This heavy reliance on slow vancian magic clashes with the tone of the high pitched war going on. Not to mention almost every quest requires you to travel all over the world making the gathering of ingredients and finding a place to do the rituals alot harder as a result. It just doesn't make sense, Blood Mage would make more sense if the conflict was a masquerade-type cold war.

I didn't pick stuff like Alchemy or plague-making because those look like spheres for NPC servants: like I'm gonna waste my time gathering herbs and such when I have at the very least the solar system to rule. The author has an extremely weird fixation on boosting pregnancy times for some reason too. I guess that would benefit me if I want more bones for my bone constructs. Considering everything in this build can be made from bones (which are freely shaped and can be harder than metal), Nagash probably had the right idea with his bone tithe tax policy. Probably going to make all the terraforming mages work for me and make all the planets livable to transport people there and establish bone farms.
