So question who in Keter's party was the traitor. Tam is Thamiel, Boromir was the knight who betrayed his king and died. Was the Pixie actually nilmatrix all along?

>>96422423It was you, wasn’t it? You’re the one I least suspected.
>>96422414Don't you already have a Tok thread to go to?
>>96422426I can't, Outer reddit is taking over the cyoa thread.
Katya fucked up a lot of things, but wasn't it mentioned that the party "betraying" Dirk was Nilmatrix's doing? It definitely helped stop Vtorusha from waking up soon.
My build >>96422278>>96422285The idea is to become ridiculously strong, buff that power with Icon of Icons, and a warmachina (preferably of power armor type so it's not too cumbersome). Magic is suppressed in the ecumene, and I assume by 0^0. Punching people in the face isn't.>reincarnationAdoption so I can get AP from my mother and useful perks from my father for free. One because he's just a chill guy and he probably knows some cool stuff.>giftsObviously this is a martial build, but it's not like I can't learn magic. The fighting gifts make me the strongest physical fighter in the world by default. I would hope that God Hand + Antecedence would grant me some resistance to divine power. Like how it's hard to add more water to a towel that's already fully saturated. Otherwise just crank the strength on my blessings. Noble inclination + nakama power will grow all my gifts exponentially.>mentors 0^0 with untimeskip is ridiculously busted. This allows you to manipulate causality to maximally increase the effectiveness of everything you do, including training. And with untimeskip you can do it from day 1.Xet. He's cool, he'll teach me how to fight, and his training synergizes with boiling blood.Upunth. The ability he teaches you is insanely strong, and I should be able to mange it with Word of God. I choose to believe that this fighting trance beyond instinct will give me a cool transformation with white hair o algo.>CompanionsI chose Omega because I wanted to kill her for points. But I asked myself: "Would Goku do that?". And the answer was no. So I spent 5 points on saving her even though she's not really relevant to my build.Nilmatrix because I might as well fight her. Maybe I can talk no jutsu her if I don't kill her outright.>encountersUpward Spiral is thematic for an Empyrean, and I might be able to get an airship out of it if I'm lucky. In my machine spirit so I can get my first warmachina.>>96422298that's why she's gotta go
>>96422496Such is what happens when popular cyoas pop up. You'll have to create your own thread or am simply wait our the popularity surge. You can't force the people talking about OR out. The last attempt resulted in a mostly dead thread.
>>96422505And I tried to choose deaths that aren't super painful, or are at least thematic/relevant to the character.
>>96422515Anon, we already tried to reason with him, he won't listen. He made his own thread and filled it with shitposting already. This is not a reasonable person, stop trying and just ignore him.

>>96422505>that's why she's gotta goAnd how will you do that?
>>96422498I don't remember where if so.
>>96422505Now that I think about it, getting Brastat Syn Rarruta would probably be a good idea. But I'm too lazy to rework my build.
>>96422522Which last thread? There's been a few running in parallel.
>>96422496The other cyoa thread says no OR allowed so you do have a thread that's OR free. Go on. Enjoy it.
>>96422446But she can only betray you if she is part of your build. If she isn't you can see her and kill her. Otherwise you have to rely on Zenia, or Dobruva to save your ass.>>96422484Wait then how did Keter get betrayed? I thought that you only get betrayed if you take Nil as part of the Outsider system. If you have someone with all glimpse then you can prevent her from ganking you like she did Gewgrin.
>>96422533>>96414214Currently at 1570 replies and counting while someone else made>>96419689Which hit bump limit filled with crying more about OR than actual CYOA.
>>96422487lol this made me chuckle.
>>96422548Then yeah we're in agreement. OR is fun to talk about and it's ignited a whole lot of activity. Always nice to see directly cyoa related activity boom like this.

