>>94188485TL;DR- Idea is PMD x Abyss Delver (Made in Abyss)- No corruption mechanics, but traversing between and through strata is still a difficult, treacherous and effortful task.- Everyone is located in Relic Town, around a fuckoff-giant Mystery Dungeon (of unclear and possibly infinite depth) in the ground known as the Abyss.- Create characters following the rules of the PMD CYOA, with intial tokens from the Grimbright scenario option. (+15/+15)- If you're planning on exploring the Abyss past the second stratum or so, you should probably purchase a Guild Badge and sign up with a guild.Expanded Lore Document that You Should Probably Read: https://rentry.org/pmdabyssMysteries for this scenario:First Stratum: What's Eating the Berries?- Recently, Delvers close to the Public Steam Elevators have reported a weird lack of berries on all the trees that would normally grow them. Who, or what, could be the cause?Second Stratum: Statue Garden- A section of the Petrified Forest lacks its usual trees. Instead, statues of all sorts of Pokemon, petrified in various poses, take their place. Some Delvers swear it wasn't there the last time they went through the area, but with the dungeon constantly shifting, they are somewhat unreliable. Were the statues ever alive, or just decoration all along?Third Stratum: Cave of Wonders- Recently, a Beheeyem resurfaced with one half of a golden, Rabsca shaped token. They were cagey about where they found it, but rumors started to spread about a cave full of magnificent treasure in the Eroded Desert that one could find only if they united the two halves of the token. But is it real, or just an ancient trap?

>>94188927I think you misunderstood something.I meant an actual pokemon battle like the games, not you personally fighting them.
>>94188938Still the Mewtwo. Thermonuclear Special Attack stat with enough Speed to be a serious threat. Can pack Psystrike to hit your physical Defense with his SpA, so you're not safe bringing a Special wall like Blissey either. Can also pack Aura Sphere, a never-miss Special Fighting move if you think you'll get cute and swap a (Psychic-immune) Dark in against him.

He had just asked a cute if also awkward girl in his class out on a date... but that night, he suffered an Isekai aneurysm in his sleep. When he woke up, he found himself in Tiny Woods, in a quadrupedal body. At least the forelimbs had claws that could sort of work as hands. After a short while, his wits returned to him, and he (being already familiar with Pokemon) realized the basics of his situation. Attempting to talk to the nearby Pokemon proved fruitless, and he realized he'd have to fight his way out... wherever "out" was.>PersonalityIn contrast with his newly imposing exterior, Archie is usually soft-spoken and contemplative, making him something of a "gentle giant" in his current form. >>94189049>>94189052Alright, thanks. For the type change move set, it mentions "moves of the same tier", what does that mean? Any list where one can compare them?
>>94189199Oh, and also, I'm confused about the TM/HM. They say you can purchase them multiple times, but there is also only one slot for them? Or can I learn like two HMs and put one in one of the natural slots?
>>94189199There isn't an actual tier setting for moves. Just try to find something of equal value. If you have a move that nerfs an enemy stat by 1 stage, change it to a move than nerfs an enemy stat by 1 stage, not 2 stages or 2 different stats. If you have a move with 30 attack, don't replace it with a move with 80 attack, replace it with a move that also has 30 attack. As long as the move you switch to does roughly the same thing but with a different type, it should be fine.
>>94189224You can take retention for more TM slots. HMs are just passive skills I thinkAs for replacing a natural with a tm i htink its fine since you are paying extra and nerfing yourself bad by lowering your movepool.
>>94189199You'll have to use your own judgement to some extent. I don't know about a pre-compiled list, but if you compare them manually, I'd multiply the base power by the accuracy, and if the new one's value differs from the old one by no more than... oh... 10%, I'd say it's in the same "tier". You could try factoring in PP (multiply BP*Acc by PP/5?), but I don't think that's necessary.
>>94189248nta, but the CYOA says straight out that HMs take up a TM slot.
>>94189224You have limited slots but can switch the move when in a safe place. Using a TM/HM is not instant so it should be done in the town or some kind of camp.
>>94189234>>94189248>>94189250Thanks.To be more precise, I'm trying to make a Steam Elevator Operator. I have Magmar as a base, so I added a Water type to it, and I'm wondering if I can swap https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Fire_Blast_(move) for https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Steam_Eruption_(move)#Learnset (same PP and power, a bit higher accuracy, but I want it for powering up the elevator, so I don't know if missing there matters). If not, then I thought about making a bootleg of that by linking some fire and water move. Would that workAnd one more question, what are the Berry Types, and do they not count as food considering there is a separate Food Supply option?
>>94189036Yes, in the game you can link every move you have. In this one the max would be 7. They fall apart when one of the moves runs out of PPs tho, so if you have say Fireblast you can only use the supermove 5 times and then they go back to being 7 different moves.

