It took a few days of work, but I've transcribed all of Outer Reincarnation into a character card for use with AI through Sillytavern and the like. So unwieldy at over 160k tokens is it that I had to toggle lazyLoadCharacters in the config file and bump up used RAM to 16GB to stop getting out of memory errors.

While I doubt any AI at the moment could replicate Tank's writing or achieve a super great understanding of the CYOA's contents (nevermind engaging a CYOA with your imagination), the idea was to be able to have the gods comment back and forth as you put together your build. I'm no botmaker so the starting message is just what settings to change to not crash Sillytavern, and the card itself has no directions on how a model should interact with it, but the main CYOA's text (from the images themselves, not the excel document since I noticed there were differences) is all there, including the Outsiders page. So if anyone wants to fool around with it and make it into something more usable, or has any use for the CYOA's contents in plaintext, here you go. I skipped the first page's blessings, but tried to format everything else as best I could.

You should repost your stuff in this thread >>96422333
That's where everyone is at currently.
>>
>>96427045
I'm not really the guy to explain how text-based AI works. But this essentially gives all the 'information' of the CYOA to the AI, which if the model has enough context for (amount of words it can process at once) and depending on how well it understands it, could use it in the way you want.

I haven't attempted to use it since the only model I have access to with high context is Gemini (which in my experience gets pretty schizo after 126k context), but in theory you could essentially say 'You roleplay the gods, I'll be the 11th outsider who just arrived' and it would respond to you as you pick options and talk to the gods.
>>
>>96426986
>at over 160k tokens
Good grief, is there any local model that can even work with that? My preferred ones go up to 32k context maximum.

It sounds like the non-locals can be larger, but 160k would probably still kill it. I'm finding 32k for plus, 128k for enterprise/pro.

>Dark Elves
◆◇◇◇◇
I hate S&M/stripclub/tribal-tattoo-aesthetics takes on elves
>Tomb Kings
◆◆◇◇◇
I like skeletons, but Egyptian theme doesn't resonate with me and many parts look like late 20th century car parts, I strongly dislike the bottom left figure, I like bottom right figure
>Legion of Everblight
◆◆◇◇◇
I dislike stupid looking weapons like the bottom right has, female figures honestly almost always look bad, humanoid miniatures tend to look best when they are blockily shaped
>Eldar
◆◆◇◇◇
not really evocative of elves, big mecha looks dumb
>Stormcast eternal
◆◆◆◆◇
red dragon is ok, magma dragon is really cool shaped, except the red veins of magma on it look kind of like bruises or like the figure has been damaged and color has worn off and not cool at all

For OR do either of these sound viable?
Using Panarmament to bypass the piece of Old Throne missing and start up the Greater Warmachia with Ytorusha inside?

Collect Main templates of every letter and have them recite their meanings they have instinctive knowledge of in order to complete a full sentence of the Godscript Alphabet and ascend to godhood. Might need a way to hive mind them or otherwise make them considered one.

Does it only facilitate the "some people are in a room and leisurely chatting" kind of scenarios? That's boring and cringe imo. I've found that in LLM fantasy scenarios, something more tangible is necessary to keep it fun, like rooms that characters can move between, items that they can hold and use and drop and give, etc.
>>
>>96428652
Can you wield a broken tool?

Using those templates, do you think you can assemble a meaningful sentence of Godscript that would ascend you?
>>
>>96428652
Hearing other people recite their Meaning doesn't mean you really comprehend it.
>>
>>96428652
Having all of the parts of something doesn't mean you have the whole. How are you going to assemble the understanding of all of those Majin into one proper Meaning?
>>
>>96428703
I'm also not convinced that Yer/Yery/Yer' majin can actually exist. They're living spells, and spells that start with those letters just instantly kill the caster.
>>
>>96428720
That's just because nobody has deciphered their Meaning properly, so they're being misused.

You remember that time you excitedly thought Echoes was going to come out early 7 years ago? It was me, Anon.

I broke into Italics house and forced him to focus only on Magi Case and kept erasing his data so he would have to restart. Then I went online and made him think dropping spells was a good idea so that when you didn't get Echoes, you wouldn't be able to enjoy Magi Case either.
>>
>>96428730
Could be. I interpreted it as a syntax error, like you how you're not supposed to start English sentences with conjunctions.

I mean, if it were that easy someone would've already done it. Starsight requires that the writer understand the Meaning, and it explicitly doesn't work if gods are the ones writing. All glimpse is dependent on your own skill with it, and if you were good enough with the All-Glimpse to read the Godscript from start to finish, you'd already be a god.

