How does a Solar Exaltation from Creation compare powerwise to the various Shards? For Gunstar and Modern I think they're more or less the same, but Burn Legend basically doesn't have exalts in the first place, and Heavens Reach iirc has seriously wacky rules.

And in the same vein, how do they compare to Exalted Vs exaltations?

Since I was just looking at the Jump today, I'm reminded that there are actually fairies in Sakuna, though they're only mentioned in worldbuilding; In the Lowly Realm, they live in Amal Forest in Dharka (Indo-Persia?), where they jealously guard a magical tree from human magicians, being that it's the only known source of the Orb of Transformation besides the Tree of Creation.
Dharka's also home to a variety of other monstrous creatures and the practice of Golemancy, so if you want to not be a god for some reason, it's the most magical known place in the Lowly Realm.

nta but it's a canon limitation for Heaven's Reach unless you take the perk in the jump that lets you start as an Elder because the "fix" they made for the great curse permanently lessened all the exaltations so they couldn't go above E5, though again the perk lets you circumvent that. In Burn Legends there is no exaltation but going above the equivalent of E5 requires you to take the scenario to become one of the legendary masters (at least if you're going as a mugen / solar). Gunstar can get up to elder essence like normal Creation based exaltations but it would of course take a while unless you take the perk to start out as an elder. Modern ...hmm, I think the E5 limit is just a gameplay thing and not an actual hard limit, and I don't remember if there are any other shards.

I take a new team every time I get a chance. For Unova my team was Musharna, Lilligant, Zoroark, Cincinno, Haxorus and Victini. Then I used the other BW jump and went with Espeon, Absol, Excadrill, Skarmory, Mantine, and Arcanine. First time I stayed in Castelia City until the Team Plasma mess was dealt with, second time I actively took part to root out Team Plasma with a much more experienced team. For each Pokemon jump I go to I like to stay within the region. Never bothered with eggs and daycares though, normally my Pokemon stay in one of the properties. Second time around in Unova I had everyone active to go Plasma hunting and since neither of the Unova jumps were my first I already had a team of superpowered raid bosses ready to hunt.

I finally watched all the Harry Potter films.

Voldemort could've literally solved all his problems if he just killed Harry with a gun. Or if he was so anal about proving his "magical superiority", he could've just used a magic weapon like the sword of Gryffindor, or even a simple fucking knife like Bellatrix.

Also, speaking of Bellatrix, she gave me a massive case of; "don't stick your dick in crazy." Because on the one had she's an evil murderous psycho bitch, on the other hand, she pretty much an embodiment of; "I could fix her, but whatever is wrong with her is honestly way hotter."

Minor comments; Snape was the GOAT. Hermione carried Harry and Ron throughout nearly the entire saga and was pretty much the only student who used magic to it's full capabilities. The centaurs should've trampled Umbridge to death, slowly. HBP was the worst movie and I was extremely disappointed when I learned how much better the book was, especially how apparently the film cut out nearly all the backstory on Voldemort to focus on more pointless romance scenes. Deathly Hallows should've kept the deleted scene where Draco gave Harry his wand back since it would've perfectly illustrated how Harry won through the power of trust & friendship while Voldemort lost because he was an asshole who tried to rule through fear.

No he couldn't. Harry's protection had nothing to do with Voldemort using magic, Harry was protected against Voldemort entirely and any attack would have backfired. His first move upon getting a chance to attack Harry in Hogwarts is literally trying to strangle him and that ends up burning his host to death.

Exalted as a game was only really intended to go up to E5, that's why E6+ has a requirement most PCs can't reach in game (age) and many of the Elder Essence stuff only showed up in the First Age books which was an alternate setting meant to have such essence levels as an option.

In most of the Shards this limit is directly included in the rules, do not pass go do not collect 200 motes. Despite that there are many feats in the fluff that seem impossible without Elder Essence, but hey Solars. Merela supposedly choked a primordial to death below E6. Hard to say if Exaltations are meant to be limited to E5 or if it's just being more strict in the crunch than mainline exalted with that being the intended cap for normal gameplay.

Heavens Reach specifically has a lore reason for this, or at least what seems like a lore reason, as the Solars are explicitly weaker than they were during the big war with the Stellar Intelligences due to how they fixed that Shard's version of the Great Curse.