>>94189079So are we allowing Legendaries to be isekai'ed or should I still redo Mewtwo?
>>94189049>There are 19 baby pokemon totalHuh
>>94189344Legendaries being isekaid is gay and boring but no one can stop you. Just don't expect a tremendous amount of interaction.
>>94189324In PMD berries only fill up the hunger bar by 5 points each, with I think a couple that give 10. Food Supply is instead for filling food, because the dungeons drain your hunger faster, they mostly diffrent kinds of apples, the basic one fills 50, big one fills 100, Perfect overfills you to 50 and increases max hunger for that expedition. In this cyoa the actual numbers matter less but in general they are different foods. Berry Types is just different berries, there are no categories, every berry is it's own thing so just choose one for the allergy. This can be abused because there are like 25% of berries that just do nothing but try to be reasonable.
>>94189324I'm normally a bit meh on borrowing the unique special moves of other pokemon, but the two moves do seem about the same strength and the thematic connection to the build is really strong, so I think that's a perfectly fair swap.
>>94189353nta, but we were expecting interaction?
>>94189344As someone pointed out Mewtwo in particular makes a lot of sense as an isekai in a world with no humans, it's artificial so it should not exist otherwise. Personally I think it's fine, you are very limited in what legendaries you can be already anyway.
>>94189324Berries can be eaten, but they're mostly used for medicinal purposes. The more important ones to know about:Cherri cures ParalysisChesto cures SleepPecha cures PoisonRawst cures BurnAspear cures FreezePersim cures ConfusionOran restores health (HP)Sitrus restores more healthLeppa restores energy (PP)...and there's a bunch of others that are more situational.
>>94189407On a scale of 1-10, how cool is it to pick a berry allergy that's one of those random berries with no effect that only exists to make poffins with?
>>941894191, as I said be reasonable. You can pick stuff that is situational but it should do something at least.
>>94189407>>94189419In PMD, there's only Cheri, Chesto, Pecha, Rawst, Oran, and Sitrus berries. The other berries don't exist.
>>941894191, unless you make a concentrated effort to work it into the narrative somehow.
>>94189380>>94189389>>94189407Alright, thanks! I think I'll grab a Leppa berry supply then. One more question, hopefully the final one. Would having: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Vital_Spirit_(Ability) work to make the pokemon need no/little sleep also outside of battle (so he can operate the elevator longer without breaks).
>>94189407>Oran restores health (HP)>Sitrus restores more healthIn PMD Oranberry is a full heal and increases max HP a bit. Sitrus heals half but if you eat it at max health it increaes it by a lot. Oran is +5 hp each I think, Sitrus is +30. The increases are temporary.
>>94189430I am pretty sure they added more in the more recent ones.
>>94188485Does Foresight work the other way? Would it be reasonable to assume it does in the cyoa?
>>94189433>make the pokemon need no/little sleep also outside of battle (so he can operate the elevator longer without breaks).I think it's reasonable, and makes for cool flavour.
>>94189444That's incorrect, actually. In all games, Oran Berry is +100 HP, and +10 temporary MaxHP at full health. In the earlier games, Sitrus Berry is +100 HP and +2 temporary? MaxHP at full health. In the later games, Sitrus Berry is +200 HP and +5 MaxHP at full health.>>94189475Narratively (in the context of a battle), Foresight sounds like you're predicting the next move of your opponent, either to more easily evade them, or more easily strike at them. I'd think that's how it works.
>>94189430So does that mean Lushian, Tinker, Eitri are illegal builds then?
>>94189505Any other PMD changes to keep in mind? Are Stats the same?
>>94189509Yes. We'll say they died in the Dungeon.
>>94189505I was playing the latest PMD very recently and the Oranberry gave me back way more than 100 and activated the increase every single time. I got to the end of one of the longer dungeons with like 250 healt and I started at 90, I found a lot of berries. I am not sure about Sitrus because it's very rare so I could not test it but I remember it being permanent if you eat it at full health. The other guy was even nerfing Sitrus. Also Foresight is the move the lets you hit Ghost Types with Normal type moves. I asked if it also allows Ghost to hit Normal Types, but it's a pretty situational move so I should have specified. What you say makes a lot more sense narratively.
>>94189462They did not, at least not according to these two sources:https://game8.co/games/pokemon-mystery-dungeon-dx/archives/281072https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Berry#Pok%C3%A9mon_Mystery_Dungeon_series>>94189509I guess so, but my build's Mewtwo, so I can hardly complain about illegality.>>94189547No, stats are completely different in PMD. From the wiki:>Effort values (EVs) and individual values (IVs) are not elements of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Instead, each Pokémon has a set of base stats, which increase by fixed amounts when they level up. Stats may further increase through the use of Gummis, health drinks, Sitrus Berries, and other items. Non-HP stats can be raised to a maximum of 255; HP can be raised to at most 500 in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, or 999 in other games. After archive delving, I am thinking of picking up where the previous Mewtwo anon left things, with a Mewtwo that recently awoke, and is learning about the world.
>>94189509I will change it to Pecha in the rentry in a bit.>>94189556Lushian already died, he will just keep coming back.
>>94189575Oh, I liked the jock being forced to become a brainiac in a world he knows nothing about. I guess baby Mewtwo is also cool. Also some of the mechanics of the cyoa already contraddicts some of that informations so it's not just 1:1 mystery dungein rules.
>>94189344>>94189353Archieposter here. I know it's a rulebreak and I'm essentially pleading that I'm special, but...I think Type: Null specifically is in a very weird spot.>Artificial, unlike most Legendaries and Mythicals>Evolves (unlike every Legendary with the exception of Cosmog)>Not ancient (unlike Magearna)>Not super powerful either, even as Silvally (unlike Mewtwo)Given the above, I genuinely didn't think it WAS a legendary. Ah shit. If I take Individual Value (Movement Speed (that's the name of that stat in PMD, right?)) twice, can it counteract being slow from Retard? As in physically slow; mentally slow is fine. I want him to be extremely mentally handicapped, but fast at his very limited work tasks.