I'm still stuck in choice paralysis. Which is a stronger companion choice:
Phershepa-from-Erebus via dice-fudge,
or Ilfek-from-Duat reincarnated into a Majin via Respawn Point encounter, also using dice-fudge?
Warmachina pilot, or custom Majin? Ancient assassin, or someone with ecumene fighting experience? Ilfek would probably also be more loyal.
>>
>>96428945
First of all, why do you want a dark elf so bad?
>>
Honestly the hate towards furry characters is greatly over blown. Media, people, entertainment and humanity as a whole loves furry characters from ancient myths to books to movies and animated shows and video games.

The whole le furry, fur suit shit is greatly overblown and hyper focused on by people clutching their pearls and constantly looking for it. As long as the presented characters are clean and drawn in a likeable style and presented that way, no one really goes "muh furries bad >:(."

>>96428927
I still can't believe Italics shoved that into the lore and no one in-universe actually knows about it. So now you have multiple races that have a hidden inclination to be friendly towards humans.

I also wonder how that works in Lamentation. The world implies there are bandits and shit. So do the furries kill humans and avoid brainwashing completely? How does their world work? It presents itself as being friendly and PG-13 but reading it sounds like a rated M game.

Subjective. We should go by a case by case for western due to western artists having higher variance for stylization than eastern artists especially those from China and Japan who while still different art style exist tend to have a more unified look.

>Why do they always have hair.
Often because hair is a mimic trait that shows a chracter to be more human and eases in comfort. While characters can not have hair, it is easier for humans to identify with characters that have hair and helps raise a level of comfort and approach. Even characters without full hair sets like Mickey, Donald, Goofy have hair that can be combed or modified in a way during animation to show them copying human traits and making it easier to identify with them.

It's all part of the anthro form, human form.

>I thought the appeal aas that they are aninals.
Not for everyone. Some people like kemono and furry characters because they are exotic races in human form and communication. It's no different from running into a green skin martian woman in a suit and fish bowl. It's attractive because its foreign, it can be enjoyed looking at and for some people who are fine with it, it can be arousing due to the sheer alieness but also closeness in human form with some familiar traits.

Hair and form that resembles a human = more comforting and accepting because that is how the human brain is wired and what humans seek out when meeting new things.

Even if they went full bird or something as humans are accustomed to birds and have a generally positive relation to them, such forms are still positive.

Now this starts to break down if you make the creatures break humanoid form too much especially in the face area like reptiles (which can still be accepting to some) or even insectoid like spiders.

You know maybe it's weird that I like it so much, but I do like how the Asura view humans that help them/their family so positively that they outright adopt them and heap honors and power on them and such, but the way they lord over non-honored humans pisses the humans in general off so much that the vast majority of people would rather just smash an Asura's stone at first opportunity instead.

Tl:DR

Humans are attracted to things that have human or close to mammalian faces/forms or something familiar. Deviances do exist.

Anthro like kemono and furries often keep many human design traits and often paired with familiar mammals or aves, so humans can like the characters but also can be attracted to the fictional characters in a sexual sense or be okay with it in a hypothetical sense.

Sunk cost fallacy.
I think a few years ago I would've talked about the lore, the intricate city descriptions, something about the shark aliens, how its tropes meshed well with my imagination or something - but nowadays those arguments feels dusty.
>>
>>96429249
There's a strong argument to be made that Unbound is pragmatically the best immortality option. Lot of people in the world, amongst those whose life situation is sorry enough it probably wouldn't be extraordinarily difficult to get someone to agree. But nevertheless, I don't like the thought of being a spirit as opposed to me.

Sacrifice would be a tough moral choice if the life drain were 1:1; year for a day is just nuts, no sale. Even if you set out to only take life from 'bad guys,' you'd have entirely too much personal incentive that way to condemn people.

And of course, nobody wants to be decrepit and feeble, so I guess I'm bound to be Bound. Saw some cheesy object picks as e.g. the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. Presuming that this kind of pick is unsuitable...not sure what's best, actually, probably something made of a particular hard stone, so it wouldn't degrade on its own and would be unlikely to be inadvertently damaged.

Past that: I don't really care for spells per se, but more enhancement and addition of abilities, which leads me towards:

Level 1:
>Perfect Sight. Not much to be said about it, just handy.

Level 2: Lot of the good stuff is here.
>Perfect Form
>Boost Strength
>Haste
>Steel Skin
All always-on, and make one a modestly superhuman figure. (Of course, what you would practically do with that kind of superhumanity is a bit ambiguous on earth, but it's nice to have. As is the attractiveness.)

Level 3:
>Fly.
I have to presume that the 200km/hr is a lower limit and not an obligation.
>Regenerate
Just in case, for myself - and being able to heal others of injury and disease would be wonderful, were it possible.

This puts me at 17 points used out of 15, so I'll commit to 10 years as the wizard's assistant. I figure that's a fair compromise.

