What's the hardest your PC has ever killed anyone? Generally, in our games, at 0 HP a player can describe how he delivers the finishing blow.
>>94702258Imagine wasting time like that on the table.
>>94702258I used to play a lot of FFG's 40k RPG, where brutal gibs were an explicit part of the critical hit system when your damage exceeded the enemy's remaining HP enough. So I've had plenty of times where an enemy's torso explodes in a shower of gore when a bolter round detonates inside their chest, or their leg gets sliced off and they fall to the ground and bleed to death.
>>94702258It was more of a group effort but we bisected this wall of meat thing then used a mixture of telekinesis, electrokinesis, and magic disruption to blend it and incinerate it simultaneously since it was neigh-unkillable otherwise. It was essentially doing atomitization but without the ability to actually atomitize something.
>>94702258Yeeted a traitor out the airlock of our ship with a cracked helmet, then watched his head explosively decompress in the vacuum of space.
>>94702483>average lvl2 5e character
>playing Apocalypse World>basically Mad Max type setting>one player is the Hardholder so he basically has a fortress he rules over>another Hardholder sends a woman to make demands>she acts pretty cocky saying they need to pay tribute and she's one of the other Hardholder wives so if she doesn't make it back there'll be dozens of war trucks coming to attack>PC says he shoots her in the foot>once she is incapacitated he takes her up to the ramparts of his fortress>he flings her into the landing below with rebar spikes>they pierce her body >he carefully climbs down and begins to rape her>he says each thrust gives her both pleasure and agony at the same time as it slides the spikes around in her wounds>after he finishes inside her and she is screaming he has his men pour sap in her to staunch the bleeding>leaves her there for several days in agony as the crows start to pick strips of her flesh away while she is laying there in utter agony >obviously the hardhold got attacked after that and a lot of characters "died" except you basically can't die in that system unless you choose to and that kinda ruined the system for us so we stopped playing. But yeah that was definitely the most brutal TTRPG kill I can think of.
>>94702258>PC charged at the villain and bit him>and refused to let go for the whole combat Said PC had a barbed toungue she used to flay the bad guy alive. She just spent three whole rounds or so ripping parts off of him and there was jack and shit he could do about it; she resisted forced movement and had so much damage soak it was practically a waste of time to target her. Baorques in Nechronica can get really silly. There was a different campaign where I definitely killed an innocent victim of a body-snatcher with a rocket launcher. Just outright blew her away. In my defense I don't think our party had much in the way of saving her; this bad guy liked using human shields a lot and had her whole household staffed with 'maids' she'd slapped bomb collars on, except instead of exploding they released flesh-eating locusts that would devour the wearer and then attack anyone unfortunate enough to be nearby. Awful bitch. The next rocket blew her away too, at least.
>>94702722>>he says each thrust gives her both pleasure and agony at the same time as it slides the spikes around in her woundsHe shouldn't get to decide how an NPC feels about anything
>>94702925I don't know what that means. The first character was a heavily mutated centipede girl and the second was an iron lung with a bunch of guns strapped to it if that answers your question.
While playing WFRP I had an outlaw with a penchant for braining people with a mace. In the system, aiming for a specific body part gives you a penalty on the roll to hit, but the outlaw is one of the few classes that naturally unlocks a talent that removes said penalty if you aim at the head. Once I got that the rest of my campaign was spent exploding my enemies' heads and showering my allies in brain matter
>>94702258Brother and a Friend (a Malkavian and a Brujah) used to play Lucky Bone with their victims, either grabbing one arm each, or one would grab the legs and the other, the arms. They'd then pull until the living victim was torn apart. Whomever got the smallest part of the division had to provide enough Bypedal Blood Sacks for them to heal and fill their stomachs. It was usually a lot of fun, despite all the Humanity lost.
>>94702277>>94703589Based retards, keep roleplaying out of roleplaying games. Save that shit for vidya games instead. Please never stop playing D&D by the way. You're uh... too good for other games. Yeah, that's it.
>>94702258Not my character, but I had a BBEG turn an NPC into a flesh cube and bricked into a wall. Pretty horrific death.
>>94702258Dealt enough damage to bring them down to -30 which the GM chose to describe as them exploding into chunks of meat.
>>94702258>Be me>Be in a high level campaign>Be paladin with a dragon mount I've managed to earn the loyalty of over the campaign>Party gets in a fight with some of the BBEGs minions as a random encounter while travelling>Have my dragon grapple on and fly up into the air, intending to drop him next round for fall damage.>Before next round happens, one of the other mooks attempts to blow me out of the sky with a fireball spell>Dex save, NAT 20 (yes, cringe, I know)>DM describes my dragon using the grappled mook like a baseball catcher's mitt to catch the fireball, before flinging the grappled mook at the caster mook and the fireball and detonating to explode them both into burning meat and steaming bloodStill one of my most satisfying kills to this day (even if it was the DM narrating my dragon's nat 20 save rather than me narrating my attack).
>>94702258I spent several weeks of side sessions with the DM in between regular play chasing down and then murdering an antagonist the rest of the group (and the DM) tried to force me to let go in a Shadowrun game once. Broke into their house and beat them to death before burning the building down. I think I genuinely disturbed my DM.
>>94702258>Campaign setting includes early firearms>Overkill an enemy super hard>Describe how after impaling him on my weapon, I swing him around just in time to catch a volley of fire aimed at me from his own allies and he gets blown apart as a literal meat-shield taking the shots for me.
>>94704431You missed the point of that post SO hard you're almost going to kill me from how hard I just facepalmed.
>>94704431You sound like a horribly boring person
>>94702277No games.
>>94704383Id still roll for damage to see if any do enough damage to go through the guys dead body and still hurt you.
