Thinking of doing a zelda chain. What order should I do the three timeline splits in?

I still stand by the belief that the timeline doesn't exist, all games are their own thing unless explicitly a sequel and Nintendo only says there's a timeline to milk money from faggots who saw patterns where there wasn't any

I don't know what the heck breath of the wild is in terms of the timeline but I'm pretty sure it goes at the end.

Hello thread. I have an important clarification to make about the 1200 CP version of End of Worlds in MCU part 3. Judging from the fact that the Watcher makes his mortal friends coming to rescue him INTO NEW WATCHERS, the fact that Watchers can potentially ERASE EVERY FUCKING VERSION OF A NON-WATCHER CHARACTER FROM THE GODDAMN UNIVERSE and in spite of all this in Season 1 Infinity Ultron was WINNING the fight with the Watcher I must confess two things:

1. Your powers are a little itty bitty bit more than world killing! Just a little bit.

2. If you don't choose to be something like a universe-eating giant cloud, you CAN in fact give other people your goddamn "mere" humanoid frame-limited reality warping cosmic powers.

In conclusion, I tapped out of the MCU at just the right time.
>>
>>94688158
>https://wiki.smutosaur.us/CoC/Madeleine
I would.
>>
>>94688168
So it's safe to say you won't make any more spite made jumps about the capeshit slop that appeals to the lowest denominator that is white suburban moms?
>>
>>94688191
Definitely. The MCU has dug it's own grave, and DC has not only destroyed it's own movie continuity but news outlets can't seem to decide if early viewers love or hate Gunn's Superman which is...not a good sign. So no, I'll probably never be invested in capeshit enough to do it again.
>>
>>94688168
Would it be fine to lower the price of the perk for how easy it is to get?
>>
>>94688201
At least we won't have to see you suffer from the inevitable butchering of Magneto being a Holocaust survivor like they did in Civil war (comic not MCU).
>>
>>94688201

Now, question, how far am I, with just this build, from actually coming to grips with the drawbacks I took? This information will help me determine where to put it in my chain.
>>
>>94688158
This is a female cookie, right?
>>
>>94688224
I am going to be honest: God Winds alone basically mandates you flee the country or die, either to the Linger Straits or possibly to wherever Paige found past the Wastelands where apparently there are no gods. And the only known ways to deal with A God Hungers in-setting are to ward yourself like crazy (keeping in mind wards merely delay even lesser gods) and run like hell. At this point with that alone, you can forget caring about the Parish, and assuming you can escape the hotel you are basically trying to outrun two hurricanes at once without a vehicle.

This is not a merciful or power fantasy-enabling setting. Most of your build isn't actually relevant for surviving the threat level you've chosen, and your chosen item could actually make things worse.

>>94688223
sigh, they really want to do mutants don't they

>>94688210
I already feel bad enough about pricing an Infinity Gauntlet on it's own at 600 CP (I will remind everyone that strictly speaking, the full set of stones is nowhere near the universe-warping power of all 6 stones harnessed properly by a tool. Hence why it's 300 CP just for the stones, and an additional 300 for the tool). I'm still processing the absolute horseshit I just saw, but I'm probably not going to lower it considering that the known way of becoming a Watcher is still. You know. Having another Watcher bestow the powers on you. And since Captain Carter died from overuse of them, it's hardly safe or easy to try to bullshit an alternative for yourself given based on what we know even Celestials (and therefore What If? Agatha) ain't shit by comparison

>>94688252
>God Winds alone basically mandates you flee the country or die
Uh, the drawback is not worded as 'this is happening immediately on drop in' and is phrased as a looming problem you're supposed to actually entrench yourself to solve? If your intent was that you should just run away since it's an instant calamity on your head with no saving throw, that feels like the wording is bad.
>>
9anon, if you became a Dungeon Core or Genius Loci would MPC allow you to alter your dungeon/domain, or would you still have to upgrade it to be able to change properties first?
>>
>>94688252
Actually to build on this >>94688266 it's just a bad drawback flat out, if the object of the drawback is that you just fucking leave the known setting for a safe location. At that point, any kind of movement option- literally a car by your own words- trivializes it and makes the entire jump moot by wiping whatever plot might have happened.
>>
Given how amazing Christmas was, I'm guessing everyone is spent for New Years? In terms of jumpmaking, I mean.
>>
>>94688277
NTA, but he was speaking specifically for that anon's build not being able to handle it. Not necessarily generally.
>>
>>94688266
>and is phrased as a looming problem you're supposed to actually entrench yourself to solve?
Uh, just to clarify it IS a looming problem but there is only one confirmed solution to it in the setting: Being the Saint of another Rhetorical God and telling the winds to fuck off in the opposite direction. Since in-universe, the reason why the God-Winds become a problem at all is because Val decides to just fucking wreck civilisation to free humanity from gods or some shit.

>>94688277
Also yes that's a good point actually, hang on I'll change it so the God-Winds are chasing you specifically.

>>94688278
I am at least. Even I probably can't make a jump on 3 days' notice.

>>94688281
While yes, the problem is definitely compounded by taking other drawbacks at all I also do feel that just reading the document and knowing ahead of time you can survive by just getting out of town is a bit lenient.
>>
>>94688260
>can it do biomancy?
It created the dragon Grima so yee.
>>
Actually, quick proposal everyone: How do you all feel about me bumping down the God-Winds drawback as is for 100 CP, and then adding the "the winds are homing in on you like the eye in the storm" part to be the 300 CP version?
>>
>>94688139
Do the Average Zelda Jump first in anycase.
>>
>>94688281
Going by what the drawback apparently does, I don't actually see a better build to deal with the situation? My build was made with the intent of dealing with the God-Winds in the most straightforward way possible, by just organizing people and gods into a secure arrangement that is better equipped to do whatever must be done to collective benefit. Frankly I'm baffled at what Shard was thinking anyone should do to survive the drawback besides bring in OCP at this point
>>
>>94688289
It feels that an easily chain ending event that requires a lot of personal effort and cooperation with many other agents to overcome should not be 100 CP.
100 CP drawbacks should be things that are challenging on a personal scale, but not that bad.
>>
>>94688289
I think you should remove the drawback if it's just a power check of 'do you have city scale reality warping' as seems to be the requirement for beating it.
>>
>>94688294
>Frankly I'm baffled at what Shard was thinking anyone should do to survive the drawback besides bring in OCP at this point
To be fair, there are many high CP drawbacks that are not meant to be survived without OCP, or that at the very least have such a small chance of survival that you may as well end the chain there. Specially if you are also pilling on more drawbacks.
>>
Hate that I can't use the word Unburdened in my jumps lest people think I'm referencing recent cringe events.
>>
>>94688294
>I don't actually see a better build to deal with the situation?
Not that I like to DM builds, but I would like to point out that the compounding effects of the other drawbacks (being stuck in a god-haunted building, a different high-tier god deciding to fuck with you personally, the Parish's ire) will greatly compound attempts to accomplish the (actually reasonable) solution of organising people to steer their gods into productivity. God-Winds, like all the 300 CP drawbacks, are things I'd advice you to take on their own if you're only using in-jump stuff to deal with them.

(Alternatively, hide behind the Saint of War)

>>94688296
My line of reasoning was that the solution to merely surviving it as written is "get out of town" even if this is your jump #1, but fair enough.

>>94688298
It's a power OR Xtreme diplomacy check, but I suppose that's always an option. Any ideas for a replacement 300 CP drawback?

Not committed to anything yet guys, just running all options as I tentatively rewrite the drawback
>>
>>94688300
But that's counterintuitive in this case because the drawback is framed in a way that you're supposed to actually prepare for it, but the solution Shard had in mind seems to be just buying the 600 point Saint option and negating the threat outright.
>>
>>94688305
I wouldn't even make that connection unless you followed it up with the rest of the line.
>>
>>94688310
Again I'd like to clarify that I also think you have a chance with 600 CP (2 capstones') worth of charisma/plot armour to survive God-Winds without immigrating to the Straits, it'll take longer but you also don't have to be hallowed by a god or risk overexerting yourself like Val.
>>
>>94688305
>Hate that I can't use the word Unburdened in my jumps lest people think I'm referencing recent cringe events.
Que?
>>
>>94688322
He's doing the equivalent of saying you can't say great without someone immediately jumping to politics. You have to be particularly obsessed to think like that.
>>
>>94688306
>being stuck in a god-haunted building
I just leave the building after a while? Shard, I'm sorry to say I think that drawback is free points because despite having framed it as a possible pitfall, I personally was fulling intending to solve that problem, and the problem of the Parish, by ironically just leaving for the Straits(I didn't realize this would also solve the God-Winds for me, since I thought they would be hit too). I'd just...leave? How long did you have in mind that we'd be stuck in the starting area with that drawback?
I chose the Trawler-Man specifically because I believed that, with his Parish already being both illegal and diminished, it would be a problem that would take a while to get to me even if they knew where I was because they're not really integrated in society at the start, they'd cause themselves problems trying to get at me if I simply participate in society by passively antagonizing said society.
>>
>>94688351
Mmm, it's hard to explain but the starving god that was the basis for that example is like a bogeyman that tries to gaslight you into staying, investigating further and making you get stuck in the routine of living in the hotel until it can eat you. It's not a Trawler-Man level powerhouse but it is supposed to be dangerous and tempting enough that you'll at least have to go through some emotional turmoil to break out.

Going to dinner now, feel free to leave any further comments about the drawbacks for when I get back.
>>
>>94688362
I got that, but my personal idea of the solution to that problem and not knowing about it was God Hungers drawback; I would know that I'm being hunted by a bigger, badder god, so I'd plan to run the fuck away without even realizing I'm also escaping the clutches of another, more insidious god.
Anyway, I think making it clear how much time we have before the God-Wind hits and also changing the criteria of the Drawback in question makes sense. Say, instead of just surviving it coming for you, it does have a fixed target and we have to make sure that target survives mostly, if not wholly, intact.
>>
>>94688380
Hmm, point taken; I was already leaning towards just making God-Winds both more immediate and focused on you specifically. Regarding the hotel, since it’s confusing and localised anyway as is I’m thinking about just scrapping the drawback and replacing it with something else since striking a balance between being mindfucked by the comfy hotel and not making it trivial is tricky. Either being grievously wounded in an unspecified conflict (either missing an eye or a limb, or being generally banged up to the point doing most things is painful and you can’t take a hit nearly as well) or being hunted by the Angels of a nature/tech/non-major or abstract god (something like the killer deer Carpenter had to run from at one point).
>>
>>94688394
I think the hotel drawback is fine as is? The last one you mentioned as a possible replacement is literally just the God Hungers drawback, which is 300 points. It is kind of a middling puzzle boss but I think that's fine for 100
>>
>>94688168
Do you ever think that your brother would be a better jump-maker than you?
>>
>>94688394
>I was already leaning towards just making God-Winds both more immediate and focused on you specifically
...That seems like a bad fix. It just encourages brute forcing the solution even more
>>
>>94688417
I’m open to suggestions. Because I’ll be real, a 300 CP drawback you can dodge by leaving the country doesn’t seem fair either.

