Can someone redpill me on mag locking, can I just glue a bolter to the hip of the marine and call it a day? For my veteran squad who's holding a melee weapon.
>>96697205Cool idea, that purity seal will get stuck and mawled in the chainaxe tho
>>96697262yesthe power plant is also another place to slap shit
>>96697205Its the arms. One arm is fully outstretched (to shoot, duh), but the axe arm isn't extended back as far.I assume the utterly massive jumppack is in the way, otherwise I would suggest bringing the axe arm back a little.Otherwise you can try have the gun arm be in a running position instead of shooting. Shooting while sprinting IS going to be slightly awkward, and the weird way ashen circle hold theirs probably exaggerates this.
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone talk about these missions >whole page of rules to say "attacker holds objectives as normal, defender can only score off vanguard and keeping attacker off objectives"

Do transports inherit any scouting or infiltrate rules from units this time around?
>>96697918No. Honestly speaking they don't need to, now that units are still allowed to disembark after the transport moved at full speed.

>>96697743And yet crusade and malevolence are miles better than the supplements we got in later editions. Perspective.
>>96701009They really weren't. Siege of Cthonia was better.
>>96701020Siege was fuckin preem. Best missions, lore and units out of the entire 2e.

>>96700767no, tau are gay
>>96701191But that's not what I said. I consider Siege on par with Inferno, and if we're also including the quality of the rules additions (in terms of expansions to their respective core rules), Siege was the best book since Tempest. Holy fick did the rules start downsliding with retribution.

>>96702123No. None of the 2020s named demons have crossover
>>96702123NTA but no, they've stopped doing that, the Slaanesh daemons only got white dwarf rules IIRC in 9th and they didn't transfer over to 10th. In general, GW is trying to deprecate daemons (at least their current range) as a 40k army to only be in AOS/fantasy, to satisfy the bookkeepers who hate cross game armies
2 days till blackshields.
My Space Mongs got their first ride. I'm still going to smear some more poo on it sparingly, but it definitely changed my future oil recipe.
>>96702285>GW is trying to deprecate daemons (at least their current range) as a 40k armythey've been rolled into the relevant Legion codex, Slaanesh is in CEC as LEGIONS OF EXCESS while the CSM in the same book are EMPEROR'S CHILDRENmakes sense given how small the number of units for each daemon faction is, has always been and is likely to stay - a lot of the new AoS-era units never really looked the part in 40k anyway, do you really want the combine harvester coming at you between two Land Raiders and a relic Leviathan?
>>96702549Very nice. I think you're right there in the sweet spot for dirty white armor.Question / suggestion: Have you ever tried mixing pigment powder with water? You can apply it with a brush into recesses, then come back after it dries and add / remove / feather blend it with a damp brush. It's like oil point but even easier, and it leaves a really cool matte dusty finish if you do it as your last painting step.
>>96702332I'm interested to see if Shattered Legions are halfway playable this edition. You can kind of get there already just by throwing a lot of allied dets at the problem, but it would be nice to cut down on the cost of detachment-granting HQs for each.Would also be nice to have Crysos Morturg/Nemean Reaver rules, but I'm not holding out hope since Meduson is in the core legions book and he sucks.
>>96698660For being cool cyborg dudes I feel like its wild just how unpopular they are. Even crazier is just how poorly written a decent chunk of their stuff is (excluding shattered legions and the black books.) Such is the fate of a legion whose purpose is to make others look cool
>>96702769I'm pretty sure they hard confirmed no crysos morturg or any other HH1.0 character that never got a model, they just told you to run them as whatever Consul they were closest to (ignore the fact that they took away the option to literally take any of Crysos's wargear from moritats...)
>>96702785> Always bring order to chaos> Never arrest anyone> Just shoot everyone> Always grade F
Man, on one hand, I can totally see where Anon was coming from connecting this to malevolent artifice, on the other hand I don't think I fould ever look at this and not see the video game enemy in it rather than a Warhammer daemon
>>96698702did you have to mix all those paints just to make black? surely there's an easier way