Usually, it results in some... "complications". In this case, those were rather unusual.Magmars live in extremely hot environments, such as volcanoes. Yet, somehow, one of their eggs managed to tumble into an icy stream. Even more amazingly, it managed to hatch.Epsilon, for that what he was called, seemed healthy at first glance, but some deviations were detected as he grew. First of all, his type is an unusual one, where instead of fire, he produces steam, and very proficiently at that. His body temperature is also much lower than that typical of his kind, and he doesn't set everything on fire with a touch. Unfortunately, he's also an absolute imbecile, and will never evolve into a magmortar.Luckily, the Relic Town had a perfect place for someone like him. Put in charge of operating one of the steam elevators, Epsilon has found his true calling. Always, restlessly at work, his elevator operates at peak efficiency. Adventurers that call for him know that they'll get to their destination on time. At the top, they can also count on nice weather and a warm meal at his house while he quickly unpacks their cargo. (What they can't count is a stimulating conversation, but you can't have everything.)These qualities made Epsilon the very best liftmon in town, which he'd be proud of if he understood what it meant.

Drinking and partying his life away, he took to the life of a stereotypical jock without regard towards others or his own future. One day on a dare he went with a group of his friends to an abandoned mine just for kicks. The last thing he heard before his world plunged into darkness was the sound of footsteps running away... and to his surprise, he woke up from this incident. Buried in the dirt and stone, he clawed the earth in front of him for hours, inch by inch. When he emerged, he found that he was no longer in that same mine, nor in the same body.He had become some sort of walking statue inside long abandoned ruins underneath a brutal unforgiving sun. Whether it was just a dream or a purgatory, he wouldn't let himself be stuck in a place like this. So he marched, fruitlessly searching for a way back to his home. As hours turned into days, he had to accept that the life he once had was beyond his reach, and focusing on survival was paramount. Unfortunately his new form served as a walking coffin, unbearably slow despite its immense power. He could barely survive against the threats in this no mans land, and he would have perished if not for the timely interventions from another trapped soul. A lone walking cat came across the man who served as his own gilded cage and asked him his name, vowing to serve and spread his glory as a living remnant of a lost civilization. Simon didn't hesitate to accept the offer. His old life is now gone.Long live Ozymandias, King of Kings!