>>94688412
No it’s-okay, this is my failure to explain gods properly in the setting. A god turning it’s full attention to you =/= a couple of it’s creations or followers stalking you. It’s the difference between. being chased by Resident Evil monsters and being hounded by the concept equivalent of a raging storm.

I’ll think over the hotel drawback to see if it can be salvaged though, maybe I need to emphasise how like Odysseus and the lotus eaters it starts you lulled into a sense of security with the thing and make you forget you took the drawback
>>
>>94688414
His brother isn't enough of a failure irl like Shard is to end up here anon.
>>
>>94688414
…I have a brother? That’s news to me.
>>
>>94688422
>Because I’ll be real, a 300 CP drawback you can dodge by leaving the country doesn’t seem fair
Just say it locks onto wherever you are after a few months to a year into the jump, and that if that place is not standing after, you fail. You can move around freely to escape it, but it's not about personal survival at that point so it doesn't matter.

>and make you forget you took the drawback
That's the default state of the current drawback though. My answer to that was simply having bigger problems to worry about.

>this is my failure to explain gods properly in the setting
I think the problem is once again one of wording, because the drawback as described talks about angels and the gods servants as the object of the threat it presents. If in actuality, the drawback simply causes ever-present non-localized instant death bullshit to simply occur from no eminent source that can be countered, that's frankly worse than the God-Winds outright.
>>
Where do you think a Kage level jumper would stack up in MHA? Planning on going their after going to Naruto BLACKED and i'm just trying to work out how much my Jumper will curb stomp most of the setting.
>>
>>94688432
His name is yours spelled backwards and he was adopted by different parents after your original father killed your original mother. While you had a normal family and childhood, he was trained by an immortal witch, who owns a pharmaceutical company and drinks the blood of young women to maintain her youth, into a serial killer. He wears a Santa costume all year round.
>>
>>94688452
...Can't decide if this is better or worse than the DekuXBakugo Mpreg pic that gets posted here sometimes?
>>
Changelog

>Slightly rewrote Of Rapture and Bliss to highlight why it's dangerous; the intent of the drawback remains the same
>Rewrote The God-Winds Blow so they hone in on you
>Split A God Hungers For You into 300/600 tiers, one where the thing is basically a Resident Evil level that keeps spamming monsters and gradual, tangible disasters at you, and one where it has potential point-and-smite powers if you go too near it's domain

>>94688440
I prefer to avoid arbitrary loss condition drawbacks if I don't think I fit, and I do feel the question of whether humans can survive a trek through the wastes does matter enough to how the story ends.

>one of wording

While also true, to an extent part of the problem is also that gods are just inconsistent in what they are capable of sometimes. There are some gods that only spam monsters. There are other gods that can look at you and trap you into a play with tangible consequences if you're inside their theatre. And, gods being dumb hungry animals who play with their food sometimes, not all gods that can do the latter do it all the time. So it's not actually clear sometimes, and I decided to just shunt the drawback into tiers.

>>94688463
>after your original father killed your original mother
Bullshit, I know my original mother and her killing intent far surpasses my father's.
>by an immortal witch, who owns a pharmaceutical company and drinks the blood of young women to maintain her youth
Also do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?

Also, as for what I think the problem of 'what are the expressions of a gods power, and how might you survive them' I think it comes back to the small notes section. There, you say that Gods are very removed from the world and that they pretty much operate by setting up proxies and smiting those of other gods, and it's also very much implied that gods are constrained to within their places of power, which gives an apparently false impression of locality.
>>
>>94688514
>Yearly gagshit event in my gagshit game, how could this be!?
If you get mad about a Christmas event being silly, the problem is wholly with you.
>>
>>94688521
I directly lifted those notes from the TTRPG and they're not...technically untrue, gods can't just go wherever but like. The Trawler-Man can pop up in practically any river in the Peninsula because he's a big deal and a river god, the Saint Electric has massive coverage because the Peninsula is using her to power most of the electric grid (which is her domain) and the Cairn Maiden can pretty much show up wherever because someone somewhere is always dying.

Yeah I should probably clarify that. Like I said, it's technically true gods can't just march on other gods' domains or outside their own easily, but the exact parameters of their domain can be VERY loosely defined.

Fish people and possibly giant car-sized fish with crab legs and that sort of thing, yeah. Preferably also dexterity, endurance and body armour too since in theory you could be shot at as well. I am using all my jumper's CP in Forgotten Realm to buy a custom magic item(Ring of Veil of Undeath + Life Ward), which comes out at around 400k gp or 1000CP.
It essentially grants you all the advantages of being undead without any of the disadvantages.

Anyone got an Idea for a setting where I could get the ability to make more of them for a reasonable price and time frame? I like the idea of equipping others with them, but DnD crafting isn't really good for that considering the time and xp cost.

Only idea I had was that self-cloning ring option in the Norse Myth jump.

The one saving grace is that I actually like the first episode positing that trying to remove the Hulk from Banner with gamma radiation creates an "alpha" kaiju that can spawn other, smaller kaiju, and that Banner himself can power up into a Hulk Godzilla by supercharging himself to a nuke because it sorta called back to why the Abomination looks the way he does. In the MCU, Blonsky got his powers from an attempt by the US to reverse engineer the Super Serum as well as the Hulk's blood, so unintentional as it was it just seems to confirm in my mind that MCU humans return to zilla if exposed to enough radiation.

Well uhhhh Harley Quinn is making a great big BRAP, Apokoliptan refugees are showing up on Earth after Darkseid's death, and Highfather has sent Orion to kill a baby AGAIN, Lois has Superman powers (again), the Time Trapper wants Superman to kill him so that he can zenkai boost into becoming the god of all time and space (like New Genesis he clearly doesn't know Darkseid already succeeded in doing that), Raven wants to dump Beast Boy, the Justice Society of America hates each other and Darkseid has captured the OTHER pole of the omniverse (the Elseworld) to power himself up so he can surpass his ordained cosmic role as life and hope's counterbalance and is basically playing demiurge before planning to invade the DC omniverse again. So shit is fucked but like. At this point, it is a normal kind of fucked (apart from the BRAP) where Darkseid is winning at life forever, Superman is allowed to have a fleeting moment of happiness with his super-wife, and everyone else exists in perpetual torment so it doesn't really register to me.

She did. She's just like, on an "I'm finding myself" arc now because I guess DC thinks teenage girl drama is in and raping your teammates because you've succumbed to your demonic bloodline's inherited wickedness is out. Specifically she was having a bad day because it was the day her mother died and Beast Boy wouldn't stop being a haha whacky manchild for 15 seconds trying to cheer her up. Also she immediately got isekai'd to a magical land where she was last seen pouring her heart out about her parent issues to some blonde coven's heir who is, I have to be honest, a way better potential husbando than Beast Boy is editorially allowed to be.

>>94688695

My build was made with the intent of dealing with the God-Winds in the most straightforward way possible, by just organizing people and gods into a secure arrangement that is better equipped to do whatever must be done to collective benefit.
God's in the Silt Verses are not people or even heavily anthropomorphized abstraction of concepts. They are things that exist solely to kill, eat, and spread. It's like you gave a slime mold malice and divine power. They are not going to help and will actively kill and eat all involved, even if it means their own destruction. This is not a setting with 'good' gods.

>>

>>94689275
Pretty damn well.

>Are they comparable to a cathay dragon?
Probably short of a lesser god (like the emperor and empress are) but the younger dragons are compared to greater daemons, so well within reach of an E4-5 Dragonblooded to battle. Chaos talks a lot of shit about being ineffable and abstract, but in the material world they're sufficiently solid that they need specific spells to avoid, say, being defeated by having large rocks dropped on them. Easy pickings for a Dragonblooded, especially one with a spirit-killer charm. In some areas (being an ACTUAL dragon, sorcery) they far surpass Dragonblooded, but then again they don't have the comprehensive excellence of Charms so I imagine it all evens out.

Don't go near the Wood Elves, they're fucking crazy and it's a coin toss how they'd react to a non-elf/non-elf patsy with supernatural influence over nature.

>>94689357
As long as you can reach the gods, I suppose? It's kind of vague if the gods like-live in some sort of parallel spirit world plane to physical reality, or if they're just abstract forces that briefly incarnate. And of course, gods vary hugely in power and purview. But as long as you can somehow hurt something that's more phenomena than entity, they're all over the place and many rival cults would cheer you on as long as you're not killing THEIR god.
>>
>>94689357
They're not physical and might not even be entities beyond incarnating as disparate phenomena, on top of forming whenever anyone anywhere performs even the mildest action relating to a given concept. If you can harm and attack things that are just random phenomena, then there are so many gods you can kill in-setting without issue.
>>
>>94689424
Could there be a god of BTFOing Gohan? Could there be more than one?
>>
>>94689424
>>94689409
Pretty sure that Campione deal with that already. In the main series they travel to various spirit worlds, including the underworld and some realms of specific gods, and in the sequels they are travelling to god-worlds that are basically mythological stories locked up in those mythos so gods can play around.

>>
>>94689450
Yes, I'm aware. I'm saying that there isn't actually a spirit world that Silt Verses gods emanate from, as far as we know. They're just phenomena that manifest when people do any general action or have even the slightest thought that can be associated with whatever concept they manifest from. If Campione can't actually target phenomena as a whole, then they might not be able to address the problem.

