I also could get a point depending on where I plan to set my location. The most impactful gift I could add would technically be Thouroughbreeding. Can you imagine an army of Aranea with fully slotted Inborn Gifts through their entire body? With Stigmata I'm just printing out soldiers for SRTR. Honestly tempting to take Unburnt Hide with it just so people can't go "Kill it with fire!" as it pairs nicely with Last Breath.

Three locations give me an additional point to spend which I could use for grabbing Devout Signature to really stick it to Charlotte and make my children the true blessed ones under SRTR, or go for something like Ethereal Beauty as making my supersoldier army easy on the eyes would do a lot to help bolster public opinion, as even though I'm not trying to emulate the Green Tide there's going to be a lot of people who won't like all these beefed up spiders running around regardless of their existing opinions on Aranea. I don't know how long the different species usually live, but if its even something like 30 years per molt that's a few hundred years of havoc per individual.The only real weakness is that I can't fly, but when I can double jump, run on walls, and am immune to fall damage, I think I can manage.

The Hybrid Disease "Gift" punishes miscegenation between two different races that fulfill one of two different conditions, being in the same category, and having different Lifespan gifts. Next to all racial pairings that are safe from the second condition still bump into the first one, as nearly all categories have their own special lifespan gifts. The only two exceptions are Human on Anything Else, and Elf on Drakonid, and I'm pretty sure that last one is an oversight in their weird agenda.

I mean, Multiocular 0 is right there to really pack my daughters to the gills with boons... if I choose to grab the plague + sickness I could buy it and use it to swap to Look of Chaos after using Fighting Gaze to engage and activate Esurient Walk to really stomp on any single target, and throw in an Inner Vision so that I'll never be caught off guard by my Blazing Seal inevitably blowing up when I'm spamming every single gift at once.And if I were to choose the wereplague I think its an easy choice to just become a regular spider. Its mostly the body I'm already used to, just smaller.

Right now the budget for eyes is 3 points after getting Multiocular 0, but without Cognitive Speed it'll be 5. If I really, really wanted to push things and get rid of the static duration on the Wereplauge that could go up to 7, but I have absolutely 0 plan set to seek a cure so its just a dumb idea that will absolutely wreck any chance at getting the spider tide in motion.Look of Chaos + Inner Vision are two I'd know I'd definitely want to grab since they are great as singles and can be used to great effect in short spurts, so that'd leave a few options left. Wouldn't mind that trio of extra eyes since I'd be able to keep the rest of my perks intact, but getting a Oculus of Human Goodness to use with the Eye of Shadow to know exactly where someone is looking to run over and activate its effects.Was considering picking up Bulletproof skin, but I forgot what the answer to how it'd work with Esurient Walk was because I know that was something asked in the original, and I already have so many protections with Shadow Step and recovery with molting and Dead Sprint that I think it'd be a waste of points. Multiocular 0, Eye of Shadow, Look of Chaos, Inner Vision, would easily within my reach and leaves 5 spare points, but taking Bitter Sickness would allow me to take Overflowing Pupil x2 which would flip the spider tide from already being monsters to outright busted.Right now our sole weakness is magic, more in a Superman sense with a lack of defenses instead of some greater vulnerability compared to others, and instant kill attacks that even Dead Sprint couldn't save us from, as we'd survive anything that isn't decapitation or even greater damages with Second Wind giving us a huge time window to carry out our recovery process, and possibly somehow getting a cocoon ready to start the molting process immediately if circumstances allowed it.With Overflowing Pupil, that would completely get rid of one remaining weakness as we would have at minimum 12 extra lives. That's just the limb gifts alone, tossing in eyes would be an extra 2 (more if multi O stash counts), adding the body gifts adds 6, and if mental gifts, marks, and lifespan modifiers counted it'd be another 4. That's anywhere between 12 to 24+ extra lives for each and every direct descendant of mine. Of course they'd still need the eye equipped when they die from that fatal blow, but considering how resilient we are and our thought speed, not too hard.