>>96422542Nilmatrix is an actual real person out in the world you can just meet and deal with normally, anon. Charlotte got her into the Outsider System after Keter in the hopes of testing whether the 11th Outsider is a retard. If you're not dumb enough to take her bait she's happy to ignore you until either you swing at her, or she's got Mamet and Tsoshu pacified enough she feels safe to come to Doria in force and kill you, whichever comes first. Considering Mamet is destined to have Archaia stage a massive rebellion and kick the Ecumene out of the continent's interior, the later won't happen for a long time.
>>96422534>anon cries and shits everywhere in the thread his slop was banned>bumps it to thread limitTok tier tantrum.
>>96422542No, she is a side character that will along with you in the background or as an extra. Your party won't be the only people on your journey. Nilmatrix could be a soldier next to you on the battlefield, the barmaid in the brawler bar, one of the people caught up in the purganation, or someone your team is escorting. 0^0 has written her role to be overlooked by you no matter the preparations you take. You may know you're going to be betrayed and potentially when since it's guranteed to be after the end of your last Encounter, but you will not know who.
>>96422528nta but good question. Can you just kill 0^0 in a straightforward boss fight or do you need to do some convoluted plan to kill her?
>>96422567I can take her.
>>96422567>If you're not dumb enough to take her baitSkill Issue, if you can't beat small Charlie you will never manage against her.
>>96422528The power of friendship. Not only does Icon of Icons multiply the power of my gifts, it also multiplies the power of my trained skills. That goes for every friends I make, as well as the hope of countless people who will support my effort to defeat 0^0.What do you think a 10x power beastial strength gift looks like? Or a 10x power 3x god hand autoantecedence? What about every single gift, x10, plus skills, x10.Word of God is boosted by this too, I believe. And warmachina are not simple tools, they can be infused with blessings or even letters of the god script.>>96422542Now that I think about it you might be able to sniff out the traitor based on the icon of icons power bump. But maybe not.
>>96422522Only because the thread slave anon went missing.
I wonder if I can normalize turning the killing of Ecumene soldiers into ritual sacrifice. Just sic every power hungry faction on the Ecumene by just creating an extremely efficient method.Oh, I can Numerologize it too, maybe "devouring" Entramithraic on a thematic level? Like, you're sacrificing the language itself?>>96422580
>>96422567Wait if the 11th is a retard would Charlie let them live because they wouldn't be a threat? Also if the 11th is not a retard, and decides to enjoy his kingdom on the Doria continent and instantly surrenders when the Ecumene comes and begs for his life would she spare his life?
>>96422333Good/bad news Good news is I have found employment beginning next week so I won't be stressed about expenses anymore Bad news is I won't have as much time for CYOA making. I did finish a lot of Dungeon Delver v2 though and I'll try to power through these next couple of days and the holiday to see if I can finish it by end of Labor Day
>>96422591Ignore the reply, mistake on my part
>>96422571Yes but she only can do that if you pick her if you don't then you can catch her and see her.
>>96422592Men who are stupid deserve death.Men who fight back deserve death.Men who are spineless deserve death.
>>96422576She's got nations worth of divine races that immediately ressurect, some that are giants, a magic system based on mathematics that counters the God-Script and narrative power as a god to rewrite the laws of the world. This is not counting her martial strength. Sure you can beat her but it's going to take more than punching her really hard.
>>96422600>described all OR players
>>96422601She is weak to wordplay so just PUNch her.
>>96422594Good luck anon.
>>96422594Free us from the redditors already
>>96422601Just take Autoantecedence Bleeding Heart. Now you can punch her hard enough.
>>96422592If Charlie wins and conquers everything, she is unlikely to let any other Outsiders live. Both out of paranoia (it's a crazy world and never impossible that one of them has some secret trick they could use against her) and out of resentment (they are creature of Outsider System, which is JNPL).As long as Charlie doesn't win, she will presumably leave you alone if you don't intervene, but in that case Ecumene gradually inches towards victory.Jdan saw a future where (within his lifetime) Ecumene's empyreals had breached his throne room, so it can't be far off.
>>96422605Gonna make her Slovo On Yer Nash
>>96422576I haven't read the full lore so I may be wrong, but I don't think you need anything special. 0^0 killed JNPL and btfo'd SRTR and YMRD somehow, and I don't think she had anything super ultra crazy. You probably need at least a little hax, but that's not too hard to get and I imagine if you're strong enough you could convince YMRD to do something even if she's not your patron god. And in your journeys you would inevitably find some thinkfags that could think of a good plan, even if you aren't that smart or creative yourself.Bottom line she isn't a real, ascended god. She's flesh and blood, and can be killed.
>>96422625Honestly I'm not sure you can beat her, you'd need a ton of outsiders with solid builds.
>>96422627The fun part is figuring out how to beat her exactly with the choices we've been given.
>>96422632Personally I'm trying several different methods to see which pan out.
>>96422627They’re pretending she won as part of their new story.
Current plan is to harvest a ton of souls, do undead armies, and sacrifice a *ton* of her minions to get myself and others to strength. Ecumenites are no longer considered people.
>>96422601Her empire is stretched thin with all the conquering and changes she has tried to make, the Empyrean resurrection is not immediate and she has stopped their mass production because their meaning was lost, her magic system can also be countered back and her narrative powers are heavily limited in direct application. She's very strong and that's intended, but she's in no way invincible or invulnerable. Still, the best bet to win is to just ignore her and revive [JNPL] from under her nose to take away her pillar. That's why Ameno and E Nomine are completely different quests.
>>96422576No. Due to deus ex machina, no amount of direct power can kill her. You have to scheme your way into landing exceptions (yours or her own) like Ota and self erasure that bypasses her deus ex machina defenses. What rules make something an exception are unknown, so you should ask SRTR or YMRD.Now, this is assuming that YMRD isn't helping. If she is, she can directly counter Charlotte's deus ex machina, leaving only normal defenses, so direct power works. If you are good enough, YMRD should meet you of her own initiative one day, so you don't necessarily have to pick her. Pray to her to up the chances.A party of toyboxers and YMRD can probably storm Charlotte and win.
>>96422576Keter and the elves did both simultaneously and still failed. But they came close and permanently injured her.
>>96422601If you have Gewgrin's journal and a smart person/companion/mentor or ally you could find a way to perma kill Empyrians. Then she won't have a ressurecting army. Also you can legalize necromancy in your country then invite Inga Yesod. She almost took over Doria before.
>>96422640Or you can revive some of Vtorusha's old moon portals and talk to YMRD yourself.
>>96422640>Due to deus ex machina, no amount of direct power can kill her. That's ignoring the fact that she killed an even stronger and more complete god to ascend in the first place. Her pillar doesn't make her immune to being stabbed and killed that way. Sure, there should be something more to justify how that could work, but she's just as tied to the rules as you are.
>>96422601Spawncamp their bodies. Kill them until they willingly renounce their evil ways or go into the cycle of reincarnation.
>>96422639I thought Ameno is just you trying to take Charlie's place. I saw a person in the earlier thread make a good plan if you are a king leading a Dorian alliance against her. This was what the guy said it sounds like fundamentum.
>>96422659Not Tank, but it looks like yes, and the Ecumene is agonizingly overstretched right now. She has spent the past century playing a single player map-painting thing game. And she has set herself up to be Persia moments before Alexander the Glory Hog runs a train on her brittle exterior army right into the interior. Her position in Poluden still hasn't wiped out the Uruk and is dropped in priority with trying to drive the Dorians out of Tsoshu, her holdings in Mamet are coastal and like to be overrun by an actual effort from the interior, and her control over Tsoshu is likewise held together by naval dominance and active concentration. She has needed to win battles and hold land to get this far, but because she doesn't have any real opposition it has left her in a weirdly vulnerable position if we take stock of the quality of her holdings. To defeat the Ecumene as an entity there are a few key strategies needed. Unironically copying the anti-Japanese WW2 model provides a starting point.>Contest the Oceans to ensure her power base in the old homeland can't support the colonial ventures. Ideally through a combination of aerial, naval, and land based ventures>Ensure that attention of the Ecumene is divided, forcing them to divert attention to all three of their continents along with the broader naval war, preventing force concentration and allowing an aggressive attacker to win chosen battles>Overwhelm the intelligence gathering activities of the Ecumene while actively leading insurgent efforts, primarily in the outer regions of Tsoshu where anti-military efforts and ethnic grievances can be exacerbated.>Avoid getting caught in 'decisive' battles and focus on the encircling of enemy positions, gutting supply lines, resource depots, ports, and the like while allowing a lack of fuel and hunger to do the real damage.
>>96422645>way to perma kill EmpyriansDestroy their soul. Methods are common >>96391073.>>96422650Right, that's one way of contacting YMRD.>>96422653>That's ignoring the fact that she killed an even stronger and more complete god to ascend in the first place.Yes, I am ignoring that because that gets into "the Elder Gods let her" theory, which doesn't matter as much as people think it does. If the theory is incorrect, we process as normal. If the theory is correct, us losing means the world is reset and we all die, so we process as normal. The theory only really matters to the Elder Gods, not us. We are fucked either way if we lose to Charlotte.
>>96422634I've got several in my build >Working with Siggard, Ingra and Majin Khier Blazhko in figuring out how obtaining Empyrean status works, weaknesses, and coming up with a spell to sever their ressurection connection>Obtaining Drakonic Solipsism for myself>Using Ielziah's teachings to develop Role magic in which after obtaining Solipsism, start assigning narrative roles to others as buff and debuff spells >Learn Numerology which counters >Jdan's advice for figuring out encounters>Getting the nation of Light&Dark and Dragon Realm to form a temp truce and teach their forces how to kill empyreans with the spell we developed >Icon of Icons building up since childhood in the form of side questing all over the world >Learn the spell pun that injured Charlie and work on developing another Those are the key points but there's more sprinkled about.
>>96422668You missed the point, if Charlie killed [JNPL] then she's not any more invincible than her. Hell, she's even weaker because she's not fluent in the God Script and is more like a demigod than true divinity.
>>96422659>>96422664Its a shame most anons in the outer tide didnt bother with Fundamentum. Only two builds took it so far and one of them doesn't even have a royal claim.
>>96422687Fundamentum?
>>96422687Solo builds are probably going to focus on a 'final quest' but you do have a point that in a tide there's some merit to people with the other quests teaming up with those who took the 'kill god' quests.
>>96422681We don't know how she killed JNPL."Her pillar doesn't make her immune to being stabbed and killed" is correct if only in the fact that it is deus ex machina, not her pillar, that makes her immune. No attack can get past deus ex machina because it can create an equal or stronger one instantly and in greater number. ANYTHING possible, so if you can do it, deus ex machina can as well and likely do better. Using deus ex machina to cover herself with magical shields makes her invincible to anything that isn't deus ex machina or an exception.
>>96422687It’s just kind of boring and limiting. Ultimately, unless you take 0^0’s side, you will come into conflict with her and you will die unless you are prepared. And map painting only accelerates that. You can build empires all you like with the other goals. In fact you may need to.
>>96422691Basically kingship and coordinating the countries to fight the Ecumene. The tide is so lacking in leaders that I dont think we have any outsiders with royal claims to the Exarchate or Empire of Light and Dark yet. The quest section made Fundamentum sound lame but its actually pretty important.
>>96422668Don't think there is a way to kill the soul. The whole point of the project is to reincarnate the souls so they become gods. Souls will switch between races so being a majin or undead will happen and souls will eventually whittle down if that is the way they are perma killed.
>>96422715Gotcha, I think I actually do have a royal claim on malkuth, I just didn't use it much. I think I can legalize necromancy if I get Yesod out of the way.
>>96422726No wait, scratch that, they're already using it.
>>96422704Deus ex machina still has to follow the rules of the world and is not unlimited in use and potential. She was almost killed by the elves use of the Godscript and is still injured from that. She cannot just say that she wasn't injured and suddenly be back at full force because the rules of the very world prevent that. She can nudge results her way but once that result is set, she can't change it unless she wishes to be erased. If she could just say, I now rule the world and effectively do it, she would have won a long time ago.
>>96422736If that's the case, there's nothing stopping you from legalizing necromancy even further. Scholarships for necromancers, pro-necro propaganda, corpse retrieval wagons, etc. Everything to get ravenous corpses to dull the Ecumene's meatgrinder.
>>96422687>>96422691>>96422715Hmm my plan is to be born to the Viceroy and his wife, and then true love Kalliope. That gives me a royal claim to two kingdoms. I also want Jdam as an ally/mentor. Other than that I haven't selected anything as I don't know what inborn gifts are good. But companions/mentors that I'd want are Arsak, Killyn, Nezvana, Gwrill, Mao, Kashtanka, Keter, Spako, and Gewgrin for mentors who'd be interesting. Companions would be Evdokia, Cilren, Blazkho, Kallipe, Savmak, Araith, Sonya, Zenya, Omega, YMRD, Su'uq, Gunter, Dobrava, Apatoia, and Inga Yesod. Many of these probably don't need the outsider system to teach me or join me. After all if I'm the prince of the Exarchate Arsak is a loyal general a blue who hates Charlie. He should logically be willing to help train me for "free".
I mean, the elder gods are kinda fucked up if you think about itSouls are basically unborn gods and you’re doing WHAT do them?
>>96422687I would probably have done the Fundamentum style action (I say it like this because my quest would still have been E Nomine) of taking over a country if the toybox wasn't an option.I'd have changes to the rest of my build, but assuming I don't, with my current build, I can pretty easily impersonate the Emperor of Light and Dark, Iwnn Aureole, to instantly take over the biggest country that is against Charlotte. It wouldn't be hard to plausibly reinvent "myself" and cleanse (or replace) the filth in the country with the help of metaknowledge, Katya, and my mentors-turned-companions.t. Wanderer
>>96422770Getting them to ascend?
>>96422687I already did Fundamentum last time. It's really tempting with the new Mentors, but I want to try something different.
>>96422756>Other than that I haven't selected anything as I don't know what inborn gifts are good. You're going to be a ruler so Icon of Icons is tailor made for you. Besides that, go for Noble Inclination and Ethereal Beauty for charisma purposes and the various mind perks like Intelligence for leadership purposes.
>>96422779Well Senamotis your mom if you aren't an exarchate bastard has intelligence as an inborn gift so you can get that, and noble inclination from her. Your dad Marsagat gives you wisdom, and both a royal claim.
>>96422740>She was almost killed by the elves use of the GodscriptThe pun. An unconventional attack. An exception. That's my point. You have to use such methods to kill Charlotte. It is impossible to match deus ex machina in conventional output.
>>96422807Deus ex Machina is limited to what she can directly see. You could stab her in the back with a dagger infused with the Psi letter. That or hit her with something so ridiculously strong that she story cannot save her without breaking it's own rules, like throwing a mountain at her.
>>96422774That’s what JNPL is doing, or what she claims to do. SRTR clearly causes a lot of suffering and does not seem to care about this goal at all. YMRD is the least harmful, but only because she is the most apathetic. The main problem is that they all have no regard for the lives that mortals actually live. They literally call them toys or chess pieces. Progress towards ascension, yes, but they don’t seem to care at all about minimizing harm in the process or even being efficient about it.For example, what if you had ten thousand razor blades shoved down your dick, and your parents died in a house fire that disfugured you, then you lost all your fingers in a blender accident and got turbo magic cancer and were raised into undeath as a slave? Sorry bro you had to suffer because SRTR wanted your brother to have a tragic backstory o algo. If you’re lucky you get 0.0001% soul progress out of your entire life. Better luck next reroll (not that you’ll remember it lol).
God dammit I forgot to reply to the cyoa
>>96422837>That or hit her with something so ridiculously strong that she story cannot save her without breaking it's own rules, like throwing a mountain at her.So going to space and dropping a big ass asteroid, the moon itself or some other big object on the Ecumene would work?
>>96422837>Deus ex Machina is limited to what she can directly seeNo, that's YMRD's limitation due to being an avatar. There is no evidence to Charlotte having the same limitation.

