What's the absolute worst thing you've ever done to a defeated opponent?We sort of dismembered a woman and sold her daughter off to be whored out, but like ironically.
We've never done anything notably bad to defeated opponents. The closest would be killing enemies in combat in uniquely gruesome ways, like that time we tricked a yuan-ti high priestess to suck up too much divine energy and she exploded.

I was playing a campy evil villain character who did the following to one guy>get tasked by a noble to recover his daughter who ran off with a peasant boy>find out that they’ve been captured by a demon, free them both>they beg the party to let them go, for the noble is evil and wants to marry his own daughter>say “not my problem”, specifically to the peasant boy>bring the daughter back, request the land of the peasant boy’s family>Jack up their tax, they beg to reconsider as winter is soon, tell them to manage or lose their land>do all this while looking smugly at the boy>later in the campaign we have to fake our deaths, we leave evidence that only the boy could find that we’re alive>turns out he becomes a cleric of Tiamat out of his desire to get revenge on us>he finally corners us>we beat his ass>we cut his arms off and sell him to the dark fey circus, keeping him alive>we send his arms to the other party (run by the same GM) who was friends with the boy and was helping him find usJust thought it would be fun to create a fantasy hero to crush over and over. Sadly the game fell into hiatus as the DM got deported and was too depressed to continue, even though it was online the whole time anyway
We've done the whole>use regenerating creature to breed parasitoidsthing before. But they were deep in unconsciousness from all the negative HP so it might not count.Other than that, probably leaving magically paralyzed enemies to starve/dehydrate to death? Evil campaigns have had a number of unpleasant deaths and there was torture into ritual sacrifice but that feels so dry mechanically that it almost doesn't count.