Enchantment: Planeshift. I'm going to assume this is implemented in a reasonably desirable way, i.e., that there is no chance of it leading to the Dimension of Instant Death, that you can readily return to a desired dimension you already know, et cetera. Were that not the case, I'd definitely take Bonus points instead, drop the dogsbody, and take blast, arcane bolt, and...shield, I guess.

>>
>>96430436
My plans and ambitions in short:
>Wage war against the Uruk and Ecumene on the Mamet continent.
Easier said than done, I know, but the uruk are not a unified front and they surround most of the Ecumene who are spread across the coast and unable to push inward. Focus on uruk warbands that do not border the Ecumene at first.
>Promote a mage-cult with me as a chosen-one figure.
Zhuchka does exactly this. Even pushing my influence to human tribes. I'll introduce Elder God worship to the tribes if I can get away with it.
>Marry the Queen and lead the Kingdom of Kingdoms back to greatness.
True Love helps here but I'll need more to gain legitimacy in the eyes of the tribes. Victory in battle will help, a growing religious group calling me the Messiah can't hurt either.
... I do realize Simka could be married by the time I meet her.
>Absorb or ally with as many of the human and naga tribes I can in a grand alliance.
We all have the same enemies. If they still don't fear the Ecumene we still have reason to unite against the uruks.

Maybe, just maybe, Keter can be convinced to move by her daughter, or maybe she could get her act together in another 100 years. She would be very welcome if she wanted to help.
I also found out right before typing this that Su'uq was Keter's companion, dunno if that will mean anything.

Yeah I don't know how to beat Charlie but her Ecumene can clearly be fought, can be beaten back. I can buy time for the Twelfth and halt her as much as possible. Maybe I'll find a way in 100 years.

In 100 years I'll pass every trick, every potential weapon, every useful skill that I can to help the Twelfth defeat 0^0.

A messianic figure that centers around the formation of my lesser godhood, my innate connection to a dead goddess, and reflection of my own Meaning and those of others. Will go around helping people, revitalizing hope and belief in the Elder Gods and rallying the fight against 0^0, oppose the Ecumene however I can (my choices say that enough), but my end-goal is ultimately to find a way to revive my Mother and/or confront the Usurper using the secret knowledge Pukluxun has long carried with her. Whether or not Buki means facing the Master-in-White or the one whose red blood stains us all, I can only pray for a life well lived regardless.

And, since there is a part 2, since every CYOA needs a half-assed waifu page, I'll pop it on here for anyone that cares.

>Agri World
>Oceanic
>Resource Surplus
>Astropathic Relay
>Ork Infestation

Welcome to The Water World! It's actually called Auqeus II, but everyone knows it as The Water World. That's all we've got going for us, really. The planet's surface is 99.1% water, of a moderate salinity.
Population of 20,000, the planet also hosts a skeleton crew of Tech-Priest rejects that run a desalination plant for mass conveyors that need fresh water, but most ships just take the salt water, since salt is a pretty useful commodity, too.
Unfortunately, getting 60 billion liters of water into space takes quite a while, so there's a bit of a queue, and it's not nearly as profitable as you'd expect. We service three Universe-class Mass Conveyors a month, roughly. A lot of smaller ships pop by for a top-up of their supplies.

Losing 200 billions of liters of your planet's water, permanently, monthly sounds like a lot.
But Auqeus II has a LOT of water. We could keep up that rate for roughly 150,000 more years. Who knows, by then, we might have enough landmass to support a larger population!
Oh, we also have an Astropathic Relay up on a station in orbit. I guess segmentum command needed some way of getting messages to the rest of the planets on the fringe. We are a bit of a way in the boonies, which also doesn't help traffic.

Didn't help us avoid the damned Orks, though. They fell from the skies to take over the world about 100 years ago, before my time. They all drowned, obviously. Roks don't float, and they didn't have much of a chance of hitting land. The old locals thought the problem solved itself, but apparently a few stragglers made their way to a tiny island chain that was thought was too small for a settlement.
They're throwing spears at each other now, from what I've heard. Savage brutes...

What are the Outsider Relics mentioned throughout the cyoa? I caught the Savmak Sword, Burelom (drow pirate companion), and Pukluxun's rifle (possibly belonging to Vtorusha?). Is there any others that I missed?