>>96422839I think you're forgetting that they also reward and empower people for overcoming their struggles or living their lives as normal. Jpnl says the common simple quiet life is just worthy of meaning as the adventurous one. Ymrd rewards you for exploring the world, delving into the god-script and taking chances, srtr will put you in horrible situations but boost you for fighting back. They're all good moms that want you to experience everything life has to offer so you can join them. Ymrd would rather have one big apoloclypic event which is likely what pandemonium isJpnl is fine with everyone going at their own pace Strtr wants you to struggle so you can go through more experiences faster
>>96422878>Quest: FundamentumWhats your plan?
>>96422839SRTR's perspective is that incredibly eventful lives (as a hero or villain) give souls lots of XP so they ascend faster. The problem is that only the ones she's paying attention to are developing, while others might even be slowed down by being spent as pawns in the big players' stories. The problem is, as you said, she causes a lot of suffering doing this. That's her contrast to JNPL, who pays attention to everyone equally, even the ordinary, the inconsequential. Her goal is to progress everyone all at once and give meaning to even the least of lives, but in exchange it goes very slowly. It takes forever. But there are only little lows for her little highs, suffering, but not as dramatic. YMRD's main thing is creating the substrate for these stories to build on, the background world and lore, but she has a soft spot for nerds, gamblers, and the desperate, so anyone who tries to learn more (and thus, make their own effort towards ascent) takes big risks, or who is in their last desperate moment, all get her special push to level up their soul more.

