First for Rudy is a genius. $10,000 dollar pay to win option is next level SCAMMING. Anyone that doesn't know, he just kicked off the scavenger hunt to end all scavenger hunts.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYaTPYDCMHQHow do you like them apples?
>>96826499>TQI bought my first new playmat in three years today, and the first one I've paid for in 11 years. Kept failing to win one at set champs. So no, I don't collect them.
>>96826523I think Rudy is a funny guy and no amount of seething from spiteful mutants will change that.
>>96826523>SCAMMINGJust watched the video. Man, it's just a customer loyalty system except he's revealed the way to cash it in long after handing out the punch cards. It's a silly promotion with a silly option to purchase the reward directly. What's the issue?
>>96826499>TQI have numerous kittymats at this point. Actually considering putting them up on my walls now that I saw toploaders exist for them.
>>96826594I play side events to earn tickets and buy them off the prize wall myself. I think I've won a few championship mats as well but those are from earlier in my career, when the game was simpler.
>>96826523>the fairy on his shelf from his wife, watching over his gun smuggling side hustle wholesome?
>>96826523This guy is the only thing keeping FaB afloat, and he's a genuine scammer. Really gets the noggin joggin'!
>>96826870Haven't you nerds heard the word? Fab is saved. There's a new format in town, and it solves everything people were complaining about before. Classic Constructed is still largely the same, but now we can have fun with the game on a fresh note. Bulk is now Bulk-King in this new $20 dollar competitive deck format.
>>96826907I know you're trying to sound like a shill, but people actually talk like this about this game, without a hint of irony. These are the last death throes of FaB. They're so desperate, and every facet of this game's marketing (both official and "unofficial") make it obvious.
>>96826919Meanwhile, the Worlds budget increased by another $500k. FaB ded confirmed. Two more weeks.
>>96826919No, I can't stop shillin', that's how I talk. I'm original, holding back the line all the way to prime-time, ready to bust a rhyme through the grapevine, no need to pass this OG a dime cuz I already dropped the line. Now hurry up and shuffle because this warrior is ready for a tussle; if you don't you better pack your ass up in your lil baby duffel. Thanks for your question. God bless.
>>96826919This is me except for when people talk about Living Legend. I have not ever seen anyone play that supposed "format" not once.
>>96827002I missed this dood. Fab domination. In before they ask us to leave again, that always cracks me up.
I hate Gundam

>>96827344Going to go into detail about it or? I can understand from how bad supply is but apparently that's just how bandai games are & people haven't raised more of a ruckus about it. They did at least make it seem like there's an attempt at being better with the premium site products Set wise one store I know is getting 24 boxes and simply a limit of "let others be able to get some" Another no clue on count but already plan for a proper # rather than an obtuse amount which enables whales. Which is what people at that one have joked about being an issue Personally I like the simplicity of the game. Even the tournies want people to be quick with the 30min best of onesYet somehow there are slowplayers. It's a mixed bag but if I could have proper time to play rather than work I have fun.
>>96827475It doesnt feel like a turn based metaphor of mobile suit combat its too simple
>tried to make a good Marlyn Silver deck>she's still ass >toss a Lexi together hap haphazardly>it's an actual contender for top seat Talents were a mistake. More specifically, Aria was a mistake.
>>96827770Talents didn't cause FaB's design mistakes. The specific words on the typeline can not cause poorly balanced cards. Doubly so when we also know most of FaB is developed per-hero not per-type.If there were no talents at all, chances are good the worst designs would still exist.Someone would still be in the dev room saying "lmao what if we just let runeblade do everything AND split damage AND at a good rate".Someone would still have had the idea of "what if we make blue heavy heroes that ALSO have massive offensive overlap?"Whatever dogshit is problematic about Lexi would still exist.
>>96827929Elementalism gives them an excuse to push the card value you up, because of fusion of course. Every single aria hero is broken as fuck. There's talents that have heroes that aren't game warping, but enchanted Aria takes the cake. Only rivaled from Mysteria, but that was a different part of a poor design choice, over powering blue cards which happen to be so energy rich they can shrug off any form of taxation. In general I agree with you though. I thought it would be fun to play under appreciated heroes in the new format but there's some very clear winners here, and they're usually talented.
I think I've figured it out. 5 colors + colorless/generic, any card as resource like Duel Masters + dedicated resource cards, Unsuspend/Draw/M1/Combat/M2/End, instant/quick effects, Buddyfight life. Combat works like Duel Masters/Bandaislop, but with a dedicated phase. Uses Yugioh's SEGOC and Chains. The point isn't to make an original game, but to make something simple so people (me) can make cards based on their (my) favorite cards and aspects of other games.
>>96827475>Personally I like the simplicity of the game. Even the tournies want people to be quick with the 30min best of onesPIt's mainly the IP. Thats it
>>96828853>played on a gridZ/X
>>96827770What was a mistake was half the fucking pirate pool being "interact with macro" effects. A few is fine but for constructed it renders line 10 or 15 whole ass cards completely worthless.
Trying to get into one piece, got myself a starter deck and will have to visit a tcg store or something to try it out. Magic tg background, went over several rule videos, but the whole 0 mana counter cards, the mana in general (don) and the order of combat/playing cards stills seems a bit confusing to me without actually trying out the game. You guys like it? I like how cheap the cards/decks are, doesnt seem hard to get into (magic..)
>>96829694I enjoy the game well enough but I quit around set 10. The core gameplay is fine but there were never many changes or new mechanics between sets. Cards tend to do whatever their color identity is and not much else. The resource system also being a way to power up your cards is a cool idea.
There's more freedom (or would be) in deck building for Gundam than One piece right?

>>96830287So all I know is that One Pirate is a hero game while Gumham is a non hero game. The latter has two colors max, so if Won-pee has multiple colors, it's more diverse for deck building out the gates than Gunofqueens will ever be.