Truth be told I don't know much about Campione, but like the other guy said the issue is there might not even be a spirit world. The Cairn Maiden talks about gods like they're a competitive ecosystem, but the Cairn Maiden has a different perspective on most things and the gods in the wasteland sure as hell don't seem to have any ability to escape their predicament. Based on circumstantial evidence, Silt Verses gods are like storms of belief, strong emotion and concept that just rise up and die down.

I had a few questions about your Base of Operations supplement.

What is the light situation without purchasing the option for it? Is everything visible?
Can Decontamination remove radiation or corruptive/unwanted energies? At the higher tier would it be possible to decontaminate/remove unwanted stuff from the Base at large?
It might be a bit of an ask but I think making a single purchase of Base Aesthetics free is a better approach than just changing the Warehouse look into a bunker look for the sake of differentiation.
>>
>>94689572
Konosuba needs some competent people.
>>
>>94689637
Kind of actually, except Silt Verses gods are both more abstract and way dumber than Chainsaw Man demons, and also the humans have figured out how to generate and shape them. Not quite control them, but render them predictable and relatively tame with a combination of marketing and targeted propitiations to reshape them through their public images.

Er, the bureaucratic city humans that is. The actual faiths of gods tends to take their own god a bit more seriously.

Fun punch Out fact I just wanted to get out there:
Apparently early in development, it was Princess Peach who was supposed to enter the Last Stand to fight Little Mac and kidnap him to Smash.
It was changed to DK, because they didn't want to make the bloodied and beaten model for a girl.
I like to think that, in-universe, Peach was all excited to go boxing, and Mario and others had to hold her down while DK went instead.

Yes, but nobody seems to be researching it directly since you've got a much higher chance of making any number of monstrosities like Grima or the Crest beasts unless you know what you're doing to at least some extent like the Agarthans. Outside of all that 'rehousing of souls' and skinwalking mess the Agarthans can get up to, there's a support conversation in Fates where Rhajat mentions a hex that'll turn edible meat into fat, and while she's likely a prodigy to some degree (or at least pushing herself in a similar fashion to Severa/Selena) she's essentially an amateur in terms of how much accumulated knowledge and practical experience she's accrued.

New item for Owlcat's Rogue Tader, feel free to treat any posts such as this as shameless fishing for suggestions.
>Emergency Kit (Free): Given the current ‘situation’ abord the von Valancius flagship it would be more than a little unfortunate if you were entirely unarmed and unarmored, as such you now possess some relatively basic guardsman level weaponry and armor. Likely a set of flak armor and a lasgun though you may swap the armor out for a lightly armored bodysuit and/or the lasgun for a las or auto-pistol and sword or axe if you prefer even lighter armor or a melee weapon. Regardless these likely came from the hands of the loyal to a fault von Valancius Seneschal who has so recently found you and a wide variety of similarly basic gear should soon be accessible on the bodies of the mutinous rabble about to attack you.

Lol. Anyway, idk anything about 40K and probably won't bother with this as a result, but a good ship which accepts imports and some way to use your Jumper stuff without drawing a bunch of heresy claims (?) would be of interest to me. Good luck with the jump.
>>
>>94690537
Are you building the jump around being a Rogue Trader, or can we be a companion to one?
>>
So. Plan

It's the First War, and I don't like the orcs, so naturally I'm siding with the humans. First course of action will be to fly over to Karazhan and kill Mehdiv. Then over to the Blasted Lands to close and shatter the Dark Portal, which will prevent the Orchish Horde from receiving reinforcements. With that done, I'll head down to Stranglethorn Vale, beating and charming the Gurubashi, Skullsplitter, and Bloodscalp tribes into compliance before gathering them in Zul'Gurub.

There I'll summon Hakkar the Soulflayer, and defeat him in mortal combat, tearing as much of his power from his still cooling corpse as I can before his spirit can fully retreat into the spirit world. With that done and the loyalty of the Jungle Trolls of the Vale secure, I'll proceed to do two things. First, instruct the trolls to begin attacking the Orcish Horde. Second, summon into being a grand temple in the center of Zul'Gurub.

My temple will proceed to redirect the local leylines to flow through it, giving me direct access to them while also using them as a vehicle to quickly spread a texture across the planet's surface, imposing new physical and metaphyiscal laws to effectively eliminate the functionality of arcane magic, and severely limit the use of the Light, Fel, and Shadow except when bonded to a potent being of that force. Also, making Goblin, Gnome, and to a lesser extent Dwarven (but not Titan) technology non-functional.

With that said, the goal going forward will be to establish a new Troll Empire.

Beyond the Blue and Bronze Dragonflights, who else is going to want to kill me now?
>>
>>94690506

Having just completed RE4 on Pro with an S+ rank, I would like to remind everyone that the whole of Los Illuminados jobs hilariously to one guy with an M4. I'm not entirely sure how the fuck Saddler expected to take over the world when literally every one of his """Dominant""" strain Plaga subordinates and also himself dies hilariously in a matter of 10-15 seconds if you have more than like 60 rounds of 5.56mm bullets. And I question the wisdom of Tricell in deciding that this would be the basis of their next generation of bioweapons when I'm pretty sure a single Mr. X would fucking kill everything in Spain by itself quickly enough to count as a world record breaking speedrun.

So anyway, what did you guys do in Resident Evil? Because it sure as hell had to be more competent than these guys.

The default is that you are the von Valancius Heir (the Player Character) at the start of the game just as Abelard finds you at the Warrant Chamber. There is a drawback to be a more minor rogue Trader, a second tier to just be some idiot/pirate who lucked into a ship, and there will be another one to be a retinue member with a new or existing companion as the Rogue Trader.
>>
>>94690636
>and there will be another one to be a retinue member with a new or existing companion as the Rogue Trader.
That seems like something that would work better as an origin choice then as a drawback. Either that or have the drawback cost points if you choose a race other then human.
>>
>>94690592
The high elves would probably try to fuck you over during that process. Sure, you can say that you don't want to do anything to them, but moving a massive population of forest trolls westwards will raise eyebrows. Also the Zandalari won't like you summoning aztec satan

>>94690592
>effectively eliminate the functionality of arcane magic, and severely limit the use of the Light
establish a new Troll Empire.
>who else is going to want to kill me now?

Humans and elves. They don't like trolls and you just cut off their main sources of power
>>
>>94690592
>effectively eliminate the functionality of arcane magic
Dalaran wants you dead, as does all of Quel'Thalas. You turned off the Sunwell. You ALSO turned off the second Well of Eternity under Nordrassil, so Illidan is less than happy about that.
>severely limit the use of the Light, Fel, and Shadow except when bonded to a potent being of that force
Lordaeron wants you dead the moment they find out you're the reason their low-level Priests can't heal anyone anymore and now people are dying of infected wounds they'd get just doing their normal jobs. Additionally, the Naaru will notice an entire planet being cut off from the Light. Meanwhile, Kil'jaeden is VERY angry that you've thwarted his immediate plans and is working on something to deal with that. The Old Gods are minorly upset that what few active servants they have at the moment are being depowered. N'Zoth is slightly more upset than that because between the Arcane cutoff and this, you've wrecked the Naga overall.

>making Goblin, Gnome, and to a lesser extent Dwarven (but not Titan) technology non-functional
Without their machines to extract Kajamite at industrial scale, the Goblins will literally regress to nonsapience. Without technology and Arcane magic, the Gnomes are doomed. In a world full of big things that want to eat them, they needed those things to survive. But worse, you've torn out their very hearts and souls. The foundations of their culture, of the meaning of gnomanity. In terms of Dwarves, the Bronzebeard/Ironforge Dwarves suffer the most of the three, what with losing (some of) their technology and Light access. Losing Arcane means the Dark Irons have to go all in on Elemental magic and serving Ragnaros. The Wildhammers are fine, honestly.

>establish a new Troll Empire
Are you going to let the Zandalari run it, or are you a filthy usurper?

Ultimately, unless you intervene further, Azeroth is now a battleground between Life, Death, and the Elements, with possible Titanic intervention if they ever figure out what's happening. Algalon would be key for that. The Trolls may side with Life, Death, or the Elements depending on which Loa come out on top. Death still has Zovaal the Jailer doing his funky conspiracy board nonsense with the Dreadlords, but it's not clear how many of his plans you've set back and for how long. Life is the interesting one here, as it might just mean the Night Elves and Trolls split the planet between them (or fight to the death over it), or it might mean the World Trees becoming centers of something akin to the Sporemounds of old Draenor. In which case, the Dragonflights might just un-jail the Primal Incarnates themselves, with a "listen, I know we locked you in here, but this is a problem for you, too." Or they might not, Life might subvert Alexstrasza and Ysera for whatever its plans are, leaving Malygos (insane), Neltharion/Deathwing (insane and also imprisoned), and Nozdormu (doomed to eventually go insane but not right now) to handle things on the dragon side.

It's a mess, but it's a DIFFERENT mess from the one in the True Timeline.

Note also that the Amani will not even wait for a signal from you. The moment they realize the Elves have no more magic, Silvermoon is going to get tens of thousands of trolls dancing up and down on its face. Once they're done with that and they see the humans trying to figure out who turned off their magic, they'll invade the northern human kingdoms, too. If Gilneas gets enough buffer time from Lordaeron, Alterac, and Stromgarde, Genn Greymane might just build a wall like he did after the Second War in canon. Note, that is actually what he did before/during WC3. He genuinely built a gigantic wall to keep things out of Gilneas. It would've kept working too if he hadn't had Arugal summon the Worgen (which he can't do in this timeline you've created).

Kul Tiras is also decently well off (Tidesages use Elemental mostly) in the short term, but might have problems the moment Drustvar starts kicking up a fuss again. Also, no Dalaran and no Kirin Tor means Jaina never leaves home means she never meets Arthas and also never loses her accent.

Stromgarde, Dalaran, Lordaeron, and Alterac are going to get danced on by Amani Trolls. Stormwind has nothing to protect it against the Gurubashi, but the Gurubashi don't have a Troll War like the Amani do to be angry about. Stormwind isn't sitting on their ancient holy ground, and the guy responsible for their last major defeat is dead. So unless you sic them on Stormwind, the southernmost human kingdom is probably safe in the short term.

Do we know how big Issei's penis is? I know there is a waifu in the show who can correctly guess how big you are just from looking at you but I can't remember if she said how big his was, though I would assume she did since that seems like an easy way to boost the confidence of the MC.