He dove into the dungeon's depths in search of fortune and glory to sate his desire to prove everyone wrong, that he was destined to live and die without remembrance. It wasn't long before he found himself utterly outclassed, forced deeper and deeper into the depths as he was chased by rampant mon's who had lost their mind. Only when he had reached the deserts was he given reprieve, for no creature would dare take their chances in this graveyard of the damned. He may be damned, but he was a survivor. This wasteland wouldn't put him down, not if those threats before then couldn't. Lying, cheating, killing pokemon unfortunate enough to trust him was how he made a life down here. It wasn't like it wasn't uncalled for, most people who were down here could barely string a sentence together in their feral state. Those that could were to be trusted even less, himself included. He had burned too many bridges however to try and amass a party to venture out of this hellscape. It seemed hopeless to continue on in a land deprived of life, until one day he spotted it. A glint of light that could be seen even beyond the horizon. A giant made of gold whose steps shook the earth and sky. Its eyes set straight ahead, journeying to some unknown destination. It wasn't insane like the rest down here, it clearly had a goal in mind. As the colossus staggered and sunk to its knees, he clambered over the dunes offered everything he had. He'd give his life, if it gave it theirs. The deal was sealed.

The Abyss may have stripped him of his accumulated might, but the core of who he was remains, waiting to be rediscovered. Now, Grim must forge a new path, seeking to reclaim the strength that was once his, and perhaps uncovering the truth of his forgotten legend along the way.Grim's Intro:https://rentry.org/grimlegend
>>94195792Then it makes even less sense, Zoroark is a pure Dark type, it's weak to Fighting and definitely not immune to Ghost.

>>94195808Incorrect.
>>94195813Now it makes more sense. I guess it is a good offensive type but in a world where you can't just send out another pokemon when one dies I would say defense is equally important.

Which MP roster had the best drip?
Man PMD REALLY reminds me of the SMT CYOA made by the same author, down to the way the CYOA is supposed to be for a starting player (or in this case mainly for stage 1-2 pokemon) but everyone makes fully evolved buildsNot that the people making builds are at fault, its just due to the way the CYOA and the Pokemon/SMT world works

