An autarch on a carnosaur is a dragon lord. Grab a stegadon and put a wave serpent cannon on it with an elf manning it and now you have your "dino with a laser cannon". I'm painting my first army and this model was the first one that gave me any amount of trouble. Over half the time putting on the base paints has been spent on the weapon alone, and over half of that time on the weapon was spent on just this orb and the frame it sits in. I must have had to go back and correct the black and white each six or seven times, what a nightmare this is to do with shaky hands. It's not perfect but it's good enough and I am so done for today, I've never been this frazzled while painting so far.