>>96422989Less obvious is how you'll conquer the other nations. Dis has a couple ways to go about, but the easiest is being a girl and taking Thaumiel, but that also makes Kalliope harder to deal with. Malkuth is a problem still, their main rebel faction, Qliphoth, don't want to be part of the Empire either. There's no obvious in I can see for the Old Throne, and they can just spitefully rewind your future over and over, unless you made Zwa bang one of their princes I guess. Dragon King's is a bit of a mirror of Dis, if you go boy, you can give your virginity to Paxxia and receive Aponoxia, who will be your in to conquering them, but if you're a girl or you don't pick her, there's no easy way to conquer them that I can see.

>>96423021Do you really need to take over the other nations though? As long as they're willing to work with you to fight 0^0 they shouldn't be a problem.
>>96423023I set up the Gunter Dobrava strategy to get rid of Nilmatrix and also set off the Second War for the Heavens, with Dobrava collecting Dirk’s eyes to activate it. Ideally Dirk somehow survives, Nilmatrix is redeemed and inside Evdokia while the Empyreality is split between his party, and The Second War ends with True Dragons coming back and being made extinct for real after dealing significant blows to 0^0 and Ytorusha becoming an amnesiac. It might also just be too much for Dobrava in which case, oops.My mentors will help me master teaching and being able to convert inborn gifts into techniques. With All Glimpse, I should be good to give away Caster Intuition and Spiritual Feel, along with the main one Stigmata. Stigmata should help [SRTR]’s influence spread from inside her toybox and I can teach it to any potential hero or villain. I will use my Daemonhost to spawn Majin that will be teachers and my students. Their inborn expertise will be useful at the start and afterwards they can go out and teach, helping Majin grow a better reputation while also enhancing my Godhand blessing.Longterm I will become a Highlord and make Midoria my home base to help deal with Ecumene naval advances. In the down time I will make an academy and start raising a new generation of heroes to become the companions and mentors alongside myself to the 12th. Hope the Tide I'm in is decent.
>>96423027The Old Throne is destined to flip to the Ecumene going from Jdan's the future, the Exarchate's civil war involves a faction that thinks they should defect to the Ecumene because 0^0 is an Outsider, and the Dragon King's blurb outright says Paxxia is probably planning on attacking the Empire while they're distracted. So uh, you kinda have to stick your dick in that. Malkuth is less certain, but if Qliphoth wins they're going to pull a Dragon King's and greedily landgrab against the Empire and through that shatter a unified defense against the Ecumene.
The Quilpoth are just free starter sacrifices
>>96423029>Hope the Tide I'm in is decent. You took a lot of characters like shit you took Gunter, Dirk AND Blazhko, you're going to be stuck in a world by yourself.Nice build though. Its nice to read a build with an actual ending for a change.
>>96423040But you can deal with those in peaceful ways? The Civil War is preventable for example. Waging a war against the other nations under the pretense of unification is just a waste of time and manpower when 3 of the 6 Great Powers are already cooperating, flimsy as it is for now. You're only weakening yourself for the Ecumene to gobble up whatever scraps are left.
>>96423053It's pretty naive to think intervening once is going to completely solve the core problem, Yphont.
>>96423077Hey, I didn't say you'd just have a single civil discussion over tea and not follow through with more. That was Yphont's mistake. She did succeed in forming the Eternal Empire but then declined to stabilize it further by being their Empress. Besides, would you rather help maintain and improve a shaky alliance, or deal with a bunch of freshly-conquered peoples who may be a little too bitter to fight in your name?
>>96423098The problem here is that the shaky alliance is the Empire, Dis, and Malkuth. The least problems. I didn't even mention Dis in my post, because whether you're in charge or Thaumiel is, their goal is the Ecumene regardless. When talking about the others, there IS no easy solution. The Old Throne is destined to flip Ecumene and is also gearing up to attack Malkuth for touching their gay chair. Dragon King's is ruled by a selfish bitch who is going to attack the Empire heedless of any worry over Charlotte because hurr dragons stronk. The Exarchate civil war won't be as easy to solve as just heading off one point when it can erupt, especially not when it's full of agents who can serve as spies and terrorists for the Ecumene, as you implied ruling them directly is the only way to drive home a solution. Well, how about that for the Dragon King's or Old Throne?
>>96423109>Old ThroneThere's reason to believe that Jdan, the Old Throne's King, supports the fight against the Ecumene. It's implied that he's only acting on having given up. And ever since he learned the future, Jdan has been cold to his son, a known Ecumene sympathizer, which tells us as where he stands. The Old Throne's aggression towards Dis and Malkuth may actually be a falseflag to militarize themselves for the Ecumene, hence why Dirk is choosing not do anything about it because he already knows. >Dragon King'sPaxxia is actually the one who's pushing for greater cooperation with her allies per her reforms with slavery and the social strata, which is making her unpopular among Drakonids. I recall one of the female options (a Mother or Companion maybe?) is pushing for betraying the Empire, not her. So she's not the one to target here. With that in mind, it's really not that hopeless a situation. There's opposition in each state, yes, but the leaders are pretty much game so long as you rally them. The only real problem here is the Exarchate, and you can probably navigate around that by the weight of your title alone.

>>96423761Frustrated. One of the builds I actually liked is illegal. I'm not sure why I ever bothered using blessing of JPNL, it's clearly the inferior mode.
Drakonids (and True Dragons too) fucking suck. Over a thousand years of constantly losing to the actually important characters. Anyone who takes that race is in for disappointment, they're the true "jobbers" of OR.
>>96423779UnderstandableI know that it can be bothersome to have your writing constrained like thatAlthough I do still think it's part of the fun, and hope you play with us
>>96423793Elves are true jobbers. They don't have a single victory and not a single Outsider sided with them. Except Keter, but we all know how it ended.

>>96423779>>96423739>>96423322Not sure why misalliance can only be picked once. If you have misallianced twice there is a lot of things you can't pick so managing to navigate your build around that should be fine.

>>96423773Seems like a jobberWho does this guy job to?
>>96423831It says one parent and that it can only be taken once, rules as written it's illegal. Which is stupid, I agree, but that's the curse tank has delt us.
>>96423841She was dark elf and lived underground. And Tuzik was not a real outsider.
>>96423828Elves have the best damage record against 0^0 of anyone. Keter did nothing, they're the ones who maimed her. They also did significant mental damage to her in her childhood, which we should count as a win.
>>96423831By picking misalliance twice, you easily find yourself in the scenario where you just look to the parents and childhoods in terms of numbers and just pick the most cost efficient for your build.Sure, you can already do that without the gift, but at least you don't end up in the situation where everyone just picks Maisonara and one of the dark elves as several builds have already shown.
>>96422333>>96422872This is the same guy as Father of the Paracausal Arts https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96406340/#96411446, isn't it?Say that you're updating. It makes it easier for all of us. No one wants to interact with an abandoned build, a non-entity.