>How many times can you use it and does the cure include diseases?
The healing touch perk says it restores the target to their prime. So all diseases and illness would be fixed, as well as missing limbs. I just have to touch them and can use whenever.
>If so yeah basically anywhere but especially medieval settings.
Do you know of any particular settings with little to no healers? I know super hero setting always want healers, but I am a bit burned out on those and feel liek places such as D&D/Pathfinder already have enough competition.
>Provided you dont get burned at the stake.

An exact amount wasn't given, but assuming that waifu's ability is equivalent to the one Issei/his squad was using during that bit, then she'd know it. Her reaction suggests unexpectedly large, but if an exact value was given it's in a non-voiced adaptation.
>>
>>94690988
Most superhero settings, healing is often quite unreliable to ensure a sense of stakes so taking the role of a healer all the heroes in DC or Marvel could come to if they or their loved ones are injured would be of immense value.

If you're going around healing people in a medieval setting, wouldn't the default thought be that you're doing miracles? When most people thought of magic in medieval times, they thought of casting curses or killing crops or the like. Laying hands on someone and healing them would be more likely thought of by medieval people as doing miracles, as long as you aren't going around blatantly saying that it's magic and/or blaspheming God.

You know, Kwanzaa must be absolutely ridiculous from the perspective of actual black Africans. Like imagine if my pasty, scrawny ass who can't even speak Swedish or Danish dressed up like a totally inaccurate cosplay Viking and created a holiday some 60 years ago focused around my distant Scandinavian heritage by inaccurately stereotyping the fuck out of everything to do with the culture of people who still exist in Scandinavia. And not only do I do this, I meld together the cultures and festivals of tribes of people who have hated and killed each other for literal millennia and then name it in the wrong language.

That's Kwanzaa. It's fucking wild.

Skyrim got some nice options in game like perks that reduce the cost of illusions and allow you to be good enough with them to affect even undead and mechanical being, while also having options like the Vampire race which boost Illusion spells and enchantments that can reduce the cost of illusions spells fo the point that they're free. Note, the Sunwell and the Well of Eternity technically still exist, the energy's still there. It's just that it can't be harnessed via math and turned into useable magic.

So the elves still have their energetic cocaine, they just can't use it to shoot fireballs out of their hands anymore.
>Additionally, the Naaru will notice an entire planet being cut off from the Light

The basic conceit is that if mortals want to make use of the Light, Shadow, or Fel they need to get a being of power associated with that power (Naaru, Old Gods and their servitors, demons) to either let the human channel their power through them, or convince said being to give them, either temporarily or permanently, a part of their own power.

The goal isn't to completely eliminate their use, but to ensure that there's a real cost to giving mortals inherent power.

>Without their machines to extract Kajamite at industrial scale, the Goblins will literally regress to nonsapience. Without technology and Arcane magic, the Gnomes are doomed.
Acceptable.

>Are you going to let the Zandalari run it, or are you a filthy usurper?
If they acknowledge me as their new God-Empress then they can be the priest-caste, otherwise they can beat it and make their own troll empire.

>>94691038
Not ideal, but not counter-productive to my plans either. I don't have anything inherently against Quel'Thalas, but as long as the Amani leave me with enough High Elves to settle in Duskwood as a subject people, I'm good. Mostly just want a few dozen high elves to serve as my handmaids and priestesses.

>>94691540
I was thinking it transmutes the blood vessels in a way that clumps them together to form living but very tiny goblins. Ones that appear to be full on normal (red colored) goblins.
But blood slime jello mold goblins may be a valuable spell too since you could mush together lots of different blood puddles into one really big blood gobbo.

>600cp - Ancient Authority
>You are the heir to an ancient power, one that ruled over a family of monsters and whose descendants must recognize your kingship. Choose one appropriate class of monster, from dragons to demons to the undead. No matter what they are, you will always be able to communicate with them if only on a basic level. Mindless and low-level varieties of your choice instinctively see you as their superior, while the more intelligent examples will still view you with a measure of respect. If you are extremely powerful, even the strongest of these monsters will be forced to acknowledge your authority over them. In addition to whatever class skills you have you are able to create these monsters. Simpler variants only need mana, but more powerful creations will require special materials. It will be a long time before you can create truly independent creatures with great personal power, but even at the very beginning you will be able to create a squad of minions equal to the lowest rank of dungeon monsters. You may choose for your creations to be temporary or permanent.
>400cp - Advanced class
>A few awakened individuals get classes that are a cut above the basic four archetypes. More than just a variation on the theme, these hybridized classes are more powerful and can easily defeat one of the basic classes unless there’s a huge disparity in ranking. Swordsmen that enchant their weapons with different elements, summoners that can fuse with their creatures, and mages that can manipulate dungeon rules to a degree are all possibilities. Advanced classes need the same amount of xp as basic classes to level up, and give more stat boosts.

(Guy deserved a happy ending and he is a cool guy that goes all out for family so being family sounded good to me)

becoming the meme president who also tore down the shadow government (made Trump my VP to see if I could get the same madness to happen back then with meltdowns to help distract while I begin the process of destroying the syndicate and rolls prevailed on that which was funny along with repealing the whole two terms limit) also left him in charge afterwards he rolled well even as my vp as it were.

Started a clan of superhumans with magic, made better Umbrella for laughs except vastly better products without being evil with fun biotech too along with servitor creatures, and basically conquered the world/took it with me. (thanks Bronze Age collapse jump doc)As for what helped pulling all this off the four jumps (Bronze Age Collapse, Geneforge, Gears Of War, and Jorge Jostar Ultimate Lifeform Edition) I had really made this jump a fun time.

I'm starting to come around to technology over magic (with all things being equal thanks to super-science). Freeform magic is an I Win button but structured magic is often far too restricted. With tech, you're largely only limited by what you can build and can meet any situation with the right resources, but actually having to make it means you can't just function as a reality warper. Having to obtain and harness the materials is a better resource management mechanism than spell slots for hard predetermined effects, and you can still do virtually anything you can imagine instead of being stuck with those preset outcomes.

That's an example of limited magic but I was also comparing it to magic where the system isn't fleshed out enough to give it any sort of limitations or guidelines. I've never seen a magic system properly balance freedom with structure, they're always either too minimal and imagination-based, or too rigid and restricted, that's my whole point. A better balanced all-purpose "do whatever you want but there are certain limits" kit is found in super-science, for whatever reason.

In one of the very earliest episodes (Season 1 or Season 2 IIRC), it's outright mentioned that the pylon-angels of the Saint Electric can and do just wander off and smash people's houses. WOG on the matter is that they even crafted the background of the Saint Electric with the idea that it was a human girl who ascended into godhood which...did nothing to keep the Saint Electric from murdering and feeding on humans as any other god. And it's established that all of the commercial gods are like this.

There are no good gods in the setting. It's even said as much, with the only gods that could be termed as decent by human standards being those like the Cairn Maiden - gods who are taking what is "already being offered".

>hypocritical oath
You are thinking of the Hippocratic Oath, named for Hippocrates of Kos. It is also attributed to him, but we do not know for sure that it was he who invented it. The earliest surviving (fragmentary) copy of the oath is from about six centuries after Hippocrates' actual life, so it might just be attributed to him in a very "Confucius say" sense. "Primum non nocere" (or "First, do no harm") is not actually said in the original oath, and was coined in the 19th century.

>the Lost
You are the Labyrinth. You are the Cave. You are the Woods. You are the dark, moonless Night. You are the places and times where mankind cannot find its way. The shadows dance and the eyes witness what Is Not There, for in the terror of his aimless wandering, Man Deceives himself without meaning to. He imagines predators he can fight or flee, shadows of creatures with teeth and claws, because there is nothing he can do about being Lost. Without the use of his eyes, he cannot find the path again. He does not even know when he is, never mind where. He invents a Beast that will grind his bones and strip his flesh, because that is less frightening to him than Not Knowing what might be lurking in your domain. If it is Nothing At All, that is even worse. He needs Something, as all creatures do. They can't work with Nothing. What are they supposed to do with Nothing?

Depends what you mean by lost. Lost souls (which can be used to mean people lost in despair or other bad emotions, sinners lost to heaven or the unquiet dead), lost things, or just travellers who got lost? Do you make people and beings become lost, do you help the lost be found, do you protect the lost without making the become lost or helping them find themselves?
In order:
>a domain of mercy or healing, combining with trickery you send people in spirit quest to help them find themselves
>alternatively a domain of despair or rage, to make people become lost
>A domain of redemption to help sinner find salvation, or corruption to make people be lost
>A psychopomp domain to help lost souls get to the afterlife, or a undead/necromancy domain to keep the lost souls bound to the physical plane
>money domain or contracts to help people lose money in bad transactions. if you find somewhere to get cheap small domains, domains of socks and keys and other objects that keep getting lost. Nobilis is known for allowing a socks domain to be as powerful as more broad or conceptual domains.
>Travel domain is usually considered closely related to trickery, and can both make peole lost and help them get found.
>A wilderness domain or nature domain can also sub for travelling domain in helping making civilized people get lost, it can also mix with trickery if you assume an animal aspect related to trickery like crow, monkey, or fox.
>Ocean is another good domain for making things lost, a little less related to trickery tho.

Bows are also better for a Jumper with super-strength, to an extent. Bows scale with their user's ability to draw them in a way that firearms and crossbows simply don't. Now, if you're so STRONG your draw causes the bow to snap in half, that's a problem, but the simple fact is that guns don't scale. A mundane toddler firing the same rifle you have, if they hit the target, will do the same amount of damage you do.
>>
>>94692187
If you want my honest attempt at dictating how it works, I think you'd still to drink water, but if you're dictating piss under that option then your returns would be far greater than you put in. I really don't think it's a subject that requires a hard ruling though.

guns scale in the sense that a stronger character can wield much more powerful guns than a weaker person could practicely ield without having to worry about the recoil.

Rin and Sakura from Fate Stay Night maybe?

They both have immense magical talent, and they probably inherited the trat of their mother that ensured that any child she gives birth to has immense potential.
Both also have elemental traits that probably do really well in Xianxia(Rin having an affinity for all fiv elements while Sakura has a special element that is especially effective against spirits).

Rin is also a great Martial artist and Sakura is a talented Archer.

