Then also look at the nutso claims MaRo makes that “horror themes” are less popular than UB. It smacks of “eating chocolate makes you lose weight” and “ice cream sales cause homicides” when you understand just how the data is being presented.

okay guys hear me out
>>96779592Years ago I had something like this happen to me. It's a long story related to a misunderstanding about fake cards, but WotC contracted lawyers where I live to visit the LGS I was playing at and speak to me. I later recieved an email from DCI demanding that I share the personal information of people I was in contact with - including but not limited to real name, screenname, phone number, email address, home address, etc - and that I would be DCI banned if I didn't reply with the information within 48 hours. Not only did I not have the information they demanded, but I wouldn't have shared it even if I did. I told them this and sure enough my name was placed on the DCI banlist, expiring in 2049.Since the DCI dissolved the only place you can see it is on Waybackmachine. I played under a fake name at a different LGS for a month or two after, their contractors informing my usual LGS, but lost interest. I came back a couple of years ago and am sad that I missed out on a golden era of Legacy.

To add to the outrage about the text less ( -counter Target spell ; -draw a card ; -return target permanent ; -tap all creatures you don't control) card:The text less cards from the player rewards were chosen among cards that saw lots of play in standard. Why don't you complain about the text less lighting bolts? Well because you played against or with it lots of times to the point that you remember what it does. Also CC full art was expensive back in the day and now. Someone would have a copy for people to see and just like foreign language cards: internet exists and you can search the card on gatherer.

I haven't played Magic in a while, I quit about fifteen years ago. Is it worth getting back in? is it fun to play right now? >>96782553Plenty of interaction. It's just slow compared to the past. Before rotation, especially during the cutter mouse apocalypse, interaction was just too slow. RDW is still slop. But not as bad as it was when it was the mouse deck. Vivi is extremely annoying. But it's something like a 20% chance to get the combo and most games you should be able to stop it. The Kaito deck is still a thing because it can interrupt RDW or Vivi's wins consistently enough to win. But right now standard is just the most annoying slop format. Boring to play thanks to every other rare being some kind of Quirion Dryad variant and with white/green being entirely about token spam. >>96782574Pauper is the only fun format at the moment. >do they police fakesOfficial tournaments generally do not allow proxies.
