Edge of the Empire or another RPG like WEG could also work but RPGs take some prep time and while board games are really easier to get people into.10-15 minutes to explain the rules and pick which character they think is the coolest and you're good to go.Keep in mind that Imperial Assault is built to simulate the OT experience, so it's normal for the rebel players to lose the first few missions to the imperial GM. I've met some people who found that frustrating.