With Yhwach dead and her inheriting the Almighty (even if she can't use it), the only think it makes since for Ilsabe to do is trying convincing her to take his place. Since he was meant to be her Beholden I guess that also make her beholden to Yui now.
>>94196277Cool, I like the idea behind his name but I also don't know japanese, they say it's the intent that counts.>>94196138Interesting. I don't know if I did a good job hinting at it up to now but Lushian has been dead for a long time, he just does not remember enough to realize it yet. I was thinking that he could have been around when Jinchi was still a Lairon and seeing him evolved and old may start the realization that time has progressed more than he believed. Lushian was very into the whole being a hero thing when alive so he would at least stand out. Does it work for you?
>>94196531To get Almighty, wouldn't she need the Imitation option? Awakening sounded to me like they gave you their power as in Reiryouku, not specific abilities.
>>94196555No idea. I was just going off what the build said.
>>94196277>Angronwe 40k now?
>>94196551Sure, it works.
>>94196555Isn't Awakening just Potential + Imitation?
>>94196284https://myoji-yurai.net/searchResult.htm?myojiKanji=%E4%BB%81%E5%9C%B0This tells me that it's used for surnames (about 100 people), but read as "Ninchi" or "Nichi". Overall, especially for a pokemon, I think it works.
>>94196579If it was just that, wouldn't it specify that on your Benefactors side you can't take unique abilities like with the Imitation?
>>94196579Nta but no. Awakening is Potential X2, you get your own potential and inherit that of your benefactor, which is why how stron the benefactor was is not important for Awakening.
>>94196599>which is why how stron the benefactor was is not important for Awakeningno, you get their power too. We're discussing whether or not you get their abilities too but if you pick a war factor benefactor you still get their Reiryouku
>>94196614NTA, his point was that's less important for Awakening because you have separate potential, not that you don't get their power. Picking Imitation and low benefactor power would mean you actually are at that level and can't grow past it rather than it being added on top.
>>94196627doesn't it take decades and centuries of training to get stronger in this setting?
Which builds fuck with BBWs?
>>94196595Potential gives you the promise of power separate from the benefactor. You don't have the same level of potential as them, and since the cyoa has no option to decide that it's pretty much up to you to decide. You start at basic human tho.Imitation just turns you into a copy of them power wise, both level of power and abilities. You get them immediately.Awakening gives you your own potential like the potential option and the benefactor gives you a base level of power. They don't give you theyr powers tho, only the level of power, which becomes your starting point. This is what I gather by reading the options.
>>94196614>>94196642I think it's like:>PotentialThe higher grade benefactor, the bigger potential you have, so the faster you grow into your power. (The hard mode option really, because of the Awakening bonus points if you are the same type as your Benefactor. Unless the potential is decided freely like anon suggests, that'd make it as weak/overpowered as anon wants.)>ImitationYou just straight up get your benefactors powers and abilities.>AwakeningYou get two types for -20 points, or one type for +40 points (which is double dumb since the snowflake is only -20). You get your own potential + a starting boost from the benefactor (Reiryouku), but no abilities. >>94196636It might, but usually there are some shonen shortcuts. Like bankai should take 10 years, but then the MC gets some tech that lets him speedrun it in 3 days.
>>94196642Following this, picking Awakening with only one origing and Mook level benefactor is strictly superior to picking Potential with Mook benefactor. They give the same points but even a basic Mook level of any of the 4 races is better than basic human.
>>94196663That clear imbalance is what led to everyone taking Awakening, except Mic.
>>94196650>The higher grade benefactor, the bigger potential you haveYou see this would be the logical option from a balance standpoint but the cyoa stresses out that it's YOUR potential, and offers no option to decide that on a point level, which means you have complete freedom of choice there. Alternatively, and that makes much more sense, you potential is your points, the more points you have the higher your potential is.
>>94196650>>94196684>>94196687Honestly it seems to me like the cyoa clearly has a shounen mentality. It gives you the choice between starting with a lot of power but being stuck there or starting weak but with the potential to get way stronger.
>>94196531>So Yui is just bumming around and dealing with stray spirits, right?Yeah, I'm trying to write something about that.>With Yhwach dead and her inheriting the Almighty (even if she can't use it), the only think it makes since for Ilsabe to do is trying convincing her to take his place. >>94196728>Just wanted to take the Almighty out of the equation completely. What a shame then that I'm about to roll future manipulation on my quincy build.
>>94196752
>>94196912But is it too powerful if it's canon power? Shouldn't too powerful be something that no diffs Aizen?
>>94196957nta, but I'd say too powerful depends on your power level. The Almighty is fine if you're a war power, but on any lower level it'd be nerfed.
>>94196982Idk. I interpret too powerful to mean something that breaks the setting because you rolled the power to nuke the multiverse with a thought. Doesn't make sense to me that you'd have to pay a tax for a normal top tier power.
>>94196707>but being stuck thereThat's the thing: this doesn't happen either if you pick Awakening.
>>94197250But you still get way less power than going full potential. If you choose war factor you are giving up on 65 points for power that you could just have anyway later, choosing a canon character despite being powerful still means giving up 70 points for something that you could just get more of with points.
>>94197278If you match with the benefactor, you get the same amount of points.
>>94197250Nobody-Mook-Awakening is just the best regardless of what you want. The only reason to pick a canon character is if you want them dead, and the middle option is just useless.
>>94197293nta, but I think he's claiming that a character with mundane and awakened will eventually reach War Power level and have 65 more points worth of abilities, whereas the people who already picked war power are magically going to sit on their asses without getting any stronger or learning any new skills.
>>94197307You can't learn any new skills other than the ones you get with points, you can only get stronger.
>>94197317
>>94197305The middle option will give you allies. Nobody makes people suspicious and Not Just Anybody makes them outright hostile. That's useless though when you can just buy charisma and being independently strong is better than a bunch jobber allies.
>>94197321New techniques not new skills. You can learn better miracle if you have the miracles skill but you can't learn any if you did not buy the basic level.
>>94197346Proof?
>>94197346So in other words:>My build can compensate for their weaknesses with time and effort but other people's builds can't.Sounds like some hefty cope.
>>94197346cope
>>94197335You can be stronger than the protagonist, and that is something in a shounen, and you can just max charisma or get the harem perk if you want allies. Nobody also does not make people suspicious, it just does not give any connection, which once again does not matter when you can just make people love you.
>>94197370>Nobody also does not make people suspicious
>>94197355The rules of the cyoa, just read better.>>94197359I don't have a build. It's just how the cyoa works.
>>94197370>he's a mind control charismafag
>>94197388Where?
>>94197370Tje first part is literally what he said. The second part is just wrong.
>>94197388Then let me put it this way. The idea that a build with mundane can get stronger than mundane in any reasonable timeframe is completely predicated on the idea that their choice of mundane does not include their own talents. Why is that suddenly different when we're talking about skills? What if the skills we get are the power and potential from our benefactor and we have our own potential on top of that? It's a very bizarre double standard to have.I say either everyone (except imitation builds) can get stronger and learn new skills, or no one can do either. It's one or the other.
>>94197346This sounds retarded and makes builds look far more static than they should be, which is antithetical to a shounen. If they have the potential, they can learn shit and justify it by writefagging.
>>94197346Even if you were right (your not) it also says that you're naturally talented at every skill.
I'm more annoyed that the cyoa forces you into the benefactor route like Ichigo had with Rukia.
>>94197466Simply re-fluff your character and say you were born with it. No one actually cares about the benefactors.
>>94197466Just alive your Benefactor and fuck them and play as your build's child.