>>94692201
Bows scale a little according to how far back you can pull the bowstring, but it's not really enough to scale with super-strength. There's only so far you can physically pull back the bowstring for extra effect, and there's only so much tension that the limbs can exert. And then of course it can break. You start running into material constraints with bows just as much as you do chemical with guns. Arguably, this is even worse with bows, because you have to usually either really on natural materials like wood or horn because only a few have the requisite strength and flexibility, or else get into advanced material engineering with like carbon fiber and such. Arrows also have to be a certain strength and stiffness to work properly, and if you're dealing with super strength, you need to start worrying about super-durable fletching as well. Depending on the gun you have, it might actually be easier to scale, since you might be able to just increase the charge. This is how they used to aim black powder mortars and cannons back in the day, by varying the charges rather than manipulating the angle of the bore. And you can usually deal with the material constraints by just making the barrel thicker.
>>
>>94692395
The ultimate form of a bow is the catapult, which doesn't scale at all with the user's strength.
The ultimate form of a gun is a particle accelerator, which also doesn't scale at all with the user's strength, except it does scale up depending on the amount of resources spent, which means a jumper can effectively improve on it infinitely
>>
>>94692395
This is an interesting note, actually. Granted, with all the fantasy settings that have things like adamantine arrows and bows made for giants, the Chain mitigates these problems, but those same materials can also be used to make sturdier cannons.
>>
>>94692417
There is an absolute limit to the strength of a particle accelerator; a point where the very fabric of spacetime becomes opaque.
>>
>>94692431
Your bow will never break reality no matter how far you pull it back unless you're using magic bullshit, at which point it's the magic bullshit(which is conceptually a gun) doing all the work and the bow is just aesthetic.
>>
>>94692417
>a jumper can effectively improve on it infinitely
nta, but I like how this whole debate is dead in the water as far as jumpchain matters because there's scaling weapons of every type, especially man-portable ones.

A bow is, at its most fundamental, just a very primitive particle accelerator (the arrows are the particle). If you accelerate your particle (shoot the arrow) hard enough, reality breaks.
>>
>>94692465
It is literally not possible for the principles of a bows function to accelerate an arrow to relativistic speeds.

The less complex it is, the better for jumpers. This is because metanarratively, a character's body is more likely to be able to break the laws of physics and biology than an object. So as the number of parts in an object increases, the more dilute the metanarrative enhancement becomes, as it has to apply to all of them.

There's a reason that no one that actually researches Kwanzaa gives a shit about Kwanzaa. It's similar to the recent BLM "movement" which was literally just run by a bunch of self admitted "trained marxists" (their words, not mine) who on their official website straight up said they wanted to abolish the family unit and whose donation page literally led to Act Blue, the biggest democrat Super PAC in the US which primarily funds democrat
political campaigns across the nation. Kwanzaa, like BLM, is something that sounds good so long as you do effectively zero research and never actually look into its history or what its actual purpose is.

>A Bloody Champion 300CP
>Cain’s students are peppered throughout history, often as warriors of great power. Not all of them die by their recorded date. Any historical hero, warrior or killer is yours to Companion, so long as their legend is a bloody and violent one. They are a peak version of themselves, they get up to Competent level in the Herculean method and 600CP to spend on perks. Historical acolytes include Musashi Miyamoto, Jack the Ripper, Samson the Nazarite and Joan of Arc
for an Archer the obvious one to go with would be someone like Robin Hood, Arash and Heracles. And they could likely manage archery feats as silly as the ones of that Method User Gunman..

and a Cultivator family based on a xianxia adaption of the Method does seem viable.

"Sir. Sir, do you have a moment? We need to know if you have a license for those magical girls you have"

Count Dior looked up in confusion as my crack team of magical girls entered his house, diligently scanning for traces of unlawful meguca usage. I patiently explained to the man that magical girls were classified as strategic weapons of mass destruction that in the wrong hands could be used to threaten the very fabric of reality itself. After some confusion over the existence of a magical girl (boy) and questions about why some of the children appeared to be getting into bondage, I abruptly declared everything was in order, drafted a Magical Girl Handler license for him to avoid further confusion and left. Everyone in the house continued staring at the license in confusion. Later, they found out the incantation written on it's back could be used to generate a portal back to the mortal world.

"Well, you've managed to spread the dread shackles of bureaucracy and customs regulation to yet another world" said Elodie. "What do you want to do next?"

I donned my Horseman of Taxation avatar. "I want to see a man about fraud"

"STOP! YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE LAW, YOU ARE WANTED FOR TAX EVASION" I shouted, kicking down Jitterbug's door. Screams, protests and shrieks of disbelief echoed from him as I cut a portal back to the mortal world and hauled him through.

I then immediately got him hit with a life sentence for shady business dealings. And anti-magic shackles.

You'd need something custom. There are certain things like Campfire Cooking in Another World's buffs that work on mundane food but are temporary; or the food-based cultivation in A Will Eternal, but that uses specially prepared food that's further processed with cultivation and can be further processed still with special equipment.
Maybe an esoteric application of something like Conceptual Fertilization from Garden of Avalon so you can imbue the stat into that idiom of you are what you eat and infuse it instead of the more literal biomelding.

Which flying cities? There's the death star knockoffs that are powered by ambient power, the one that is basically a super hot air balloon, and the ones closer to the Wyld that float because of wyld bullshit.
>>
>>94693174
Strictly speaking there are multiple potential mechanisms that could be used to keep a flying city propelled. The most basic one is simply for flight to be an inherent property constructed into the manses built into the city; it's basically functional feng shui where the leylines (well, Dragon Lines) have been manipulated in such a way to generate "flight" as a phenomena. Other potential methods of flight include attaching a protoshinmaic vortex to some kind of powerbank, binding a flight-capable higher order spirit into it somewhere, sorcerously lifting a city into the sky or creating artifacts that like you suggested absorb ambient elemental energy to stay aloft.

>Did they already forget who the Hokage is?
No, they're probably just trying to forget about what a disappointment Naruto is.
>How many Uchihas did your Jumper kill in Naruto?
The answer to this question was greatly influenced by thread. When the Naruto jump first came out I opted to turn my back on the main conflict and be content with life as a chakra guinea pig. Then anons talking about Naruto increasingly made me aware of how much terrible, terrible shit in the setting is laid solely at the feet of Uch*has. And then, Boruto confirmed once and for all that the key for Sasuke to find peace isn't NAKAMA or god forbid Sakura, but dinosaurs.

So, the current answer is "literally all of them except the box loli, who is redeemed by her own hatred of Uch*has, and Sasuke, who has been shipped off to the Ninja Jurassic Park that I created with my Otsutsuki powers as it's head dinosaur ranger"

>>94691491
Discworld. Not because I can recall a specific tiny goblin spell from it off the top of my head, but because narrativium causes the place to function off puns in (mostly) subtle but profound ways and because magic there works like nuclear energy. As in, if you split the thaum (the smallest divisible unit of magic) you can generate enough energy to create an entire no-bullshit universe with no magic within whatsoever (although possibly it's own world turtle, somehow) AND confine it to a physical exterior the size of a small globe. As long as you have what amounts to an AI-shaped magical golem construct thing precisely manipulating the energy, anyway.

>>94693371
Yet another reason why becoming an Infernal is great, because once you obtain enough Yozi Charms logically you'll be able to use the same principles the Primordials built Creation with to just slap down some dragon lines elsewhere. Hell, there is already a published Cecelyne Charm which lets her raise demesnes (very slowly) through worship in places of desolation.

Nope. Of the known instances where Guts or someone like Skull Knight/Gaiseric have directly confronted them, we have;

>Guts vs Slan (Troll Guts avatar)
Guts impaled her right through the abdomen. Slan proceeded to have an orgasm then hug him. Said hug nearly destroyed his soul and required the Berserker Armor just to keep him alive.

>Skull Knight w/ Sword of Actuation vs Slan (Troll Guts avatar)
Tore apart the Qliphoth and freed Guts, but Slan was not at all harmed.

>Skull Knight w/ Sword of Actuation vs Femto
Femto casually manipulated and redirected the slice of the blade, using Shiva Ganishka as a focus to cause the Great Roar of the Astral World. Was never harmed.

>Guts vs Femto (Griffith form) on Elfheim
Barely cut off a single strand after hundreds of swings. Griffith neither noticed nor reacted and his hair eventually stopped the Dragonslayer dead in its tracks, implying Guts only cut off that single strand because Griffith was putting even less effort in paying attention to him. We are also told in the same sequence of events that getting near Griffith (or presumably any Godhand member) with your astral form would be akin to getting sucked into a vortex due to their sheer spiritual pressure and we see that Girffith merely appearing on Elfheim started to cause it to collapse.

A negative number because restorative necromancy reaps some crazy mad payoff in that world. Though given how soul fuckery does or doesn't work there it might not be that useful outside of generating optimized biomass for possession/chakra fruit conversion.

>>94693474
In a way, sort of. Though they're technically a flat upgrade in a few cases since they have a racial passive before they get to the local magic fuckery and a better stat line for physicals compared to crimson demons. At least in terms of averages. But even then their most well known monsters still put the Uchiha ahead since the biggest spell they've ever used is double-cast as a part of its basic function and the caster presumably had enough MP left to do literally anything else at some point before/after it.
But the tradeoff would still boil down to crimson demons being less high-maintenance even if they're more of a yappy outside dog compared to the Uchiha's bitey guard dog.

And even then she has no trouble working against him in the end helping Kazuma defeat him.

Sasuke was indeed like that and very dodgy about Boruto's overblown, rebellious, teenager hate for his dad at first. I don't think anybody ever bothered to tell Boruto anything about Sasuke, but Sasuke is a cool secret agent man with a sword who wears all black and that's like crack for a rebellious kid. Also he's Sarada's dad so he can't be a bad dude, right? How did literally nobody tell him about half the shit Sasuke did?

>>94693727
Presumably normal progression of international diplomacy. Naruto brought the world together and is holding it together, but also just put the world in a way better place by ending world wars, settling old disputed, and fucking up Zetsu with the squad. Now, I know what you may be thinking and I agree - by any reasonable metric, doing something like fighting Deidara with the intent to kill him, fighting Itachi with the intent to kill him and fighting Danzo with the intent to kill him, all of which ended in the deaths of the targets, would count as "killing" someone. However, every opponent he's had that he beat while trying to kill them instead killed themselves.

It makes sense, but it's more than I expected.