So first the Kyonyuu Fantasy jump itself is pretty great. Good options for military stuff and noble stuff if you aren't interested in harem nonsense, plus it's got some neat OC's (including giga titty Tharja). As for the setting itself basically there's a knight academy in this one nation and the lowest scoring night, Loser Big-Dick McProtagonist, gets sent to some backwater to figure out what is going on with some suspicious deaths happening there. It turns out the people are dying because a sucubus is literally tit-fucking them so hard they die. He meets her and she tit-fucks him but, surprise, he doesn't die and turns the tables on her and gives her such a good fuck she decides to follow him around. Later we learn that the reason for this is because the dude is secretly descended from an Incubus, the most powerful type of "demon" race (note: not necessarily demons) and as such has an extreme amount of lifeforce and incredible natural sexual aptitude which allows him to survive having sex with a succubus.

While he's in the area he ends up hooking up with Roxanne, an incredibly thirsty noblewoman with huge tits who is neglected by her husband because he's a pedo and he only married her because he plans to get her killed off so he can take her land and then betray the nation. Succubus girl uses her powers to discover proof of this which Loser Protag turns over to the King, incidentally he also proves that the prince is also a traitor and trying to sell out the nation. The princess, who also has massive tits, has a partial nymph bloodline and will likely kill anyone she sleeps with but, fortunately, Loser Protag's powerful lifeforce means he can fuck her without dying and the King is all for them marrying both as a reward for revealing the treachery and also to keep his daughter's nymph bloodline a secret since a normal man marrying her and dying from sex would kind of give the game away.

Usually whenever this happens in fiction the person doing the killing is so powerful (Either in terms of influence or supernatural ability.) and has inspired such terror in their follows that they're all afraid they'll face even worse punishment if they tried to do something about all the senseless killings. As I said though the jumpdoc itself is good and has a lot of great stuff on offer, one of the drop-in capstone perks in particular is really great for a jumper that's into rulership because it ensures that in peacetime your nation generally prospers and does well and said prosperity gets attributed to you even if you didn't appear to be doing anything. It's also got some nice properties in the item section to give your nation neat bonuses, like a knight academy that churns out high quality military officers and knights and a cathedral that promotes a religion of your choice and also makes women's boobs bigger that go there to pray.

There are two really great things, one is just being a Solar and Infernal at the same time. That is the best single exaltation you can get because it's the greatest in sheer power/ability (Solar) and the greatest in the amount of cool shit you can do (Infernal).

The other really big thing is an alternative to Devil Tiger which allows you to infect reality with your influence to essentially get the power to both warp reality and just spawn demons wherever you want.

Of what I've got so far I think the only one I haven't posted yet is this, so a drawback about starting in the middle of a horribly traumatic situation as is Worm tradition is already used.

The Yozis have two really massive limits on their power; the fact they're absolutely mental (which is manifested in their charms) and the fact the Exalted deliberately neutered them to stop them having access to their most dangerous stuff, grossly diminishing them conceptually and functionally at the same time.
Gunstar Infernals don't have those problems. You can mix and match with charms from full, intact Primordials as much as you like.

I can tell you, funnily enough, that if you get annoyed enough at heaven just from interacting with the gods often and return as a murder-blender scything your way through the gods and using spirit-chaining doom to force much of the celestial bureaucracy to do their job in an incorrupt manner makes the sids back off fast once they realise what you're up to.

A lot of people already jumped in on a day when I went out and touched some grass, so I’m just here to go “what they said”. Heaven’s Reach and Modern have rulesets that proclaim you can’t go above E5 but everything else, from martial arts to sorcery, works the same against specified otherwise (such as gods being really advanced hologram-style reality warping AIs in Heaven’s Reach, and demons working kinda like Warp daemons in Modern). It is unclear if this is an in-setting limitation or not; Heaven’s Reach mentions Solar Exaltations being permanently diminished as the price for breaking the Stellar Intelligence’s great curse and Modern mentions Gorol being given special snowflake powers by the Yozis. But it’s not clear. Gunstar at least very definitively has Exaltations working as per canon. And Burn Legend doesn’t even have Exaltations in the traditional sense, just magical kung fu.

