And while I don't expect full historical accuracy in my fantasy I'd like it if at least a better attempt was made.

The architecture is a mess by itself where you have towns that look something between your typical mmoslop fantasytown to rural german european village from 17th century. Don't even get me started on design choices for individual characters. It becomes so bad later in the manga that you can't even differentiate the new characters from each other.

It's a fashion trend that sometimes border on a civilizational LARP. Still working out all the details. Very early on with everything, and I've been feeling a pressure lately to enact some whiplash to get away with everything I want to do with it.