I'm an Outsider, it's a given. Plus I'm not planning to directly rule it anyway, just throw my weight around with the Heterodoxy and make sure they side with the Dorians. If necessary, Savmak's own claim is right there.
>Zhuchka
And compete with the Elder God purists and Heterodoxy on their doctrines? They're called "mage-cults" for a reason. Again, I'd rather build on my heritage as the literal son of a goddess on a continent that already know/venerate her, dead she may be.
>>
>>96428803
Keter trickers have to pay the price of irreparable sexual trauma. Let's look at the facts, you decided to be raised by an anon, who knows that you're really an adult inside a child's body, with a child's brain that's back in its formative years where it's all plastic and corruptible. This wouldn't be a problem if you reverse adopted her for sportmanslike reasons, but unfortunately you turned her into a DP faucet, you know what a point faucet is? A drawback. You decided to buy an unlisted easter egg drawback worth 20 points when blindness and complete incapacitation are 15 points. You are hosed, you are completely nonfunctional as a human being and now you're trying to burden everyone else for committing the non-crime of being too cool on a certain year.

So if you pick Vedi and learn all languages you can force the 12th Outsider to take a lethal trap option?
>>
>>96430666
As an additional issue, the Orks did find something a while ago...

See, I came here with a fleet, ready to stop the entire Ork invasion, which should have been the size for major concern. Top brass noticed they all effectively drowned themselves, had a laugh, but wanted a regiment to monitor the planet, and mine was selected.
This posed a problem. You can't drop ten thousand soldiers onto a planet with a population of (at the time) nineteen thousand, and expect there to be enough food and space for everyone! Orders were orders, so we needed to go down there.
Then the colonel, Emperor bless him, said the orders we got didn't say we needed the WHOLE regiment.
>Grab some idiots that can't shoot straight and send them down to watch the greenies!
>And someone to keep them out of trouble!
That's how ol' Sergeant Ayy Nons got promoted to Captain A. Nons and got the absolute scummiest 70 soldiers from the 404th Infantry Co.

Long story short, I became governor when the previous one decided to try and summon some kind of tentacled warp monster.
My boys might not be accurate, but frag missiles don't need to be direct hits!

ANYWAY, the Orks!
They were mining for something, probably metals, and struck some kind of underground structure made of porcelain-white-bone sort of stuff. As Orks tend to do, they tried weaponizing it.
Me and the lads headed out there to nip the problem in the ass, when hundreds of Eldar popped out of the thing and started doing our job for us.
Outnumbered, I ordered my boys to only shoot the Orks, or at least miss in their general direction.

The Eldar weren't happy we were on a planet now connected to a 'webway.' Apparently this planet used to have a lot less water 50 million years ago, and the Orks found the only entrance that worked and wasn't under the sea. Once mined, Eldar can now can come and go as they please.
Now we have Eldar watching from that island chain, telling us to sell more water so they can uncover 'Croneworld Alt'lentes'
>>
>>96430708
The Keter Trick has to mean something. Take the Gunter-Dobrava-Nilmatrix Trick. It's "Dobrava uses her certain fate to setup causality so as to resolve Shadow of God into the best possible outcome." Uruk Slot Spam, "The 11th Outsider could have had more people to aid him, but he didn't, and facing all those Uruks on his own means he must be more powerful than normal." Benewhisper and Simplified Duergar gives you bonuses on empty slots because the first got its letters from a certain language used by the True Dragons, and I got nothing on the second besides the world is old, the mountain's grey.

The Keter Language Trick implies that, for whatever reason, the fate that Keter teaches you all of her languages isn't guaranteed. Normally, you would've been effectively taught everything. So, what exactly does Fate arrange so Keter doesn't teach you all of her languages?
>>
>>96430730
The problem being, we're out on the ass-end of the eastern segmentum. Hell, we didn't even arrive to fight off an invasion for a damned century!
And the Eldar keep bugging me to sell more water, somehow...

>Mon'keigh! How has your race not cannibalized the single decent world in the galaxy that we need them to exploit all the resources from?
>Can't you all, at least, fail in ways that matter!?
Yeah, that'd be the seer C'irais. The fact that I called her "Seer Seer Eyes" for a week is still something she's upset about, but damned if it wasn't funny watching her be upset.
To her great chagrin, the Eldar can't get rid of all this water by themselves. While they have some fancy tech, not much of it was designed for the task of diving down under tens of kilometers of water and dealing with that pressure, much less excavating under it.

So, they're playing the long game. The very, very long game.
They live for pretty much forever, allegedly, so long as nothing kills them, so they're just going to wait for humans to harvest the fifty million years worth of icy asteroids that hit Auqeus II since they left.
This puts us in a very strange position - they hate that we're here, but they need us to be here. Now they're just claiming half the islands in that chain while trying to kill the Orks on the other half of the chain. Apparently even Eldar tech can't get rid of all the Ork spores, forever. They torched the islands, once, and apparently missed just one spot, since next year those little gretchin' fellas were back.
I asked if they wanted to wait another 100 years for the Imperium to come and show them how to REALLY scorch the earth, but they declined. That's fair, I s'pose.

