I'm having a hard time finding info on how elevation affects los. best I can discern (admittedly on the fly because I was lazy) is that if two mechs are on the same plain with elevation between them, it breaks los. No idea how to handle shooting up or down an hill with clear los.

I haven't looked at any of the newer force packs, are there any worth getting? I'm mostly interested in evergreen mechs that can be used in all eras.
