I do indeed have a few suggestions for drawbacks, though they're nothing groundbreaking and you'll have to fluff them out into something suitably Skyrim-flavored.

Magic isn't too overpowered in Dragon Ball. Mafuuba is a double-edged sword that can capture people equal to or slightly stronger than you, and you risk being killed from the backslash if they are equal to your strength. In the fight between Goku and Zamasu (Kaioshin), Goku is vastly stronger than Zamasu but can't put down the annoying pest because Zamasu is immortal, so he uses Mafuuba and suffers no drawback. That situation is like a level 100 character vs. a level 15 character that uses an instant encounter end move that depends on level for success chance. And Dragon Ball can make a planet and restore a ruined world; that's pretty amazing.

In Dragon Ball, the meta is to raise your magic or special ability as far as you can without danger and train your physical ability after for at least a year. Buu can only absorb Gohan after thrashing him with Gotenks and Piccolo power to weaken him. I don't say special ability is weak, I mean everything is a weapon and you should try to use them in an optimal way and don't forget to train your physical in case of sneak attack. Sneak attack is the meta on Earth because Roshi's style is the only successful style that survives and thrives after Demon King Piccolo's rampage.

It wouldn't be so bad if some of the stats weren't super abstract. Strength, Intelligence, Speed, Endurance, and Firepower are fairly straightforward. But since this is meant to be a more realistic setting, trying to argue that Courage, Skill, and Rank are inherent components of your robot body just feels weird.

Maybe in the far future I'll attempt what I did with GunGrave and make a standardized robot builder, but even now typing that out I recognize how much work that'd be for so little payoff.

And so she starts beating killing guards... and dynasts and then immaculate monks called because of anathema, Wyld hunts and... well honestly by the end of the fourth year she's probably literally fought through most of the realm much to Jumpers horror at her sheer capability for violence and tears the scarlet empress off her throne.

What sort of things would you want to see in a Supernatural update? Most of the elements that could be taken from the later seasons seem... difficult to implement. Better representing Death and the reapers I could see working. Maybe a Hunter perk for tangible plot armour and having none of one's deaths matter.

Yeah Merela doesn't have all the tech and resources starting out here but hell if she doesn't really need them. She's still massively personally powerful. I imagine a decent chunk of Dynasts would just bend the knee once it becomes obvious they can't win plus the Queens social skills (And what small effect Jumper has admittedly for trying to smooth things out.) I imagine the Ochre fountain gets refounded on the blessed island.
The sidereals are probably definitely scrambling though from this. It's basically chepaks nightmare made reality.

I'm sort of running her as someone... very used to being in charge and capable. Spending a few millennia as basically THE solar exalt at the top of the pyramid of exalted society will do that. Very direct, perhaps a bit forceful and blunt given her origins as a gladiator in the time before the primordial war. But not inherently a bad person. Especially when freed from the great curse. She's a warrior through and through and enjoys fighting but thats far from the only role she can do if only from the sheer breadth of experience.
I imagine in a way she's fairly lonely in a way. Power tends to be isolating they say and I think most if not all of her original circle mates are dead by the time exalted the first age is assumed to start.

I could see a massive chunk of creation getting conquered though by the time the decades out. I imagine the Jumpers still going to want and try and go on a few adventures himself though outside of the long long shadow cast by his boss. So hopefully he'll be able to do that.

The general idea is that Mamono tend to be stronger then humans, but a Lich, Vampire, Slime, Genie, and Succubus who’ve been Mamono for less then two hours put together aren’t fighting off multiple heroes, so we have to get out of there quickly.

Yeah adjusting stuff to work on less infrastructure or building up a framework will probably take a bit. Some workarounds are bound to be possible though.

Potentially, most saints aren't worth shit in Coiling Dragon, even then they might still have a really weak body because they only went through the mage path rather than dual cultivating both. They can be dangerous if they manage to get really lucky with the insight they gain of course but it's rare. Linley for example managed to gain insight into vibrations if memory serves and could use it as a soul attack which wasn't something a saint could defend against as dealing with or defending your soul is more a demigod level insight.

They have no real defence against the social stuff either, CD cultivators are kinda well balanced when compared to the chad chinaman norms from other novels. So they'd not be able to just power through on sheer autistic pride like someone from say a Desolate Era Wanxiang level could (or maybe Primal Daoist thats when the mind gets a massive upgrade iirc).

To get to the brass tracks a dual path saint would ruin the solars day in a physical engagement but would lose to anything really esoteric or non physical thrown at them.

Coiling Dragon is more western in it's culture, or at least the stuff we see from Linley's point of view is pretty western. There's not overly much of the typical xianxia stereotype shown when compared to other stuff. There's still some, the 8 clans shitting on the 4 clans is the primary example but for the most part it reads like a western attempt at a Xianxia. Stellar Transformation, the sequal (kinda but not really) for example does go full stereotype so I've no idea what happened there but CD is pretty chill.

Caoiling Dragon, like most cultiuvator stories, is literary garbage when viewed on its own merit. Almost all dialogue is just continuous exposition dumps and glazing, the pacing is atrocious, and filled with "and then X happened because its convenient for the story" with very poor justification.

That's fine, I was trying to do something fun and interesting. You could work to earn your jumps and there was a element of randomness since you don't know what you are unlocking. However if you don't like it fine. Try this it's kind of boring but it's simpler.

You get a chain. It's a normal chain except for your first twelve Jumps. First choose 3 jumps, those will be your first 3 jumps. Then take them in random order. When done repeat that process 3 times. After that you can do what you want. What are your first 3 jumps?

My problem with that chainbutt is that the restrictions are too nebulous. Some jumps could fit into the framework like minecraft, but other jumps don't fit at all. What constitutes a challenge? What level of risk is necessary? Are the unlocks scaled to the challenge? It is a roll chain except there is an extra hoop to jump through because the reader has the burden of making it make sense in their head.

Well for the difficulty it will likely be a powerful jump that is one you really want, it can be something to do with motorcycles, Rock and Roll or facing absurd obstacles and not dying. Something that combines multiples of those probably more likely, If the Exalted Abyssals jump had motorcycles in it, I would say that would be an almost sure bet.