So, welcome to Auqeus II, which is no longer just The Water World. We're the Ork world, Eldar world, the crone world, the fringe world, the relay world, and also a water world on top of all that.
Speaking of, can I interest you in a discount on megatonnes of water? Buy two, get one free!

Rhucupre has a point, it is just her exact implementation of it that is likely to bring the worst kind of apocalypse. But breaking the barrier between dream and reality, isn't it basically what Elder Gods want? The dreams are part of divinity after all. I just need to purify those that leaked out into the world a bit.

So, after a childhood filled with conversations about the nature of reality (pairing up One and Rhucupre is the best) I am going for the source of corruption - that damn chair. Other may handle Charlie by themselves, I am shutting down the nightmare factory or at least repurposing it for my own ends. Get rid of Jdan, impersonate him so other Outsiders don't go after me and do a few rounds of aborted futures, then go back to the beginning and render it safe. No Vtorusha this time.

Next I just ditch the throne and venture into the Underground with my companions to find the Fifth grave, study nightmare and work on collapsing reality the proper way.

And all this with SRTR's support, she told so herself!

Lol, just realized that the only Outsider who completely "earned" their power according to Charlie's hypocritical standards is Erginter. She missed out on getting mogged by Erginter so she's trying to influence the 11th into filling in for her.
>>
>>96430992
Erginter was carried by her stolen gifts not mentors. Her jobbing to Aat despite that proves that having lots of inborn gifts don't amount to shit if their user is a retard.

you should probably consider the languages-known-by-contact a gamey abstraction similar to how "parent" slot includes Uruk and JNPL.
>>
>>96431017
Considering she took all of this stuff herself like any other outsider, it kinda sounds like self loathing on her part, like she is not only critiquing you, but herself too for her past choices and failures. I guess when the system says she hates everyone it probably includes herself, maybe she even hates herself the most of everyone.
>>
>>96431062
If they knew other languages you should be able to recruit them with those languages too
>>
>>96431034
Yeah, same problem with locations, most have only one or two which is too few IMO. Like Serebryanka's description places her in Arcadia, but you can't even pick Arcadia with her language (Everman).
>>
>>96431066
>I guess when the system says she hates everyone it probably includes herself, maybe she even hates herself the most of everyone.
She does, almost every reason she has for that hate is her own fault and a part of her knows that.

But "recruiting" someone within the Outsider System is a gamey mechanic. It's just like how, you know English (or else you couldn't be reading this post), but unless you also learn Salian (which is the same as English) you can't recruit Salian-speakers.

Since Narrative is the force of nature which can be harvested to achieve desired results and Keter with her Hero's journey currently at her lowest moment, you are putting her in the redemption arc/forcing her to confront her life choices and allowing her to overcome them.
>>
>>96431341
Erginter 2.0
Going to focus on training myself to master my gifts before using Tenyota’s special for all of my gifts and then Fiert to Evidokia. At that point she will have Nilmatrix in her afterlife along with Dobrava and Gunter after their climatic battle. Rather than inhabit my useless body she will be reborn instead.

Going to fully lean into being a bastard who collects the strongest people out there into my Afterlife. Seo’s unique necromancy should have some interesting interactions with it. With the Help of Zuchka and Pukluxun, I will have a mage cult spreading faith in me to power my Icon of Icons, with it being taught to adherents to further instill faith in me along with my God Hand Blessings.

My main goal is to unify Mamet under non-Ecumene rule again with myself as the new religious head. Strengthening myself with ritual sacrifice of Ecumene soldiers and using my Evidokia powers to further use them in death.

For my fellow Tide members I will be mostly opportunistic. If there are stupid ones, or ones that follow 0^0 I will try to kill and absorb them. The more relaxed or ones against 0^0 are fine until she is dealt with.

Fiert says the fate for both is destroyed after taking effect and Aat's page has pic related so I just assumed it was an innert Fiert for the letter.

Yes, obviously I know that there is a parent that could let you inherit it since I'm asking about inheriting it.
It literally says "[SRTR] patron God only"

I guess a normal child who inherited it wouldn't be born a worshiper of SRTR either so I was leaning yes, but it's the only inborn gift with a patron requirement so I just wanted some clarification/a second opinion.

Otherwise it's as usual. Train your powers, dodge Nilmatrix, find a way to destroy the Ecumene, have fun.
>You can’t die until you resolve all your other fates, right?
No, but you can be kept in a cage, or tortured, or worse. Don't mistake Fate for invincibility or you'll end up like Keter.

How did you read that post and come away thinking I do?
Stigmata is the only inborn gift with a patron requirement so I have no other examples to compare to.
There are gifts with race requirements that lock you out if you take a different race. Is it so far fetched that a gift with a God requirement would lock you out if you take a different God?

