Resin flashing doesn't look like anything that comes put of a gw plastic mould. There's also the issue of the double mouldline, and if you aren't careful about cleaning up your model it will be immediately obvious. Essentially as long as you're building a resin recast of a resin model, and are putting in the minimum amount of effort while building, then nobody will know. If your recaster is good you could easily make a living off buying recast en masse,building them, spraying them and then flipping them on ebay as "used". It's so prevalent at this point that I wouldn't buy anything thats used forgeworld that you can't see the resin, or doesn't come with the bag + instructions + sprue gates

finished the earthshakers tonight. Honestly miserable experience to paint these. I very much disliked painting 6 guys and 2 pseudo-vehicles just for 2 finished dioramas that I probably won't ever run.I really like the sculpts but man I hated painting them.