I usually grab it if it is available in an early jump just for the nice benefits that being in your prime forever grants.
Look at how fast star athletes destroy their bodies. Yeah it was something I realized about adventuring because even if you get a new body every ten years that damage will stack up over that ten years.
Even with magic healing most dnd/adventure worlds still have people running around with knarly scarring. And sufficient scarring can start to cause fitness issues even if you survive and heal up.
So some form of perfect healing is really useful even if it takes some time for the damage to fully recover. You can just take a winter off in some city and get rid of the lingering damage.

DCAu is several old cartoons in a shared timeline. You start in Batman TAS in 1986. Joker comes around in 1993 according to one episode). Then Superman TAS starts about 1996. JLU starts in 2000 with JLU being 2001-2005. Then in the future to Batman Beyond, If you chain them together you are in the setting for 77 years. This is considered by many to have the best versions of most of the characters. And the time Flash cucked Lex
As for the immortality, you would be waiting 14 years to unlock it when you got to JLU.

PsychoAnon, if you're on, got a question for you about the Undertale jump. If we had some OoC perk or item that could potentially restore Asriel, could we use that with the Fallen Down scenario, or is sacrificing the reward the only way to restore him if we take that scenario? Because it sounds useful, but it'd be a dick move to let Asriel be stuck as Flowey forever.

Ryuzetsu.
The headaches come from the author attempting to justify the Blood Prison's existence. Everything from its location (the prison is on an ocean cliffside, but the country that the prison is located in is landlocked) to its security (strip and cavity searches happen, but a girl could disguise herself as a guy), to why any other village would send their prisoners there, makes no fucking sense.

Question for you, /jc/. If you get perks tied to a certain race/form, do you rule it that you can only use those perks in that form, or that you can use it no matter what form you're in? Like using perks you got for an alien origin you took in your human form, for example.

I still think it's fukken' wild that when Naruto popped Himawari into Hinata, Kurama blew a load of his chakra into her at the same time, to the point he was able to pull an Orochimaru-Cursed-Seal style self-resurrection inside her after his heroic sacrifice or whatever.

Do we have any perks that can boost the effects from any material you use for magic? Looking at the Wild Cardz jump right now, and one of the perks lets you create cloth out of cards that give certain boosts, though you'd need to focus on one suit to really get their bonus. So I'm wondering if there are any perks that'd let me boost the effect of each suit so I'd get the full benefit from all of them. Seems really useful for Gambler Jumper.

Hey NuBee, is there any chance of dropping the rule against using companion housing as personal storage in your new warehouse supplement? It's the kind of wonky fiat weirdness that starts to have issues when you think about it too much in what is essentially an imagination game all about thinking about things too much.

>>
>>94694015
I go for it as soon as I possibly can, base human bodies are too unreliable to stick to for the long-term adventurous nature of jumpchain.
>>
>>94694450
Mostly because it seems like an unnecessary bit of fiat weirdness, which is generally a negative unless there is a really good reason for it. Which doesn't seem to exist here.

The rule is there to prevent you from getting a small amount of additional storage space over time by buying one of the more expensive options in the supplement with the requirement of needing to gather a large number of companions to see meaningful growth in space which will also require you to sacrifice the main purpose of the option to get even after those hoops are successfully jumped.

That seems like a rather poor reason to introduce explicit hard fiat restrictions, the problems it can cause are minor but they definitely outweigh the silliness of the reason for the rule to exist in the first place.
>>
>>94694446
Working on making it in time, but an unexpected cross-country trip arising from family issues kinda made that complicated. Still should be able to get it done, just closer than I'd like and liable to have a v.2 come out sooner to fix things up or add stuff in.

>>
>>94694495
If you buy an army to make use of their rooms as storage space you then need to house the army in other ways, which will take up just as much space while also eating up additional resources in replacing the vital amenities of life which are not a problem when using the Complex housing for their intended purpose.

>This version comes with disease and poison immunity. As well as perfect memory.
Immortality and perfect memory are not a good combination. Trust me.
>>
>>94694545
Having perfect memory is directly integral to maintaining your sense of self during a chain.
>>
Mindflayers don't make any sense, do they? A decent sized colony would have to consume an entire city's worth of brains in a year. You'd think creating more mindflayers would be the absolute last thing they'd ever want to do, what with such a precious and specific diet they have.
>>
>>94694556
If your sense of self is so fragile that you need a perfect memory perk to sustain it, then that's a you problem
>>
>>94694558

>>
>>94694558
The books go back and for on how big mindflayer colonies are. I forgot the exact title but at least one book about the underdark acknowledged that there's a very delicate balance for brain logistics.
>>
>>94694558
Oh, that's easy. Mindflayers don't subsist entirely on brains. They need specific enzymes, hormones, and psychic energy to sustain themselves, and brains happen to have all three of those

They can, and do, subsist mostly off of various kinds of internal organs and psychic energy collected from stables of slaves

The primary difference between Complex rooms and living space you acquire through other means being that you're acquiring space within the Base, which at minimum can be accessed in any location with a door, or with minimal investment just anywhere period, and can't be accessed through external means or intrusion. Armies can also be granted communal housing or barracks which require significantly less space, than what is obtained through the complex which would provide each individual with spacious living quarters. To me it just seemed easy to break, and I'm not really sure what the reason for dropping it actually is.

Then again, I brought it up with a friend and they also provided arguments for why it's not really an issue and that some of my worries were probably unfounded, so I guess I could drop it.

Earlier someone asked if it'd be fine to just make one purchase of Aesthetics free. I think since I can drop the rule and add that. Does anyone else remember things that could be used for a small update? Just posting with a pic for visibility before I go do it.
>>
>>94694578
Lords of Madness seemed to acknowledge a practical upper limit on colony size, but it was about Aberrations in general, not the Underdark. If there's at least one more book that tries to make it work, all the better. The Illithiad is the premiere source of mindflayer lore and it has some of the most ridiculous numbers I've seen in ttrpg fluff, which is saying something.
>>94694583
I recall them being able to get nutrients from other sources of meat, but that the psychic energy they need can only come from brains.

I'm considering doing an illithid chain but I kind of hate D&D bullshit and that's the original, most fleshed out version of the race (Final Fantasy got away with lifting them somehow). Might just go to Invader Zim or something instead to be an alien that runs entirely on stupid bullshit as a matter of course.

If you're talking about overlord anime there's Solution, pic related, who is both a slime and a shoggoth (like from lovecraft). There's also HeroHero who is an elder black ooze and if he had a human form we never saw it. There's also Bukachamigama (spell check) who was a pink slime and a tank and she didn't have a human form either iirc.

>Does anyone else remember things that could be used for a small update?
I'd like to put forth that it would be a good idea to take a second look at any hard fiat limitation and consider if they are truly a positive inclusion.

The district having the same limitation without the second tier, the warehouse (and base in general) being impossible to renovate, and other such things seem like badwrongfun limitations that do not actually correct any major problems but do create fiat barriers that might get in the way of some fun idea a jumper might come up with.
>>
>>94694605
You could be a mind flayer in Overlord anime. Iirc they're called brain eaters there but they exist and presumably they don't need to subsist solely on brains since Nureonist Painkill is one of them and we never hear about her needing a steady supply of victims to eat. Worst comes to worst you could just wear a ring of sustenance since that seems to take care of all needs when it comes to eating / drinking.
>>
>>94694605
>I recall them being able to get nutrients from other sources of meat, but that the psychic energy they need can only come from brains.
Alright, so I dug up the Illithiad to check, and yeah Adult Illithids DO need to eat the brain of something with Int 3 at least once a month.

They apparently lose a quarter of their HP and PP for every month they don't eat a brain, and die of starvation after four months without eating.

Yeah, and once a month is the bare minimum for surviving. They ideally prefer to have a brain a week. It's just silly.
>>
>>94694643
>>94694605
Also, fucking hell Illithid breeding sucks. Fuckers lay eggs twice in their lifetime, both of which are batches of a thousand eggs. It takes a full decade for a tadpole to mature though, and the Elder Brain at the bottom of the spawning pool is going to be snacking on them the entire time, so only a single tadpole actually survives out of every clutch.
>>
>>94694656
It's no small wonder their empire fell. Fantasy writers really don't understand the most basic logistics, do they?

I can maybe do the District one, but the base is impossible to renovate as a feature. It's indestructible. If something gets in it can't fuck it up. It can fuck up the things in the base, but the base itself cannot be fucked. I don't really understand taking that one away.
>>
>>94694665
I'm honestly guessing they get a population boom every time an Elder Brain dies, since Illithids tend to fuck off without taking the Tadpoles with them, and the Tadpoles are actually fully capable of hunting and surviving off of animal brains.

The base as a core structure being indestructible is a good thing but that doesn't need to hold true on the surface, allowing surface level 'damage' which would in turn allow for renovation doesn't mean allowing the dimension's structure itself can't be immutable.

Like is the dirt/concrete of the roads included in the district option meant to be immutable? If the auto repair function isn't for jumper and companions to get into big battles knowing the mess will be fixed later what is it for? Something practical?

So logically since the Uchiha think Uchiha are people she can't be an Uchiha by Uchiha standards. The second is that box loli ends up being the wisest character in this series. My evidence? Could we let people stay in the base with it shut, just having them ejected at the end of the jump rather than every time we shut the door/insert entry option here.

I was actually thinking of them being like a Utility, or an optional thing if you take District 2 and Complex. Just a bunch of people that won't want to leave the Warehouse, there so you won't be lonely, with no use beyond hanging out with them and occasionally getting treats from them

While true, the consequence is that a companion goes into their room, takes off an article of clothing to get comfortable, and suddenly it is yeeted out to the main base because that is stroage. It goes against how people use even hotel rooms, desu.

>Not sure what he was cooking but I didn't see any reason to say no.
My concern was that there is a high likelihood that mutliple items will break down even in a ten year period. Brining in a repairman, plumber, electrician, to fix it is a massive security risk and probably requires you to out your Jumper nature Jump 1 to a random stranger. And that is assuming that you are in a setting with such people, and don't have your toilet flooding in a fantasy setting without the knowledge to fix it.

Leaning towards no right now. I allowed it with companions and stuff, but being able to freeze unassociated people in your base is providing utility beyond what's really intended right now.

Gimme a second and lemme see if I can work with that.