Honestly I might even be convinced otherwise if I find a way to revive Aat rather than Xian.Generally I have two doubts with this build, one is that I chose Jisilbert for more MEANING rather than Arsak who mentors "how to make people get along 101" and that means I might not be able to deal with the friction of a party containing three Demon Lords, the other is that by choosing Iotated Greater Yus rather than Vedi I should find a way to get rid of my death slot thank to my gifts but then I've got no fate protecting me.
>>96423857yeah, don't know if significant mental damage to her in her childhood should be counted as a win, its probably one of the main reasons the continent got nuked.
>>96423831To avoid powergaming and to make it so parents don't become just point values, Meaning is an important thing in this scenario, including your parents' meaning.
Honestly I think tank fucked up when making 0^0 such a big threat, it drives people to build for power due to fear rather than build for meaning. Everything that isn't preparing for 0^0 feels meaningless.
>>96423964Dunno. I feel meaning on the meandering path i am charting for myself.
>>96423387That trick is the gayest shit ever, i sincerely hope he'll just add a "Cannot be target by Dice Fudge" to Keter eventually.

But the author said himself it works. With that said, Gunter and Dobrava are still absolutely underpriced even without that trick.
>>96423964Just take Rhucuphre and she won't even know you exist. Find a way to rez JNPL at your lesiure, you don't have to kill 0^0 in a fight to beat her.
>>96423989That's true, but it is so op, that if allowed, it's almost mandatory. You are severely gimping yourself, if you don't do it.
>>96423980People are really channelling their inner 0^0 this time around. Meaningless exploit which only serve to dodge fate or get bigger numbers.
Part of the issue is the you're having a character chart out their plot themself. Which is usually a bad idea, they'll always optimize the fun away. Especially for outsiders that from from an optimization world that doesn't care about meaning.
>>96423997>be intentionally weakerAre you preparing to become Erginter 2 by weakening others' builds?
>>96424005If you don't have a Meaning besides optimization, you'll job to everyone else. Meaning is the power source of that setting.

>>96424005I didn't do thatI both self inserted and had fun, found meaning, and did things because I wanted to do themYou can win and have fun at the same time, and having real stakes makes taking risks an actually meaningful endeavor
>>96424010Yeah and I hate crafting everything from the start, it makes it meaningless to me. I'd rather it just develop on its own independently of my will. I'm a mere vector for knowledge spreading, let the other outsiders have this so called meaning.

Some think that she's just a jobber they could beat in a fight and some think that she could just wave her hand and murder the whole tide while yawning.Once in the world, the story is dynamic and how you will be able to deal with her will simply depend on the story you are trying to tell. Maybe you sneakily revive [JNPL], maybe you find a weakness in her ascension method, find meaning in the final words of the Godscript, bring back Vtorusha, or maybe do the classic adventure where you find a weapon capable of killing her. As long as it's not boring and makes internal sense, any build could potentially beat her, you don't need to be a super powerhouse to do it.
>>96424052She's not even the Outsider who lived the most yet, and she won't be. We (Outer Tide) will win.The other Outsiders didn't kill the Gods simply because they didn't want it since most are not turbo evil or retards.
>>96423995You are gimping yourself by not getting nilmatrix reward though.
>>96423990I thnk it shouldn't work simply because she doesn't have encounter plot armor by being in Gunter Lilim's team, so she shouldn't be able to abuse it to solve Nilmatrix.
>>96423975Doesn't JNPL allow it too?
>>96423964Charlotte was a lot scarier before the update when we didn't know the extent of her control nor the state of the rest of the world. And yet the builds weren't doing that.
>>96424075I'm under the impression she still does have plot armor under Gunter's team, nothing seems to indicate companions lose their "Special" just because they're under him.
>>96424074Nilmatrix reward goes to Gunter anyway. And the problem is the reward must come with risk. But with Dobrava there is no risk, only huge reward.

>>96424105Because we took Buki. Though you can still avoid her for a long time either way.
>>96424108Maybe if she also took Devout Signature

>>96424145Erginter's legacy...
>>96424085My point was that, from how I understood it, Dobrava's special was based on her knowing she couldn't die until her encounter happened, and other ensurances given by the system, wich she doesn't have as Gunter's companion.
This wouldn't be a problem if we had more Fundamentumchads
>>96424147>wich she doesn't have as Gunter's companion.and she doesn't because?????
>>96424098No, I was asking, doesn't JNPL too give all languages?

>>96424157No, because she has no Languages described on her box, just like she doesn't give you any Inborn Gifts because her description doesn't say she has any. The system most likely counts what's written there to determine what you inherit.
>>96424151Because Gunter doesn't meet them through encounter, doesn't he? Their meeting can happen in a messier way, and they can die more easily.

>>96424164Ok, misremembered then Tankista WoG, updating my build sometime then.
>>96424147>Dobrava's special was based on her knowing she couldn't die until her encounter happenedI do believe she will still have those ensurances even if she's Gunter's companion. Gunter IS fated to meet you ALONG with his chosen companions, they cannot die before that.
>>96424172She can't lie in text written with JNPL blood. She just bounded herself by writing this. Just Rhucuphre here, she can't even attack you.
>>96424112She's too paranoid and evil to let another Outsider exist. The only way I see her not wanting to kill you is if she seriously believes you're just taking Liberta and going back to earth. Otherwise she's going to try and murder you eventually, regardless of what she says.
>>96424179>Gunter IS fated to meet you ALONG with his chosen companionsIs he? Ok, then she's got even more insurance, as she will survive all of your encounters, at the very least.
So is she 100+ years old, or spawned as an adult and lived for like 100 days?

>>96424201By that logic it should be impossible for her to kill Nilmatrix before you meet her as well
>>96424201If he isn't, that kinda removes the Meaning from his special ability, or so i believe.I still think the Nilmatrix thing shouldn't work, because it still must be the last encounter, the moment you encounter Gunter along with his companions, Dobrava would already have done her exploit.
>>96424238Yes, that's perfectly fine and is a better interpretation since it also removes that gay ass exploit.
>>96424246>because it still must be the last encounter, the moment you encounter Gunter along with his companions, Dobrava would already have done her exploit. So, what's the issue? She did. That's it.Just change the text that refers to (you) as the target of the betrayal to Dobrava, the same way you do it for all other Encounters she has.
>>96424246Meet gunter last i guess
>>96424233Evdokia and Ota are, they scale like crazy, especially Evdokia. [YMRD] has a busted power but it's extra expensive. Omega is gonna cost 5 if you're not a dick, but it's almost impossible to kill and learns fast.
>>96424262When that happens, Dobravia will have met you along with him because she's in his party, her hax will stop working.
You should add Zemlya to your build. It's guaranteed extra security if you don't get around your death slot. Should be an easy pick for anyone with their head on straight.
>>96424233>or are all the more expensive companions really that much better than her?I'd say they're more unique one-of-a-kind existences. You're not going to find another Evdokia, Omega, Araith, Esu, Ota, ???, Du'um, Darina, or Inga unless you make them yourself
>>96424261>Nilmatrix and 0^0 THINK dobrava is the 11th outsider because fate led nilmatrix to herMakes it even funnier to be honest.

