>>96599123In a clear mismatch of decks and skills I usually aim to finish my opponents off quickly rather than playing it safe. The tables were turned on me because of that on multiple occasions though. That risk can vary widely depending on the game of course.

So I'm really new to flesh and blood. Can "pirate necromancer" actions be added to any pirate or necromancer deck or does the hero have to be a "pirate necromancer " could I add it to my deck if the hero was just a pirate for example? Or a pirate ranger?

>>96604079Not true. There's heroes like Lyath and NuNuKayo that care about weakling cards with good effects suddenly. Now you look back at all these cards from the last five years, ones that went for .43 cents before and were mothballed are now used as banger staples for their archetype. Yes they care about their talent which is new to abuse certain mechanics, but they also made a boat load of bulk at the very least interesting. If they design more characters that straddle the line between both giving new life to old cards as well as introducing a bevy of new toys to the game then they could make this style of release work.

So I'm kinda curious and would like to try it out. What's the best way to get into FAB? An armory deck featuring a character I like?
>>96605454Armory decks are good entry points and recent ones have been decent with reprints and power. Avoid the Maxx deck because it sucks and the Aurora one was only CC legal for something like 53 days. But the others Jarl-onward are decent starting points. New set has Pleiades armory deck who is like a heavy metal bard. Older ones are hard to find and only Kayo and Dash IO's are worth it from that group. The current store play promo packs are reprinting the cards from those anyway.There is also smash palace which is like mtg's planechase and pretty fun as a small thing. Blitz longboxes for the last couple sets too which can function as tutorial battleboxes and are playable with smash palace though probably not your local armory.
