My Servants can help form the backbone of that economy.

The real power that makes it way easier is the witches portal ability since you can actually get minions through them. It wont fix all your issues, but as long as you can take the time to go to locations you can make invasions/ambushes and stuff easier. I don't think I'll take it still though if I do change.