>>94702258Lich. He chilltouched someone solid then round house punched them in face with a girdle of giant strength while releasing the chilltouch a split second after he connected.
>>94704908TTRPGs just played by rolling dice is boring. So fuck you and all of your nonverbal kind.
>>94702277Smells like a contrarian who hates it because that's what Matt Mercer does.
>>94702258I dunno if its inspired I was playing an edgelord brujah in vtm once and curbstomped a homeless man to death because he tasted bad.
>>94702258>Lust provoking image>Irrelevant time-wasting questionEvery time like clockwork
I ordered the burning down an extermination of whole cities for refusing to surrender. The ones did were spared and treated generously.
>>94702519That's not how decompression works but sure
>>94702659>average lvl 2 5e charactermine is more along the lines of>I land the hit on his knee, then finish him with an overhead blow to the skull
>>94702851well it should be pretty obvious as to the agony part
>>94706004>TTRPGs just played by rolling dice is boring. My games aren't just played by rolling dice. But if you want to jump to false conclusions just because you can't handle the truth that your activity isn't a game, that's on you.
>>94708423Delude yourself however you want no games.
>>94707136Thanks, realism-fag. Next you're going to tell me that magic doesn't actually exist, huh?
I stand for doubling Janny's pay in 2025
>>94708778>Average Shadow of the Demon Lord player.
>>94702258Ran a game of Delta Green where the Agents went to meet a Russian drug dealer at a bath house. One Agent surprised me by wanting to smuggle in a .44 Magnum in a bundle of towels. None of the various NPCs passed their alertness rolls to detect this hidden iron. When the interrogation of this drug dealer about the spooky mind control drugs he was selling stalled, one Agent very calmly stood up and drew the revolver while the other wrapped a towel around the Russian's head from behind to try to limit blood spatter, and they blew the guy away like it was nothing.Up to now, they had barely drawn their service weapons for anything, but had been investigating for a long time and I guess the tension just got to them. This seemed to unleash them, and they proceeded to John Wick their way through a night club full of Russian mafia and then lead a raid on an old sugar plantation outside the city that housed the drug making operation. They somehow lucked out and survived, and succeeded in the cover up, despite my best efforts to give them the violent consequences of getting in firefights on the streets of Miami three times in a night.
>>94702258yeeted BBEG from stratosphere, putting her at like -500 HP
>>94702258Yeah
>>94709314Brutality is defined in part by the surroundings so I see. How did they manage to cover that up though.
>>94707136The 1983 Byford Dolphin Decompression Incident says otherwise.
>>94713815there was difference of like 8 atm between bell's interior and the outside, which in incomparable to less than 0.3 atm difference between inside and outside of the spacesuit
>>94713815NTA, but there is severe difference of pressure between vacuum of space and deep water. Water create much much more pressure. Pressure difference between atmosphere and vaccum is 1amt(vaccum is 0 atmospheric pressure is 1), 1983 oil rig was 9atm, 9 times bigger pressure diference. Even better was that submersible diving to titanic, they went from 1atm to around 330atm when it imploded. You won't explode in space, preassure diference is too low.
>>94713900Sorry I was wrong pressure in space suit is 0,3atm not 1 atm, so as >>94713858 anon said diference between vacuum is even lower.Point still stands, outer space is too weak for explosive decompression, if you want that go deep under water.
>>94713923>>94713900>>94713858>>94713815lol NEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRDS
>>94702258When we were starting out with TTRPG, I had the brilliant idea of creating a boss that controlled a small army telepathically and could change his conscience to one of his other bodies, and... He was inside a tower. Let's say I not only miscalculated the number of rooms, enemies per room, and health points of each enemy...They took 3 sessions to defeat him. Thankfully it wasn't really unfun as I had created many different rooms and gimmicks so it never really got boring for the players, but I learned my lesson
>>94702258Once, my brabarian told an especially annoying ninja that he would "rip his arm off and beat him to death with the bloody end."When we finally managed to fight the ninja and his friends, I asked the others to kill everyone else first and leave the ninja for last, so when he was left my barbarian started making called shots to cut the guys arm.Due to some rolls the guy ended up with less than 0HP without losing his arm.So I made the healer heal him with his weakest spell just so the ninja would have a couple of HP, and be awake when I grabbed his arm and ripped it off by force. This sent the ninja back to negative HP, so I had the healer get him back up again. Just a couple HP.So I could beat him to death with his arm.

>>94702258I remember once a long time ago abusing the evasive ability of rogues to perform a "one sided suicide bomb" by hugging someone then detonating the timed explosives but dodging the explosion leaving the enemy a pile of giblits.Silly but very fun.
>>94713698Yeah, it was definitely not the goriest kill, but the coldness and brutality with which it was executed was palpable. It resonated at the table because up to now the Agents had played very realistically, they didn't draw their guns for no reason, they followed procedure, they stayed in character all through the session. They were locked in, as the kids say. So when they snapped it was a really satisfying moment. They ended up dumping the guy's body in a sauna and jamming the door. The rest of the gang affiliated NPCs in the bath house never had time to respond, events moved too quickly, and the homicide detective who might have connected that random murder to the Agents died in the raid (out of chance, not design), so there was no one to follow up after the fact. The remaining events were obscured under bureaucratic cover, shifting blame for the nightclub shootout and the botched raid onto Miami PD and the Agents' covers as DEA. They got away scot free through an absurd number of successful rolls.
>>94702258a DM unwisely allowed called shots. so the party thief decided to shoot a giant in the ass with her silly hand crossbow.so I has my cleric use her inflict wounds. right to the balls. a whole buttload of necrotic damage to the balls. rotted them off. also killed him.i thought it was a mildly amusing horrifying death. very brutal.
