The plan now is Coat of Arms + Skeletal Swarming, then sac a bunch of em with Jarad after dealing combat damage. FNM report. Mulliganed to 4 and almost won. Very early into the game Derevi had permanent, "Sacrifice this Creature: Draw 2 cards" and "When this permanent leaves the battlefield, draw a card."I also had a sticker that read, "Exile this permanent: you may cast target spell from your graveyard this turn."But I made some greedy and brutal misplays that ended with me dying, when I really should've run away with the game. Largely off the back of forgetting Monument to Endurance has a burn mode.Didn't help that people kept shortcutting their enter combat when I had Derevi to tap their creatures down. But I didn't want to be anal about it, since I didn't think it'd matter too much. But the chip damage is what killed me.

Giving your opponents the option to pay 3 kinda sucks, and Arcane Denial draws a card.Not sure why you have top? Top is a good card but I don't see much in there to really abuse it. Miracle cards or something maybe.Going for combat is bold and going to be difficult usually. Things like Coruscation Mage are reliable pingers.Run Treasure Cruise. Light up the Stage is also prob good for you. Stella Lee is a solid creature for this. Charmbreaker Devils are too slow and very likely to be interacted with. The +Atk spells are kind of sus. I guess Veyran can voltron kind of, but I think usually you want to double other triggers as your wincon.Id cut 2 lands. If you add Light up the Stage, you have plenty of draw to find lands. Keep Watch also a good card perhaps.That creature with defender kinda sucks

So, overloading Mizzix's Mastery lets you do that, Crackle with Power does that, Surge to victory does that too, but less cleanly. If you want to win with token you need to probably put a few more counterspells in the deck to protect from board wipes, you want Balmor to ensure damage passes through, and you need a haste source because if you spend all your mana to generate a big board and then pass turn, its unlikely you get to untap with that board intact.

Stormsplitter is probably the finisher you've been looking for in a token spam deck, as it comes with haste built in and Balmor can give it trample, but its a pain in the ass to track which otters have +1/+2/+3 etc

Zombies dominate the Sultai space in terms of obnoxious token undead bullshit, Skeletons should be tweaked into either Jund or dare-i-say-it, Glint-Eye and fully embrace their ephemeral nature with things like Lightning Skelemental. >TQI see a lot of the warp cards, but not many people are running EoE commanders, it seems. I got both the precons during the EoE prerelease and liked them a lot, so I ended up upgrading them. I've swapped out the bugman for Korvold a few times, and it still runs fine. The deck snowballs super hard and is fun to pilot. Kilo can be abused easily, but I stick to meme wincons like Millennium Calendar to win instead of Ballista-ing everyone. I am interested in proxying the manabase and making an Infinite Guideline Station deck since I'm not paying for all that shit. I've always wanted to try a 5c deck.

Eventually realized I had one of her in my bulk and a glut of red draw discard cards there too so put them all together. Even a couple of the discard payoffs like Glint-Horn and Surly Badgersaur. Tried it out this week and honestly, it went pretty well. She got big fast and started hitting people for dangerous amounts quickly. Took out two of the other players in one big turn with Scourge Of The Throne and her. Not really sure where to take it next though. It's incredibly straightforward, which I do like about it, but that leaves it in a point where I'm stuck between synergy and options.

That's fine - it gives you a range of options - however it means Teysa Karlov and cards similar to her don't trigger or cause any kind of effect. They didn't die. There's the second clause too, "at the beginning of your end step", meaning that if you can get a token that'll exile at the end of the turn, Minthara doesn't trigger off of it. A permanent didn't leave the battlefield by at the start of your end step, it left during. As a result, she doesn't get an Experience Counter from that permanent leaving, because it missed the time to leave.Second, she has an issue with Toughness. You can make her big - and with Ward, she's scary - but she can't ever really swing because she's 2 Toughness, meaning she can be pinged to death by pretty much anything, and she can never swing or block without being killed. As a result, you have this glass cannon that you have to essentially try and cheat past your opponent with something like Fear or Shadow, and if they ever catch her, it doesn't matter that you have 2000 counters, she's going to cost at least 6 mana and now your entire board loses their +200/+0 until you can get her back out.
