Any suggestions?I have been gold fishing with it and I make a lot of mana but with very few things to use it on. I ramp really hard, but by turn 6 I’ve only got a couple but fatties cause I either draw a bunch of ramp spells, forests, or mana elves. I have a hunch that I need a better balance of mana ramp and things to use that mana on. I am taking out reliquary tower because it feels really unnecessary, and roaring primadox can be a neat engine to turn let me spam ETB effects but I think I would rather have a big strong creature to dump my mana into. Also I'm removing elvish visionary for scavenging ooze since later into the game i can use all my mana to just exile entire GY before my turn starts. Added garruk for another overrun effect but I want to be casting Yeva at 4 mana and he's pretty average anyway. My other deck is this Alania otter spellslinger deck but I can also convert it to a weaker but more fun Melek deck. I really think Sensei's divining top is busted and I don't want to shell out $30 for it, but I'm guessing Melek is so underpowered and expensive that Top is only levelling the playing field. The contents of the box can be built for ~$145 in singles which is high because certain Slivers shot up in price due to the new support in EOE making them something people want to brew. Generally in-print precons are decent as a starting point for budget brewing, especially if you're new. They're never optimal but if you're starting from nothing and want to build a Muldrotha deck you could do worse than picking up a Teval precon for the manabase and GY synergies in-color.

What is the absolute worst deck to play against? I nominate discard decks. Last game, this guy had us in a lock after a boardwipe and blinking his commander a few times. None us had any cards in hand. The problem was, that he hadn't thought of implementing a wincon. So the three us watched him fumbling through his turns, getting overwhelmed by his own triggers. It took him way too long to kill us all. It was absolutely miserable.