Sadly the Aggron has no special accessory, the stone seems to be just directly encased in it's forehead. Most are some kind of collar, Metagross has a braclet.

If it switches in Brick Break and later switches back to Dragon Claw, does the link automatically come back? When he changes to Brick Break, does he lose Iron Claw?
>>94188485For a build that isn't a current fighter, but was one in the past, would it be more flavorful to go Emera Brace + Mega Stone, or TM + [something with the remaining 5 PP]? Not a species with a mega-evolution, so the stone would be used in awakening form.

I'm switching one of my mon's types to dragon and one of the abilities doesn't make sense with the lost type, but dragon doesn't really have any abilities like Blaze or Heavy Metal that are clearly aligned to their type, and Dragon type pokemon are very individual in regards to their abilities.
>>94198568Multiscale is pretty much the only Dragon-specific Ability. Then its stuff like Unnerve or Pressure, which are actually filling the "Generic Legendary ability" slot more.

>>94198631So a dragon/ice Jinx? Sounds like an odd combo. What's the idea behind that?
>>94198660Going for an "Ice Queen/Pampered Princess" idea, where her utilization of Dragon Type Energy is representative of her nobility, "right to rule", and domineering attitude, like most dragon type pokemon have. Picrel is the image I'm using. Build idea is that she'll take Partner, and the Partners will take Partner, and they'll be her little ice type minions (need to decide what Mon exactly, probably Snorunt)