An East Indiaman style ship is always a classic choice if you're planning to do ocean going trade. They're relatively quick for an age of sail ship and have great cargo capacity. in EvWoD essence is so thin that it can take days to replenish and iirc their mote pool is limited to like 10 or something total. While they're "diminished" in the sense that they are presumably weaker than normal in some fashion it would be more accurate to say that everything in the WoD is diminished, which sort of a running theme with the world of darkness in general. An E1 solar has a flat mote pool of 10. At E5, it's 20. At E9 and E10, it would presumably be 30 and 32 respectively.

Ah, that’s the main limiter on ExWoD Exalted. The spiritual forces in the world are lorewise much weaker than they were in the Exalted’s heyday. In xianxia terms, it is supposed to be a lower realm even though there are many named characters running around who would likely punt around newbie Exalted like footballs. It’s just that those characters are legendary bullshit fuckers like Cain, Lilith, the Yama Kings, the Antediluvians, archmages with preptime, REALLY old Kuel-Jin, the Maeljin Incarnae (no relation to the Exalted Incarnae. this reminds me of why I hate the Shadowrun system. I was playing a game with some friends recently and decided I was going to stop playing because I was just too fustrated with how needlessly complex everything was and how there was random errata in the side bars of random splat books that just completely upend the game and how I had to have open like four different books at all times just to know what the hell my character could actually do and how the numbers and rules worked. During the session where I quit (I made it clear I was quitting and why at the start of the session) one of the other players brought up that he had 4 extra initiative dice because of this one thing he had. We all told him that he had to be wrong because initiative dice being limited to a maximum of 3 extra dice was literally a core mechanic of how the combat system worked and that it was explicitly stated in the core rulebook that 3 extra dice was the limit. Then he pointed to random side bar in the fucking splat book for technomancers of all things and low and behold he was correct, some random page in a random splat book established errata saying that yes, actually, you could totally have more than 3 extra dice if you did it a certain way. My and every single one of the other players were fucking floored by this because we were all *certain* that it couldn't be real and yet, there it was.

Otherwise, nothing springs to mind; even the Raksha stuff I can dimly recall is more like using your feet in place of your hands than actual attribute substitution. Their route seems to be becoming the god-kings of the dead and personal-scale conduits of Oblivion, not that this was very well explored.

None have confirmed paths of ascension like what Infernals have from their Heretical Charms. Dragonblooded have a specific Charm called Transcendent Gaian Harmony that has a mystery effect after being purchased 5 times. When asked what the effect was, one of the writers commented that being a new Elemental Dragon or 3CD was thinking too small, but there has been literally no elaboration of it. Abyssals have a Charm called Immortal Malevolence Enslavement but it amounts to becoming a Neverborn's prison bitch where they can actually cheat death and respawn near their patron Neverborn's tomb-body at the cost of an Essence level (and considerable agony). In general their higher end Charms are themed around becoming more purer representations of Oblivion's annihilation and hunger, but like Solars that's generally seen as enough to be terrifyingly powerful and not require further advancement. In 1e the First and Forsaken Lion CAN potentially turn himself into a Onceborn by hacking open Autochthon's core, essentially a Neverborn that can move around and that also has Abyssals as part of it's soul hierarchy, and given the Deathlords' charmset theoretically there's nothing stopping a sufficiently ambitious and high-Essence Abyssal from trying the same thing if they can rip apart a fetich-potentially at the risk of their own Exaltation. Sidereals get nothing and are the only Exalted with fixed dates of death, although frankly mastering an SMA is it's own sort of transcendence. Solars get nothing but CAN learn Yozi and Abyssal Charms using their native charmset so the ones interested in it just kind of DYI their own transhuman apotheosis like Queen K'tula turning herself into a tentacle monster. But most Solars are just OK with being god-kings.

Lunars get nothing. There is a Knack that makes them big enough to darken cities in their shadow. But they just learn more ways to turn into stuff and get beeg/smol.

