Does anyone have that new Barbarians of Lemuria release that Ludpspherik did, and is it gonna actually be worth money when it's offered generally?
>>94389769>>94389769I backed it and am quite happy with it. I cannot quite parse the second part of your question, so I will dump some info in hopes it provides an answer. I cannot yet speak to the quality of the physical edition, as it is yet to arrive. If you already have a copy of the older Mythic edition, then there is no reason to get it unless you want the new artwork (which is quite good) or the new adventures in the back. The real value from any purchase comes later down the line, as Ludospherik translates the rest of line, and hopefully continues to expand said line. The Kickstater merely provides a refreshed intro point to the system. If you are happy with just the more-than-sufficient core book, then there is no reason to buy anything.
>>94391153Is it just not on drivethrurpg? Come to think of it, none of Ludospherik's stuff that used to be is there any longer.
>>94389769source for that image?
>>94393407Emmanuel Roudier. It's from the French version of Barbarians of Lemuria. Probably in the new English version, roo.
>>94393648>Emmanuel Roudierthanks, my man

>>94393708>BoL explicit edition>explicit warning>shows a little bit of nippleJesus, gamers are such fucking milquetoast pansies today. It's pathetic.

>>94393708>>94394807Based, but is there seriously no place to buy this yet? I didn't back it on Kickstarter because I don't trust Kickstarter projects.
>>94394873Once companies figured out they could shift the risk of investment to he purchaser, it was all over.
>>94395109With little guys like Ludospherik, I get it. They've got minimal liquidity and not much ability to borrow, plus their market is niche and finite. They make a good product, too, I bought the one English Lemurian Chronicles before they bought BoL outright. I would just like to know where to give them money for the pdf of their finished product, lol.
>>94395230It'll probably be available on the Studio 2 website after a few months, after the KS backers have all gotten their stuff. https://studio2publishing.com/Many of the books there now were once KS-only.
>>94395917Seems a blunder to not sell the pdf ASAP. You're creating a big window where pirating it is somewhat further incentivised. I hope it does well, I liked the Lemurian Chronicles splat, their layout work is vastly better, and Emmanuel Roudier's art is a breath of fresh air in this modern era.
>>94394744There's a guy with his cock out in the explicit version.
>>94396239Who cares? It's not like I've never seen a cock before.
They added an illustration for Battle Harness.
>>94396792This was actually in the French version, it gave me a good chuckle when I saw it.
>>94389769hm nyo
This game has the best monsters and art to go with them. I love this shit more than anything in the D&D5 monster manual.
>>94393708God bless brother
>>94409420Roudier's great. Perfect choice for the game/genre.