>>96424233>0= Either a cute fairy companion or a trap>1= Person with a somewhat mundane advantage that will make your job easier depending on the build, like giving you soldiers, a small nation or a unique skyship>2= Standard RPG party members with unique non replicable skills>3= Unique characters that can change the direction of the story with their skills>4= Heavy hitters, just having one in your team can make you a threat to nations>5= Extremely powerful characters, even without the outsider system their plots could make for plots with just as much gravitas as the Usurper plotThat's a general idea of the companions and their cost, at least what I get out of it.
>>96424271>UndeathNo thanks.
Isn't part of the plan to put Nilmatrix in Gunter's party too? I remember Tankista mentioning that the exploit only works if they're both in his party instead of yours.
>>96424238Yes, I think that she would kill her when you meet her, solving the encounter.>>96424246Ok, and yes, the Nilmatrix exploit is still kinda lame.
>>96424271Savmak, return to your loli and stop shitposting.
>>96424291Pretty sure you can still take Shadow of God with that too, since it only needs Nilmatrix to be chosen as a companion. It doesn't need you to assign it to her.
>>96424261Cannot happen because Nilmatrix is also on his party. She ALSO must be alive and well to when she meets you, just like the rest of his party. If Nilamtrix is in your party, then you must select Shadow of God yourself.
>>96424300He's correct though. It's going to stop you from effectively ascending, but worldly power is better than becoming one of the witches. Savmak was only fucked because he was genuinely just an anti-Old Throne build.
>>96424291Because if you take Nilmatrix then her encounter is the final one, so Dobrava's own event would have already happened and her causality powers expended. The whole exploit is sort of skirting the rules a bit but it works.
>>96424300Wish i had a loli to return to desu
>>96424330Yeah I was asking because I saw people go for the strat without putting Nilmatrix in Gunter's party.
>>96424305But then, it'd need to be your last encounter still. You'd need to meet Gunter without having meet Dobravia, else the hax are off, and that's a really iffy thing to assume, since his special ability says she's on his party.
>>96424328I simply gave it to a companion.
>>96424317>Cannot happen because Nilmatrix is also on his party. So?>She ALSO must be alive and well to when she meets youWhy would that be the case? It's only said so because she's fated to be your Companion. If she isn't, then the text naturally redirects to Gunter. It goes like this: Dobrava solves all of her Encounters before meeting Gunter. Then, she meets together with him and his other partymembers, which includes Nilmatrix. This is the moment when the Shadow of God happens, and she solves it.And then Gunter and his merry band start meeting you.
>>964239640^0 is both overrated and underrated by a lot of people. But consider that Maou, even though she was depressed and unmotivated, ran rings around Charlotte and constantly humiliated her for a hundred years. Charlotte never even beat her, Maou just got tired of it.
>>96424352>Dobrava solves all of her Encounters before meeting Gunter.>Then, she meets together with him and his other partymembers>This is the moment when the Shadow of God happenIf she did her special encounters before, she won't have her guaranteed hax for Shadow of God.
>>96424352>Dobrava solves all of her encounters>Then, later, she solves another encounter
>>96424233Ciliren was wielding the Law of an 950+'s year old continent-spanning Empire from a certain perspective. She's not as expensive as other picks because the Firstborn Empire is dead, and its Laws practically defunct and without the weight of lives backing it.
>>96424317Nowhere does it say that the first time you meet Gunter he will have already assembled his party though. From a story perspective it even makes sense otherwise, with you two being rivals and gathering companions separatedly.
>>96424352In that scenario, she would have meet you (11th) when facing the Shadow of God, her neverfail ability is off.
>>96424370>>96424376Alright, how about this: she solves all three before meeting Gunter. And then when Gunter shows up, she presents him a box containing sealed Nilmatrix. Therefore, they've all met, and they're all now in the same party.>>96424388There's no reason for her to meet (you) if she's not your Companion.
Is there a companion with a claim on Malkuth that can inherit it after Dirk bites it? Geminara was changed to be Jdan's secret daughter so she has a claim on the old throne, Savmak has a claim on the Exarchate, but so do you, and yours is stronger, Kaliope has a claim on the kingdom of light and dark, Apantoxia has a claim on the Dragon King's Most Divine Realm. Not sure if there's anyone with a claim on Malkuth.
>>96424398Inga Yesod is right there.
>>96424398There is one
>>96424381>I'll just assume i'll never meet the party member of the guy who i'm constantly fated to meet.Yeah, sure thing, and Blazhko will never be taught by his mentors until you've already died too.
>>96423774Congratulations!
>>96424398If you don't want to be his sibling (or give him another sibling with the perk), his filthy southern cousin or pick Inga Yesod, you can technically make Gunter the king of revived Qlipoth and absorb Malkuth.
>>96424396You still gonna need to kill her sealed on the box, which you may need to unseal. And you have to do it without Dobrava guaranteed power too, because she already used it up.
>>96424398>>96424406Inga Yesod just triggers bad reminders of the Dual Nightmare Monarchy days. Best bet if you want to get the crown of Malkuth is just to have Unnr as your Mother, and maybe that Qlipoth encounter.
>>96424438>You still gonna need to kill herThe Encounter doesn't require her death.
>>96424452Yeah, it only requires her final defeat. Honestly considering she's an Empyrean sealing her is a more narratively likely final defeat than killing her.

>>96424452Dobrava ability doesn't ignore the encounter order still, you'd need to meet Gunter without meeting her ever (which i believe to be pretty unlikely). But even then, if that happens and you count sealing as her "final defeat" (which by "final" assumes she won't ever be defeated again, something 0^0 may like a lot) Dobrava would get Empireality.
How did Inga Yesod kill a bunch of liches as a literal porcelain doll with zero gifts? She's just that hardcore?
>>96424468>(which by "final" assumes she won't ever be defeated again, something 0^0 may like a lot)She won't be defeated again because she'll be my lover.
Debating the specifics of Dobrava is meaningless because the author has already confirmed that it works.
>>96424476But anon, that means she won't ever lose to your cock...
>>96424468>Dobrava ability doesn't ignore the encounter order still, you'd need to meet Gunter without meeting her ever (which i believe to be pretty unlikely). What's the problem with the Encounter order? She did all of her Encounters in order. Because its description refers to you, it was her last one.And then she and Gunter start meeting you, from your very first Encounter.>But even then, if that happens and you count sealing as her "final defeat" (which by "final" assumes she won't ever be defeated again, something 0^0 may like a lot) Dobrava would get Empireality.Yeah. >>96424474Gifts are rare and rng, so combat's mostly skill-based here.
>>96424482>Because its description refers to youI meant to her*
Reminder that if you don't use betrayal most foul on Jdan, he will drive you to your death, because you cucked him with Geminara in another timeline.
>>96424481Nuh uh, that can be interpreted as her winning, so it doesn't count
>>96424482Well, if you think the risk of she being unsealed and never being able to suffer defeat again is an acceptable risk, then sure.Though you could just say Gunter and Co meets up after all encounters but Shadow of God, without Dobrava ever meeting you, then Dobrava kills her and gets Emprieality without that risk.
>>96424474Magic.Also, look closer at the picture and read the description again. It's a skeleton inside a doll.

