the jump.
>>
>>94190727
As far as I'm aware you really, really gotta fuck up to get a license full on revoked. Knuckleduster is the closest I can think of to your situation but I think he officially retired after his Quirk was stolen, rather than getting his license revoked, and then went on to become a masked vigilante. Maybe consider it to be an undercover operation where Jumper's license is revoked on some trumped up charges that people just know are bullshit with the hero still actively working in the background with less oversight?
>>
I still have no idea what to do with pokemon outside of pokemon.

Jumps with clandestine organizations going up against supernatural/otherworldly forces? (Eldritch, Aliens, Demons, etc. etc.) Generally asking just because I love the aesthetic of people in suits or dress shirts and ties and the like going up against supernatural/otherworldly forces with either supertech or their own supernatural abilities like in Men in Black and Chainsaw Man.
>>
>>94190613
I mean, they were trying to infiltrate the castle the dark knights use as their base. They did notice them wearing them, but since they were all wearing them they thought it was part of the uniform. It isn’t.

Annabel technically could but wouldn’t think of it because that’s one of the classes she’s skipping. Eve won’t because she doesn’t actually care. She’s mostly here to check that this is actually consensual and then to hand over wedding presents. I’m keeping track in the background, I’ll monsterize once I have something like ten marriage counters on me. I have one currently.
>>
>>94190803
Treat them as familiars in fantasy Jumps? Have them be goofy but powerful bodyguards/nannies for children?
>>
>>94190742
So, to me this mostly reads as ‘do you want to go to qq jumps’ because I don’t think anyone here will actually physically own hentai or doujins. Maybe one guy, but the rest of us won’t. So the stuff I have downloaded will have to do.
>>
>>94190742
Definitely digital media. With just physical media I don't have much chance of sparking, and honestly I don't really care too much about it.
>what will you be jumping?
Too much to list. Maybe over 100 jumps if I went to check all my stuff?
>>
>>94190737
Hmmm, I like them! Magic Item Creator could use a bit more fluff though. Some references to witchcraft and some other mystic practices. But this I can see as the 'You know how to magic, for better result get to work.'

As for the Chimera In Sheep's Clothing, I also like it. I can see it as a Anti Schemer Schemer Perk. But I think you need a bit of an acting component. Being able to plan and those so good that they can happen is well and good, but you kinda need to sell the thing.

As for digital, I have plenty of games, shows, images and more, but you said 'own' which muddles things. At the very least I never paid a single cent for any of it. They don't stop being Pokemon just because you leave their universe. They're still faithful allies, treasured pets, or whatever your relationship ends up settling into.
Enjoy their reactions to new and interesting food. Dress them up in silly outfits. Stack three of them on top of each other in a trench coat in a blatantly obvious attempt to keep them from being noticeable. Sic them on your enemies and watch people react in horror as they realize you've got a living flamethrower and a literal dragon happily willing to obey your commands. Discover what happens if you give a Lucario a Kamen Rider belt and a Mawile a magical girl transformation wand.

Evokers would be neat but I wasn't sure if that'd be a in rude to non evokers to have one. Since not everyone probably can be a evoker. Its a nice idea a bit though and would be cool.
Golden goddesses I imagine are observed in a sort of somber acknowledgment way of. "Well they made us and set all of this in motion originally. They deserve some recognition." though lotta people would probably ask where they are thats so important.
Anyway afternoon thread! Have a build

Jumpers got a good few houses/properties at this point. So I like to think maybe he turns this latest home if its outside hyrule into a home for down on their luck gods and mortals. Try to subtly plant the idea "Oh wait maybe there not the real enemy." for regular people that stay there.
Though Jumper is probably a very good priest now and thats something. I don't think he could walk away alive in a fight with the infernals even with his powers.

Hylia: This is my therapy mortal, There aren't many like them but this one is mine.
Jumper: Please don't call me that?
Hylia: Would you prefer to my Therapy spirit instead?
Jumper: What?
Hylia: What?

Anabel in a combat sense is probably going to be fairly interesting. I’m running my planeswalker powers as loosely based on a fanfic that has very op walkers, but slowing it down some. Instead of being able to poke things and get their patterns I need a minimum level of understanding of that thing - that’s why I only got Anabels card after talking to her for a while, and why I didn’t put miracle of recovery in there despite calling it out. The end result is going to be me as a strategic weapon, channeling my lands to effect the entire battlefield, with Anabel basically playing bodyguard for me. Because each land is only going to be usable once a day. So until I go to other planes or specifically go around gathering lands, I’m going to have a maximum of six mana per day for a good while.