Rolled 94, 50, 108 = 252 (3d204)can't decide. let's try this.
>>94199169Just slowly starting to think about getting back into things and to try to maybe push stuff a bit forward, and for that I'd like to have a clear image of the situation.Looking at generic stuff we know the timing of, there is the White Day (14th) and that April would technically be the new academic year already, but there would be a spring break before that (google tells me the details vary, but like 25th-5th could work as an eyeball). Graduation ceremony for the seniors would be mid to late March (at least normally), and there should also be finals in March too (I think that has been mentioned already, but I don't remember exactly where). From ours, the biggest event is Sandy's attack, and most of the rest runs off that. When was that exactly? Any other stuff I should keep in mind that's not just "a couple days after the attack"?
>>94199243I feel like Inigo-anon's last writefag referenced finals, so if finals are in a consistent timeslot, that might decide where his last writefag goes. Consequently it might move some other stuff around depending on the exact content of the writefag (sorry, it's been a while so I don't know if it'd change anything, I'm just pointing out a possibility).Otherwise it feels like a lot of stuff came one after the other, so it is a pretty tricky stretch of the timeline.
>>94199243Sandy is pretty flexible with time, and I'm sure he'd just say we can move it wherever we need. Considering how much stuff comes after his attack, let's say it happened sometime in the first week.
>>94199185It literally always is
>>94199288Some of it might be before his attack. For example, if Orochi is featured and doesn't have her red hair, then it should be before Sandy's attack since the feral fight happened pretty directly in the aftermath.
>>94199270Ah, found it, it's the bonus scene in "A Flash Of Green". Because it's sort of detached, I don't think it's very timeline sensitive given just that.>>94199288That'd probably work. It is a very cramped period. If it's like in the middle of the first week, then that gives us like a a week and a half till the White day and three weeks till the spring break. The graduation would be like right before the break. The finals being sort of delayed would would probably be not long before that. So, for my own sake would assuming that the timeline looks like this work?:~03.03 - Sandy's attack 14.03 - White day ~20.03 - finals (the Inigo piece mentions just the hero training one, but they'd Aldo have them from other classes, so it'd be s couple days)24.03 - graduation day25.03 - 04.04 - spring break 05.04 - start of the second yearAlso, I don't think we've finalised the dorms situation, but i think it's fine to assume we go with that, right? Timeline-wise, I think it'd be announcement during the graduation day, dorms getting built over the spring break, moving in the first day of the new year.
>>94199398when are internships in all this?
>>9419939I don't know enough about the timeline to say for sure, but it seems fine to me? At the very least the logic seems sound.Starting up the dorm system with the new school year and announcing it before break sounds right to me though. No complaints there.
>>94199398Mistakes were made: >>94199414
>>94199405nta, but internships ended in late December or something. They were over a good while before any of this started.
>>94199405Internships are like months before. Iirc early-mid November to mid-late December, with possible extensions if someone wanted to.
>>94199414Alright, thanks.>>94199434Also, I'm still unsure how exactly they were supposed to work. Were they full-time or after classes or some mix?And before I forget, in the end no one was transferring out, right?
>>94199468I believe they were full-time. Some even moved into their internships and everything. Heck the Koreans went back to Korea for them, so that's defintely full-time.As for transfers... No clue. We might have lost Sora to transfers maybe? That's the vibe his stories were giving me.
>>94199495transferred back to tatooine
>>94199518He'll come back after learning force lightning.
>MHA's crawling out of its grave*sigh*
>>94199536You should be used to it by now.
>>94199468I can speak from experience that two of the internships were full-time:-Popsy and Team PR Disaster-Saurus and the more physically inclined members of 1-D
>>94199495>>94199590So in this case I'd assume that the November/December were full time, and possible extensions after that were after classes variant. It's still a lot of time, so they probably also had a lot of coursework for other classes to do by themselves. Like English, Maths, etc.
>>94199629Yeah, that's probably accurate. Maybe they were stuck with online courses for the non-hero stuff during those months.
KTHbros... are you still there? If MHA came back, so can you!

He saw opportunity in using his experience of deep dark caves to make a living as a bodyguard for others who want to delve into the Abyss. Bugfy is fiercely loyal, but only for his paying clients, and he's only loyal to the point of guarding. No sticking his non-existent neck out to recover bodies or valuables. While Bugfy may realize the crystals he eats would probably bring more income than the spelunking job, he's also curious as to whether the Abyss truly is endless.