>>96424502>she has a skeleton inside her RIGHT NOWwhat a slut
>>96424416All I'm saying is that picking Nilmatrix as a companion for Gunter doesn't make it obligatory for her to meet you before being offed, and if it's Dobrava doing Shadow of God all the text that refers to you refers to her instead, so at worst she'll have to do it as her third encounter.

>>96422333I've seen alot of discussion about how much of a hidden threat Nilmatrix and Rhucuphre are. But nobody mentions Alezandre, dude is legitimately responsible for 70% of the current problems on the Doria. I'm almost tempted to go the Sarmat route and choose him as a companion just to slit his throat myself.
>>96422972No doing it from the other side is easier. Starting a war on the Doria continent is not advisable as you want to save your strength to fight the Ecumene. There are only two Exarchate characters in the CYOA the Viceroy and his wife they are parent options. However on the Empire's side there is a companion who will be the heir to the empire Kalliope. So if you are the Viceroy's son and marry her then you can get both realms without firing a shot.
>>96424542The real reason is that Warmachine mounting didn't exist before. Since she now needs it to use the throne, the fastest way to do it was to consider her Jdan's daughter.
>>96424547Lol, how did I miss him. Will killing him even change anything? His reincarnation will just get right back to work since he's already killing people at 12.
>>96423040Jdan knows that his son will betray him however and he does not like the Ecumene so if you are friendly with him he might be able to plan around that.
>>96424547He's more of a local threat. His real use is picking him and getting a super assassin for anyone wanting to play politics, which no one seems to do.
>>96424542I don't get it. How can she be his daughter with a description like that? So in "lost future" they had some relationship with Jdan but now she's just his hidden daugher and just on the throne. I don't get it.
>>96424571Tankista might have forgotten to change that, or he knows that she's trustworthy, unlike his son and other members of his court.
>>96423198Well there are a few options with Dragon Kings most divine realm. You could just have your alliance have the NATO clause where if someone attacks one nation it will be considered an attack on all. Yes the Dragons might be tempted to take some land while the Empire is distracted, however if all of the rest of Doria ganks them it's not worth it it's too risky. If the Exarchate is actually unified with the empire the calculus changes, also the Dragon queen does know that the Ecumene wants to wipe her out so it's not in her long term interests to backstab us while fighting them. And if it's really needed your daughter can just kill her and take over.

>>96424765This is the main reason I'm going after her. I'm supposed to have a fun fantasy isekai adventure but she wants to ruin it. Had she just been a normal warlord I may have ignored her but no, her ultimate goal is to turn a magical world ran on the power of storytelling into a dull hellhole void of life and whimsy. If I could I would launch her into a nightmare of being a corporate wage slave for 100 years and see how she enjoys it.
>>96424805Boring anime if I am, unless this is still before the first episode
>>96424793Can Daemonhosts just make unlimited copies of them? or of any Majin? Including themselves? I didn't quite understand how the template thing works,.
>>96424750Anons have negative charisma and are entitled assholes. Their foul personality is enough to turn off even the kindest characters.
>>96424789You said>Unless you try to ruin itWhich implies>Even if you do nothing this will happenNo I wouldn't and I think a woman falling in love with me wouldn't be strangeBut I would need to act
>>96424461Actually if you read the lore Inga is a tactical genius, only second to Sarmat. She actually conquered the Old Throne. The Dual Nighmare monarchy fought a bloody war with the old throne, and they managed to assasinate the muddish king while he was on his chair then Inga raised him as a high level undead under her control. He could still use the chair. She had him time travel back to when he was still alive, he was still under her control. So she had him time travel to before the war even started so he was under the control of Inga at the begining and the Old Throne becomes hers without having to fight at all. Just as she planned.
>>96424819If you make too many copies it'll probably dilue the meaning, but yeah you can make as many as you want
>>96424753Regular humans would never have the loyalty and commitment to pull off the Longest March
>>96424833Does this Meaning thing also apply to common things? The more soldiers that exist in the world, the weaker every soldier gets?I though, as Blazing Seal states, it was more of based on how often you use the thing, not how many exist, so you'd just need to wait for a big cooldown.
>>96424772I was talking explicitly about companions, but it's true that Mentors follow s similar logic. Jdan and Gerwyn have a very specific use but they are worth the mentor slot.

The only objectively moral use of the True Love Perk is on characters that are incapable of feeling positive emotions like Du'um and Dobrava. Sociopaths deserve love too.
>>96424843We know it applies to races since Charlie had to stop mass-producing Empyreans because it was diluting their Meaning, so probably, but armies are still a big deal.
>>96424772What if I want to seduce men?
>>96424851You can't create an army of supersoldiers with Thoroughbreeding. Some people will probably want you dead? I don't remember if the setting has the classic "purge the undead" faction or not.

>>96424809A ton of people bringing citations from reddit. And tankista himself.Didn't want to trim it down to just a synopsis and a shopping list or split into 11 replies.
>>96424793All of those are extremely unique templates that are remembrances of older versions. You cannot just replicate them without first murdering them and understanding how their template works to remake them and their meaning would be lost if mass production was possible.Regular made Majin are things like Aes and even she was custom made. So Meaning works off of how special something is right? And it works off of the conservation of ninjutsu trope? Like how 1 vampire could be a massive threat to the entire cast of a story and might even kill a few characters off, while later in that same story the cast could fight an entire army of werewolves without taking casualties, with even the weaker characters taking on more than 1 at the same time.
>>96424828The thing that stopped her is Eriganter punching her in the face and killing her. Everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face.