Magic users are nerds.
Chi users are bimbos.
Psychics are dorks.
>>
>>94191239
All three of those vary drastically between instances, but usually psychic powers are sourced from the mind are the powers are more instinctual or at will, while the other two are/use energies sourced from the body or environment and shape it in a specific way to achieve complex effects using learned methods. Magic and qi/ki can have crossover but settings generally differentiate them in a few key ways, especially when they're in the same setting. Magic is generally more esoteric or spiritual, while many settings treat qi/ki as more physical and bodily.
>>
>>94185552
I can see why this wouldn't work as a regular castle supplement. You should still make a medieval jump with castle customization.
>>
>>94191239
Magic comes from the soul, Qi from the body and psychic power from the mind.

Ki is physical energy, psychic is mental, and magic is a third energy or mental again.

Unfortunately land bonds being what they are, I’m likely to have the most. So that would severely fuck me over. Creatures would be in my favor if it’s me Vs an army, and cards are a nonfactor because I’ll basically ignoring the concept of a hand. Otherwise it would also fuck me over.

True.

The flip side is where am I even going to get that spell?

Given that I’m nominally a blue planeswalker, I’m far more likely to try a variant of Instill Emotions that turns all of the opponents swords into cursed sword. Your weapon wanting to fuck you ought to be a decent way to disarm an army.

I can see it. It affects the right and bottom margins. Then again, maybe it has to do with the browser? I am using Firefox.

That or you have some margin settings you need to edit Skyrim.

Also quick question for TES. Are Alchemical Supplements, the item, ingredients for Alchemy that restock? Asking since I wanna know if I need to fanwank finding new ingredients for stuff like Cure all illness.

Warning-Somewhat rambling thoughts ahead
Thats honestly a good point and what made me think about it a bit more. Guess it just feels a little arrogant in universe to him. Jumpers idea of what a God is has changed a lot given there can be different sorts in different worlds. He doesn't feel like he could live up to what one should be.
And also how many villains have been made by people trying to reach for godhood unjustly a bit? In his mind he doesn't want to be a villain like that.
Though at this point he's centuries old anyway and rather powerful. And in exalted terms it'd basically be the only way to grow further unless he gets a exaltation of some kind.

So I guess just... yeah he'd probably get convinced somewhat easily during the Jump to do that. Sadly Conky has a big claim on light but maybe something wind or storm related could be a decent domain. he's got a affinity for those ever since tome of radiance- well actually I suppose He'd be domainless give the lack of a actual Bureaucracy in this world but still.

>Guess it just feels a little arrogant in universe to him.
I mean, you’ve got the second level of A Roof Over Your Head, you’ve got a god working for you as a housekeeper. Your jumper has no reason to become arrogant at the idea of becoming a god.

>Jumpers idea of what a God is has changed a lot given there can be different sorts in different worlds. He doesn't feel like he could live up to what one should be.
The gods you’re interacting with would probably tell you that if you become a god of something like heroism or protection, you’d slide right into the role as if you’d been doing it forever.

>And also how many villains have been made by people trying to reach for godhood unjustly a bit? In his mind he doesn't want to be a villain like that.
The key word here is ‘unjustly’. You’re not going out and sacrificing a thousand virgins on the Altar of Ultimate Darkness so you can become a god, you’re helping out gods, and then one day several of them get together and say they’d like to make you a god as thanks for everything you’ve done for them.

drawback where someone betrays you that previously was believed to be on your side. Drawback where you're hunted by orcs, more severe version where it's the nazghul, drawback for getting side tracked a lot and almost never being able to use the straightforward path to get to places, drawback for being absurdly flamable like the nazghul from the movies when Aragon and the hobbits first encounter them, drawback called "why don't they fly to mount doom" where it prevents you from just flying around (and especially prevents you from flying to mount doom), maybe a general perk for being a good friend like Sam is to Frodo and how Sam's presence and assistance helped Frodo get to the end both physically and mentally. Drawback for being a wretched thing like smeagol that is either physically messed up like he is or mentally fucked up and obsessed with obtaining / regaining "a precious" of some sort. A drawback for uru-kai carrying a large barrel of dynamite showing up to wreck your defenses any time you're under attack in a defensive position. A perk for showing up in the nick of time whenever you're needed like how Gandalf does basically every time he goes anywhere but especially so when he brought the reinforcements to helm's deep. An item that when used alerts your allies that you need help as a reference to the "gondor calls for aid" moment.

Shiki has Nanaya things others have mentioned, and they are quite good, mainly for precision and speed. Church enforcers have their own combat style, so you might classify them as martial arts as well. I suppose the demon blooded also have some, but I feel it is more an instict towards violence than a martial art, imo.