Now that I think about it, Katya was the only true failure outsider. She has no God backing her and her Charlie patronage sure went down the drain when she moved against her, her heroic tales are second hand at best and the only truly good one was stopping the lich leader from coming back, and her whole legacy is being the cause a continent was nuked and having gotten several countries to hate her. If you don't do anything about it she will probably go down in history as The Shameful one.

The path to divinity is experiencing life and finding meaning in different perspectives. Jpnl even said that long living races have a difficult time with this since they don't get to experience new lives as often. The plan of all the elder gods is to welcome everyone into the ultimate eternal godhood and to do that is to go through the cycle of reincarnation over random over again. Death is not the end, it's a stepping stone.

but there is some maintenance of continuation of the mind, with reincarnation each new life is a blank slate with the only connection between them is sharing soulstuff.
>>
>>96432089
Then you're not engaging with the setting in good faith.
>>
>>96431999
But I have no reason to care about the soul.
Imagine someone saying:
"I am going to kill you, but after that I'm going to feed you to pigs. So you don't actually die, because the nutritious matter in your body continues to live on in the adipose tissue of the pigs."

>If you truly believe you are completely erased on death then reincarnation would not work.
"If you truly believe you are completely erased after someone kills you and feeds you to pigs, then providing nutrition for the pigs from your body would not work."
There are things about the body that are not erased, and perhaps they will provide nutrition for the pigs. But this has no bearing on what you consider the end of your self.

In other words, you theoretically could get them to work together.
But in reality, do you really have those people skills? Probably not.
>>

Then perish. You've created an anti-solipsism for yourself and nullified your soul. If you don't believe the soul is you, then it is not you and you will not continue.

That's the only specific point in the setting that I can't agree with. I as I am now can't see a "soul" as me. I care about my memories and my current self. If I lose that, that's a death (and it counts as a death in the setting). So I don't want to die. Reincarnation is death.

Imagine isekaing into a setting where a cosmic rule states: PINK IS THE CORRECT FAVORITE COLOR TO HAVE.
Does it mean your imaginary isekaing self is in a state of confusion as long as he believes his favorite color is something else? But there is no greater authority for what is one's favorite color than oneself. What you consider your "self" and what you don't, is like that too. It's an inherently subjective matter, so for the setting to override it, it should override the beliefs in your brain, not something outside.

You know fiert isn't instant, right? You will have to live as a terminally ill blind nugget with ADHD that turns into a rat until your fiert swap happens. Which could be a very, very long time.

>>96432712
Oh and obviously the 11th will be aware of all this and can prepare countermeasures, while you are sitting there unable to do anything as a blind ADHD nugget rat.

Most builds aren't All-Glimpse builds, and detecting death slots is secret lore they'll have to figure out on their own.

The 11th will have 100 years to prepare, and will know that (YOU) picked their death slot. Wouldn't be that hard to figure it out from there.

>You, at minimum, need to buy time while somehow preventing 0^0 from just killing you.
Assign correct death to self and don't fuck over people actively opposing Charlie, kill Nilmatrix, make sure Omega gets Ot and pick Evdokia.
Some other events would also work if you have a specific plan how to make it harder for her.

I might have to give in and let the 12th waifu me.

There's simply no way [JNPL] mother is even remotely worth it. You lose -5AP/-5DP, but that's a token cost compared to not having a biological mother and father. You lose out on like 20AP worth of gifts, and are permalocked out of some gifts like machina mounting.

And? Do you think fated protection from death will be helpful after you've met her? Either you win, in which case it doesn't matter, or you lose, in which case you're fucked anyways. You can run away, but you can do that with Buki and you won't have a death slot to worry about.

Also, with Buki you don't have to worry about dying before confronting her, or dying from one of her minions.

Also, all of your other fates have to resolve before you can die. Most fates are random in when they occur, but there are several fates that are NOT random. For example, "One" will die when you reach adulthood. If you die before reaching adulthood, that would be a contradiction. Therefore 0^0 can't kill you before you're an adult. Same with Shadow of God and Pack of Goblin encounters.

Well the Empire seems to follow an agnatic-cognatic primogeniture where any legitimate male claim is higher than any legitimate female claim, but where females CAN inherit. So the legitimate succession order outside of any mitigating factors would probably be:
Iwnn > Any child of Iwnn (including with Zwa) > Zwa > Any child of Zwa (except with Iwnn) > The three stooges in birth order > Kaliopa (as the child of the blonde one.) The only reason there is a succession crisis is 1) Iwnn is sickly and can't rule himself. 2) The stooges maneuvered or were maneuvered into a regency position, giving them de-facto rulership and allowing them to fuck over Zwa despite her superior claim 3) Zwa had a child out of wedlock, which the stooges used as an excuse to punish her under their brother's name. But this is all very shaky political maneuvering, which is why the three are trying so hard to kill Zwa and the baby Outsider, because they know she has the superior claim, is superior at rulership and combat, and that their authority is shaky. All Zwa needs is enough political support at home and suddenly the stooges' proclamation that she's disinherited is completely obviated. Since Iwnn IS destined to die soon, the stooges ARE destined to die right after, and Zwa IS destined to bring war to them for being incompetent, the only practical barrier to you inheriting the empire as her child (with Iwnn or not) is Kaliopa herself.