>>94694945
No, you can actually see that with an environmental/outdoors Base Aesthetic that the day night cycle and a control panel for it comes bundled. Lighting just allows you to mess with the artificial sun and do other stuff with it. If you don't have that type of Aesthetic, don't purchase Lighting, but do purchase District, then you might still have a day/night cycle over the District, but might not have a specific option in the control panel to manually manipulate it.
>>
>>94694983
>Gimme a second and lemme see if I can work with that.
It could also work as an option for the Aesthetics. Some themes just don't work without people there, you know?

A bar/rave themed base needs visitors, and a Halloween themed base feels empty as heck without people in costumes

>No, you can actually see that with an environmental/outdoors Base Aesthetic that the day night cycle and a control panel for it comes bundled. Lighting just allows you to mess with the artificial sun and do other stuff with it.

Dumb idea but with the second tier of the District combined with Complex could we get some building space, to potentially turn the area into a true town rather than just an endless plane of suburban homes/apartment blocks broken up only by random properties not deployed for the current jump?

So my Jumper is doing Overlord right now, it's the highest power jump my Jumper has done. I'm thinking of a small update to my Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World of Light jump. The main thing would be adding this perk, which is a bit too long to fit in a post so I attached it as a PDF. It is supposed to represent Figure Players using Spirits to level.

In addition to this, I have been mulling around a small item stipend. If you have any thoughts on these, or other suggestions for the jump, please let me know.
>>
>>94695085
Base of Operations: Stipend +1500, Base Aesthetics (Halloween), Layers x2 -200, Windows, District x2 -200, Complex -200, Medbay -100, Kitchen -50, Garden -50, Clothing Outlet -100, Plumbing -100, Power -100, Communication -100, Automatons -100, Elves -50, NPCs, Ghosts +100, Artificial Intelligence -150, Corner Entry -100.

I randomly remembered the DS game A Witch's Tale and decided that I really wanted a fun Halloween themed warehouse to live in, so it was really convenient when the thread started talking about this supplement.

My base has lots of purples and oranges, lots of jack-o-lanterns and gothic gas lamps, and is eternally dusk with visible stars and a beautiful purple sky. The NPCs are all people of various ages in costumes, the Elves are various kinds of imps and bats, and the Automatons are Scarecrows

>>94695090
No. Good little cucks just shut up and take what they're given while everyone else gets whatever they want in the document.
>>
Here is the Smash jump if you need it.
>>
>>94695085
For Tomorrow then.

I don't think that the Janitor's Closet's upgrade is enough to make it worth 100, perhaps make the current one sans the decontamination chamber the 50 and have the upgrade be able to decontaminate the entire base? Such as to cleanse it of any weird infestations/corruptions that could potentially infest it after you let it in?
>>
>>94695096
Looks good to me. Was a bit confused on that bit about preventing additional spirits you consume from affected the second or third boosts, but reading them again I realized the issue. I do want to ask, is there any way for a spirit to resist this form of consumption? If so, you may want to mention this.

As for an item stipend, I've only done that once, so I can't say much about it, but from what I've seen the standard item stipend is 300cp, which is what I ended up going with. So that may be a good model to go with if you're thinking about adding a stipend.
>>
>>94695109
Anything changed?
>>
>>94695096
the only real rule I can recall seeing for a stipend was that it depended on how much stuff jumper was actually expected to buy. There's a lot of stuff on offer, but in total you only have three sets of discounts. I'm going to assume that's enough to recreate any playable character, in which case you don't really need a stipend. Maybe consider a second set of item discounts or three perk discounts instead?
>>
>>94695116
>resisting
It's not really something explored in the game. You already have to own the Spirit in-game, which implies a level of cooperation. I think I can note it might be resisted, just because eating up enemies right off the bat isn't how the game mechanic works.

I was thinking 200 or 300 points. I don't just want to push it in if people think it is offering too much, so I'll see what people have to say.

>>94695119
This is the current version, without any changes yet.
>>
>>94695057
It's a possibility. I would have to look over the jump to see what can be done with the companion budget of CP. Don't get me wrong Naruto is even more broken than overlord in raw power but I am guessing you are expected to pay a lot for that level of power.

>>94695067
Well that is an option too. Where can I find some?
>>
>>94695122
I'll think about it a bit. Taking a stipend out is a lot harder than adding it in, so I won't rush to it.

Yugioh has a number of Goop monsters which you could get in Duel Monsters Shadow Realm through th ecompanion option.
Most notably it also has an item that creates a minor slime every minute.
>Jam Breeding Device(200): This curious device was found at the bottom of a Labyrinth, and created numerous issues for the surrounding farm folk. Simply put, it produces mindless but loyal(to the one owning the device) slimes that can float through the air.
>They’re acidic to the touch, but insubstantial. However, the Breeding Device can produce them constantly at a rate of about 1 a minute. This can build up, and even the insubstantial Jams can cause heroes a problem in such a vast number. Be very wary of how long you leave this unattended...

Personally I like the idea of taking this as someone with the Familiar Charmer background focusede on water monstersl, specifically slimes, with a small slime as familiar. You could even work out how to combine all the minor slimes to create big ones like the egyptian god slime, slimes that constantly defends you and revives like revival jam or even ones that can disguise themselves as people.

In a highly technical and autistically nitpicky sense, the stronger end of the max purchase is even stronger than previously expected but the weaker ends in NO way fall short because one can straight up be used to transfer equivalents into other people, and the other has the benefit of magicmaxing which two episodes this season can drastically turn the tables in a clash with cosmic beings who did NOT practice magic.

Honestly at this point becoming an Alioth or Dormammu is probably the weakest option offensively, but even that is counterbalanced by the season finale showing that being a living universe actually matters even in clashes between beings with infinite power.

>>94695505
You would think so, but the Masters of the Mystic Arts have consistently been able to prevent him from being a problem without his cultists actively sabotaging their HQ. I think Dormammu is a case of overspecialisation where he IS the final conclusion of magicmaxing...at the cost of having either never dealt with or completely forgotten about basic concepts like time or space, resulting in him being blindsided by non-infinite forces that are simply beyond his comprehension.

(Which you aren't necessarily lobotomised out of by taking the option but you know what I mean, I'm saying in the context of the MCU for whatever reason they treat the potential of Dormammu invading as a much lower priority than other shit)

>>
>>94695499
Sort of. Basically he discovered the same trick to changing time that Morgan did. A.k.a. it works as long as it's your own past. So he set up a bunch of secret Singularities that are meant to activate if Chalda or those like them fail. At which point all of history after his era would be erased and replaced with Lostbelt 3 2.0. Sure he does say he would dismantle this if Chaldea succeeds, but well I'm not sure how he would do so, and considering the details I'm not sure if I'd trust that.

>900 CP: A Celestial, either a regular one or Ego with all his weirdness
>1200 CP: Watcher (weakest in raw power, also you can just give someone 1:1 Watcher powers by having them swear an oath. Don't even have to say the whole thing, can just rush it once they say "I do!". This is kind of a big deal because S3 revealed Watchers live in the 5th Dimension and it takes infinite energy from the MCU multiverse to break into it. The most senior Watchers also have a fusion-ha technique that kind of looks like they're LARPing as the Living Tribunal in which they can erase all variants of a person from all possible universes retroactively-but even this state can be disrupted by a sufficiently determined Watcher who has only just gotten their powers for like 15 minutes), Strange Supreme (mid but most versatile), or Infinity Ultron. (strongest). Alternatively, Alioth or Dormammu (the living universe/timeline-eater options).

>>94695534
It's debatable if individual stones have infinite power. It's only confirmed in the last episode of S3 that the stones together definitely have infinite power, but the stones CAN be destroyed by less than infinite power as Wanda (before awakening her Scarlet Witch powers) showed.

The fact that the guy is consistent with his principles and underlying logic is a major contributor; my Jumper REALLY hates the Human Order and since his plans take place outside space and time he doesn't really have a problem with a single swathe of history where all resistance has been pacified.

More importantly, the guy is amazing at taking criticism by ancient chinese emperor standards to the extent the reason he allied with Chaldea in the first place is that he is willing to entertain a total rethink of his value system once shown a mobile phone. So y'know. He's pretty confident he can win him over with an efficiency argument.

(I am assuming there is actual diplomacy going on and not just immediate submission because Qin is an immortal supercomputer with strong convictions, and more importantly instead of being female but NOT named Suzuka Gozen or Tomoe Gozen and thus instantly losing to Fuji Fire, his gender is simply "Qin")

The problem with that logic is that Qin doesn't actually totally rethink his value system. He just decided to give Chalda a chance to save the Human Order. While deciding that if they fail it is proof that he was right. While also hiding his plans from Chaldea. Well or at least trying to do so until it got noticed by Da Vinci and I think Holmes. Also I kind of figured that Qin would have planned to extend his Qin is the Only Human Order to the entire Tree of Time.

The Eminence and his two buddies actually pinned down the Watcher and his crack team of strong diverse women, unironically the most powerful feat by an antagonist in the MCU to date, and even though Captain Carter managed one burst of defiance all she did was push them all into Strange Supreme’s universe where he was able to depower them-letting a white man do the real work of defeating them. By contrast, Infinity Ultron BY HIMSELF was able to stalemate the Eminence and his two Watchers long enough for everyone to get away. It ended with him dead, but it cannot be stressed enough that he was doing better than any individual member of the strong woman team even after they obtained Watcher powers

>a chance
Give my Jumper a chance and he’ll take lightyears. He gave Chaldea a chance alright and even after Ordeal Call he’s not making his own appeal now the Human Order itself is no longer in full alignment with Novum Chaldea. In the meantime, he’s summonable. My Jumper is tolerant of Qin because he understands the Chinese emperor grindset-that the best way to win him over eventually, is to keep outperforming the Human Order itself at every turn.
>>
>>94695644
I think the Manhawa got cancelled after just 100 chapters, so there is that.
>>
>>94695668
>Give my Jumper a chance and he’ll take lightyears
Why would he give your jumper that chance? Sure both of them are tyrants, but their goals are kind of incompatible.