So with regards to the Isekai option. Are you supposed to be a human from the pokemon world that has become a pokemon, or are you a normal person who is now a pokemon and is wildin at all these creatures?
>>94200538Unclear. Probably either would be possible.
>>94200538Up to now we have 2 explicit gamers with Archie and Lushian that played the games before the isekai, 3 unclear ones with Red, Sack and Ozimandias that don't mention it, 1 jock that lived in a world where the games exist but being a jock he never played it with JJ, and 1 displaced blacksmith from the medieval ages with Eitri. Honestly either can work, whatever you think is most interesting. I don't think I missed anyone.
>>94200738Sack died in our Earth in the current yeae, he just never played Pokemon
>>94188485>>94193523( I'll be honest, I have no idea where I would get a depiction of these two. How do the descriptions look? I should probably rentry this in the future.)"Arti"Natural Townmon (Former Explorer) Luxio (Chosen)Flaws: Inability (Rivalry), Incompetence (Fighting/Evasion), Bad Egg (Speed), No MovesPerks: Evolution, Skill x2 (Artifice/Tinkering), Skill (Appraisal)Moves: Leer, Spark, Thunder FangPartner "Wisp"Assets: Home, Guild Badge, Adventuring Gear, Chest Cracker, Emera Brace, Mega StoneHeld Item: Cover Band"I used to be a Delver like you, until I took a Hyper Beam to the entire leg."A female Luxio with a perpetual scowl on her face, and electro-mechanical prosthetics replacing her right foreleg and left hindleg. Wears a striped yellow-and-black scarf with a very prominent Delver's Association badge on it, and a small cubical relic on a chain underneath. Nicknamed "Arti" on the basis of her profession, and refuses to share any other name. These days, she works as a relic appraisal and modification specialist. You need to figure out what something does? Need something modified to fit your form, or two things combined? Pay the (admittedly steep) price, and anything can be done. That wasn't always the case, though. She used to be one half of a fairly competent pair of delvers, but then they got overconfident, and encountered some "complications" on a botched delve which resulted in Arti losing two of her legs, and her partner losing his life.Arti longs to go back to exploring, and so is a common sight in the Delver's Guild. Unfortunately, that's mainly because her face appears on rescue posters every other week: her prosthetic limbs will never work as well as organic ones for the fast-and-physical fighting style she refuses to abandon.Known for being stubborn to a frankly ridiculous degree. She seems to hate everyone, but in reality, she really just hates herself; everyone else is just a convenient scapegoat.(1/2)
>>94200943"Wisp"Isekai Townmon (Former Explorer) Vulpix? (Chosen)Flaws: Stunted, Incompetence (Physical), Bad Egg (Attack), Berry 'Allergy' (All)Perks: Type Add-On (Ghost), Skill (Glassblowing), Egg Move, RetentionMoves: Flamethrower, Extrasensory, Will-O-Wisp, Tail Whip, Hex ('Egg'), Dark Pulse (TM)Assets: Guild Badge, Adventuring Gear, Orb Supply (Radar)Held Item: NoneOnce, a Vulpix who wasn't always a Vulpix died. Then a relic, shaped like a small black cube, brought him back. Or did it? Either way, a ghost claiming to be the deceased now stands where a corpse once did. Desaturated practically to greyscale and partially transparent, like a faded image captured on flimsy film, with tails that trail out into wisps of smoke. Goes simply by "Wisp" at this point; he isn't sure any other name could be said to belong to him.To be perfectly clear, being dead is very far from all it's cracked up to be. He can't physically interact with anything, he can't move more than five meters from the relic, and he can't die without the relic itself being destroyed (but can be discorporated and have to return to it for a day or so before reforming). But it's not all bad, either. He's still around, after all, and that has to count for something, right? He can still sort-of interact with things psychically, even if it would be nice to feel them again... And trying to tease out the functionality of relics is still kind of fun, even if he'd rather be out there discovering them.Indecisive, but well-learned, and definitely easier to talk to than his partner. A bit jealous of the living, but tries not to show it too much.(2/2)>>94200738Wisp had some experience with Pokémon as a series, but not the PMD games.
Do ultra beasts count as legendaries?
>>94201117Technically no but mechanically I think you'd have to consider them mythical/legendary since they are stronger than the average pokemon.
>>94201117Banned from VGC Regs that ban legends = legend adjacent in my opinion.
>>94201117Would a UB even work in a PMD setting? You'd be an actual alien to the world. It'd be like Deoxys type situation but even moreso since technically you'd have to have been from someplace in Ultra Space so there'd have to be a rift that'd take place, and that would be even more complicated when you factor in isekai because its like you would've had to been isekai'd twice....Actually now that I say it out loud that sounds funny as fuck. Go for it.
I'll probably repost this tomorrow on the next thread, but here's my first PMD writefag. I made a lot of story elements and characters so if anything seems too egregious then let me know.Sack's First Adventure(Sack, Alpha & co, Epsilon)https://rentry.org/phvfmao6