Purely by accident, of course, but it still worked and was enough to ruin what bit of organization the Orks were maintaining during that invasion. Mostly because all the tribal leaders that the Warboss had been holding together promptly butchered each others fighting for control. Which is pretty typical of Orks in that situation.

question about the Brick Quirk, would things like sharper senses or a better immune system be included in the "more powerful and efficient physiology" it grants or is it just a pure stato boost?
>--Quirk 8 (Brick): The Quirk user has a more powerful and efficient physiology compared to the average man or woman. Musculature weaving, bone structure alteration, there are a number of complexities, though in basic terms it means they’re much stronger, faster, tougher and enduring than others.
>The Quirk user could throw cars through the air, outrun them on the interstate, and just feel pretty sore if they actually got run over. The Quirk user has a higher metabolism, requiring them to eat more than others. Takes active practice to reign in their strength for delicate work.

Had to think for a minute, but I found it. It's Death or Glory, Book 4 of his series. That's the one where there's not actually Necrons. It's just that someone mentions mysterious disappearances and possible xeno ruins in the dessert and Cain gets all twitchy about it for the rest of the campaign.

I think you might be thinking of Caves of Ice. That's where he floods most of mountain's worth of promethium mines with liquid promethium because he finds Necrons in the depths. That one ended up being an explosion that was blinding from orbit!

BUZZING COMBEES! VAULTING VELUZAS! Is that a hunter I see? Right now you are explaining this piece of lore to me because that very sword has been and is being used to AMPUTATE LIMBS OF MY FRIENDS of my OWN SPECIES and MERCILESSLY KILLING THEM? What's even more puzzling is the fact that your INDISCRIMINATE SLAUGHTER has nothing to do with feeding, gathering resources or even controlling our population, but you're DELIBERATELY GENOCIDING MY OWN KIND, for absolutely NO REASON AT ALL? SYRUPY APPLES!
There's more? You will not only HUNT DOWN every single WRETCHED URSARING but the LITTLE TEDDIURSA will also be MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD? After you genocide 99% of this region's population, you will finally KEK ME AND MY SPECIES by ruthlessly FUCKING MY URSARING WIFE and my TEDDIURSA DAUGHTER's CUNNY right after, not being your SUPERIOR HUMAN BVLL ROD yet SATISFIED?
All the while I'm DEAD in a NEARBY CAVE, alongside the ROTTING FLESH of my KIN? What can I say besides YABBA DABBA BLOODMOON!
But wait, the SUFFERING is not over? You will continue to SLAUGHTER MY SPECIES even after RAPING MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER, by fighting a HUGE URSARING? You will lose your sword but will STILL BEAT HIM TO DEATH WHILE UNARMED? And that you will DIE in the process, therefore coming back to the SPIRITUAL REALM and KILL ME AGAIN to RAPE more of my RELATIVES, without a time limit creating for all intents and purposes a URSARING HELL? and I get to watch until the SACRED IA finally ends time? Her name is Carmen. Not Sandiego. Just Carmen.

She formed a cult of personality around herself attempting to cure some made up disease of the mind that there was no evidence it existed at all in the first place, and from this proceeded to create some of the most horrifying abominations in the entirety of The City (an already eldritch megacorp dystopia full of cannibals, vampires, horrifying temporal warping trains, and much worse), ascend to become an immortal voice that exists within the collective human subconscious, and repeatedly works to drive absolutely fucking everyone she can insane by turning them into Distortions-basically giving up absolutely all humanity and embracing your desires and immediate instincts, becoming an eldritch monster in the process. She does all of this with a smile, utterly happy with everything, and there is seemingly no way to stop her or remove her from the collective unconscious at this point.

Depends on the continuity. If you go by the IDW comics, originally all Transformers were male, but this dickhead wanted to give transformers an alternative method of reproduction so he forcibly remodeled formerly male transformers into females which just makes less sense the more you think about it, but it's not worth getting into now.

In another continuity "female" is less of a gender and more of an ethnicity. Basically one of the original 13 transformers had a body shaped like that, so for a Transformer being female just means you were loosely based on that original template.

That's my understanding anyway. Reproduction in Transformers lore always ends up pretty weird.

>>
>>94193044
Probably, it can do a lot of shit from what we see in Lobotomy but specially Ruina and Limbus.
>>
>>94193044
Eh... Kinda?
The Seed Of Light was ideally meant to make the people in the city stop being apathetic assholes to one another (basically what Carmen meant by it being a disease of the mind), and give them a chance to protect and defend themselves from the miriad of bullshit that an regular person might have to deal with, mostly in the Backstreets rather than the Nests (EGO).