Infernals can learn a Charm to essentially become a copy of a Yozi, but that's a specific choice as they progress rather than their natural end state, and is generally a bad idea. The other, "Something not quite a Primordial," thing is what people mean when they talk about Devil Tigers. It's a path of multiple Charms where the Infernal basically crashes the contradictory natures of the Yozi together to essentially make a new quasi-Primordial theme for themselves in the interstice. This path is made up of several Charms that each incrementally bring the Infernal closer to being a new unique Primordial-like thing that is both that and an Exalt, which generally covers the weaknesses of otherwise just being a Primordial (being bad at acting outside your themes, Fetich-death vulnerability). Basically

In regards to the other questions, not generally, but it should be noted that if Conky dies a Solar (and Abyssal, amusingly enough) can choose to mantle him and take his place.

It depends on what your priorities are. If you want transhuman apotheosis in Exalted, the general trend is you end up being locked into a theme where you are OP and busted in that theme at the cost of lacking the general excellence that the Exalted can aspire to elsewhere (even the Unconquered Sun is less good at, say, hiding in the shadows IN PRACTICE than the darkness god Five Days Darkness despite strictly speaking having a bigger, scaling dice pool at stealth. He is the fucking representation of the Sun and compelled to act with Conviction, Valor and Compassion at all times as well as Temperance).

I think they are only better than him when it comes to Sorcery, since it is something that he wasn't capable of at Adamant level and Solars innovated on that. nta but in tabletop shadowrun how many times you can act in a round is determined by how high your initiative roll is and there are supposed to be strictly limits on how many dice you can add to your roll that apply to everyone whether mage, street samurai, decker, player or NPC. Having more dice is a big deal and if you want more dice they are genuinely either expensive (for cyberware or bioware) or potentially dangerous to cast if you're a mage or extremely expense to purchase as a power if an adept. It's the main balancing factor in the action economy that applies to everyone and has been pretty much an iron clad rule for like 30+ years and 7 different editions. As a result the idea that some random side table has errata that just completely overturns that is kind of bonkers.

You can repurchase it up to five times for different Yozis, so you don't even need to wrap yourself into one.

It just said that you cannot innovate new ones that require acknowledging your new form (you can still innovate some, like PPE itself), not that you lose access to your Solar charms.

Primordial Emulation Principle itself mentions that the taint of the Great Curse is the reason why Solars can't learn the Charms of non-Yozi Primordials until they've somehow cleansed their taint (and it's explicitly stated that Abyssals and Deathlords have never found out how to use Charms or Necromancy to gain the Neverborn's power). Other Solar Charms such as Inner Fire Unleashed explicitly mention they're derived from things like care for your own well-being.

As far as I can determine, it's probably a mix of "the devs really REALLY don't want players to get too crazy about mixing and matching all the powersets" and some xianxia flit foundation-logic where the devs seem to think that you must give yourself over to Virtue entirely to get the most out of your Solar Charms (the implication being that taking into yourself the rage of Malfeas, the madness of Adorjan or the Ebon Dragon-ness of the Ebon Dragon is obstructive to acting like a Solar, and therefore using Solar Charms).

Gojo is at max only 50% as strong as Sukuna and only got as far as he did because the king of curses was goofing off trying to unlock space slash. He only died because he was goofing off and not even using 10% of his full power against people he could easily one-shot. Even then, his death only happened because he was nerfed by being reincarnated and Yuji's plot armor nerf punches. The KING OF CURSES is the STRONGEST character not just in JJK, but literally ever. Honestly driving offroad with a purpose built big truck wouldn't be that much of an issue given they're made invulnerable by the skill. That said I've got a question, can we de-summon a vehicle and then resummon it somewhere else or is it a case where once we summon a vehicle that's it, it's just in the world now and we've got to figure out how to move it to various places? Because if they can be desummoned then in the worst case if your car gets stuck you can just dismiss it, walk over to a clear area and call it back up.

I figured, a cybernetic weapon with similar (or a bit better because A>D) effects to a DB's Elemental Bolt attack seemed like it would fit as an Alchemical charm but I don't see such a thing in the Alchemicals book.

Well in that case land vehicles are going to be pretty good. Being invulnerable and having unlimited fuel (and the inability to be boarded without permission) would make them super effect for getting around. Even ye olde fantasy roads should be wide enough for a car even if they're just dirt tracks and even offroading shouldn't be too difficult, especially if you get a nice big truck with good suspension and 4wd