Erginter went after Yphont and Xian took revenge on her for this.
I would stay hidden or joined Yphont and/or Xian in case Erginter was still around. Given a chance I would also give her death letter (assuming I can add to the one she already picked).

Erginter was on the offensive, actually. Xian was going for Inga's notes when she attacked him.

>>What exactly happened as Erginter was taken over by Aat/Xian, and went on to challenge the elder gods and the script, and then commited suicide? Why did Aat/Xian go on to challenge the elder gods? And why did they commit suicide after? Was it because the suicide came from Xian's "Yat" that was given to him by Yphont from long ago when he was her companion? So Erginter's death letter triggered first, and Xian's death letter triggered after. And perhaps Xian knew that since his death letter was delayed in order to resolve Erginter's death letter, his own long ago death letter of Yat was near, and so he was prompted to go challenge the elder gods before his death was dealt? But then he failed and the three pillars gazed before him as he killed himself through him realizing there was no hope and ended his story and played to his fate?

>There are two ways to interpret this story.

>The first is that the villainous Demon Lord Xian set his eyes on becoming a god and charged forward to get the notes to Empyreality, and reformed Erginter earnestly did everything she could to prevent him from getting his hands on the notes of Inga Yesod she kept.

>The second is that the anti-hero Xian went on to prevent the bloodthirsty murderer of his friend from utilizing the notebook.

>Or anything in between these two stories.
Tankista's answer on reddit.
Since we know Xian wasn't really a villain and his main goal was to save his sister (Bal) so the second reading has more merit to it.
Pretty sure notes are the ones we get in Dream Bigger and Higher.

You can have the best of both worlds with living forever and death by just using Ielziaseh's method really slowly as an undead. That's essentially just normal forgetting and changing as a person.

As for Pukluxun, you're at war, use it on the people you're killing anyway. In civil times do it via necromancy as a funerary rite. Chosen individual gives the subject their final death.

I had one idea to do it not via blood, but to extract the built up Meaning in a soul. Essentially sending them back to the start of their journey of reincarnation, a bit like how new outsiders are. Works best on Ecumenites since they don't want meaning in general away, it's looser, easier to extract.

>>96434486
I disagree, Inga didn't do anything objectively evil, all she was doing was unifying the continent under her empire. That's pretty normal. Hell, she managed to take the Old Throne cleverly with zero bloodshed. Her only mistake was that she did it pretending to be the 8th Seat, and Erginter was a seething prideful retard. If she had done this while pretending to be the 11th the only thing I'd beat up for her impertinence is her pussy.

“True” draconic solipsism is a crude imitation, a poor strawman levied against this fiction-shattering trvke. The 11th, symbolized by AzAz, is the first of firsts, the new beginning, and the only one.

She had an amalgamation of Demon Lords who tried to posses her that was similar to the True Dragon Amalgamation. Thanks to that not being her fated death and her Yrde teachings she managed to turn the amalgam into a bomb. To forge it again she would need to have an army of demon lord's merge into one through mass sacrifices and manage to trap it again.
Xian and his demons were slowly going the True Dragon route so I'm sure that the one who decided to rebel against the gods was ultimately him with a bit of Erginter.

Dream passage is probably the best for magic/plot purposes, yes.
I would probably pick flowing gait over shadow footwork though. It's a lot cheaper and almost as good in pure defense, while having more versatility.

I think people overstimate what Dream Passage does. Sure, understanding dreams is 'good' if you want to fuck up the world more, but it's still a one point gift whose only direct benefit is related to dungeons. Nowhere does it imply it will make you the dream shaper that will forge the nightmare into a weapon.
>>
Can dreamers name one good thing that came from anyone messing with dreams? The nightmare's already destroyed half the world.
>>
>>96435641
He only went after her when he found out about the Inga notes, like 50 years after Yphont was killed. It may have been partially as revenge but I doubt that was the only reason.

I mean, I did that because my whole build was about creating nightmare monsters, that's why I picked Esu as a companion. What actually happens when you meet your death with Iotated Greater Yus? Is it a physical process? Or just the souls?
What happens if you do Iotated Lesser Yus into Iotated Greater Yus?
>>
>>96436042
The conversation over the past few days has me convinced that people here are so self-obsessed that they view literally any change or growth as personality death

Which, you know, explains a lot about all the author drama shit that happens during content droughts.

