in loving memory of Buck, the NPC guardsman that fucking could
>>94413998The party i'm in does a lot of posting since we do our games online and I started making a habit of consolidating each year into a recap video, which some people here have enjoyed in the past.I got lazy and kept forgetting to do the Year 5 collage, but thankfully Year 6 was pretty closely connected to the events of Year 5 (including both parties getting involved to topple one of the Triumvirate), so putting them together back-to-back felt righthttps://youtu.be/k5bocD6vICM?si=yL4zBBGXbxXJ3mVN>>94414025Good luck, Buck
surprisingly most enemies have natural armor now.
Moar cute yellow elf when she was a girl and spent time in forest/swamps with her Uncle.

There's a 50/50 chance that players in the party use their bonus action to throw things at people. Including their weapons, sometimes.
>>94416116I assume you mean a second dragon, but imagine if a second bug village appeared and started fighting the first bug village which was already being burned by dragon, that would be pretty metal. That would make you say, "damn, those guys must really hate each other".
>>94416570IIRC, they were actually accompanied by a bunch of dragonlance Draconians and kobolds.
>>94413998It's only halfway done, but this plan has been in the making since the PC got wind that the Dgirl NPC found an artifact in "The Mines."
I try to make a few memes in each game I play, i'll even occasionally commission some art for them. >>>/wsg/5737470
I ran the 5e version of Curse of Strahd a while back. My players had sought out several of the key items the module tasks them to find to defeat Strahd and one player was absolutely convinced that there was some kind of anti-vampire superweapon hidden in the dungeons of Castle Ravenloft. This culminated in him regularly mentioning "The Gun That Kills Strahd" and now they needed to find it. I was extremely disappointed when after exploring several of the tombs beneath the castle, they managed to miss the one that contains an actual firearm.
>>94413998It's low effort but I had to slap it together in like 30 seconds. I got some very lucky rolls against a dude who absolutely could have just pasted me and managed to close out the fight by snapping the boss' neck.
Made this for a wargame that took place in the Avatar setting.
I scribbled this as a shitpost while we were playing, and afterwards came back and inked and colored it in; while visiting a chapel to try and get a weapon blessed for some ritual, a gang of drow released ghasts into the church through a cellar passage, before swinging in to try and coup de grace our presumably paralyzed persons as spiders covered the outside of the building and knit webbing over the windows to block the sunlight. The first guy landed right next to the rogue and paladin.
>>94421824heh, i got one of those too

From an old VTM game in my "10 gorillion hours in MSpaint" folder
>>94422149Do you have the blank template for this?
>>94421261I have a similar one (lost sadly) where out rogue looks down on the city from the rooftops at night, looking all cool like a ninja and goes "where the fuck am I???"
>>94414494How's a nigga gonna borrow a banana? Is you gonna give it back?
>>94420162>I receive: your hatGiving bad guys memorable hats should be the norm for that exact reason.
>>94424288I'm sad you lost it, that sound fucking hilarious.
>>94424922In this case it was a mask imbued with the legend of Heracles. We were prisoners in a gladiator arena and our final boss to beat before salvation was a scrawny kid... except when he put on the mask he became absolutely terrifying. He killed all but one NPC ally (and got several very near misses against PCs) before I was able to successfully grapple him and snap his neck. We'd had a lucky/almost perfect run to that point so if anything else had gone wrong we probably wouldn't have made it. And his bonus to oppose my grapple was high as fuck so I got lucky there too. Bonus story I don't have a meme for: our only casualty before that was an unassuming old man who turned out to be a lightning wizard. His whole contribution to combat was:>"let me show you kids how it's done!">rolls to cast lighting >rolls a flat 100 in a d100 roll-under system>strikes himself from the blue>falls unconscious We had to pause the game because everyone was laughing so hard.
>>94425195He failed every single check it was pretty funny
breakdown of party dynamics
Sadly I am technologically illiterate so I don't know how to put Auril's stupid owl face here
>>94425743Magic select in Paint 3D to remove the head and just pasting it in any image editor is my nigger-tier solution usually.
>>94425751Is there anything that can be done on mobile or should I just get used to shitposting on my PC?
memes about my 30 years war campaign

>>94425482Sounds like a pretty kickass boss fight.SO far my players have been pretty successful in either cheesing or avoiding the most dangerous shit I throw at them.>>94425805>30 years war campaignCare to elaborate?
>>94426002players are part of a third rate mercenary group called Anselm's miseries in the beginning stages of the 30 years war (our next session will be the battle of Lomnice). not only are they third raters, they're the third raters of the third raters- them, and every other foreigner, ex-prisoner, peasant or anyone who cant be trusted for one reason or another are formed into a mismatch of shock troopers meant to lead the charge into a city during the siege, or hold a city when it is under attack while the more valuable pike/ and shotte formations fight in open field. They're expendable, have a terrible attrition rate, and whatever loot they have is usually eyed over by troops of better standing, but its the only outfit that would hire a -highly neurotic and prejudiced Anglican who is clearly lying about his noble background-ex-pirate ex-prisoner who escaped the death penalty-plague doctor who has been ran out of countless cities in Italy and barely knows how to use a knifeso its the best chance they've got to make some money and keep their guts full in what will be one of the most tumultous moments in the early modern period.I'm running it in gurps with ultra-lethal combat rules so if they get hit in the head hard enough they could die of brain bleeding a few days later and such.
>>94421261lmao perfectnice deets on the glass shard cuts

>>94426218Man I wish I knew enough about the 30 years war and that era to run a game set in it. Every time I delve into that conflict I come out with more questions than answers. What system?
>>94424288That sounds great, rip
>>94413998This one is special to me because apparently one of the players thought it was so funny he just quotes it irl with the same facial expression, even outside the game.
>>94413998
>>94429348GURPSits a fascinating conflict. im taking a early modern ireland course rn and one morning i woke up like a bolt of lightning struck me and i thought "i need to get into the thirty years war, right now" and so I did.i pestered a german->english translator for the unpublished translation of the epic Wallenstein and went from there. its a great story to set a conflict in, and with some creativel iberties you dont exactly have individuals who can change the fate of history, but they can witness it go by.