>>96424906Okay, she's only half-empyrean, my bad.What about her then? 0^0 fuckery?
>>96424900>>9624903No he's right. Empyreans do not have death slots. Exceptions are half breeds like Keter and Tam and Omega who was born an Empyrean instead of being turned into one. As far as we know, she's the only birthed one.
>>96424911>werewolveslol I forgot to change this to vampires to complete the reference I was making
>>96424918Why would you need True Love for that? Just have a royal claim to the empire.
>>96424825You need to act even with True Love though, it just make the feelings develop, like the situation i described would. Nothing guarantees a loving waifu in the CYOA.
>>96424926This. Having Zwa or the sickly king as your parent puts your royal claim higher than Kallo
>>96424911It seems like it works by the rules of "when everyone is special, no one will be".
>>96424926Because she has a royal claim also. So that could cause political disturbance/civil war if she is passed in favor of you. Remember she is popular with the soldiers. True love ensures that you will have a good political marriage where you guys will like each other and it will lesson the chances of a divorce civil war.
>>96424906Such crucial detail should've been included in Empyreality's description instead of putting it into extra content that barely anybody bothers reading.
Main issue with undeath is getting stuck, which grey wandering can help with.
>>96424934No Zwa was banished and possibly disinherited. Also again getting a royal claim on ONE kingdom is nice. But by marrying Kalliope you get the Empire, so you can use other methods to get a second royal claim. Like being born in the Exarchate to the Viceroy.
>>96424939Why would she pass it to you? you do know that two married monarchs can coexist at the same time right? both of you will have equal authority over the empire.
>>96424944No the main issue with undeath is being a stinky washed-up corpse.
>>96424922>0^0 fuckery? That's the same thing I thought, considering if she hadn't YMRD's backing she would have lost her empyreanhood.
>>96424930Nothing except usurping a pillar for yourself and writing it in YMRD blood.
>>96424956That's why you need to steal Herleva's method
>>96424953>Mono archy>2you have missed a spot
>>96424953Hmm? We weren't talking about marriage, we were talking about the guy who said he'd just have Zwa be his mom and get a royal claim without marrying in. I said that's possible but there could be issues with that as then you would be competing for the throne. Unless you marry her. She'd be your niece in this case I think.
>>96424960Why stop there? Kill SRTR and YMRD too, and reincarnate them as your harem girls.
>>96424966Just change the rules lmao.
I will try to ask again, as the discussion is a bit more alive.>Does anyone knows the norms about poligamy in the setting?
>>96424988Go and stay go
I think I know what 'One's Soul Revolving gift is. His death slot had him die a peaceful death. In this world when you die, you're reincarnated again with no memories. This wasn't the case with One, he was brought back as an undead to be your mentor. So I believe Soul Revolving gives the gods free use of reviving you whenever they need you instead of being reincarnated.
>>96424890It seems that you explicitly need their physical letter to make them and you would need to kill them for that. Plus Daemonhost seems limited per person in what it can make.If it was so easy, Dei would have an army of super demons using only the best letters available since she already has All-Glimpse and isn't against just using them as tools.
Do more Southerners live in Exarchate or Empire as of present day?
>>96424950She's on the run, not banished. Her illegitimate sisters want her and her child dead because they are a threat to their reign
>>96424857>Romancing post-nilmatrix dobrava
>>96424992What?>>96424996He had both Yee and Zemlya, he for sure would have reincarnated in a weird way.
>>96424996I don't think so, that doesn't sound like neither something an Inborn Gift would do mor something One would pick even if it did.
>>96424784Your Rentry?
>>96424988The Light and Dark empire has three sisters each born from different mistresses of the previous emperor. I don't know about marriage but that was allowed.
>>96424996Maybe things revolve around One in some sort of way
>>96424988Well it's not clear. I'd say legally it's not recognized. As we can look at Emperor Gewgrim. He had his two true blood children, and then had three bastards from three different mistresses that he later legitimized. They aren't legal wives. Also the Exarchate gives equal authority to the Viceroy and his wife, having 2 absolute rulers is already an issue with danger of divorce civil war so I'd say no. But the outsider who did nothing did have female companions that he hung out with we don't know if the elves of Orthrung legally recognized it.However if you are a powerful man like a king you can have side pieces if you want. It's just that any kids from your legal wife are higher in succession for the throne once you die. And bastards come after them. Not sure how legitimization works. But yeah it seems to run off a medieval european model so you can only have one legal marriage to get politial/royal claims.
>>96425011One loves all of the gods and is a noble soul. I wouldn't put it past him if he told them "use me as needed"
>>96425004Still she is the one on the run and not the three sisters. So again it would cause issues. I'm not saying it's impossible or not a good story. I'm just saying that marrying Kalliope from the outside as prince of another kingdom would be the smarter and easier choice.
>>96425005She's the MVP of the encounters so she deserves some appreciation.

To him, eternity was not promise but prison.Knowing that time would corrode his resolve as surely as it corrodes all things, Manusya forced his own hand. He wove a trap across his incarnations: a fated betrayal, a scripted death, and a return in the husk of undeath. By designing his own downfall, he ensured that the doubter would be erased, leaving behind only the residue of his chosen divinity—Rust, Entropy, the slow collapse of all Meaning. What remains of Manusya is no longer a man but a principle: the hand that unravels tropes, the silence that denies epilogues, the corrosion that strips stories of their false promise. In his wake, gods and mortals alike are unwritten, ushered into a final sleep untouched by cycle or script. He is not the Elder God of Providence, Fate, Chance, or Causality. He is the absence of them, the Shadow that Waits underneath the Pillar of Silence.
>>96425646That's not really "teaching", it's just extracting their knowledge and copying it over you without any MENTORING process. And startiNg the game as their old friend is even more of a reason for they to be your companion (ie. Does Vigilant Strand help an All-Glimpse build at all?
>>96425743Minor point, but the system also guarantees that you learn something from them. Specifically, what it says you'll learn in their description. Maybe they teach it willingly in a traditional mentorship, maybe you have to steal it from them like what Eirina did with 0^0, but one way or another you'll learn. Putting in real effort produces better results than getting lazy and letting fate take the wheel (or worse, actively trying to fail), but you'll get some results no matter what you do.

>>96425784>You would have to turn off your passive radius detection from All-GlimpseIs that even doable?
All-Glimpse is the most overrated gift.
>>96425772Maybe you are right. But there is still no contradiction with a been born knowing everything they would teach you. Also suppose they died and their death gave you an insight. If you remember their death, it's obvious how this insight stayed with you. But if you get some abstract knowledge, that's harder to explain. Also if they teached you elven magic and how to cook a duck, you should remember how to cook a duck. Also Gewrgin Aureole counts as a mentor, but he never even knew you. So in a sense he was just a source of knowledge and not a person in your story.

>>96426442It's not stated how long is normal between reincarnations, but there's definitely a gap (see the Remember the Demon event). It probably depends on what plot JNPL wants to slot you into next. One in particular was fated to reincarnate as an undead by Vtorusha (yee+zemlya). That requires weird circumstances -- undead are usually raised, not born -- so it's probably taking longer than normal. I wouldn't be surprised if other outsiders have also been offered One; the system is a pretty convenient way for JNPL to resolve those letters.

One of my assumptions in the cyoa is that anyone with an age that’s really close to a multiple of 100 was a previous choice option. So Keter could have chosen Maou or Ciliren for something, for example, but didn’t. Everyone else probably thought of this too but I thought it was neat.
>>96426491To be fair, hard to not basically be social distancing when we're all trying to keep our parents/companions/mentors in mind when choosing our locations. >>96422333Posting this from the other thread as someone suggested. It took a few days of work, but I've transcribed all of Outer Reincarnation into a character card for use with AI through Sillytavern and the like. So unwieldy at over 160k tokens is it that I had to toggle lazyLoadCharacters in the config file and bump up used RAM to 16GB to stop getting out of memory errors. While I doubt any AI at the moment could replicate Tank's writing or achieve a super great understanding of the CYOA's contents (nevermind engaging a CYOA with your imagination), the idea was to be able to have the gods comment back and forth as you put together your build. I'm no botmaker so the starting message is just what settings to change to not crash Sillytavern, and the card itself has no directions on how a model should interact with it, but the main CYOA's text (from the images themselves, not the excel document since I noticed there were differences) is all there, including the Outsiders page. So if anyone wants to fool around with it and make it into something more usable, or has any use for the CYOA's contents in plaintext, here you go.