>he’s summonable
Actually he's pretending to be summoned like Merlin is. He just kind of used the body he created from studying Akuta to run out of the Lostbelt to Chaldea.
>>
>>94695695
>Actually he's pretending
Basically every Lostbelt Servant that it's not explicitly PHH is running on something like that.
>>
>>94695698
Sure, but most of them were actually summoned properly. Qin however survived the destruction of his Lostbelt by just walking out of it. Well at least the human sized Qin did. The giant robot Qin who was apparently also still active as a separate person didn't. Well unless Qin was just pretending to be two people while nobody was watching.
>>
>>94691491
That's an actual Blood Sphere talent in the Spheres of Power magic system.
Well technically it's two talents, Hemo Goblin and Extract Blood Construct.
The latter has much more mechanical support, as the former was just a joke talent made for the April Fool's splatbook The Jester's Handbook
>>
>>94695695
>Why
…anon, if we’re to humour the idea that interludes matter and happen in parallel to the narrative, he is continuing to give Chaldea a chance long after Chaldea has begun regularly recruiting BEASTS and is fighting Neco-Arc (forma de Bell).

It’s been years. YEARS since LB3. Call it what you will but Qin is taking his sweet fucking time to actually oppose Chaldea, let alone a more proactive organisation. If Qin wanted to pull a coup, I’m positive my Jumper’s timeframe for getting total control to the point rebellion is pointless is a lot faster than his.

>>
>>94695512

>>
>>94695734
Okay yeah the interludes actually mattering are kind of iffy. Although in this case if it does his plan is literally to wait for Chaldea to fail to save humanity. Which well they technically haven't done that yet.

I'm also not sure if he even has any control of his back up plan. Since well if Chaldea loses that badly he's probably going to be too dead to activate those singularities.

Also sorry if this was annoying. It just seemed like it would be an easy way for you to so salvage things by providing an excuse that could be used to ignore the silly nonsense.

Eh, they're all around the same level. Kozilek shows that it can make a battle strategy and Emrakul's biggest show was it recognizing shit was fucked and going to sleep. The section where Emrakul talks was literally just Jace hallucinating and projecting thought on her. Always glad to have more jumps, and it's neat to see one based on a classic novel! For a drawback, maybe one based on how Montag remembered too late how he first met Mildred and fell in love with her? You have trouble in a specific relationship, maybe a friend or a lover or a family member, and you remember what you need to begin restoring your relationship too late, with the potential added grief of it coming with the loved one in question suffering a brutal death you couldn't prevent, like Mildred did. Also, maybe a continuity drawback to pick between the various versions?

Trying to decide on the Aspects of my Name in A Practical Guide To Evil. Said Name is going to be "Void Queen", as I've got a sort of theme going on there. Corrupt and Void are locked in-those are basically just natural for Void-based Name, I think. But I'm having a whole lot of trouble with what should be the last Aspect. Slay is really nice, but I've already got methods to kill the unkillable. Take seems like it'd make sense, but it's explicitly temporary and I don't like losing powers I've stolen. Rule, despite what one might think, makes no sense as this is specifically a Name that is about a ruler of void, of nothingness-so I'm not really ruling over anyone with this.

How good is magic in A Practical Guide To Evil? Would it be worth going for the Sorcery Aspect?

No idea. I just know that the protagonist becomes the conceptual embodiment of Winter at some point, which blows everything that came before out of the water.
>>
>>94698301
He might be talking about the pandering in 6, but it's a stretch to call that canonizing it. Juri herself is just a kicky lady that uses her legs and feet for all sorts of stuff; she herself doesn't sexualize feet as far as I'm aware.

...Anon. I posted A Practical Guide To Evil: Naming Supplement. I started my original post with "Trying to decide on Aspects of my Name in A Practical Guide To Evil". The specific question I asked at the end of my original post was "How good is magic in A Practical Guide To Evil?"

I was very, very clearly talking about A Practical Guide To Evil.

She's more of a violence loving bitch than a psycho; super methodical with how she infiltrated a Shadaloo affiliate to get close enough to Bison to make attempts on his life. She displays similar traits with how she persistently infiltrates and loots criminal organizations for all they're worth even as of 6. She's nowhere near as actively menacing even in 5 once she goes from villain organization infiltrator to independent contractor, and even helps Cammy out at several points where before they had a very vitriolic relationship. In 6 - after the target of her vengeance in Bison is dead - she's mostly just bored out of her skull and actually kinda lonely. Has this delusion that C.Viper is going to go rogue any day now and join her in looting various criminal organizations. Talks mad shit about Cammy and Chun-Li even though they're mostly just living their own lives. She's so hyper bitchy and rude to you when you go to try and mentor under her that it's actually more amusing than anything, and she trains you anyways. As far as evil is concerned, she's sadistic towards opponents but she's not actually that bad outside of that. At one point when Evil Ryu is rampaging (I forget when this happened since I did the bulk of my reaearch on her forever ago.) he almost endangers some kids and she found that particularly distasteful, showing she has actual standards for suitable targets. This might be a particular sore spot for her as well since Bison killed her parents and caused her to lose an eye when she was younger.
>>

Several, all but two of them being Saturday Morning Cartoon Villains, just messing around and having fun with things, usually making everyone's lives better either by accident or on purpose. Only exceptions are Mad God Jumper and Sorcerer Jumper, with Mad God Jumper being less evil by the end and more absolutely fucking insane, with a mind, body, and soul that wasn't even something resembling or imitating human anymore. While still being utterly convinced he was the only 'real' human, the only one who could define what humanity was.

Sorcerer Jumper's just an asshole, like AM if he was a sorcerer instead of an AI. He doesn't have the excuse of being genuinely batshit insane like Mad God Jumper, he just hates everyone and everything not him.
>>
>>94698266
The magic is ok ish. But I would say no to sorcery aspect, it doesn't give anything new only buff what you already have, literally just go train your magic more for the same effect.
I think there was a supplement for that jump where a few more aspects are written, of note is Dawn(or Dusk) making the user permanently more powerful every day that passes. Heroes would grind faster but villains are innately ageless apparently. That jump needs an update.
>>
>>94698565
Shame Anon Heart went full woke and is thus unlikely to associate with us problematic Nazis anymore.
>>
>>94698565
Hmm. Would LEARN be a good aspect, then? Buffing my learning/training speed is pretty crazy in and of itself, and is WAY less expensive than Sorcery.

Would you trade our resident Architectposters with foot fetishists?
>>
>>94698614
It's a Reddit jump but Hakueki Shobou.
600CP - Human Graduation
You possess the ability to graduate a willing someone, including yourself, from humanity. From that point on, in that world (meaning the effect resets between jumps), everyone who sees them will instantly know that their number one priority in life is sex, and will know instinctively that they already have consent for whatever sexual acts they like. They will, however, avoid any acts that leave permanent damage or marks, unless the graduate condones them.
>>
>>94698660

>>
>>94698660

>>
>>94698587
nta, but it doesn't help that by WoG Street Fighter uses exaggerated proportions for hands/feet to make attacks more readable in-game. So it's not reaching when people notice the prominent feet because those are supposed to be there as part of the artstyle.
>>
>>94698697
I'm gonna be honest with you: I'm really not interested in anything from reddit. Sticking with the supplement that's on our drive, do you think Learn would work better than Sorcery in the long term, for the last Aspect of my Name in A Practical Guide To Evil?

I feel like I have to specify that now because clearly some anon will forget that we're talking about a specific subject if I don't mention it every single post.
>>
>>94698679
>We have at least two or three around here.
That seems questionable considering pretty much everyone ignored the existence of Some Bullshit until the maker whined and cried for several threads, after which someone finally gave him a build out of pity.

>>
>>94698757
You can make one in each of them but only Tekken has "OC" companions.
>>
>>94698574
Which is still weird because every single CYOA I've seen by them heavily features owning bitches or breaking people into your bitches.
>>
>>94698716
Oh, sure, but also Juri does just have a foot fetishist following since she's often barefoot or has the taekwondo protection going, and is also a top tier waifu character beyond that. That was a thing that existed before 6, the devs noticed it, then they very clearly pandered to those types in regards to some of her animations in 6. I'm not really happy with it, but it's not super intrusive either. It's not reaching on their part. I was mostly given pause by the term "foot glove."

>>
>>94698492
There are at least 5 other Named with that Aspect during canon. So maybe with out of context magic.

But the whole point of A Practical Guide To Evil is that pragmatism and not being a treacherous chaotic evil cunt is more useful than pure firepower.
>>
>>94698802
Huh. Actually rather useful; thanks. Gimme a minute to go over this and possibly adjust my build somewhat.

>Highest Peak On Earth (600cp)
>Man, it feels like yesterday when you were training your younger sibling in the mountains. You had taken a few super bears by the time they had defeated a single baby one. It’s not that they were weak, it’s just that you really are that strong. Your strength, speed, reflexes, healing, talents and such other specs border on the inhumane. You’re capable of having a conversation on the phone while fighting in a war without problem, and you can finish the battle and head home in another country before dinnertime. Your capacities are such that it won’t be strange if people start calling you “humanity’s strongest”, although there might someone that wants that particular title.
Does anyone have a list of other perks like this? General capability boosters.

Funnily enough-I'm not actually interested in Perfect. Transcend is a much more interesting Aspect to me; I don't think I have a proper uncapper or limitbreaker at this point in my chain, and this is a really rather nice one that actually fits with the wider themes of the Name that I'm crafting.

I think I've got my Name settled at this point, so I'm going for Corrupt, Void, and Transcend as the aspects of the Void Queen Name that I made for myself. It fits with the wider themes of my Jumper that I've been developing, and will synergize very well when I head to Hollow Knight in a few jumps. On a thematic level, the Void Queen Name is basically a signifier that I'm a strange beast/existence from beyond reality that operates on rules that are foreign to the world and transcends all reason and logic. Corrupt fits for that because I effectively break down reality where I go-fitting for a Void being-Void is, well, Void. And Transcend to overcome the laws and logic of the land that I tread upon.
>>94698905
Yeah, they're fairly common-but I like the style of this particular one and the next uncapper to show up in my chain is like ten jumps down, so this is a nice thing to build off of.
>>

Sounds fun. Although the constant passive corruption of the minds of everyone near you is going to make your chain pretty lonely
>>
>>94698932
I found a toggle perk elsewhere-and the jump immediately following this one is JJK, where I'm gonna grab the Healer perk. Which explicitly allows you to reverse the effects of any power you have. So instead of corrupting, I could passively strengthen and heal the minds of everyone around me.