>>96436084
I think it's disingenuous to compare 'literally any change' to 'you die and your identity is erased'.

>Full access to all Dungeons in the world and their loot
>A superior hideout in case you want to lay low for a while.
>Perfect lucid dreaming so can practice both martial and magical pursuits.
>The foundation needed to acquire mastery of dreams and nightmares from mentors.
>The ability to intrude on others dreams, which in itself has endless potential applications.

Lesser Yus is arguably a buff. Two streams of consciousness is strong on its own, but in a world where you can cast magic just by thinking...
>>
Why taking Keter with True Love doesn't count as "enjoying things"?
>>
>>96436151
Your continuity as a conscious entity is broken every time you go to sleep.

I'd run it as Az happening normally, and then at some point your soul reincarnates with both sets of memories at once. Each life feels equally real.
>>
>>96436304
Assuming Charlie really had a good life and didn't find the appeal of the reincarnation, it's possible she tried to give herself a good story but every set back and failure just made her miss home more and more. As in, she doesn't seem to be happy being a goddess, it's possible she would genuinely leave everything at the chance to go back just as it is likely she would convince herself her revenge and spite take priority.
>>
>>96436331
The thing about this particular cyoa is (you) already died on earth to get here. Your life was already over. I can only assume Charlie had just gotten a promotion, just got engaged and won the lottery before she got truck-kun'd to make her so adamant about going back. Still, she would likely have to be reborn as a new person if she went back to earth or rise as a zombie.

So… are there computers in OR? Did Vtorusha invent any? There is that one warmachina companion, but that seems to be something else entirely(?)

Anyways, it would be pretty easy to program a computer to store and replay god script on command. Would that work? The dwarves store god script in runes, but can an entity without a soul cast a god script spell? And could you do it repeatedly (barring any loss of meaning), or just once for the one time you input it?
>>
>>96436519
Power of "hidden" lore and autism.
>>
>>96436528
I think there is a warmachine that's able to cast spells without needing to know their meaning. So you can just load it up and pew pew
>>
>>96436530
Considering how bad a lot of people are at reading, the lore might as well count as hidden.
>>
>>96436538
You still have to know the meaning of the spell yourself though, yeah?
Otherwise you could monkey with a typewriter your way into some bullshit op spells.
>>
>>96436528
It might not be possible to make computers as we know them. The world doesn’t run on the same physics as ours, and Vtorusha might have made them if she could. 0^0 is making the world’s physics more like ours now but she doesn’t know real physics deeply.
>>
>>96436538
You know that there's a whole kind of magic that doesn't have a Meaning economy.
>>
>>96436571
Computers, at their most basic level, don't run on very complicated physics.
Something that just records and outputs set strings could be replicated entirely mechanically.

Obviously you probably aren't going to be having chatGPT cast your spells, or possibly not even making microprocessors at all, but still.

I always imagined that mathemagics was designed around a half-remembered intro to CS class that Charlotte was taking on earth before she kicked it
>>
>>96436606
That’s true. But it’s possible that the gods have weird, specific conditions set that block very specific outcomes while still allowing others to take place by similar principles. That may seem like a weak argument to you but I think it should be considered along with the fact that Vtorusha pushed the boundaries of what was possible wherever she could. But of course that was before 0^0 started making edits, so things that weren’t possible then are now. So perhaps is more room for such things than I first suggested.

Imagine you have a staff, and on it are a number of rotating rings. The face of each ring is inscribed with a letter of the god script, or some phrase in god script. Each ring can rotate to form different complete phrases in combination with the other rings, and each ring can form a complete phrase in itself and/or in combination with the other rings, depending on the direction in which you read it. Like a magic Scrabble stick. Would be cool to have a weapon that changes properties based on how you’ve set the rings.

That’s an example of a very simple mechanical “computer”, but on the more complicated side you could also store spells for later on-demand use, quickly chain different spells, set conditionals for your spells, do loops, etc. Basically all the fun things you can do with programming. Or you could just compute things. I’m sure someone somewhere could make use of an artillery computer.

I don't have Outer Reincarnation up, but they could refer to a permanent breakdown of the setting.

Xi - the goddesses divide up the world, and thus have no need for Outsiders, as they no longer interact with each other. (You) are dumped back on Earth like a returned Amazon.com package

Theta - the Outsider system collapses. People are brought in as "true" isekais, rather than reincarnated. Alternately, the universe devolves into a VR/video game construct, and "Outsiders" are now just players, with some cosmic number crunching system handling the skills they've "learned". The goddesses are locked out, and replaced by NPC chatbots

Izhista - pretty self-explanatory. Universe is unmade, and every single possibility is back on the table
>>
>>96437132
I don't see any exploit...