As it is now, the Light is kinda fucky from Carmen egging people into becoming Distortions because she thinks it'll be eaiser for them to live that way, Angela cucking the Light from going off at the last minute as a fuck you to Ayin, and from Roland also cucking the Light last minute because he didn't want Angela to die.

That's not even getting into that while EGO and Distortions are strong and cool and all... like, if you're not in a cyberpunk/urban fantasy hellscape like The City or such, you could probably find or make something that's more powerful and helpful than the Light. Overall, the Light is probably pretty useful if you can fix it up, but as it is now, and given it's track record, it's prone to fuck up and cause unforseen accidents and the like.
>>
>>94193125
>given it's track record, it's prone to fuck up and cause unforseen accidents and the like.

>It should be fine if Anon isn't crazy and doesn't have people trying to fuck him over at the last moment.
That's fair, but counterpoint: Anon is a Jumper.
The likelyhood of people crazy, powerful, or both, that can and would fuck with the Light for some reason go up because Anon is attached to it.

Like imagine if Anon is a guy that has a harem of crazy or morally dubious bitches, and one of them notices the Light. There is NO WAY she ain't gonna try and fuck with it. Ain't no way.

>imagine if Anon is a guy that has a harem of crazy or morally dubious bitches, and one of them notices the Light. There is NO WAY she ain't gonna try and fuck with it. Ain't no way.

>made up disease of the mind that there was no evidence it existed at all in the first place
There is a district of the City where new & exciting forms of cannibalism is considered the height of gourmet cuisine. And that's just one example of the city's insanity out of many, many others.
Even if there isn't a disease of the Mind, I wouldn't remotely fault anyone who might look at The City and decide everyone within must be bugfuck crazy.
>and from this proceeded to create some of the most horrifying abominations in the entirety of The City
It's important to note she wasn't involved in any of that (except maybe one accident that resulted in Nothing There), because they weren't able to get nearly any Cogito to actually create abnos until Carmen got her brain stem used as a water filter for the entirety of the collective unconsciousness for like a thousand years.
Whilst still being conscious.
>>

>Ah, I’ve had some fun with this jump. Funnily enough I was thinking about it and Tome of Radiance earlier. Princesses have some very useful powers, but Evokers actually have better combat abilities.
Yeah Both seem really cool. Princesses seem like a natural compliment to the evoker stuff Jumper already has so I figured why not. He didn't expect to be a magical boy when all this started but this chains gone a lot better then he hoped so he's fine with it.

See I was gonna have Hylia end up being the oracle of ages over in Labyranna which is why she wasn't in seasons. But the idea of jumper somehow just being the oracle of ages and seasons at the same time is oddly hilarious to me so I might do that.

Meanwhile, Labyrnna has two size expansions, no divine architecture, but three satellite nations(Zora, Goron, Tokay), a great fairy and a fairy queen, and two guardian deities (Maku Tree, Jabu Jabu). Three if you could Nayru.

So on and so forth.

Yeah I wanted to grab that to but it was just not in the budget there. They do have narnia time though so there mostly protected when it comes to time fuckery but best not to test it to strongly.

And oh lord it occurs to me whatever Jump I choose next. (Considering genshin impact a bit). Will be a bit of a pain given Jumper doesn't know holodrum and Labrynnas following along with them afterwards. He's probably gonna have to do a lotta diplomacy and treaty making there. I mean, you could make it fairly generic and just have it so that any unique or special features of the item (or other buildings/options) you buy are automatically included. That's what I was thinking of doing with the Digimon one if I generalized it.

I think Hylia would be Hyrules archon (or the closest thing it'd have in this scenario but I digress) I know genshin a decent bit but as far as I know the local space tunas not really active on the Jumps default start date thankfully. So thankfully neither hylia or Jumper would have to worry about that to much unless they muck around with time travel.

Listen this Hylias had a whole character arc! She's a lot better then before. And I wont lore dump on ya. But for context for anyone curious Archons are pretty much just the patron God/Goddesses of there nations and a corresponding element. Though theres only 7 elements and 7 nations in world anyway. ||...Hopefully if Hyrule and its allies appeared it wouldn't accidentally spark a mini archon war wherever it arrives next to that'd be very very bad for everyone involved..||

Enneagram is probably bullshit as far as real psychology goes, but it's rather useful for modelling characters. Especially because the model tries to predict how each personality reacts to self-actualization and stress rather than assuming someone behaves the same in all contexts.
Pick out some likes and dislikes and you should be good to go.
