There's the usual ADB hackery, but nothing you wouldn't find in prettt much any other HH novel. And for Elfar standards their treatment was downright respectful. Imagine if it was Gav writing it, Jain would've wiffed her first attack and the rest of the book would have been the marines bullying, torturing and raping her before explodinginto Chaos Spawn becauselol random.
