Will playing a theft deck get me hated off the table
>>
>>96794801
Depends on your pod and how you play. The one thing I can guarantee is that if you play theft, at least one person at the table is going to know exactly how powerful what you have is, because you ripped it from his grubby hands.

You will need to pace yourself if your deck isn't tuned to fuck and back and if it is, you're going to have to be upfront with it or else people will be ultra pissed. The "oh I'm only playing your stuff, so it's only as powerful as your deck" argument is only cute the first time.

with the amount of shit that is released per minute, do you really expect WotC, of all instances, to be a creative mastermind?
There is only so much you can do with WotCs current rulset and about 5 zones in existence, except juggle cards around in a slightly different manner and call it something different this time.
Its bound to happen that everything looks similar with this much shit being released

Final Fantasy is based and in my opinion really meshes with the type of fantasy Magic has, TMNT, Marvel, etc are to me a completely different type of fiction/genre and it feels extremely out of place. Kinda like how LOTR works but Star Trek (despite my enjoyment of TNG) really feels off.

As much wonder and unique, magical stuff that exists in Star Trek, I think EoE really captures a more magical feel of things and less of a science-y take on it. Sure, we got ships and such, but maybe it's just me and my personal interest.

I used to have a Mishra deck, my old list is here

My main alternate wincons were just slapping the shit out of people with Karnstructs, or just outvaluing people with regular Tokens with provided keywords (Double Strike, Menace, Myriad, etc), or even just using Cyberdrive Awakener if I had enough stuff on the field to kill people without Mishra. Otherwise, I just blew counters on protecting him and such.

Sure. The reason I say it's arguably worst there is your less likely to hit big bombs, and a much higher density of counterspells. Worse doesn't mean bad btw, etali is certainly good in cedh, but absolutely triple-God unholy kijg bazookadick tier in lower power level contexts.
>>
>>96796544
I don't think you understand my argument
>>
Temur confuses me
>>
>>96796532
The chance you flip into a counterspell or unusable combo piece, i.e. literally the worst possible hits, is way higher in cEDH. Despite that the value from the card is still high enough that it's run as a wincon. In lower power games now you swap half the bad hits for a random 8-mana bomb and surprisingly wow the card still looks good.

And this one is a "cedh" build. Dagsson was the 2nd edh deck that I made (back in last year of school when our group find about edh on a facebook group). The 1st deck was a Sliver Overlord one, but the foil og slivers play even better on a binder, so I dismantled it.
Since I 1st build Dagsson he went from a "swissknife" style that tryed to do everything (with Dagsson's tutoring); now it's a soulless U goodstuff that tries to combo on T1. Oh my days...

Youre retarded. The worst possible hit for etali is a LAND CARD you fucking moron. And where are you more likely to hit a land? In lower tier games where the land count is higher. And, interaction is another thing you dont want to hit. Guess what has more interaction! Low power games! The chances of hitting gas is much better in cedh
>unusable combo piece
Such as...? What "unsuable" combo piece do you think hes hitting? If he hits a counter its a counter your opponents dont have (very good!) If you hit a combo piece YOU WILL USE IT or leave if exiled so they cant. Fuck sakes youre both retarded and got your shit kicked in by a middling deck and cant accept that.

WHAT BOMBS? This is fucking absurd. What ubiquitous goodstuff bombs is etali getting in low power matches? ~1/3 of low power decks are lands, much more than cedh decks so already you are more likely to hit shit. Second off low power decks are usually (USUALLY) more restricted in their card choices. Unlike the default goodstuff piles of cedh you will get tons of cards in low power that are literally only good for the deck they are in. Absolutely retarded opinion

The density of unplayables in high-power is much higher because there's a high volume of stack interaction and combo pieces (that Thoracle isn't doing much without backup). Yes the ceiling is theoretically higher (I say "theoretically" because people go through enormous amounts of mental gymnastics for including cards that really don't belong in their "casual low-power" decks), but the EV is much lower, and this is offset by often being able to reset it.

Cyclonic Rift doesn't win the game though. Such a silly thing, I've never understood that canard. It's just as much of a defensive card as Farewell. However you win after a Rift, you could have won the same way without it. Probably more efficiently too. It doesn't help you combo. If you're going to combo it doesn't help you win. It's a card that keeps you from losing and disrupts your opponents. The only way it would help you win is by combat damage, and aggro decks don't really want Rift.

I don't get this. Isn't Joe a flamer? Why would he leave? Isn't Beezy his best friend? Was Beezy making fun of him for being a gay or using pronouns? I'm confused.
>>
>>96799330
Joe Cherries is a huge flamer, but Beezy didn't want the channel to get that kind of attention nor did he really care about it. Plus the numbers were going up when his girlfriend starting getting up on the videos, even more so when she put on a layer of makeup. So he left while getting very pushed.
>>

That's why I proxy brah. I'm not wasting time chasing down cards.

The usual wincons for cEDH builds of this are:
Copy Artifact + an artifact land recycling Lotus Bloom to generate infinite mana, which can then be used to generate infinite draw and then the actual kill is infinite extort with Blind Obedience (there are several variants of this combo which I will not get into)
Mind over Matter + any two artifact or enchantment lands that enter untapped
Also, although it doesn't directly need the commander since you're already playing Mind over Matter you might as well also play One Ring since those two are a combo too.
There's zero need to play Thoracle in that deck and it just reduces card quality.
>>
>>96799576
Yeah turns out that after MH3 you have so many good MDFC lands that goblin charbelcher combo decks are suddenly very viable. It also turns out that recycling lotus bloom with tameshi is also the best way to generate the 7 mana needed to win with belcher quickly.
>>
>>96799701
doesn't lotus bloom only give 1 mana? how is tameshi's recycling ability mana-positive?
>>
>>96799730
You're thinking of Lotus Petal retardkun.
>>
>>96799730
You're confusing it with lotus petal, lotus bloom gives 3 mana but has suspend 3 so you can either suspend it turn 1 and wait for it "fairly" (viable in modern, highly not reccomended in EDH since you only have one) or you can find a way to discard it so you can reanimate it with Tameshi skipping the suspend. You can also "cheat" it into play with whir of invention/reshape for X=0. The math then works out that you got positive two mana for every Tameshi activation, since you have to bounce a land to hand for every activation it works out similar to if you had cast a rain of filth. It's not unusual to be able to "ritual" for 10-20 mana on turns you're trying to win with this interaction, both in modern and EDH.

We warned that UB would result in a new pseudo-reserve list. Pretty sure the deal for 40K has now expired and no more print runs for the decks. As seen, the singles in those decks are now reaching absurd prices. WOTC claims they can totally reprint them but is likely lying. This is why you should buy these precons. Because in a few years all the singles in it will be like 20+

They grab the guy and his cards and start going through his deck boxes and binders and rip up all UB cards they can find. When everything is over there are torn up cards everywhere and the guy is absolutely broken. Everybody goes back to their table and they continue playing like nothing happened.
